Awful! First night the people next to room 306 were being so loud for 2 hours straight that I had to call the front desk at midnight. They would not stop running around and let their kids scream they heads off. The second night at 4am there was someone banging on the doors yelling “let me in bro” waking up everyone. They offered for me to switch rooms and supposedly the manager called me while I wasn’t in the room instead of calling my cell. The next morning the toilet was leaking water all over. It was running the entire time before it leaked. The hair dryer was coming off the wall. It’s my last night finally and when I tried to get the new room the front desk lady was rude like oh yea it’s my fault idiots. So now we move rooms on the last night and it smells so bad like ammonia I can’t even breathe. Worst of the worst, horrible, I will never stay here again. You have all been warned!

I stayed at the Quality Inn last night, for one night. Upon checking in I noticed that the clerk was not wearing a mask. Then at check out,, a different clerk wasn't a mask either. Which I thought was required by state order. Then this morning when we were waking up my 2 year old daughter found a pill laying on the floor next to the base of the bed between the 2 beds. So I knocked it out of her hand as she was trying to out it in her mouth. When I was down on the floor trying to figure out what it was I looked nexted to the night stand between the two beds and saw a black round ribbed object which in my option looks like a male sex toy ring. It is very obvious that this room was not vacuumed/cleaned properly! And now, with the pandemic going on, I am scared/nervous about what was on all the surfaces that my kids were touching in the room and around the hotel. I would expect in our current situation that things would of been extra clean and I am highly upset that your company is not taking it serious. Not to mention, had that pill that was in the floor been consumed by my 2 year old, could of landed us in the hospital.

They def have bedbugs and it’s def nt where u wanna stay. I knew it wasn’t rite when I walked in.

Paid my deposit with cash $100 they gave me $10 back in the morning they said the phone was damaged every hotel room I go in I put up the coffee maker and telephone because I have a child this Indian scum pedophile looking dot head should not be in charge of people or anything to do at that place had to call the police to even get $10 back what a f****** scam.

First room didn’t have working heat/cooling. Got a new room (108) and there was a damp towel in the bathroom, poop stains on the toilet, stains on the pillow cases, blood stains on the sheet and they stunk.

Very nice place to stay. Reception was warn and friendly. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best ever.

The location was conveniently located by freeways. It did have free breakfast that had a variety of options. The check in/out process was smooth. Our room had some updates for the decor. The cooling of the room was less than ideal. The room held a good amount of moisture in the air being on the first floor.

The rooms was clean, breakfast was good and I was able to get a cup of tea to drink before bed. Sadly, my neighbors wife spent the night yelling at her husband. I understand they can't do much but about it. I asked twice to move rooms and both times was told no. They don't care if you get any sleep I'm not upset at the lack of consideration from the drunk couple. I'm upset at the fact that I was told twice that I could not move. I asked at night and in the morning. They just said, call the front desk when it happens again, which the first call only bought it from a ten to a five. Police is your better option if you want to sleep.

We stayed here august 10 2018. I booked the room back in March. I called the front desk to book the room due to wanting adjoining rooms. When booking I was told they had adjoining rooms 1 with a king and the other with 2 queen beds which was perfect for me, my boyfriend, and 2 guy friends. We were going to see the skynyrd concert that night which is why I booked so far in advance also. so we show up on the 10th at 3pm, check in time. And get told our rooms may not be clean b…ut to go down and check and if not come back to the desk… no big deal we were dropping our clothes off then heading to dte. We go into our rooms and our friends come and tell us they only have 1 bed… so I grab my stuff and go down to the front desk… the man working says he has no rooms with 2 beds left and that he can bring a roll away bed. I politely told him no that will not work I booked this months ago and was told my reservation was set… at this time another group came down who checked in right before us saying they went to their room and people were already in there! the best they were able to do was move my friends to another room on another floor no way would be able to get more rooms at another hotel the day of the concert! which is why I booked so far ahead to be sure I got what I wanted I will never stay here again. You need to get your booking system better and when you screw up you should be crediting money back! I will also tell everyone to never stay here.

This is a no frills hotel but very clean and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was great. All in all a great value!

