Needs the carpet replaced in some areas. Especially the room I was in. Breakfast was good and the pool was open.

Don't recommend… The building smelled like old house and cigaret smoke, our room smelled even worse. Our room also could have been cleaner. Went to the pool and everything just felt dirty. The jets must not have been working because you could see the surface of the water was dirty. The hot tub was covered as if it was out of order, we asked the front desk and they told us it has been out of order for the past 7 years. Almost everything in the fitness center was broken. I will say breakfast was good, but thats about it.

This hotel has been great so far. The deep end on their pool is 12 ft which I love. Everyone has been really nice and the rooms are nice.

If I could give this place 0 stars… I WOULD! My significant other and I found it to be a little dirty at first (definitely didn't like our 1 year old crawling on the floor) but we weren't going to be snobs about the lack of cleanliness (which was very apparent). Then we found a knife in a towel we were about to use on our infant daughter! I was livid! Immediately I called staff (who were completely oblivious. I decided to call the police since staff wasn't going to. Then staff offered us a different room at the end of the hall. We moved our sick and sleepy baby down the hall to a room that reeked of smoke (we both had a URI). While waiting for police I walked up and down the hall and realized there were many finger prints, blood splatter, and big holes missing in the carpet. This place literally looks like a horror film waiting to happen. We left only 2 hours after arriving… please do not go here if you appreciate cleanliness and safety!

Would NEVER reccomend. Blood in hallways. I found a knife STASHED inside the towels in my bathroom. Doors have been all forcibly opened. Service was non existent and non apologetic. Beds stained. Floor has carpet cut out of it. Rooms smell. Worst imaginable environment.

Would not even give this hotel one star. I came in with 3 kids after driving for hours. Apparently to check in an hour early I had to pay 50$. The lady at the front was completely rude. I left and went else where. The manager Mr. Patel was not there but the lady at the front desk said he has a strict policy that no one can check in an hour early without paying 50$. Plus the entrance was filthy and pool looked disgusting Can’t even imagine what the rooms looked like. Would not and will never give them a cent of my money.

Worst service I've ever experienced in a hotel. Ended up not staying because the Manager on duty was so rude and unprofessional. He obviously hates his job. Can't believe the owners don't know this about their staff. If you want to stay in business, you should pay more attention to who you have working for you.

No elevator to second floor. The stairways are not secured (don’t lock) or are wedged open by people with little to no security and smell like armpit and mold. We had a total of 3 rooms and each one had problems: one didn’t have a working air conditioner unit, the other had a broken mirror and rusted toilet. The final room had heavy carpet stains, leaky shower head, and a door that was jimmied open previously; I wonder if you can still get in? Our hallway had a broken AC unit so needless to say it was musty, humid and uncomfortable. The pool water seemed stagnant with little water flow; cloudy and highly chlorinated to the point of discomfort. A wise woman once said, If you missed a vaccination don’t fret! Jump into the Quality Inn pool and you’ll be set for 2 years! 2nd floor windows are not locked and big enough for child or adult to jump out of, Game of Thrones style. The breakfast selection was only saving grace here. Wi-Fi was non-existent even though you could log in, the service was bogged down to the point of lack of service.

It was 93 degrees today (May 27, 2018). The ac did not work properly and my son and I were sweating bullets. The floor is stained really bad and as soon as I opened the door we instantly smelled a disgusting stench. The sheets were stained. I highly doubt they were washed from the last guest. The shampoo was used which further makes me believe things aren't properly cleaned. I had a miserable stay at this roach motel. Next time I'll just get a nice room in Chicago and make the drive to come visit family in Woodstock. I suggest you do the same. You've been warned.

The hotel needs to be updated. Wallpaper is cracking and pealing as is the drywall. The only thing going for this place is the staff is absolutely wonderful.

Room service only offered Rosatis Pizza. Beds and Blankets quite soft. Driving entrance is small. Only one exit/entrance. Easy to miss. Manager at front desk doesnt come till like the 5th bell ring. Pool was closed from some chemical problem. Free breakfast was pretty good. Maids were nice.

