I always thought Ramada was a decent chain. Boy was I wrong. At check in there was a sign that said pool closed. Disappointing but things happen. Get to our room and noticed that the AC was completely off. Again not a deal breaker but it was just super warm in there. Go to shut the curtains and noticed the sheer curtain had been wet at some point. It was full in a gross brown stain that luckily didn’t smell like the mold it looked like. We then noticed the toilet seat was broken and shifted anytime you sat down. In the morning no matter what we did we could not figure out how to turn the shower on. My husband went down to the desk to ask how to use the shower and the response he got was along the lines of “I’ve only been here a week I don’t know how anything works” No offer to contact maintenance or anything, just fully dismissive. When we checked out (Sunday) morning I asked for a discount on the gross room and was told “I can’t do anything. The manager will be here tomorrow at noon. Just call her then” It’s the worst $100/night I’ve ever spent. I know that that’s not a terrible price but I’ve definitely had better rooms at shady airport motels in Chicago.

Just about everything needs to be changed at this Hotel. It is expensive and didn't even serve any sort of breakfast. No po Pool. The room wasn't the cleaned very well.

DO NOT STAY! Absolutely disgusting. First room was so bad that we asked for another… It was even worse. They said they couldn’t refund us, and offered to show us THREE other rooms that were just as bad. The front desk referred to the room as “better than the others”. That should not be a thing. Especially with covid. All of our dance students stayed as well and they all had the same problem. Hair all over everything, stained sheets (even blood), disgusting toilets, and MOLD. Mold to the point where you could smell it. We had a non refundable room for two nights and ended up just not staying the second night. Should have taken pictures of the other things in the rooms.

I am a former employee of this disgusting place. So I'm warning this is going to he pretty graffic. I started here back in August as a night shift clerk. Appearances when you walk in were nice however it was just an appearance. 90 percent of the rooms are infested with bed bugs. The owner refuses to treat the issue after being notified by staff and addressed by customers which she yelled at and blamed them and refused refunds to. Multiple people were wrongfully charged for smoking in rooms that already reaked of smoke before they ever checked in. Ac units in almost every room barley work or dont work at all. Rooms 353 and 352 have bed bugs, the housekeeping staff steals from the guests and brag about it in their group chat. The owner illegally changed my pay to minimum wage when I accepted another job offer and quit after a customer threw a bed bug at me. The staff were renting their house keeping keys to their friends to have sex in the suites and just remade the beds with the same blankets when they were done. If you value your belongings and your deposit which were also stolen or pocketed by the owner I would not stay here. This is a trap house hotel. Its disgusting and nothing is sanitary. I was ashamed to work here and warn anyone who thought of working for this crooked Indian lady to stay away. She stole 200 dollars from me.

Good stuff always on call and polite, rooms were clean and large in space. Bathroom could be little cleaner, but no complaints. Good place to stay and not very expensive per person cost, but individual cost can be pricey.

Pool is broken, room had ripped seams on chair, scratched paint and plaster, and small fridge that needed servicing (had to unplug it to sleep at all) beds were either too worn or too firm to give support (2 queen room despite reserving a single king), doors not hung properly — would drag and bang against jams. Ramada used to be good, but this one has gone far downhill. Feels neglected, kind of like the way they neglected to tell you the pool was broken, or to cook the sausages fully in the continental breakfast. Wyndham needs to fix this property to their normal standard or sell it to keep the bad from their name.

The owner of this establishment is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I visit a lot of hotels due to my job and unfortunately there not usually 5 star hotels however the customer service has usually been a 4 or 5 … this is definitely a 1 star hotel… our key to get in our room didn’t work at least 75% if the time and then we where blamed for it not working… I know this is lengthy however think twice before u stay the night here… oh yeah the air conditioner in our room leaked in the floor… Brad the manager there was super nice … and very accommodating… but beware of the female owner no customer skills.

