This place was garbage lady at the desk was rude to my husband, Paid for a Jacuzzi room which isn't really a Jacuzzi it is a bathtub with jets, let's not start with the fact how the pool was dirty and should of been cleaned when they closed the pool u would think they would clean it not close the pool at 9am and let's not even get at the fact my 3 children are in a room with a broken TV and I told them about it and they never came to even look at it. I don't recommend staying at this place period.

Checked in here as I made way to my room there were hookers in Hallway and people smoking weed. When I arrived to room it was freezing. The window was busted and broken open the room smelled like a lit cigarette and the bedding and floor was full of stains. When I left and went to check out (20) minutes after checking in the lady at desk did not listen to one complaint I had and said she wasn’t checking me out till next day. I have contacted the hotel itself as well as their corporate office and they refuse to make things right and refund me my money even when I have proof that I stayed in a different hotel miles away and I have bank records and itineraries to prove this.

Felt discrimination from the front desk when asked for things for my room, but seen the man at the desk give a caucasian lady everything she asked for.

Awful help desk. Customer service is awful, they only attend to white people. They discriminate against blacks!

I’ve stayed here before but on future trips to metro Detroit I don’t think I will come back to this hotel. I don’t feel comfortable staying at a place that doesn’t view the health and safety of its guests and it’s staff as a priority. The Coronavirus is still raging throughout Michigan and the US. No one except for one front desk worker during our two day stay wore a face mask. Workers behind the desk are in close contact with one another and without masks are jeopardizing their health and safety. There is a plexiglass shield up but it’s pretty useless if those same workers come and go from behind the plexiglass without a mask as well now jeopardizing my safety too. We had an issue with our TV and asked for assistance. We put our masks on and waited. The maskless gentleman working the front desk showed up to our room still without a mask on and proceeding to come on into our room. Guests were also largely without face coverings as well in the common areas. Now I know that it’s hard to regulate adult human behavior but not once did I hear anyone from the staff politely remind that masks are required in the common areas. There are three signs saying that masks are required on the sliding entrance doors but that’s it. Perhaps if the staff led by example and wore masks perhaps guests might wear them too. There is no cure for the Coronavirus. The state of Michigan requires masks to be worn indoors.

Dirty, hard beds, TV remote control doesn't work the tv, No phones are hooked up in the rooms. Pool water was cold and no Filters seem to be working. Huhhhhhh.

By far one of the nastiest Hotels I’ve stayed in. So many Bugs in the room… The room wasn’t clean at all. Woke up to a Big bug crawling was very uncomfortable!

Reserved two rooms in August with an $85.40 per night advertised price. (I have a screen print of the price from their website). We checked in late 9/13. On 9/14, I notice the room rate and talked to the night manager who proceeded to educate me the website price wa a suggested price for that time in August. However they charge current rate when you check in. I shared with her that was illegal. After her repeating herself three times I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told, NO, that is not possible. Again, I asked for her supervisors name and again denied. I then said I would search on line and go through Radisson Corp office. Then said her name was Sara and she would be working the following day. I talked to Sara on Sunday 9/15, she was very professional, apologize for the error and said she did not have security to correct the rate, however, her GM could but she needed to call her and get her log-in to adjust the price. Monday when checking out Sara was working and said she had not been able to reach the GM, apologized again for the error. She said we would check us out and close out the reservation and she would hold the ticket until she and the GM could correct the rate. Needless to say, NOTHING was done and billed what they wanted!
As a side note, be warned the room floor and walls are so thin, as the people above walked their room it echoed in mine, same experience in both rooms.
Whatever you do DO NOT STAY WITH THIS RADISSON!

