Clean, huge suites, comfortable beds, excellent blackout blinds, super conveniently located walking distance to restaurant and Walmart and dollarama. Located approximately a half hour from Detroit, auburn outlet, marine city, port Huron. So convenient! Love our IHG rewards and are now holiday inn regulars everywhere!

Our experience we had at your location at 45805 Marketplace Blvd, New Baltimore, MI 48051 was absolutely horrible. Myself and several others had booked rooms to stay at your facility for a family wedding that was happening near by. The issues started off last week when I called to confirm the reservation because I never received a confirmation when I reserved the room in early June/end of may. I was first told that they could not find my reservation and also they did not know of a wedding block that my family had gotten for this past weekend. They had told me that the rooms were all booked up at the time. After some time and deep digging the girl finally found the reservation and found that the male that took my reservation had miss spelled my last name. I had reserved 2 king rooms. Fast Forward to Saturday morning. My wife's aunt called to confirm their reservation and was told everything was good to go. Upon arriving to the hotel at 2pm, I went into see if we could check in early to start getting ready for the 4:30pm ceremony. I was promptly told by the female at the desk and I quote " I'm sorry I was supposed to call you and tell you that we didnt have a room for you because we over booked". This was at 2pm and check is 3pm. We drove 3+hours to get there. After some very stern words with the female, she also alluded that she was having issues getting others rooms from the wedding as well.

Hotel was under renovations, drywall everywhere… Day 2 no house keeping, when I called for fresh towels, was told they don’t have any. Oh, spoke to mgr today, because we were given receipt that had a lower amount then we were charged… was told we shouldn’t have received it at all.

The hotel was under construction and when I checked in at 5:00 PM they were bearing on the walls and floor in the room above me. I called the front desk and they couldn’t move me but said they were only allowed to work until 6:00. At 6:30 they were still beating in the walls. I was told they were “finishing up” at 8:00 I checked out and went to the new Fairfield Inn across the street because they were STILL beating in the walls. As a Spire Elite member this is unacceptable for an IHG property!

Convenient. Consistent is getting a little tired but were advised they are working through upgrades throughout.

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in in a very long time. I feel like I am in a Red Roof Inn in Newark NJ right now. Kids running up and down the halls screaming since I arrived 3 days ago and management does nothing about it. I went to the front desk to ask for a room change to an area away from these freaks but that can't happen for whatever reason. Do yourself a favor — stay at the Fairfield Inn across the street. Holiday Inn is not what it used to be by any means.

This hotel is decent for the location. The pool area needs some love and at first I was checked into a room that wasn't made. Other than that I've had a pleasant stay, and the bed is really comfortable!

Very convenient location, close to family and freeways. Always stay here when in the area. Always friendly staff and very nice complimentary breakfast.

Incredibly clean and spacious rooms with a mini fridge and microwave included. Hotel is conveniently located and had a delicious breakfast buffet with many choices. All of the staff from the front desk to room service were some of the friendliest and most helpful we've ever experienced. We also returned late from a wedding, and they allowed our kids to swim a bit later after closing to ensure we had a wonderful time. Very impressed and highly recommend!

I just recently blocked off and booked ten rooms for my wedding at this hotel. It was the worst customer service and organization I have ever received from a hotel. Every time one of my friends or family members went to reserve a room they were hung up on more than once, told there is no rooms for weddings blocked off, or that they have no idea what the person was talking about. I had an out of town guest go to check into their room around 4 PM (being told check in was at 3pm) and her room wasn't ready. Once she got her room the refrigerator wasn't working she paid about 70 dollars more for a suite and the only difference between a suite and a standard room is a sink and a tub. Not worth the price at all. The day of my wedding I was told that the groom and I didn't have a room at all and that it has been cancelled. Obviously that was the NOT the case. The person working at the hotel then says it was the grooms fault he booked the room for the day before. I check our confirming email from the hotel and he booked it for the correct day it was in fact the hotels error. They were sold out so they had no room to give us even though it was their error. The grooms mother happened to be in line when all of this happened and ended up giving us her room and she had to stay at a hotel across the street. One of my bridesmaid was charged twice for her room. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know.