Do not book here! Let me start off by saying I love Wyndam facilities however this Ramada was disgusting and down right disrespectful. Booked this location for a family weekend getaway and boy did I ruin it. The beds was not made correctly, ashes on my ice tray, tobacco in my sink, garbage in the trash bin body fluids stains on bedding and furniture and if that wasn't bad enough feces in the hot tub floating around. Manager on duty was Brad and front desk attendant was Cody. Relentlessly I informed each of these individuals of the situation and acknowledged the issue at the time. When it came to fix the issues the denial of any conversation began. I have video footage of the manager Brad and maintenance personal closing the pools door on my wife body with force during us complaining. The place is old and out dated and the staff is nothing less than a disgrace to this company. Never book here!

What started out as a treat to stay in a hotel with me and my children turned in to a nightmare. Firstly, When I get to my room I realized they had placed me in the wrong type of room, I informed them of the error and they switched me to the room I had originally requested. No big deal at this point mistakes happen. However when I arrived to the second room you could clearly tell the sheets had not been changed as there was dirt and hair in the bed. A little frustrating but sometimes things get over looked so I asked if they would bring me some new sheets and blankets and I would just make the bed. We did not receive the sheets for the bedding until late in the evening and never received blankets. Secondly, after being putting the wrong room and bedding behind me I wanted to go swim in the pool with my children. Upon arrival to the pool I noted that the water was a little cloudy and the kids area had broken features but decided to let my children swim anyway, but I was appalled and disgusted to find that there was feces in the pool. I promptly pulled me and my children out of the pool and notified management who did not seem concern in the least bit. They simply looked in the pool, acknowledge the feces was there and then tried to cover it up that there was anything in the pool they did not shut the pool down or treat it, absolutely disgusting. And last but not least, when I asked to speak with management I was told that I would have to wait till Sunday morning.

The receptionist on duty was in the wrong line of work. Hospitality she was not. Nice room nice pool. But once bad experiences can ruin a good time.

Nice staff. Beds and pillows are quite firm. Breakfast selection is alright. Amenities are nice, there's a little shop in the lobby for snacks and kissing toiletries.

Wonderful staff but the hotel is older and needs some updates. Room was very worn, our toilet ran, our door lock broke, and there were weird stains everywhere. (It reminded me of something from the Shinning with the strange light fixtures and carpet) A good thing about the hotel is that it's close it the interstate, resturants, and other retail stores. Overall if they made some updates it would definitely be a four or five-star.

Checked out the pool, which as a plus had zero entry, but didn't even have the lights turned on, was very cold, and had no towels anywhere in the pool area (very unwelcoming). On top of it the hot tub was closed for rennovations with caution tape strung around it. The room was mediocre to poor, beds poorly made, no laundry bags (and the front desk didn't have any either upon request), and everything in need of updating (frayed towels and stains on the walls). The lobby had a strange smell that was very off-putting. Overall, as one member of our group said, it was probably a great hotel in its day.

Must state we live in the area and wanted to take little ones swimming. Went to hotel because they advertise a great pool area, sprayers, pool, little pool, huge hot tub etc. False false false! Water was freezing cold because no sun in pool area, hot tub broke, sprayers broke and no apologies or "we're on top of that. " Manager type even came in and watched us trying to use the facilities, said nothing to us (we were only ones there). Hotel is clean and decent. Not close to a lot though. Stay at the isle of capri or Hilton. Thanks.

Paid good money to have the hot tub in out room… Handle was broke on the faucet. There was zero instructions on how to properly use the equipment. When I finally figured it out we were able to use. Woke up the next morning had a pretty good breakfast, went to use the public pool and hot tub area. Hot tub is broke down and sectioned off with caution tape. The pool area was dirty. We got back to our room with some disappointment and decided hey, we should just use the one in our room. NOT! It had drained all but 1/4 of the tub from the night before. At that point we decided to just check out. We reported the findings to staff. They didn't give a HOOT! Didn't apologize for the inconvience. They didn't even ask how our stay was!