Our stay was tainted by a bad check in experience. When we reserved our room online it said check in was at 3pm. We did not arrive until almost 6pm and we're told they only had one clean room and it was on the first floor, which we did not want. They gave no explanation as to why the rooms were not clean and would not give us a time frame. All they said was that they would call when a room was ready which they did not do. We left and called an hour later and our room was ready. Everything went well after we got to our room. It was clean and nice and their breakfast was good.

Great value for your money. Clean room with comfy beds topped my the items during our stay. Large, well kept hotel with all the basic bells and whistles. We would stay here again!

Staff was friendly, and quick. The room was clean, and spacious. The only note I would make is that there is no hot tub, and I couldn't find that information out easily prior to booking.

This the place well but there are no laundry facilities for guests.

Checked in around midnight, Christian was very kind and made the process comfortable. Our room was clean with a good temperature, nice sized TV and a nice mini fridge. Has a nice breakfast area I’m excited to try in the morning. Very very nice place for the price, I’ll definitely be staying again. :-)

Clean, comfortable, amazingly friendly staff, and all at a great price! What more could you want? The breakfast was actually pretty good with a good selection and the coffee was better than some coffee shops! Freddy checked us in and was very friendly, funny, and helpful! I hope he likes the whiskey I recommended. I would definitely recommend and stay here again, plus it's only 10 minutes away from Great Lakes Crossing.

Very nice room, decently priced, very comfy bed. I only stayed one night but was a wonderful sleep. Only thing is that the heater/AC would stay on all night. When it was under the asked temperature it would turn the heat on until it was above the asked temperature then it would turn on the air conditioning until it was under the asked temperature back and forth if left on. When we got tired of it we turned it off but needed to turn it back on half way through the night because it got cold.

Two girls at the front desk were very rude. I seen a price online so I just walked in. They gave me a higher price and when I told them that I seen online for cheaper. She proceeded to tell me what you got to book it online. I'm sorry where did customer service go? I was in the hotel business for over 20 years. You don't send customers back out the door you give them that $10 or $15 off that was cheaper online. Then we come up to the room the pillowcases are stained like crazy. And the room has a funky smell to it. There's no usb chargers in the room. Not a very good hotel do not recommend at all!

I wish I could leave a No star review. Paid for a King bed room because me and the Mrs have one at home. Get to our room and the heater/furnace does work and it’s freezing. Call to the front desk and they decided to change our rooms to one down the hall. A double queen. So we lost bed and room space in exchange for a second useless bed. While changing our rooms they didn’t complete the task in their system. So around 1am they came knocking on our door waking us up to check on us. Then proceeded to do the same thing at 6am. Then went on to call us at 7am to make sure we were in our room and not the original king bed they switched us out of. Check out is at 12pm why did house keeping come at 9:50am as well as 11:30? The entire experience was horrendous and I (a frequent hotel stayer) will NEVER use this hotel or any Quality Inn EVER again! You’ve lost my business like I lost my sleep! At their front desk they boast about a 9.2 rating out of 10. I can guarantee it’s the hotel staff and paid reviews because they place was atrocious!

My husband had booked a room to stay overnight to celebrate Valentine's day. The room we received had an awesome jetted tub, and huge king sized bed. Everyone who worked there were a joy, and the breakfast was pretty decent. Over all we were very impressed with everything!

First off arrived with the lingering of a respiratory ailment so access to the 24 hour coffee bar for lemon juice and honey packets saved me a run out to a grocery after 7 hour drive through blizzard and inclement sub freezing weather. Hotel Staff Top Notch, everyone very friendly and accommodating. Cookies at desk for bedtime snack and fresh fruit on coffee bar anytime. Breakfast Sausage and Egg Patties with potatoes. Strawberry Waffle mix a first in travels. Option for mini or full size waffles a plus. Room is comfortable, quiet, very clean with extra towels, hand towels and washcloths stocked in room. Fantastic Room Rate, back next year same time if still available.

Very pleased with this hotel. I stayed in room 301, it was clean and didn't have any odor. The bathroom area was a little cramped. The staff was courteous, the breakfast consisted of omelettes, sausage, and potatoes along with cereal, pastries, and freshly made waffles. Overall a very positive experience and a good value.

