3rd stay in three months. Newly remodeled room, allows dogs (super bonus). Motel is under remodeling so patience is required but a nice and responsive staff. I have 3 more visits already booked. 4th stay this weekend. Once again, excellent service. The room was clean and comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and welcomed us (my wife and dogs) with open arms. We will be back on two weeks and we are looking forward to the visit!

WEDDING STAY Had five rooms for our wedding which was held in the Days Inn Ballroom and Event Center. (Beautiful setting and delicious food. ) All the rooms were very roomy and clean. Staff was probably the most friendly and helpful of any hotel employees that I have ever dealt with. New breakfast room had just opened. Many selections to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in the Sterling/Rock Falls.

I was very pleased. The staff was super helpful, kind and friendly (thanks, Rebecca). The room was large, the lobby was quite lovely. And the restaurant was great. The hotel has changed a great deal over the years (changing hands and owners) but it is clear that the new owners are working hard to make this a top notch hotel in our small neck of the woods. Doing a great job and I'm excited to see the completely finished product. Highly recommend!

We stay here every time we are in the area. The beds are comfortable never any major issues and if any minor issues are fixed immediately. Rebecca and Sara at the front desk are absolutely amazing! Very helpful and friendly!

Wonderful place to stay. Clean rooms. Bar & grill attached to hotel. Rebecca has great customer service. If I’m ever in the area again I will be staying here.

Was a very nice experience. Nice big rooms. Very friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. They even have parking for a few semi trucks off to the right. Food at restaurant was awesome. Well worth the money to stay here.

I had my Bridal Shower here and it was EXCELLENT! It was set up so beautifully and there was enough room for everyone to visit and play games. If anyone needs a room for anything I highly suggest going to Days Inn Banquets for anything!

Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Minimal high carb breakfast. Decent restaurant next door but doesn't open until late afternoon.

The chemical smells in the room and pool area were quite overpowering at times. Also 2 older women and an older man came into the pool area, fully dressed with no intentions on swimming, and proceeded to tell my children to be quite as the kids are playing in the pool. I was appalled by the rudeness of other guests. The front desk deactivated my room key and gave 2 new room keys to my 11 year old children whom were trying to get additional room keys, without my consent mind you!

Terrible is the only way to describe this awful excuse for a hotel. The rooms haven't been updated in at least 30 years and the pool is peeling and in terrible condition. The continental breakfast is stale cereal, old bananas, and toast. I would never stay here again if they offered me a free room. It's that bad.

Good food but 2 long of a wait.

If I could give 0 stars I would! First of all I stayed with them every other day for about 2 weeks since we had to to go home every other day we would leave a van in the hotel which they had given us permission but the last time we left they called me demanding to pick up my van before a certain hour that it was impossible for me to get there since I was back at home they threatened me with calling the police and having it towed even tho I was going back the next day so I had to call a tow truck to go pick it up instead! Second, their rooms are infested with roaches well at least the one I stayed in, you couldn’t go to the bathroom in peace without roaches crawling thru your feet!

You get what you pay for. The price was cheap and you get very little for it. Don't even bother getting up in time for the free breakfast. There was 3 muffins and 5 hard boiled eggs. Yep that was it.

2 families stayed here and we all had same kind of rooms however charged $40 difference in rooms. Our room had spider webs you could tell had been there awhile. Killed 3 spiders and had 2 more in room in morning. Then when we brushed teeth noticed ants or small bugs crawling around bathroom mirrors. Curtains stained horrible on window with dead bugs in window sill. Reported all of this to front with ok we will look into it. Should have went to Holiday Inn express for this price. The price in line was not the price given either.

Came to visit my girlfriend and daughter and was given an extremely small room after requesting a larger room to accomidate the three of us. Continuous banging of doors all hours of the day, room keys continuously failing, outside door never locked to prevent NON RESIDENTS FROM ENTERING, air conditioner hardly kept the room cool.

Shoddy renovation going on. Electric outlets not covered. However beds are comfy and American Grill has good food.

Nice people. Good place to eat, bar connected to the motel. Coffee is good. Not new but comfortable.

We dined at the All American restaurant next door. Super charming. Great food. Wonderful staff. Glad we found it!

Great hotel, great staff! Housekeepers were all amazing, front desk clerk as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I attended a warehouse sale in one of the banquet rooms. The place was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. The event itself wasn't great. Everything was extremely disorganized and the clothes were way overpriced for the quality (huge tears/rips, sharpie marks all over the items).

I felt the service here was good, and the room was clean. I have no complaints about the hotel.

It was nice it was close to wal mart and restaurants. The hotel and rooms seemed clean. The catering to the event at the hotel was good food but a major mess up on quantity.