I’ve stayed here 3 nights 2 being on Sunday and Monday and the other being on a Friday the Sunday was good the beds were nice and the staff were nice and polite we stayed the night there I also liked the extra space! The next day we went to the ford museum one of the staff drove us over there they actually have there own bus that can drop you off and pick you up at the ford museum for free. The breakfast is good then we stayed Monday night next morning we had breakfast there was two young girls one was like 4 and the other was like 6 and there was like a 1 and a half baby boy there. The family was Muslim I could tell by the woman. The 6 year old and. The 1 and a half year old were playing a game like how can scream the loudest probably and the 4 year old was telling her mom how was expose to be having a eye on all the kids was feeding the 4 year old like a baby! Like really then the mom finally told the kids to stop then she kept on feeding the 4 year old like a baby then the 6 year old was choking the baby then he screamed really really loud! It scared me even tho I was watching them then the mom turned around and kept a eye on the 6 and 1 year old then the 4 year old started screaming and crying because her mom was not feeding her like a baby.

The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. They kept the milk really cold which is a plus in my book. There was only one chair in the room. That means someone has to sit on the bed. We ask for an extra chair and they brought. Us a chair from the breakfast area. I would rather have two chairs than extra floor space.

I had a previously great experience at a country inn & suites in Ohio, so I was pleased to see there was one here in Dearborn. Check in time I believe is at 3pm. My partner and I arrived at 6pm, wanted to drop our things off because we were rushing to get to a baseball game on time. There was another couple that came in after us. While checking in, the worker says there are no rooms clean for us — AT 6 PM — and that we have to wait about 15 minutes. Great. Okay. The couple that came after us who booked the SAME type of room I did, got their room keys and went up. No apologies were given to us. The worker had already charged me while we had to wait… And wait… And when asked if the room was ready yet, they said almost and still hadn't given our keys. We walked out saying we didn't have time to wait around for a room. The workers never apologized, never offered us any sort of compensation. Very very poor customer service. When coming back to hotel from baseball game at about 11pm, our room was FINALLY ready. Only to notice that the shower head was flopped over and did not stay up straight. Thank goodness we were only staying one night. Unfortunately, the next time I come to visit Detroit, I will most definitely not be staying here.

Staff was pleasant, common areas were comfortable and clean. The room smelled damp, it I think the fridge was malfunctioning and leaking into the carpet. The smell was not noticable after a few minutes. The toilet was clogged. The bottom drawer of the dresser still had dirty clothes from a previous customer. Other than that, the room and bed was perfectly clean. The staff was quick and courteous to address my complaints. This would be a 1 star review due to the condition of the room but the friendly staff made up for it.

The room is very clean but the hall smells like weed. Front desk workers have been very friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't far from Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, and the Ford factory. The location is really nice because it's fairly easy to get to and from nearby restaurants. Definitely would recommend.

Traveled to Detroit for a work related project. Comfortable rooms, good amenities; I can't rate the breakfast, though, as I didn't have time to try it. Only issue I encountered stemmed from booking 3 different rooms on the same credit card, which resulted in some confusion at the front desk. Staff were able to quickly resolve the issue though, and after that the stay was good.

Convenient location to Greenfield Village, however the front desk staff at check in was beyond rude! There were two ladies at the desk, the one was so rude and yelled at us before we had even said anything. They don't tell you that there is a 25.00 deposit for some kind of cleaning of the room. They also make you sign a waiver that you will not have a party in the room. Any time I would ask a question about what I was being asked to sign she got very snippy and aggravated with us. Honestly, she was not only rude to us as the guests, but also to the other lady she was working with behind the desk. The rest of the staff seemed pleasant enough, except for one of the cleaning staff who was very abrupt when we witnessed a child trying to get on the elevator while she was already on there with her cart. Clean enough, however we did not get towels replaced, toilet paper replaced or trash cans emptied one day out of two despite asking for it. Breakfast was ok, had a hard time getting coffee as it was always empty due to large groups of people staying there. Staff may have had a hard time keeping up with the demand.

