I stayed here last night for a mom stay cation gift from my husband to relax. The night ended up being anything but relaxing. First of all people were yelling, thundering up and down the hall and screaming in the middle of the night. Secondly, a leak started from the ceiling of my room and was dripping onto my bed starting at 4 in the morning, kept me up since then and is still dripping now while I'm in my room packing up. Needless to say I didn't get the relaxation I needed and am extremely unhappy with this stay.

Great service very clean and Corona 19 clear!

The rooms could have been cleaner. We found trash behind the couch. Breakfast was ok, but not wonderful. The morning before check out the kids wanted to swim. Only or group was in the pool and a man stood at the door and either attempted to or took pictures of them. By the time we made it to the door the man was gone. Also, the billing stinks make sure the payment you use to check in is the one in the end you want billed. You will have to fight to get your money back. It was my daughter's 12th birthday and rather disappointing on these aspects. Also, we rented 2 rooms and asked for adjoining rooms which we asked 30 days ahead and they put or rooms across from each other.

Very unprofessional staff. Breakfast was pretty bad. Room was dirty. Spending 5 days here. Thinking about checking out and going somewhere else.

We were very pleased with out stay. The facilities were very nice. They were clean, with nice size rooms. Our only complaint was that the rooms did not have a microwave. The staff were very accommodating.

Overall clean and friendly place. The bathroom was very small and the door hit the toilet every time it would open and shut. The breakfast was really good with lots of options. The pool was great for the kids, but didn't seem to be heated like it said.

Had a slumber party for my daughter, staff was great and the place is clean. Nice indoor pool and the free breakfast was nice too. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here 5 nights for a local conference. Room was updated and spacious for the 4 of us. Breakfast was good and included hot and cold choices. The indoor pool is large and we had it mostly to ourselves … probably because it was not heated and VERY cold. Room service was o. K. But a couple days they did not come until after 5pm. Overall, a nice stay.

Good location near restaurants, shopping, movie theater, and freeway. Rooms are comfortable and reasonably quite. Service staff was good and friendly. Nice indoor pool and workout facility. Buffet breakfast was nice. Could use a bit more seating in dining area — was a bit crowded. Bathroom tissue could be better quality — was a bit thin and not at all soft. Bar is nice but could be better stocked — some fairly common bottles were not available.

The rooms are looking very tired and beat up. Probably need to change some mattresses. The staff is very cold, they don't present a welcoming place. The place is clean and the breakfast is good.

Very nice accommodations. Could use some refreshing. But very good experience.

Great service as always. I made a "day of" reservation and they accommodated me well. The room was clean and could fit our family of 6. We visited the pool, it was clean and just the right size for young kids. There were a few things that needed fixing, the handrail came out of the cement at one point, but a person from the staff and my husband replaced it. We got our bill in the morning and had a smooth check out. Morning breakfast was delicious and the staff worked hard to keep up with the demand of food. We will definitely be back!

Room is clean and nice enough. Has a refrigerator but it's not the coldest. Has a TV but most channels come through very poorly. Bed is comfy and AC works great.

The hotel was clean and cozy. The staff were helping and nice. The breakfast was very good. Also the hotel is very easy to get to and is close to many restaurants and stores.

I love this place but their on demand never works on the TV. Don't even bother trying. They always say they will reset it and it has never worked. When the lady came to check the TV she said she didn't bother to knock because I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door… even though we had just spoken 60 seconds before. So instead of knocking she walked back downstairs to call me and tell me to take the sign off so she could knock. This last time the desk person was going to make me wait an extra 90 minutes for a room. When they saw I had to sit and wait in the lobby they found me a room within 15 minutes. I try to be understanding but sometimes certain things just feel petty and it makes me avoid this place.

2 and a half stars for this, can't quite give it 3 stars so I'll leave it at 2. I stayed here for my wedding this past weekend. I always thought the Hyatt was supposed to be a really nice hotel but everything was kind of sub par. The rooms were half clean and half dirty, the linens, sink, and toilet was clean. However the ledge below the TV was nothing but dust, it was painfully obvious when the curtains were open and the light shined in on it. Every mirror had crazy streaks on it, looks like they tried cleaning it with water. And when I moved the stool to pull out the couch bed there was crumbs underneath which shows they didn't move it when they were vacuuming. The breakfast was good enough, having worked the hotel breakfast before I knew what to expect as far as the quality and taste, however they served the same thing 3 days in a row! We were never allowed to do that at the hotel I worked at, people want a variety. I was pretty limited as to what I could eat considering I don't like eggs and I don't like pancakes. And one last thing, remember I said I was here for my wedding, I extended my stay an extra night and willingly kept our daughter on OUR WEDDING NIGHT so that she could get plenty of pool time in. She was so excited to go swimming and play in the pool, only to for them to have it closed THE ENTIRE TIME. I bet my husband that they would open it when we went to check out, and wouldn't you guess when they decided to open the pool back up?

The service and our accessible room are ALWAYS outstanding. The measure of quality at this Hyatt place hotel is that they keep there personnel. We come here 2 to 3 times a year and always see staff who recognize us. Highly recommended.

