Such a beautiful place the River front and good food. Breakfast was amazing and such awesome hospitality and really homey rooms. My family and I also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Staff very attentive. Housekeeping and management took care of an issue I had very quickly. Irish and Caleb took great care of us, and were always smiling. Great customer service, rooms very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!

This place feels like a bed and breakfast. The manager Michael went beyond anything we've ever experienced. Shannon and the rest of the staff are top notch! After our jeep was trapped in the train derail, Michael the manager tracked us down and took us under his wing for the remainder of our stay. We can't begin to Thank them all enough. We will definitely be back to visit this beautiful place that now feels like home.

Upscale appearing and cozy motel on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. Watch tug boats struggle as they slowly push barges full of garbage up the river from the comfort of your own balcony! Downtown Le Claire is only minutes away, by car. 3 days by barge. Swim across the river and back and I will let you watch me write a review. Witness the legend in action! ‍♂️‍♂️‍♀️‍♀️

Third time I've stayed at this hotel and it's been perfectly accommodating each time. Very nice area, right on the river and a good view of it if you are on the right side of the hotel. Good food within walking distance too.

Booked our room for Aug 8 on May 16. Check in time 3pm. Arrived at 3:45 after traveling all day. Room was not ready. Hostess says we should book more than a day ahead. I showed her my confirmation dated May 16. A half hour later they find us a different room. Next morning, no hot breakfast. Cook failed to show. No discount. And no return for us again. Will probably cancel my membership. Overpriced for the service we received.

Great Location! River view rooms available! Easy on/off interstate! Rooms and bathrooms very clean and comfortable! Breakfast included with cost of room and is amazing!

It was a great place to stay right off the river and places around to eat. The staff was the greatest, friendly an helping you to make your stay the best. Checked in late an the lady working the desk was great to get checked in!

Pool was nice not to chilly, hot tub was a good temperature. Breakfast was great ran out of biscuits and gravy. Room was nice and clean, hotel had a great view of the Mississippi. Looked nicely updated with modern furnishings.

Big room, very clean. Nice, hot continental breakfast too. But, the walls are a bit thin in this hotel.

Nice river view, clean rooms, and generally good rates. Especially nice find in the QCs; others at the same rate are dated.

My stay was pleasant. Room was comfortable and quiet. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, the frozen dinners and snacks available at the front desk were convenient since I often returned from the worksite exhausted and just wanted to eat something simple in my room. Breakfast buffet was good and staff friendly and helpful.

Best place to stay. Went to check in and we were upgraded to a two room suite. Awesome. Room was very nice. We was on the riverside, great views.

We are here and last night we had people in 50s acting like teenagers. Drinking and 2:30 in morning cussing and walking tour hallways bitching. Even couple of rooms that had doors grapes open. Loud drinking talking at 12:30 plus. Been here a lot this is the worst night. Don't know if I'll come back here again. Told someone and she said she would keep her eye out. No wants to deal with people. Plus as we talk 50 plus lady walked bye carry a beer. At 1am.

We've stayed here a few times now. Always a great place. Even better with the new renovations.

Beautiful, Clean, Courtious, GREAT breakfast I can't say enough good about this place. And the view of the river from our room was absolutely wonderful. Also a great little town to explore and shop. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The room was superb. It was clean, I loved the paintings and modern concept the room had. The shower was huge. The continental breakfast was amazing. 1 minute pancakes were awesome to make. The indoor pool is warm and Jacuzzi was relaxing. The patios are spacious. The gym was great. The staff was incredibly helpful. It was an amazing stay.

Lovely hotel. If you go to this hotel, I highly recommend you get a room with a balcony overlooking the river. It’s so beautiful. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and the customer service was awesome!

Not a fan of this one! I stay at many Holiday Express’s. This one definitely needs to be updated. They need to take the gawd awful jacuzzi tubs out of the living room area in the suites and put in a sink and cabinets. The mattress is hard as a rock not the new mattresses like all the other Holiday Express’s use. The staff was ok.

Staff are very friendly, rooms have been recently renovated. We've booked rooms here for business twice a year for the last five years. We love this hotel, the people even more.

Nice rooms and great breakfast. Rooms on backside of hotel get to hear trains at night. Rooms facing front get a great view of the Mississippi.

Comfortable with clean rooms. Nice views of water. Dependable breakfast fixings. Stayed here many times. Only problem is that the rooms are getting a little pricey even for business travel.

Great location on the river. Spend the few extra bucks and get a river view room with balcony. Good German bar next door. Only negative is the train tracks out back with trains running almost constantly, though not an issue on the riverfront rooms.

Balcony rooms on river side; nice, clean rooms; comfy pillows and beds, large rooms, great bathroom, good refrigerator, great free breakfast; always stay here with good friends twice a year. Balconies are totally clean and critter free. Very fun town!

We travel a fair amount and stay in a lot of hotels. For the price this is a great place to stay. The rooms with a view of the Mississippi River are spacious clean and very comfortable. The bathroom vanity has ample room for toiletries. The shower is one piece (no place for grunge to grow) with a nice seat. The offer of complimentary toiletries stood up when I discovered I forgot to replace the deodorant in my bag. Bed and pillows slept well. Plenty of electrical outlets for our various electronics. Balcony offered a great view of the Mississippi. Chairs were clean and the area was clean and free of cobwebs. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and coffee was better than average. All in all it was a good stay and if we get back here for business or pleasure, we will definitely stay here.

Appears to have been recently renovated or is new. Modern and very clean. Our room was very spacious and had a great view of the Mississippi River from our balcony. I would definitely stay here again!

This Holiday Inn Express was by far the nicest we've stayed at! This was our second and final hotel of our vacation and we felt like we were at The Ritz compared to our previous property. The front desk was accommodating, the pool was perfect for the kids, the rooms were very comfortable and Breakfast this morning was great! We hope to make this a half way stop next year on vacation. Thanks!

The room was clean, the pool and hot tub were relaxing and the free breakfast was good… They had an automatic pancake maker (push the button for how many you would like, set your plate at the end and watch them roll out of the oven). So much better then the normal waffles :-)

The best! Stayed here while passing through. Was being remodeled when we stayed so we got a "brand new" room. We love staying at holiday inn expresses wherever we travel.

Staff was great, really nice. Noise from other guests (closing doors, talking in halls) was more pronounced than other hotels I've stayed in. Oh and the tracks about 200ft behind the hotel weren't conducive to sleeping either. Rooms were updated and very nice and clean.

Enjoyed the fish tank in the lobby and good river view.

Stayed here about a dozen times, staff is always friendly and helpful. Facilities are nice, clean, and relatively new. Plan on staying here again in the future!

I have stayed here several times for business. The location is excellent, with several dinner options very close. The rooms and common areas were always clean. The continental breakfast in the morning goes the extra distance to be more than an Otis Spunkmeyer Muffin and a banana. The staff has always been very cordial and ready to help out in any way they can. If I had to complain about anything, I would choose the fitness center. It is a little small for a full effective workout. I recommend this hotel to any traveler.