We just stayed there, after looking for our brother in law for 10 years after he went missing! Nice to get rest in a hotel that was clean, new beds. Breakfast was amazing. Most of all I want to mention the nice young man at the front desk, he truly was the most caring man and amazing at customer service. You don’t get the too often even stopped and talked on his way out after his shift. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and relaxing… sandy.

Room was very nice and breakfast was decent. Only issue I had was that the water pressure in the sink was really weak and the tub didn't drain very quickly.

Check in process was ridiculous. As a member, we arrived 15 minutes before the 3pm check-in. And the front desk made a horrible deal about it. Our hotel room has stained floors, the bedding in the sofa bed bag has a nasty brown, and the bathroom could be cleaner. Plus we asked for a complimentary toothbrush that never got delivered.

This must be the very low end of the Holiday Inn offerings. Not at all what I'm used to for a Holiday Inn, but it was priced lower than usual, so now that makes more sense. The internet is dreadfully slow, like can barely use the internet and don't even think of trying to stream or Skype. If you rely on the Internet to work, don't stay here, period. Starting off on the wrong foot, you're greeted by a huge rug heavily stained with salt… in June. Would it be that hard to clean it? Rooms were okay. Kind of weird to have a king room with nothing but a little chair in the corner and a bunch of empty floor space where a 2nd bed or a couch + end table would normally be). On a brighter note, if you have a pet elephant, there's plenty of room for him to lay down and sleep in this space. My office chair was so squeaky I couldn't even stand to sit in it. I asked them to replace it and they told me they would have maintenance look at it. Still squeaky the next day. Ugh. Bed is comfortable and sheets are soft. Room overall is fine except the stains on the carpet. The A/C apparently shuts off when I'm gone during the day because it was hot when I got to the room and the A/C started to run when I entered the room.

The guy at front desk was Great while driving to hotel from Atlanta calling in to make reservations. Once I arrived, he was a great welcome getting me a nice room and made me happy. Room was perfect! Stayed on June 3 2018. Thanks Again! Bob O.

I lived in the area for many years and when I come back to visit friends and family this is where I stay, The rooms are clean, well lit and spacious without being too big. Lots of amenities in the hotel and the area in general. I do think the rooms are a little overpriced for the area, but then again there is not that much competition around. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, especially when Priceline hosed up a reservation on me. They still gave me the deep-discount price even though they didn't have to. A good place to stay if its overnight or for a week.

Two night stay. Clean, large room. Small but good gym and pool. Nice area north of Detroit. Can walk to restaurants and stores. Only issue was the batty internet access. Had to log in every use phone and laptop.

My check-in service was superb! Friendly and helpful. Perfect! Room is perfect for my needs, clean and pest free. Bed is perfect and a main reason I choose this chain. Phone call to check room after I arrived. So far, so good.

Hotel was nice by the most part. Was very loud though, dryer was broken almost the whole time I was there! At first the counter staff was nice, took great care of me, anything I needed, he had it taken care of! Then they switched staff and the new people then were rude and treated us like every time we needed something, it was an inconvenience! Worried more about how much they charge you a night then taking care of customers!

Worst hotel experience in my life and I go to a lot of hotels. First night I check in, they give me a room that was already occupied. The second night I returned after a 18hour day, I found my room keys didn't work. When I went to speak with the desk clerk, they said that there must have been a mixup on the rooms and it was checked out to someone else. I asked where my clothes were and he wasn't sure. He then had to call his manager to find my clothes, which had been placed in a plastic garbage sack and moved to the lost and found. In side the bag there was a with a note saying they were found in a room. After this 30minute process, they proceeded to check me back into the same room they said they had already book to someone else in. The manager couldn't be bothered and no compensation for my troubles was offered. Not sure what is going on at this hotel but I would not recommend it for anyone. Edit: on top of all that, when I opened the bag of clothes, half of my belongings where not there. So I had to called down to have them locate them @ 11pm and it took almost a half hour to bring them to me. I have a 6:30am meeting in the morning and I just wanted to go to bed and sleep.