The staff were amazing and so courteous and nice. They were so helpful and always had a smile in their face. The location was great for a wedding that we attended just right down the street. There's a breakfast place across the street and a Culver's and a Walmart near by. The rooms were a little small but it was neat and clean and we wished there were bigger pillows and better comforters. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Good for the price, no pool the first night and no ice maker the first couple of nights. Had a 9 night stay.

It was not fancy but served it's purpose as a overnight stay with a clean bed. The employee behind the desk when I checked in was very nice and helpful.

My mother has been coming to this hotel almost as long as it has been standing, back when it was a good hotel and run by Holiday Inn. Prior to this year every visit was met with a warm welcome and they actually knew my mother by name. This year unfortunately was our last stay at the hotel. It is now the Days Inn and let me just tell you how horrible this hotel is. After arriving, 2 separate families tried to enter my mother's room because they thought her room was theirs. There is no Wi-Fi in my room, a broken coffee maker, blankets with disgusting yellow stains on them, no workout room in the facility, no mini fridge and the phones don't work which make it difficult to call my mom since our cell phones also don't work here. The hallways wreak of cigarette smoke even though there is a sign in my room that says if you smoke they charge you $200. How could you ever enforce that when people are smoking in their rooms so heavily that the hallways are hazy with smoke? When I asked about the workout room the front desk person told me all the equipment got broken so someone ruined it for everyone else. He's been working here 4 months and had some sort of an emotional issue since he completely ignored me at the front desk while I waited 10 minutes for him to tell me there was no Wi-Fi password. Not that it mattered because the Wi-Fi won't stay connected for longer than 30 seconds which is why we had to shorten our stay.

We stayed at Days Inn for two nights and three days and we had three rooms. The parking lot was full of garbage, dead plants and potholes. Upon check in we were informed that their summer rate had kicked in and that we were now going to be charged 20 per room more plus 10 for every additional adult over one adult in the room. Days Inn claims to be a smoke free environment but one of the rooms smelled like smoke and when we reported it the persons at the front desk said that they were aware and that was all that was done about that situation. The pool was green and cold and the hot tub was three jets in a circle cut out on one side of it. Also there were people smoking in the doorway of the pool area of again a "smoke free hotel". The pool area also was not clean, there were towels and trash all over the place. The internet offered only worked for one night of our stay. The security doors that in most hotels require you to slide a key to enter late at night were open 24 hours a day. The complementary breakfast was you could get two items off of a very slim menu. (2 bacon, 2 sausage link, eggs) and the server was very inattentive (no refills) and the menu was very expensive for breakfast. 6 dollars for three, four inch pancakes seems a bit high to me. Luckily there is a wal-mart right next door. I would NOT recommend staying at hotel. We will not be going back to this hotel if we ever have occasion to stay in Rock Falls again.

Coming into Rock Falls, the Days Inn looks like a decent hotel. The rooms certainly weren't bad but our experience was not the best. The parking lot was filled with garbage and potholes, the kind that could literally pop your tires. When we arrived they insisted that our rate had changed and charged us $10 over what we originally were quoted. After bantering with the concierge for over a half hour, we finally got our 3 rooms. One of our rooms was a conjoined room, and mind you this is a "smoke free environment", yet we opened the door of one room and it reeked of cigarette smoke. They clearly did not clean the room, but still put us in there. When we brought it to their attention, they said they had already known about the smell but still put part of our party in that room. We finally got settled into our other rooms, they were pretty clean and the other rooms smelled fine, the beds were comfortable so if you're just looking for an overnight stay business trip, this might be a good hotel for you. If you're on vacation or want to stay for recreation, I do not recommend this hotel. We went down to the pool later, which was barely luke warm. There were a ton of kids with their parents, but none of the parents were watching them. The parents were drinking and twice while we were down there we smelled residents smoking weed.

The internet did not work (Comcast) and they initially tried to say I didn't know how to sign in, but eventually told me that it was down. In the morning, water was dripping from the bathroom ceiling, making it impossible for me to use the bathroom. I told them and they said if the room above does not arrange the shower curtain correctly, that would happen. It seemed they were used to this complaint. I wonder how long it will be before the ceiling falls in. They did not seem willing to deduct any from my bill even after two issues. I will not stay there again.

For the price its good. It was clean, easy access, close to some restaurants. If it had Wifi it would have been perfect. Breakfast is a little hokey. You get a coupon for breakfast at the attached bar/grill. It was ok, but you get about 3 options, if you are a big eater prepare for disapointment.

At check in, the desk person was very nice and polite. Very organized. 56 dollars including tax, just like advertised. The motel is a former Holiday inn with a bar/resteraunt attached. The food was great and reasonably priced. All the resteraunt personnel were pleasant. Bar tender was friendly and honest. My room was very clean, especially for a 50 some dollar room. So overall, I was very pleased. If you just want to get away, Its worth the drive from the quad cities. A much better deal, believe me. Oh, and the indoor pool was clean, warm, and very well taken care of.