First let me say, I've never had a bad experience at the many different Country Inn and Suites locations at which I've stayed. The pool was nice and warm and we had it to ourselves. Our room was pretty clean, except for a slightly sticky nightstand and a random pillow on the floor behind a chair in the corner. No big deal (to me) at all. Our in-room hot tub appeared spotless except for 2 drops of a liquid that appeared to be water. I expect at least a stray hair or two, but it looked perfect. This was not my first rodeo with an in-room hot tub, so I filled it above the jets with hot water. Detroit water is exceptional and crystal clear. I ran the jets for 20 minutes and it turned medium to dark brown. I drained it and wiped the brown ring with a white towel and saved it for the manager. My wife and I were undressed at the end of the day and just wanted to soak. I didn't notify staff at the time because it had been a long day. We used the tub several times for 2 days without another problem. I brought it to the manager Tony's attention very discreetly after checkout, complete with photos. His response was that their policy is to offer a guest nothing in this situation. 4 stars for a beautiful new facility — 2 stars for Management's response to this issue that was reported privately. Please don't hesitate to stay at another Country Inn and Suites.

Such a crappy hotel. It’s a painted pig. The house keeping sucks and they rummage through your stuff. They leave your door open all day. The walls are dirty and thin. They left food from the last person in the refrigerator. The floors are dirty. There was gum on the headboard. I would not stay here if I had a choice.

This place sucks. They stole my money. They stole $200 out of my wallet in my locked room. They went threw my makeup. They touched everything and THEY STOLE MY MONEY. There TVs are tiny. Wi-Fi sucks. Don’t come here on your free will.

Features spacious rooms, Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, several outlets, and windows that open! Delicious hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, hash, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc (much more than a continental breakfast), indoor pool, washing machine and dryers and a mini convenience store next to the front desk with very reasonablely priced snacks and drinks.

I had an upgrade and the room is a nice size. Price is reasonable considering there is a big convention in town and most more affordable hotels are sold out.

I arrived here on late Thursday afternoon frustrated and Ms Casey calmed my spirit. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and offered any type of assistance that I needed to make my stay comfortable. I am a crew member she offered what type of procedures I would need in order to have USPS pick up my packages and ways to travel to the airport due to no shuttle service provided. Ms Lina was efficient in assessing my necessary documents for my shipment and very courteous. Mr Robert, my muscles. He assisted with my packages and helped with my 5 heavy luggage. He's exceptionally knowledgeable of the services available to the guests. He spoke softly, but his actions to accommodate me was impressive. This is my 1st stay. They made my stay warm and very welcoming. I look forward to returning to Country Inn Suites again. Thank you all soooo much! May God continue to bless you with prosperity and good health for you and yours. Again, thank you!

Here on business we got to the hotel late at night and at the counter was a very sweet pregnant lady who was very happy to see us. She was very helpful, rooms were really nice and clean overall will recommend this hotel again.

Clean, nice hotel at a great price! Staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast buffet gives plenty of choices.

The hotel is fine. Cleanliness could be better in the rooms. Breakfast included in room rates. Its a buffet style and is typical. Workout room and pool inside building. One elevator, can be slow at times. Free cookies at front desk on weekdays. There are 2 computers free of use and printing service. Parking on site free of charge.

We enjoyed the suite room. Perfect for a family of 5. It was clear they didn't do a thorough cleaning from the previous guests though. There was tape all of the walls from a party and a dirty sheet in the fold out couch.

It was a fine hotel. Great breakfast. I only wish the pool had water in it. The kids were really disappointed.

Rooms are nice, but the pillows are super soft (glad we bring our own). Breakfast is really good and the staff is friendly. Only issue is some of the guests are noisy and the walls aren't very thick.

Where do I start? First of all they want a $150 deposit which is way more than I've ever had to pay for a deposit. Then we walk into our room to see a huge stain on the carpet. One of the switches in the bathroom didn't work. Okay that's fine. But eventually we had to start forcing open the doors of the building. The guy at the front desk stood there helping a customer inside the building instead of helping us outside in the cold. They lock the doors at 12 so you have to be buzzed in. The curtains on their window don't close so the flood lights from planet fitness' parking lot were shining in my eyes all night. Walls are so thin you can hear everyone else walking and moving around all night. We paid too much for what we got. We should have went to holiday inn.

