Shamrock Farms Bed and Breakfast Farm Stay

Beautiful place, little slice of heaven and not that far from the city. Great weekend gettaway.

Beautiful property! Nice owner. Lots of animals around. Poop everywhere outside. The house needs some polishing up and small repairs. We stayed in the roses room and it was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. The b & b function of the home seemed like it was just a way to make money until they are able to sell the property. (It is for sale)

Called three times to inquire on reserving a date. First time someone answer and said she'll have to call me back, which she never did. I also left 2 messages stating I wanted to reserve a room with still no call back. Guess they don't want my business.

As usual Maurine was a fantastic host. Breakfast was plentiful, the farm was peaceful and the Secretariat room was amazing. Sad to see our 3 days come to an end.

A hidden gem, just minutes outside of Lapeer, MI. Very comfortable, quaint little place. Rooms were nice, spacious, clean, and decorated so pretty! Come and go as you please. Friendly owners made a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Lots of cute farm animals. Even the noisy roosters! We will definitely be back.

Very accomodating. Excellent breakfast. Expect to be awoken by roosters and peacocks at dawn.

Very unprofessional. I had family from out of town that booked a stay with the farm and they just wanted me to go by and take a look at it for them since the website didn't show much. For months they led me on saying they were busy or there were guests so they couldn't do it at that time which I understand having worked in hospitality myself. But when they finally started to send me photos, I called the B&B and they owner decided that I shouldn't be looking around after the reservation was already made. Even though I had explained they're coming from another state and pretty much said that they are not welcome just because they wanted me to look at the place to make sure it was a good place to stay during my wedding. In the end she told me "oh well, we're busy and hospitality is really what comes second we are more of a farm". In my opinion if your not going to care much about your B&B then why have it?!

Wonderful, accommodating staff. Beautiful rooms. So much beautiful terrain to explore and animals to see. I ended up being the only one at the Shamrock this past weekend, to my surprise and still I was served a yummy huge breakfast. It is nice to see such nice service! Thank you agian:)

I do not think I was ever more content to be in one place so long. Breakfast are quite large and very good the fresh fruit parfaits and homemade breakfast rolls were my favorites. Also to see all of these animals and how friendly they all are loved them all bit the donkeys hold a special place in my heart.

Maureen and Barbara are so sweet. They showered us with niceties and delicious food all weekend! And surprised the wedding party with a bonfire complete with s'mores, snacks, and homemade watermelon sangria the night before the big day! The farm is gorgeous and all the animals are really friendly! Being awakened by a rooster every morning and eating farm-fresh eggs with my best friends in such a beautiful and intimate environment is something I'll never forget! It was a beautiful wedding weekend — The perfect place to get ready for the big day!