Not sure where to begin on this, as it was one thing after another. Upkeep and maintenance seemed marginal based on visual cues throughout the building. The treadmill didn't work as the magnet was on order, the light shut off in the exercise room after 5 minutes of cycling — and you get the pleasure of going to the front desk for a key each day before you can even get in to the exercise room. The faucet in the sink let out so little water that it took about 20 seconds to fill a small water glass. Then to top it off, the last morning for breakfast I had some of the scrambled eggs thinking they had melted cheese in them — only to hear an apology from the front desk person for the quality of the eggs, as he couldn't get them to cook well (said the microwave want working…). Needless to say, I will be paying a few more dollars a night to stay at another hotel for any future visits.

Rooms were fine. The bed was clean but the bathroom could have been a little better. My only real issue was that the eggs and sausage at breakfast were not refilled very often. Many hotels in the price range don't offer hot breakfast so it isn't a deal breaker.

Needs improvements, the beds and pillows are hard. They need to spend some money and remodel the whole place. The 1st floor towards the out of service pool, smells like Indian food.

Kids and I wanted to have a hotel night in our hometown mainly for swimming. Got here, first thing went down to the pool. It looked awful, and the hot tub wasn't working and neither was the waterfall spray play area. The kids got in, and it was freezing. They got out and there were no towels anywhere. Went to the front desk to ask if the heat could be turned up and she said no because they were remodeling. Would've been nice to know beforehand. I told them I wanted a full refund and we left. Will not return here, and I do not recommend.

We got here late and got a room for 62. But I don't know if the boy was new, but I was charged two veses on the card. I'll see if they fix it.

Before, during, and after my check in at this hotel, the front desk clerk (whom I later found out was the manager/owner of this awful hotel) was on a personal phone call the entire time; to the point where she actually gestured to me to "hold on" while she takes this personal call rather than take care of the customer. Who really does that?! On top of this, when I booked the room online, I requested a NON SMOKING & NON PET ROOM due to ALLERGIES. Instead, she had me in a smoking & pet room!. After I expressed I need a different room, she placed me in the very last/furthest room of the hotel knowing damn well there were other rooms she could of given me. I truly think she did that to be spiteful because there was no way this disgusting establishment was fully booked. I even asked if I could do a late check out. She informed me that there would be a $15 fee. Umm, no thanks. I thought because she was on her personal phone call, she could of waived that ridiculous fee but she did not. I do not recommend this poor quality hotel to anyone-even if it's just a one night stay! never again will I stay at this hotel!

Good motel at a great price. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Internet was free in room but very slow and continued to drop. Tried to stream a movie but there was no way because of the speed and unreliability. Great Old Chicago pizza place in same parking lot.

Do not stay here. I'm going to make this long nightmare as short as possible. My husband and I wanted a night away. We stay at many different hotels through out the year and thought we'd try this. The pictures make this hotel look great. But that's totally opposite of the reality of it all. We had day plans and didn't get back to our room until late. We wanted to use the hot tub after a long day. It was filthy. I had to clean it twice before we could use it. I wanted to leave just from that, but I didn't want to ruin our night. We fell asleep at 1. Shortly after I hear people stomping and slamming doors. I fell asleep on and off listening to this. I tried to call the front desk using the room phone, but it didn't work. I called on my cell and told the receptionist. She said she'd take care of it and didn't sound surprised at my complaint. 45 minutes later, the people were back at it again. I don't know when I finally fell asleep, but I woke abruptly to someone opening our door. 10:00 in the morning. Thank God we had the metal latch locked. I called the front desk again. She said sorry. 15 minutes later, someone was knocking at our door while we were trying to take a shower. Are you kidding me? I was about to lose my mind. We get out of the shower and I immediately notice food and garbage underneath the bed. Apparently, no one cleans these rooms because it would not look like this. I decided to look behind the bed and found a disgusting amount of dust, hair and dirt.