First time being here, customer service is very sketchy well I shouldn’t say that, the night guy at front desk is very sketchy… door at main entrance didn’t open instead of helping a customer in 5 degree weather he stood helping a front desk customer in a heated building. Basically made me force the sliding door open. Walked in the room and big red stain on the floor first thing I see. Walls are thin you can hear everything. And the deposit is 150. The price of the room does not match the establishment. Definitely only a 50$ a room place.

Totally fantastic experience from the start; my flight landed a bit later than expected, and the manager, Tony, himself drove to the airport to pick me up. I was inexplicably (but happily! ) upgraded to a beautiful King Jacuzzi suite, which was impeccably clean and extremely spacious. Breakfast is satisfying and plentiful (I mostly only care about coffee in the morning anyway, so I'm easy to please! ). I had packages waiting for me at the hotel, and they graciously allowed me to leave my return shipments there for UPS pickup. All together, it was an extremely pleasant stay, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Staff is very friendly, as well! Patricia, the head housekeeper, drove me to back to the airport and is a total doll.

Located quite close to the Henry Ford Museum, this hotel offers clean rooms and friendly staff. It has Wi-Fi and breakfast (with eggs, sausages, cereal, etc. ) for free. We didn't use the pool or the gym, but I found them suitable. We didn't hear much noise in the room during our stay.

Stayed here recently for a get away for my husband and I. Jacuzzi sweet was nice. Reasonably priced. Walls are thin. You can hear bumping upstairs and girls in dining area talking loudly all night. No bed bugs. Nice heated pool so you can swim even when it's cold outside. House keeper walked in on us before check out time. Not bad.

I stayed here for work one night, and one night only! First, I asked for an extra pillow for the pull out couch, after waiting in the lobby for 10 minutes or so listening to wild and loud people (not children) running up and down the halls and acting like fools around 11pm, and listening to the phone ring with noise complaints, I was informed they didnt have any pillows? Seriously? A Newer hotel like this does not have an extra pillow? well ok, not a huge deal… So I finally get into bed around 12am, as I expected, the wild pack of individuals have migrated up stairs apparently right above my bed! This is over an hour after I witnessed the first noise complaint call to downstairs desk from another unhappy PAYING customer (as I was waiting for my non existent pillow). It sounded like a heard of animals jumping and running upstairs… I finally managed to pass out after about another hour of listening to hooves stomping. Still curious how a large hotel like this will allow stuff like that to happen for several hours with multiple complaints… The shower was never out, only had Luke Warm water. The breakfast was horrible, the eggs were watery, potatoes were cold. The recent snow a few days earlier left the parking lot icy and the hotel didn't have any snow removal Done which led to slush everywhere u step and drive and made it unsafe to walk through the parking lot. I decided to take the kids down to the pool the next morning before I left.

Feb 28th meeting room was dirty cookies on the floor coffee cups on counter garbage in the garbage can and no tables out room was filled with chairs. Told the man at the desk I needed tables and the room to be cleaned up he stated he was unaware the room was being used and said he would see what he could do 20min pass I go back it is a different man up there. I tell him my party starts at 4pm I need the room cleaned up and tables so we can set up and asked him if anyone told him that. He states he just came onto shift he would see what he could do. My people find tables and stacked chairs in the storage closets in the room we begin throwing garbage away stacking the chairs and pulling tables 345pm I go back up there and tell him my party starts in 15min it has been 45 since I've asked for help that I am 9months pregnant and that I could get hurt doing it myself and or someone I am with, that he needs to get someone back there to help us and clean the room and that I have done most of the work. He gets rude and tells me he has no extra staff and that he can't go back there and do the front desk at the same time, after he took care of the 3people in line he would be back there to do it himself. I reminded him again my guest would be arriving in less than 15min now and I needed assistance immediately and asked to speak to a manager.

