Room appeared clean and well organized but a guy I work with in a different room got attacked by bed bugs both nights we were there. Needless to say we will not be back.

Very friendly staff. Will make sure your stay is great.

Clean rooms and good service but I wonder why the smoke alarm has a bag?

Had to ask for another set of towels upon arrival only one set in room when room was booked for a couple. Found hairs in bathtub. Husband had to jiggle handle or something so toilet would shut off. No city map in room drawers or available at front desk or lobby. Little to no info on local businesses or restaurants. When asking front desk attendant he wasn't from area and recommended fast food. Coffee pot had not been cleaned. Breakfast was grab and go. Prices higher on weekend. A little too pricy for a Motel 8 and not as clean as should've been.

Ground floor had flooded recently so room smelled mildewey but aside from that, it was a decent room.

Place was clean smelled good didn't kill my allergies quite all night decent Lil breakfast my only complaint was the filter in the AC unit wasn't clean but that was an easy fix for me.

I have been to a lot of super Eights all over Iowa I recently ran into this one and you get pretty much just the room breakfast food that is there is questionable some of it was rotten whole building smells like mildew.

Blood on the comforter pee stain on the comforter in room 207 also shower curtain was broke and Toilet was nasty 208. Toe nail clips on the floor 201. Cookie crumbs on the floor in 201. Will never EVER go back EVER! The owner argued and yelled at us when we did nothing wrong. We had a really baf experience and never ever ever go back.

Room was clean. Check in was easy, even for an additional room after the wedding reception. Pretty typical super 8 experience.

I stayed for 5 days and they never cleaned the beds or anything. I always had to go stairs for towels and bathroom paper. When I was eating the lady would always come to take food.

Clean friendly place that brings a good name to one that I've been leery of for years. I'd definitely stay here again!

The service has been fine. Rooms are clean, easy to find. Not that great of a selection at breakfast but other than that it has been a good place to stay.

If there were less than fair — poor this hotel would get it for their customer service. We had a house fire on the 26th of December and I have never had such rude and inconsiderate service. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to not send business to this establishment.

I couldn't believe how rude, harsh and unpleasant the management is at this hotel. Perhaps good customer service is a new concept to him. I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere and would recommend that to anyone else.

New beds and bedding, rooms freshly painted. New carpet in rooms coming next month, per the owner/manager. He said the beds are now, ". Super 8 corporate. " The king size bed in my room was very comparable in comfort to those of my favorite chain: Hampton Inn. I just completed my annual 2 night stay here, which I have done for 5+ years at about this time of year. These new-to-me bed and bedding renovations mean I will boost the Super 8 chain up a few notches in my consideration of where to stay in all of my future travels.

Boy, where to start. First, look at some of the reviews and you know they were made by the marketing department of Super 8, not by an actual guest. I'm a commercial driver, staying in Super 8 over 40 nights a year, and have never been so rudely treated at checkin as at this hotel. Defensive, rude owner demanded to know why I was "in town". My co driver is African American, and the whole thing started after he saw the co driver… then he told me about his "rules" and his need to "know who his guests are". Avoid this armpit place, avoid checking in late when the owner is on duty, and if you want Super 8, stay at Jefferson Iowa just up the road.