My in — laws made a 12 hour drive, and we recommended the Ramada to them as a nice place too stay, with a nice pool area. It's been a little over a year since I last stayed there, but when we met them out there, I was embarrassed to have made the recommendation. The hot tub is still broken, and has been for 2 years, the "heated" pool was ice cold (apparently the manager turned it down that day, although they knew the pool was going to be in use that evening), the walls were stripped down, none of the extra functions on the pool were turned on, and there was no longer a towel rack, just a couple folded on a chair. I didn't go into a room, so I can't comment on that, but my in — laws did complain about not being able to take a warm shower.

Love this place, clean rooms pleasant staff. Just wish they would get the hot tub fixed. Been like 2 years since it's run properly.

Attended a comic book convention. Very small room. I arrived in the am so breakfast was being served but was greeted by the workers so that was nice.

Reserved a room for a birthday party was told we could have a 4year old party then come to find out the day of they told us no and kept our deposit! Poor management. Rather stay at a motel 8 then ramada.

They do not deserve even 1 star. Our hallway smelled like a mouse died somewhere and was still rotting! Our room was non-smoking but obviously was occupied by many smokers as we couldn’t breath. Our heater was set on very low heat and kept running on high heat so was very hard to sleep so we shut it off completely and got cold bc the weather outside was 29 degrees! Our shower had mold in the ceiling! But what really made us mad was we came back after being gone all day and found a bite in our bed that said, “Due to personal items on the bed we were not able to make it. ” I️ always travel with a small blanket and small pillow and folded it before we left and out at the end of the bed so housekeeping didn’t have to mess with them. But their policy is to not make the bed because of 2 small items were setting on the bed! I️ called front desk and complained that we’ve been to hundreds of hotels in 30 years and never had anyone leave my bed unmade because if this. We will never be back here!

We made a reservation through Priceline for our first wedding anniversary was supposed to have a pool and hot tub and when we got there not operational their website did not indicate this the manager was very rude and would not give any upgrade even after talking to Priceline this place does not care about their clientele stay across the street at La Quinta great people.

Nice hotel next to Old Chicago. We had very nice stay, we will be back.

Damn! Wish I'd read the reviews before booking and staying here. Dated looking hotel. Pool was COLD. Hot tub was under construction. Room was noisy with mini-fridge and AC rattling and buzzing all night. Wi-Fi was so slow as to be useless. The only redeeming amenity was the included breakfast. Definitely NOT up to Ramada standards.

The room is about what you expect. For the most part it was clean and relatively quiet. The reasons for the one start review or as follows… 1. I arrived back at the hotel at 4pm after my first night. When I walked down the hall about a third of the doors were propped open with no one attending the hallway or the rooms. I walked into my room. The bed was waiting for the blanked to be cleaned. To me it is not acceptable to leave the doors open and unattended. 2. I went to make coffee and discovered that the pot had old coffee in and was filled with mold along with the filter. 3. The breakfast is all Carbs and no protein. This is not usable as a breakfast. I'll be staying at a hotel in the area for about 1/2 of the next 5 months. Needless to say, it will not be this hotel.

Really only giving this a 1 star because I can’t give it zero. Reserved a hot tub suite, and it was a total waste of money. The mirrors above the tub were smudged and clearly weren’t cleaned since the last use, the hot tub had hairs and dirt all over the bottom. The sheets were stained, the bed needed to be replaced years ago. It WREAKS of mold. Staff is less than pleasant, to put it nicely. Could not possibly be more disgusted. Supposed to be here another 2 nights but we will be switching hotels tomorrow. Unless the world has come to an end and this is the only place with a mattress, go elsewhere.

This hotel was horrible. They did not explain when we checked in, that there was a hidden fees of $25, that they call expenditures. You do get the $25 back… after 3-4 business days… and provided you didn't steal anything. No remote for the TV, the pool was not clean, but what really pissed me off, was the fresh blood on the sheets! Only plus was the breakfast, it was hot and ready.

Stay away. Had a reservation for Saturday. Two rooms and was charged twice and 50 for deposit. The front desk ladys name was Rica and said she couldn't do nothing about it. I then asked for her boss or cooperate and she said was the boss. I said I want to talk to someone who is higher than you. She didn't have the numbers to either one. Which she has to know the bosses number to call for emergency. Now waiting from cooperate to see if anything will get fixed. The lady even took the payment when I called on the 27th and is telling us it didn't come out but it did. We got a text stating that it was charged with all of the other charges she took off.