Smooth check in, breakfast was great. Hot stuff, cold stuff and plentiful. Room was clean. My only issue was the noise from the heater when it came on and loud toilet (light sleepers) but it didn't affect the overall stay.

Friendly staff and a good breakfast. The bed was comfy and the room overall was clean. My only complaint is with the bathroom. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and on the shower walls. There was also dried shampoo suds on the shower wall. Overall though I would stay herr again. A nice room for a good price!

What I LOVED about my experience: (1) the cleanliness of the room, (2) the quiet days and nights, (3) the location, (4) the accessible, friendly, and helpful staff, (5) the comfortable bed and pillows, (6) the price, (7) the delicious free breakfast, (8) the 24-hour access to free coffee and fruit, and (9) the abundance of cable stations, including HBO. I would give a six-star rating if I were able. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay. Staff is friendly. Food could be a bit better. Air conditioning in some rooms don't work that great. I'd stay here again and will.

Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. A few problems with the room that they solved immediately. Hotel was near the heart of everything but yet you felt like you were in the country. Beautiful river next to parking lot, wooded trees view out of our room window. Would stay here again!

We came here from Washington State to visit a friend in Michigan. The people at the counter are very friendly and so is the room service. The rooms are clean and if you are low on something such as towels, shampoo or even water bottles, they will happily supply you with more. Our stay was great and if we come back we will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a nice quiet area. Easy to find. Close to food and gas stations. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It's nice and clean. Freda at the front desk is awesome. The free continental breakfast was really good and convenient lasting until 10am. I'd definitely stay again.

The beds weren't very comfortable but the blankets were pretty nice. The breakfast bar was really hard to get anything because it was so small and there were so many people. Also the McDonald's nextdoor is drive through window only after a certain point so don't count on walking up after dark being a nice experience.

Located along a strip of several hotels and this one was easily the most affordable. Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Good value.

This room was great for a one night stay. The bed was a little uncomfortable but not unbearable. The mini-fridge was very useful. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was okay but could be better. They ran out of several things in the middle of it. The thermostat was programmable and kept the room comfortable.

My family and I are so thankful for this hotel and their wonderful staff. Especially since we had a terrible experience at the whole in the wall next to them (The Rodeway Inn, which is also a choice member hotel but definitely should not be). The housekeeping staff, Lawanda and Shantanek, were excellent. The front desk staff, Frieda and Megan, were very accommodating and took care of everything for us. We will definitely visit this hotel again the next time we're in Michigan.

Room was clean! Very nice being a 2 star. Free breakfast. Free COFFEE! I liked that I could order pizza very late and have it delivered to my room. The front desk were kind and helpful!

It was a very clean room. Very spacious. Nice pillows and blankets. They meet my requestimate for a room near an exit. Only thing was they didn't have phone chargers for sale at front desk.

Hotel: Quality Inn 1461 N Opdyke Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326 Thursday, July 28-29 2016 July 28-29 2016 I was within an hour of my destination to Oxford, MI and knew I had to stop due to exhaustion. So I searched for a nearby hotel. I did not look any further when I saw the Quality Inn of Auburn Hills’ rating of 4.6 / 5 stars (253 reviews) for less than a $100 a night. All the staff was polite, courteous, professional, yet personable. They seemed to truly want my stay comfortable and memorable. Especially impressed with Brianna the evening I arrived. Upon entering the lobby, I noticed Brianna behind the desk. She was patiently dealing with an elderly client. Her focus, patience and kindness towards this man was amazing. She was genuinely as courteous and kind when I came to the desk. My check out with Miranda was equally as pleasant and efficient. The hotel is conveniently located with adequate parking, in a quiet, park like setting which appeared to be safe (i. E. Cameras, well-lit and a number of exits). The hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel’s exterior, lobby, halls, elevator, eating area and room were all clean. I did not have concerns about bed bugs, walking on the carpet, or using the coffee pot. (see room photo) I had a comfortable king sized bed with 5 comfy pillows. The linens and towels were all clean, bright white and soft. (photo). The room offers a lot of outlets, good lighting and a large office desk / office area. (see photo).