Decent enough place. Pool area is a little loud but it was actually pretty decent as far as holiday inn expresses go… I would stay there again…

Cons: The internet is pretty bad. They have 1 old washer and 1 dryer that doesn't work. Pros: The hotel is overall great though. Great breakfast, great area (in walking distance from McDonalds, Walmart and other shops) and even a pretty good indoor pool and workout room. The rooms are also clean and the staff is very friendly.

This is a nice Holiday Inn Express location. The rooms themselves have been well cared for and although could use a little updating, you wouldn't really know unless you spent a lot of time at other newer locations. The hotel was able to upgrade me to a hot tub room for free as a Spire member, and I also received bonus points for being the Spire member of the day. That was nice as I have never been the member of the day. The pool is indoors which is nice as during my visit the weather was cold. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean and well maintained. I also noticed that the cinnamon rolls are better at this location than any other Holiday Inn Express location I have ever stayed at. I'm not sure why, but it was a nice change.

Extremely nice staff, tasty (more than continental) breakfast, comfy clean room. Would definitely recommend.

Good value. Clean facility. One problem we had, we came in late the night that we stayed and there were no parking spots left for us.

You can hear footsteps above you like thunder. Air conditioner is loud. Wireless internet seems to be a bit flaky, I recommend plugging into the wall. Must wait for front desk staff to come out from the back room, no bell at the front desk. Cleaning staff has left the drapes completely open for me once allowing anyone walking by to see my stuff in the room.

Everything was fine. Shower water pressure started low but improved.

A nice hotel with great staff and common amenities. On marketplace blvd. Between hall and gratiot. Always clean. I'm pretty sure it's 3 floors.

Way too expensive over $150 a night. Room wasn't all that clean. Pair of socks on the floor from the previous guest. I wouldn't go the again. Because there's a better hotel up the road for less than $100

Everyone is super nice that works there. Switched room that was too noisy. Wish there was a bigger work out room. Will stay again.

Had to stay for around a month. Sue, Jessica and Jordan are phenomenal! Polite, friendly, very helpful. My 10 year old was treated very well, she also loves the named above. I gave 4 stars/ only because I would add more to breakfast. Its great, I would suggest, French toast, waffles and some sort of potatoes. Also pop corn and hot cocoa in rooms. (Im a transport business owner/ most had what I listed)

I had visited this hotel with my girlfriend to give a birthday gift to get cousin, who was staying overnight with a couple of friends as a birthday gift from her parents. I can say that this hotel is maintained quite well as it is easily visible from the clean cut landscaping as well as the cleanliness of the interior and it's decor. Although u I was not a guest myself at this hotel, it has made its way onto my list of possible escapes.

Third floor room with king size bed, large flat screen tv, microwave, mini fridge, and 1 bathroom. Nice and clean.

Room was pretty standard, fridge and microwave, decent bed and tv. Get a room on the top floor though because I could hear everything in the room above me. Breakfast was pretty good.

Nice room it was quite and comfortable the Wi-Fi sucked but they serve bacon with breakfast!

The manager was great. The breakfast is standard. Like all the other reviews on here I have to say that this was the loudest hotel ive ever stayed in. The walls are like tissue paper and the floor was creaky, so I tried to walk as quietly as possible to not disturb the person below me. Its in a decent location for food and close to the highway.

I must have ran into some out of town group party going during my stay. It was about 25 people altogether. I could hear kids running down the halls screaming all night. I heard stomping as the kids ran down the hallways playing some kind of game. The same group was lined up for the breakfast the next day making it hard to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. I don't have anything against kids but these kids were jumping off the walls while parents just sat back and watch. The front desk didn't really take it too seriously. I was glad I checked out the next day. The hotel it's self is actually nice inside. Walls are paper thin and the Internet is slow. The pool and workout rooms standard.

Last Month in February my family and I had the unfortunate luck of our home getting flooded and we would have to reside in an hotel for a few weeks. We had the task of finding a hotel that was near work and home and that would accommediate a family of 4. Since I am Priority Club member I was able locate the Holiday Inn Express and I am happy I did. I was greeted by Walter and he was quite helpful in finding a room that would be comfortable for our extended stay. My family and I have been there for over a month and the whole staff and very nice and helpful. The breakfast is very fresh and the pancakes are awesome. I want to thank the entire staff especially Walter and Stephanie for making our stay a wonderful one.