I give a negative 0. Stay away from here. The place charged us twice wjich was total 511 and wanted 50 dollar deposit. Wouldn't let us stay and wouldn't refund none the money. Rica the lady at the desk said she couldn't fix it or refund the money and then refused to give us cooperates number and when asked for her boss she said she was which is untrue. It's Mr. Patel not Rica. Very unhappy with how this hotel delt with what happen and to know this has happened to others. Be very careful if u do stay here. They prefer to rip others off.

We had a reservation reserved by credit card and told the receptionist we would be arriving late in the night following entertainment. Upon our arrival we were told there were NO ROOMS available. We stated we had one reserved. The rude night receptionist told us two rooms were double booked and we no longer have any rooms. She told us we could go to a sister hotel and rambled off an address. No call was made to inform us and no arrangements were prepared to relocate us. Awful service!

Reasonable rooms at a very good price. Nothing to complain about, given the price. It was clean and had everything you need, including a good continental breakfast. Not over the top fancy, though; don't expect a luxury experience or anything.

The place was sharp. Clean rooms and breakfast in the morning as much do the other hotels.

Booked a room here for Bix Weekend through Orbitz. Within just 24 hours of booking, an emergency came up which prevented me from running the race and using my reservation. While attempting to get a refund on a room that would undoubtedly re-book, I went through hell. Ramada re-directed me to Orbitz every chance they got and even ignored Orbitz's phone calls when the hotel tried to contact them on my behalf. After multiple attempts at explaining these rare circumstances, The Ramada-Bettendorf held true to their no-refund policy. They have made it clear that despite being in the "hospitality" industry, the customer comes second. I highly recommend that you take all of your business elsewhere. La Quinta & Fairfield Inn are priced similarly and located just minutes away on the other side of I-74, I have had pleasurable experiences with both of these hotels and suggest you use them in your trip to the quad cities.

Good hotel. Service was fine. Included breakfast buffet was adequate although carb-heavy. Room is a little out-dated but that didn't affect my experience with sleeping. Would stay here again!

Hotel hot tub was broken as well the ac was not working in the lobby or the pool area. The pool was dirty and had no towels. The hotel looked run down, paint chipping from the walls and tape holding the carpet together. You get what you pay for.

Fun pool. Hot tub was out of order. Pool includes a splash pad, regular pool, and fun whirl pool area. Room had a funny smell, but includeded a fridge with freezer. Breakfast was only ok. Had waffles, sausage, French toast, orange juice, pastries, cold cereal, and apples. Apple juice was out of order, and no eggs or other hit items were available. The only coffee was watered down instant coffee (Nescafe).

The price for a one night was great. People were friendly. The cable did not match up to the guide. The mirrors were not clean or the bathtub. The breakfast did not provide healthy options except for yogurt and one type of apples. There was a lot of grain foods (waffle, bread, 4 cereals, 2 types of muffins, 2 types of danishs, bagels, and english muffin). They also had sausage and scramble eggs. The hot tub was closed : (

This was not a good experience at all. We needed to check in to change clothes for a wedding, but there was an extra charge for early check in before 3:00 so needed to find other accommodations to get ready for the wedding. We asked for extra pillows and blankets and was told that there was probably no extra pillows. Never heard of a hotel that does not have extra pillows. We did eventually get pillows though. There was one trash can in the room and that was in the bathroom. Had a hard time figuring out the television as there were no instructions. Thankfully the staff member that brought the blankets was able to explain how to get the channels. Usually Ramada has a good reputation, so not sure what happening with this one. I was disappointed in the hotel experience.

The husband and I stayed for one night. Checked in 5/28/16. We were told the room would only be $89 after tax. Come to find out the hotel has now (4 days later) charged us a total of 4 times! Adding up to nearly $500. Being a young couple with a brand new baby, you can only image how much this has really affected us. When we talked to the GENERAL MANAGER she just kept telling us there was nothing she could do over and over again. Needless to say this has been an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE experience. And we have contacted both the Better Business Bureau and Iowa Commissioners Attorneys Office! They are THIEVES at this hotel and we are NOT going to let them get away with this!