Excellent experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Room was immaculate, which is so appreciated as I do a lot of research before I book a hotel and cleanliness is number one for my "must haves" check list. Bed was just as comfortable as the one we slept in the night before at a 4-star hotel in Detroit. We used the outdoor heated pool which was well maintained and a real treat. If you're looking for a great eating experience, O'Malley's is across the street (in one of the other hotels). Great food and super value if you're on a budget. Only complaint is that it's a bit difficult to find the hotel if you're travelling without a GPS (I'd run out of data on my cell). It's tucked away in a cluster of trees and the only signage is the sign right on the lot. Would return to this Quality Inn in a heartbeat!

The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. They have free hot breakfast. I enjoyed my stay. Whenever I can I will choose Quality Inn first.

I stayed at the location 5 minutes away from Oakland University, nice place, comfortable beds. Breakfast was decent.

Awesome staff! Very, Very nice staff. I had to say it twice because they were that nice, everyone from check in to check out. The breakfast was nice as well. Would stay here again. Had to take a star off because the cleaning products they use leaves a somewhat weird smell in the room.

The staff is being helpful and friendly. It was really hot outside and upon waking in, not even checking in, they offered me a nice child's bottle of water. The pool water is the perfect temperature. The breakfast is decent and the lounge is very warm and welcoming.

For the Carrie Underwood concert my boyfriend and I decided to stay at this hotel. We had THE best experience we have ever had at any hotel. Miranda was working the front desk and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. When we got to the hotel she greeted us immediately and was beyond friendly. She talked to us for a good 15 minutes about the concert and wishing us a great stay and time. When we got ready to go to our room she gave us each a free gift bag which was so unexpected and so thoughtful. We got in our room and it perfect! We were not even in our room 30 minutes and Miranda called the room to make sure everything was satisfactory. I have never been treated this well in any hotel and I truly believe that was because of Miranda. Not only did Miranda make our stay so wonderful when we checked out the first thing she said was happy birthday to Nate Klamert without even asking his name or anything because she remembered! The day before she told us that they were almost sold out because of the concert and she still remembered who we were! Customer service is the number one thing people remember about a place and I will never forget how wonderful our stay was. This Quality Inn has the best customer service I have ever had and I will recommend this to anyone staying in Auburn hills. Thank you so much to Miranda for making our stay perfect! (:

Me and my fiancée stayed here for a weekend, the room was very nice and clean bed was comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful, they even gave us a extra hour to check out due to Bad weather… I recommend this hotel.

Very convenient place! It was perfect for our one night stay for a concert by the palace which was literally just down the street. 6 mins drive from the arena. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast and a shuttle to the concert. Staff was super friendly. They let me borrow a phone charger. Area had a McDonald's walking distance away. Liquor shop and smoke shop about a 3 mins drive away. Safe neighbourhood. Would definitely stay here again if I had to attend another concert. Amy and monal were very helpful.

Had a nice stay. Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows had stains but pillow cases was clean. Rooms were clean and smelled good. The few complaints I have is the T. V. Is very small. I think like a 19 inch. Also the hotel next door worried me about my vehicles safety. Police cruising in and out of the other hotels parking lot at all different hours. Shady people hanging out in the other hotels parking lot at all hours. No menus in room to order food. No microwave to heat up food. If it was not for these few things, I would have given 5 stars.

Quality is an understatement! Woman that check us in was AMAZING and truly wanted us to have a nice stay! The breakfast was to die for… yeah a hotel breakfast with sausage? WOW! Lady at breakfast was helpful and very accommodating! Everyone awesome! Beds super comfortable! Shower great!

Great first impression. Good location from work. Big room on 3d floor. @my request small frig & microwave put in. One of the better Hampton Inn for me. Stay here again.

This hotel was not as nice as some of the other hamptons I have stayed at which is why it only got 4 stars but the staff was excellent as usall.

Great continental breakfast with a mcdonalds nearby. Good linens and clean rooms.

I am horribly disappointed with this hotel. We had a nasty room and terrible service. If you stay at this hotel, you will leave very disappointed. Do not stay at this hotel.