This nasty has hotel has BED BUGS. The manager refused to refund my $100 room fee as well as my $100 deposit back. My kids got ate up and they didn't even care. UNTIL I called the police then my money was immediately returned smh. I stayed here before and it was a really nice experience. This time was a complete nightmare and I'll never stay here again. That had no sympathy for my crying and in pain babies.

If I could give less than one star I would. I didnt even get to the hotel before I knew I never wanted to book here again. I tried to extend my reservation and the man that answered at the front desk was so rude! He wouldnt listen to anything I was saying, and he tried to overcharge me twice, and he kept changing my reservation without telling me what he was actually doing, and when I finally realized he was overcharging me, he told me to pay it or cancel completely. I told him I didnt think I could find another hotel in time and he just said "okay" and hung up on me! I tried to call back to demand a manager but there was no answer. I sent an email to comaplain, but I didnt hear back that way, so I called and they said theyd call me right back, but after an hour of waiting I had to call back. They said sorry, but I found out the guy that hung up on me changed my reservation and JACKED my price. I told them I was upset and "sorry" wasnt enough but they didnt do anything to help, so I canceled my booking.

Service was solid and we had everything we needed. We were able to check in an hour early which helped us out considerably. We were in town in a large group and there were some people in the lobby with us that apparently we're not guests. The staff handled the situation, but if this is the kind of thing that would bother you it should be considered. Our room was clean.

The check-in process was a bit lengthy because I was part of a group, and the counter was having issues with their internet connection. After that got sorted out, the rest of the stay was good. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The continental breakfast was decent, with varying hot meals each day, and a pretty wide selection.

The rooms were very clean and nice. Staff was friendly.

Norma, working in the dining area, is fantastic. She gets 5/5. She was so sweet to our large family down at dinner. We have 12 of us here and once the dinner hours were over she offered us the leftovers to take up to our rooms. She was SO nice! Very helpful even with the chaos of the crowd as everyone shuffled in for pizza dinner tonight. If this were a restaurant, I would come in just for her service. She really made this stay much better than it could have been. It's nice to have someone that cares. SHE JUST BROUGHT US COOKIES! She actually had already given cookies to a cousin of mine and didn't even know he was part of our party. She's lovely. Can't wait for tomorrow! Cons of our stay: Everything in our room was extremely loud? Very creaky beds, the bathroom door woke people up in the night, and the floor even made noise. I don't quite understand it. The elevator is ridiculous… It's almost like a toy. It's very slow and small. The luggage carts can barely fit in the doors — especially with luggage actually on them. If it wasn't a chore to go up the stairs… The shower temp controls were a bit off but once I figured it out, it was wonderful. Bathtub is huge! Bath>shower here. My mom just had to clean out our AC unit herself because it was so packed and disgusting that our room wasn't being cooled down. Highest fan setting. Coldest temp. Nothing. The dryers SUCK. Clothes wash well but have to essentially be air dried to wear them tomorrow.

At the time of checkout, I had an issue with one of the nightly rates. The front desk clerk was swamped, the lobby was chaotic, and she stated there was nothing she could do. She gave me her managers business card and asked me to call Sam Hamdan later in the day. I felt comfortable and confident in doing so because CI has ALWAYS provided a quality hotel, great customer service, competitive rates, etc. I can honestly say I have never had any issues with room rates nor club carlson. However, I called Sam Hamdan and from the start he was rude and was literally sighing as if I was bothering him. He accused me of dropping the ball and not catching the error at check in. I stated the only discussed at check in was me giving my cc and giving my vehicle info and signing off on the form the terms of the hotel. He continuosly kept mispelling my name and kept on saying I booked online when I in fact booked via the number for Club Carlson. I stated I booked it about a few months ago, he CORRECTED me and said "maam you booked this 5/29/15 so thats not months ago"! He accused me of "dragging out the story of my reservation when he had a 30second solution". He said I "needed to stop talking" even though he would ask me questions in regards to my reservation, etc. In the end he continued with his verbal abuse and stated "he could tell what type of class of people I am" and that "therewas nothing he could do and that I needed to go online where I made the reservation to reduce my rate".