When I did not like about the Quality Inn I had a smoking room sure enough but the floor was so burnt I thought I was in a bar the best rest has so many holes in it I just could not believe I'm 71 years old and I have never been so disgusted because there was spider webs over the curtains the paper was peeling off of the walls and I was in room 1 to 8 I was very disappointed but the quality of the food was great the service at the front desk was great other than my room I enjoyed my stay that's my.

Affordable and accommodations as expected. Overall upkeep is lacking around the edges but by no means sketchy. Certain manager there with 21 years experience (know who you are) was very gracious and did all she could within guidelines of owner to make stay comfortable.

Yes this was the Heating/Cooling unit in our room, needless to say l had a major asthma attack 5 minutes after checking in. We booked a Saturday night stay for the 2018 Groundhog Day celebration in Woodstock on Sunday, we got to the hotel, checked in at 7pm (we used our points, 10, 000 to be exact), threw our bags on the bed and went to check out the Square in Woodstock. We came back to the hotel planned to take a dip in the pool, we were gaging from the smell of cigarette smoke, my husband used the restroom in our room and l sat in the desk chair next to the unit, within 2 minutes my eyes started to swell and and l was having a full blown ASTHMA attack. We were shown other rooms but each one had FILTHY heating and cooling systems. We checked out and went home. I wrote a letter to Choice Hotels but never got a response from corporate, the hotel manager did give us our points back. We requested a comped night stay at a Choice Hotel of my choosing for my grief… NOT ACCEPTABLE!

1/17/2018. Nice place, clean, friendly, free breakfast, heat lamp after shower. Free Ice! Laundry room! Huge rooms. Love the the Staff. Breakfast starts free at 6:30-9 am! Will stay more than one week!

The room was nice and clean, but the bathroom looked dingy and the shower head didn't work properly.

D-U-M-P Stained dirty carpet. Overflowing toilet. Cold pool. Peeling paint. You get what you pay for.

Gal at front desk was nice but other than that this hotel was a nightmare! The lock to the side entrance was cut off the door, so you are basically staying at a motor lodge with your room lock the only protection between you and the street.

I just checked in after work should have checked the room out first the tub has hair in it the washers dont work carpet is just nasty would never stay here again to bad ive already paid for the whole week just a nasty room.

The service was awful. The older gentleman at the front desk was really rude. We walked into the room and it smelled like pee and we walked right out. Seemed very dirty and the pool was tiny. We wanted a refund and the gentleman at the front desk was giving us a hard time until he called the owner and got permission. This place was super outdated I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Go down the street to the Best Western instead!

Arrived at 9pm to find no handicapped room, despite booking directly with hotel and calling to confirm. Only room was upstairs and no elevator. I asked if they could call other area hotels and they said no. So at 9pm we had to go door to door looking for a room.

Not bad. We had a problem with our toilet leaking and after bringing it up to the desk twice, it was still never fixed. Granted, you are looking for a cheaper place to book. Just be aware there aren't elevators that I have seen every time I've stayed here either.

Overall nice hotel. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean and well kept, and the bathroom was relatively large. There are a few restaurants a couple of miles down the road. Would stay here again if the price is right.

The location of this hotel was very helpful near most things one would need in terms of gas stations and places to eat and breakfast was well planned out. The 2 stars comes from the unclean conditions and repair status of the hotel. We also had multiple occasions where housekeeping left our doors open and windows open while we where gone.

You get what you pay for. Just checked in, our room smells terrible!

Just checked in, didn't realize there was no elevator. Saying that though they were able to switch other persons room to ground floor so it worked out good. Hotel+room look clean so far. Only thing I would recommend little maintenance/ updating (peeling wallpaper, floor stain little stuff like that) over all pleased with hotel staff very nice and informative.

They were accommodating and kind. Few things needed to be fixed or updated. It was decent. If you are a nonsmoker ask for second floor.

Hotel staff was very personable and eager to help. Even though I was away from home for work, the staff made me feel at home. The only complaint I had was that the hallway where my room was located smelled badly of cigarette smoke.

It was great for the price. $70 for two big beds. Had a microwave and mini fridge and cable with a big tv. The employees were all very nice. If I'm ever in Woodstock again I'll stay there again.