Windows were open upon checkin without a screen allowing for many bugs including a giant spider to appear in room. Room was very dirty with a lot of dust everywhere. The resident book was sticky and to gross yo touch. The hot tub was not working, as well as the kiddie pool. One part of the night entered the pool only to have an huge wave of marijuana smell. The breakfast was okay but the biscuts were stale, but the muffins were great.

Huge rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent room for the rate. $79 walking in the door. Rigs been down for 2 days. Wish I found this place last night.

I'm giving this five stars so my review is seen. This was by far the worst hotel expirience I have ever had. From the moment we checked we were warned that no one can use the pool other than hotel guests, which nowhere is there a notice that there are no other guests allowed in your room or the pool area other than hotel guest and they don't even say it with a smile on their faces. Since we already had family waiting there they came in our room and as we got into our outdated dusty room we got a phone call letting us know there are "no parties" allowed or again any people that are not guest in their hotel allowed inside the rooms. What kinda of hotel tells you you can't have anyone in your room. Pretty creepy that they watched us walk back to our rooms even though they had a lobby full of people. Nazis, id say. Absolutely Absurd. I'm glad we left because the place was a dump anyways. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else.

Horrible the rooms were typical but the front desk was so rude. Then we were told we could not swim because we had 2 cousin's join us. Do not waste your money.

Hotel was clean but beds were old and sunken in, hot tub was out of order, and there's no heater in the pool room so my kids couldn't swim since it was so cold in there, the hallway also smelled had good to stay for the night. Only stayed here because the pool looked awesome but didn't even swim since the water was so cold and there wasn't a heater.

Stayed here with our three children. Disappointed we were not informed at the time of booking the hot tub was out of order. The paint is chipping in the pool room. We also went to the little market room for snacks to discover nothing was restocked. Out of a list of about 50 items there were about 5 types of snacks with about one of each available. While at the pool there were no clean towels. We were told to go to our rooms and someone would bring us some when they had clean towels. (20minutes later). Very disappointed in our stay.

Was better last year. They are cutting corners this year and it shows.

I love staying at this Ramada inn because of its family friendliness. We stay in the family suite which has I king bed and pull out couch in one room and twin/full bunk beds with pull out couch in the other. Two rooms ajointing are included in the family suite. Another thing I enjoy with this hotel is the pool area. They start with a zero entry pool that has water spraying from the ground and a large mushroom fountain, from there you go into an attached regular hotel pool, but at the other end of that is an awesome "whirl pool". And I don't mean hot tub. It is a pool that swirls around like a whirl pool. Trust me it's a lot of fun for kids. They also have a very large hot tub but unfortunately it was out of order this time (the reason I gave it 4/5 stars) breakfast is nothing exceptional the Normal hot/cold breakfast items. I have not used the fitness facilities or office/meeting rooms, I go there for family getaways. Best hotel in the quad cities for families in my opinion!

Was very disappointed in the front desk staff. We were not informed that the hot tub was out of service and they were not willing to do anything to make our stay pleasant. Was scheduled for a 2 night stay but cancelled the second night. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Stayed here a few times. The internet never works properly/constantly has issues. When you complain about it they pass you off to a 3rd party support hotline that is not helpful. I will avoid this hotel in the future.

We have a large family so we rented a dual room. The main room still had crepe paper on the walls from the party thrown previously and the dresser had sticky substances on it in numerous locations. The second room was worse, It appeared that the hotel staff used this as a breakroom and had quickly "picked" up prior to our arrival. The floor had clearly not been vacuumed and the table was covered in what I hope was dry soda. Additionally there were multiple large piles of dirt on the spiral staircase, showcased, in the front of the hotel. We were offered a crib for our youngest child but 45 minutes later were told that they were unable to find the mattress.
