Large, spacious room. Comfortable beds with a nice tv. Quite friendly staff. I would certainly come back again!

Had one problem was never had enough towels in the room for 5 people and I don't like your rules about nothing in the swimming area I was just watching my grandchildren swimming but Just sitting with nothing to drink while they swam I think if not swimming could have something drink the amount it's rid iculously.

No green size beds. And we stayed two nights and they charged us $6 per person for 3 kids that came to visit us while there to go swimming what the heck. I'm guessing what a I paid for two nights covered the amount of time they spent in the pool oh and u cant have pool toys or any drinks!

Nice clean place. Staff was friendly. Some weird drunk guy hangs out on the regular apparently, but harmless. Stayed just one night, breakfast was very good too! Decent selection.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I have to say this was the best place I've ever stayed! Great rooms, extremely friendly staff, amazing breakfast and a cozy pool! Wanna give a shout put to Jamie, the manager! You just had back surgery and you were very pleasant! Hope you get to feeling better, as well. Also thank you for taking the extra precaution to make sure I got my tablet, that was left there, back saftley! When we come to visit again, we will definitely book with you again! Thank you!

My room at the Baymont was clean enough. A little dusty. The bed is okay, but the pillows really suck. We got unlucky during this stay as there was a young girls softball team staying in the hotel that we're up wild hours of the night. The staff is friendly enough and the continental breakfast was fulfilling.

Cozy two bed rooms good breakfast bar in the morning. Only real down side was the bathroom wasn't cleaned the best found some hair in the sink.

If I could give this place a big fat zero stars I would. First I called and got hung up on twice by some lady. Then I call again and got a 2nd lady and she quoted me $109 per for my 2 night stay but couldn't figure out how to book my room. She said she was gonna call her manager and figure it out then call me back. I waited an hour and then called back. I got the first lady again and asked what was going on? They didnt know, couldnt get ahold of their manager. They eventually figure it out, book my reservation, and send my confirmation. Except now on my confirmation my rate is $140 1st night and $200 2nd night. Called the manager the next day and he basically told me that I was lucky to have the room reserved for that price. I'd cancel the reservation but nobody will answer the phone tonight.

The rate that we paid I expected better service. The room was without toilet paper, popcorn from the previous tenant was under the edge of the bed frame, an old bar of soap was in the shower, the refrigerator did not work. When I asked for a new room I was told that there were none available (even though there only like eight cars in the parking lot). On our day of checkout our key cards were inactive before we even turned them in to checkout. This is a less then mediocre hotel, it is outdated for the rate that was charged.

Amazing hotel, beds were comfortable, jacuzzi in the room was amazing! Hotel staff was very courteous. Very clean room. Indoor pool was a little chilly but of course it was in the middle of winter… Breakfast was quite amazing, a nice array of options.

Had the whirlpool suite. Didn't really focus on the hotel if you know what I mean. But it was pretty decent sizes. Whirlpool was huge. Plenty of room. Bed was okay. Breakfast was fully stocked and the food was fresh.

The rooms are nice the people are wonderful and the pool is beautiful.

Stayed in honeymoon suite! Was a great room, very spacious! Breakfast was ok.

I stayed in the executive suite (room 202) and wasn't very impressed! The shower water temp was luke warm, it never got hot at all and this was at 8:00 pm! The hot tub is more a whirlpool bathtub, the room needed dusted and the furniture had seen better days! The pool is literally right outside the room, so it stunk of chlorine and all you hear are kids screaming while playing in the pool. Lovely at 8:00 am when you would like to sleep in a bit. The bed about killed my back, and I have zero back problems so this was due to their crappy mattress! We left most of the day and had a pair of socks on the bed, I came back to a note saying they couldn't make the bed because of a pair of socks?!? The continental breakfast is "okay" I have seen better elsewhere! I had to leave a day early and they said their policy was you had to pay anyway! Besides a five star hotel like the Westin in Chicago, I have NEVER had a motel charge me for a room if I had to leave early! This place is a far cry from the Westin! There were maybe ten cars in the parking lot while I was there, it's not like they were super busy! I also noticed the pillows smelled like many, many people had slept on them! They need to update everything in their room! It's okay though, I go to Iowa quite often and will be staying in Ames from now on. Places like these that put customers last lose revenue in the future. Kind of a no brainer Baymont!

Clean clean clean rooms. SUPERB staff. Fresh soft linens. NICE indoor pool. Good breakfast. Stay here if you are staying in BOONE!

I went to family weekend at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa. I stayed at Baymont Inn & Suites… disappointing is not the word. I walk in to my room and I see a lumpy comforter, dirty towel left near toilet, hair in bathtub, stain sheets and dresser needed serious dusting. For the amount I paid to stay there it was awful. I showed manager pictures and asked her do you think this is acceptable? She couldn't say much and wanted to give me $20.00 dollars back on my room. I paid $144.00 for one night. I'm amazed at the reviews that say the hotel was clean and nice. I would have love to seen their rooms. When you find a wet towel on the bathroom near toilet that tells me bathroom floor wasn't swept or mopped. When you see a lumpy comforter and stain sheets that mean they are not washed properly, just awful, awful, and awful!

HORRIBLE! 1st room… bathroom light didn't work… 2nd room… dirty shirt in room! 3rd room. They upgraded me to a king size suite… With pull out king size bed… pull out was broken. We had 5 people! So again tell the front desk… she said "we are running out of rooms to move you to this is a $40 a night upgrade! " Excuse me… I didn't ask to be moved in the first time or the second… let alone this time… With nothing left for either on us to say I said I'd figure it out… we put a table under the pull out for support and called it a night… Check bank statement after checkout… The double charged me… (Now waiting for it to be reposted back into my account) NEVER AGAIN!

We stayed at the Baymont because it was the nicest of the three hotels in Boone. I will say, I am very particular about hotels and anyone who knows me will tell you, I only stay at the Marriott, Hilton etc. Well the Baymont was wonderful! No it is not a five star hotel :-) but I had no complaints (one complaint)! Our room was very clean, the linen was really nice and clean. I brought our comforters from home but I was fine sleeping on the bedding that was provided. The floors were clean, the air was clean (no cigarette smells) and the bathroom was spotless. I can't forget to mention the housekeeping staff was so friendly and checked on us to make sure we were fine. The manager (Heather, I think her name is) was also very pleasant. The hotel is also located next door to Walmart so we walked over there a couple times (right through the parking lot) Because I complain a lot, I had to search hard for one complaint and that was the hot tub was being fixed when we stayed there, however the pool was working and it was nice and warm, it was 11 degrees outside so we appreciated a warm pool. I recommend this hotel if you are very particular about hotels, you wont regret the choice! P. S. The lady that was working in the evening was so helpful with welcoming us to Boone and telling us where to go for food etc. She actually made us feel so great about being in Boone (the world could use more friendly people like her). Oh and the breakfast was great (added bonus)!