Outstanding! clean as a whistle; both pool and room! excellent service, from friendly staff. Very accommodating, letting us check in early and check out late. Delicious breakfast (waffle lover)! totally going back again some time soon.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Country Inn and Suites late May early June and it was a very pleasant experience. The Queen Double Suite was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We were in town for visitations with my two granddaughters and the hotel was very accommidating. The staff was very pleasant and we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very good experience.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and relaxing pool. Definitely will stay here again if I'm ever back in the area.

Find another hotel! Run! Fast! This place advertises a hot breakfast but they can only serve that when they pass their health inspection. We were forced to stay there recently due to our involvement in an event. It happened to be during a time when they did not pass a health inspection. Our reservations were made weeks in advance, we even had to add another night the week prior to our stay, and at no time did anyone mention the failed health inspection. We were not told about it at check in either. They posted a sign in the morning when we asked about the breakfast. The management handled it terribly (or rather did NOT handle it)! We were told that a refund would be issued. The manager was nowhere to be found when we checked out. We called and emailed and it took 2 weeks to even get a response. Of course, the response was a refusal to refund anything. (That 'express checkout' is pretty convenient, isn't it? ) On top of it all, we were ridiculously overcharged because of our involvement with the event. We will NEVER stay there again. Find another hotel. There are PLENTY of responsible places to stay in the area. This is NOT one of them! Besides, who knows when they will fail another health inspection.

I had my mother's family stay here just recently for my sister's wedding. We booked 3 rooms and were given 3 key cards. When they checked out, we were given the paperwork and breakdown of charges. Our bill was supposed to total $1200 but we noticed the total as being $1800. We then noticed that a fourth room was booked which was the reason for the charge. My father went to the hotel and asked why there was an extra $600 charge. The manager who booked the rooms for us had said that there is nothing that he can do and that my father had to call American Express. My father has already informed American Express of the fraudulent charge. It is extremely unfortunate that the manager who booked the rooms is not going to accept accountability for his error. We will not be using this hotel again because of our dispute. I would highly advise anyone else to look at other hotels instead of staying here just to avoid the risk of over-charge. If someone contacts us from the hotel to correct the situation, I will update this review to reflect the outcome.

I have been a frequent to this hotel this year. There have been numerous cases of mismanagement, which I have overlooked for the good value I was getting. This week, however, I checked my credit card transactions and noticed two charges from this hotel for the last few days. I only stayed once over the last couple of weeks. I went in to check on the situation; they said I stayed two nights, 17th and 18th, and hence the two charges. I said I only stayed the night of 17th, and they said they had my signature and suggested I should dispute with my credit card company. This hit me as strange; after all I am a frequent and there should be a level of trust. I asked to see the signatures. They pulled the papers and showed me two papers with my signatures for two different rooms, both carrying my signature and initials, one in ink and one copied, and both looking identical except for the date block. Also, despite being consecutive nights, there were two bills and they were for two different rooms. I pointed out that the two signatures and initials are identical, and the manager Dave and the clerk made an excuse of bad eye-sight. Now this is no longer mismanagement; it is fraud. I have since called my credit card company and started a dispute, cancelled my credit card and ordered a replacement, and informed the Country Inn head-quarters to launch an investigation. I check my credit card statement with rigor, not sure everyone else does.

Do not stay in this hotel. They will quote you one price for a room and they will charge you a different price. Really bad experience.

Stayed here 3/7-3/9. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very clean. Hot breakfast is also a bonus. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, yogurt, bagels etc. Will be staying here again.

Best stay ever. The young lady at the front desk (Michelle #2) was amazing. She help me with attractions in the area and was just as nice as sbe could be. I definitely recommend this hotel not only because it is clean as a whistle, but the staff is very nice as well.