Nice place and perfect location. Beds are uncomfortable though. We stayed two nights, but slept horribly. We sleep in a king size bed, but it look the size of a queen. Great Staff and location right next to theaters and eateries. Bed suck though.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. 2 restaurant is within walking distance, many others within a few minutes by car.
The hotel rooms are ok to good. Nothing is missing. Some are loud though and it's buzzing. Others are going well, though. The air conditioning/heating is installed in the window. That is, if you use them, the blower runs every few minutes.
I don't think breakfast is good. Scrambled eggs from the bag. You get fed up and you find something, but that's where my demands are higher.

Only was there for a short time but it's beautiful! Loved the apartment-style layout with a couch and room for us to visit with relatives!

I enjoyed the room, and the service was perfect. The free breakfast in the morning was amazimg, and I hope I stay here again.

I love this chain. I have stayed at several over the years. Always clean and comfy. This one in particular keeps their pool at an uncomfortably high temperature. Most children love that as do the elderly. But l expect to be refreshed from a swim. This pool is warmer than my bath in Michigan. Since the only reason we book this one is for an overnight with the grandkids so they can go swimming on their break from school, we will look elsewhere for this annual trip from now on. Otherwise an ok quiet stay.

Spacious room, comfortable bed. Great service from the staff. Food was pretty good too. The exercise room was adequate for cardio, wish they had a few dumbbells also though.

Hotel was clean, room was big and comfy. Provided a lot of comfort. Breakfast was okay, but overall good hotel to stay.

The rooms are very accommodating. They are spacious and provide flexibility for relaxation and home style living. If I could provide a single piece of advice, it would be to add a microwave in each room.

I loved the convenient room service availability till midnight. The food was delicious. The location was literally within walking distance of nearby banks and restaurants as well.

There was a shuttle bus from the venue we were at to the hotel. The bus driver was so funny and polite! The rooms were spacious and very modern. Breakfast in the morning was really good and was served within reasonable times.

Nice and quiet hotel. Decent breakfast in the morning. Room sizes are large and comfortable. Toilet paper wasn't too bad.

Just got back from an awesome 4 night stay at this hotel. My room was HUGE, the breakfast was good, and every staff member was super friendly. Have to give recognition to Anthony at the front desk, who went above and beyond for me when I was having difficulty with a transportation issue (not related to the hotel). He deserves to be employee of the month. I without a doubt will be staying here the next time I'm in Michigan (crossing fingers there's availability! ).

We had a great experience here! Loved the room, the service and the amenities. The pool was the perfect temperature for me. The breakfast is really good with a great selection and a really homey set up. They even have soft water in the shower! Definitely a top pick if you want a great place to stay! We were on the to floor. Very quiet and nice view. The surrounding area has so many options for dinner and shopping and a huge beautiful movie theatre within walking distance!

I stayed here for my wedding this past weekend and I am VERY pleased with this hotel. It was very clean, quick and friendly service, yummy breakfast, and free shuttle service. The staff who drove the shuttle was extremely funny, friendly, and personable. They were able to accommodate and meet all mine and my wedding party's needs as well.

It was a great stay, breakfast was 100%, pool room very inviting and exercise room could be a bit warmer but I and my family enjoyed our 2 day visit.

There is nothing more refreshing than coming to a hotel that feels like home after a long day of travel. Friendly staff, huge suits and great offerings such as free Wi-Fi and a breakfast. Only complaint is the "gym" online looked like a million bucks but it felt like a Walmart. 2 treadmills, 1 cross trainer and 1 bike.

I had stayed here for 5 Days. The service was Excellent. The room was "Great" and I have a very "High" expectations when it comes to service. And that "Expectation is "INCREASES" when I have my family with me. They were AWESOME. Housekeeping was Great! I would stay with them again.

Rooms are fine, TV selection is lacking in a big way (it seems like in an effort to get you to rent overpriced movies), and the continental breakfast is serviceable. Overall a clean, inoffensive hotel, though there's nothing to make it stand out from the rest.

As always my stay at the Hyatt Place was great. The room size, the free breakfast, and all the other amenities can't be beat for the price. It's close to a lot of places, so if you are visiting, there is no shortage of places to shop and eat. The beds were so comfortable that it made waking up difficult. Definitely a great place to stay.

This Hyatt Place was located by an AMC theater and plenty of places to eat. Location is awesome. The place was well kept and clean. Great crew also. Room was spacious with stand up shower and open floorplan.

I'm very fond of Hyatt in Livonia, and all other hyatt's I've stayed at. No matter why you're there or which one you go to, it's always a good experience. Rooms are exceptionally clean and large, they have good food served 24/7. And the service is always great for a reasonable price. Also has great amenities like a shuttle service. This review in particular is over the Hyatt, in Livonia Michigan, on the corner of 7 mile and Haggerty.

Awesome experience booking several rooms on the phone and then directly with the hotel after. Looking forward to our stay and hoping every request is honored. Hoping for a high floor with one of the 3 rooms upgraded to a suite.

The location is great, with easy access from I-275. The staff was fantastic, I was there for nearly 3 weeks and it felt like a 2nd home. The room was great, though the bathroom is dated. I've definitely had better complementary breakfast before. Overall a very good stay!

On June 4 of 2015 we had the privilege to spend the night here in Livonia. Staying in any Hyatt Place is like coming home. Friendly and courteous staff, nice and clean room with the comfy Hyatt Grand Bed® makes for optimum rest. Great breakfast and yes, as always the requested high floor for our Platinum Hyatt Card. Wi-Fi is super fast! One cannot go wrong with Hyatt. Mariette's Back to Basics.
