This Choice Hotel location REFUSED to extend the Choice Hotel Priveleges that I earned as a Loyal Customer. I stay with this chain 5x a week for work and needed to request late check out to complete a couple errands and was told NO by the front desk, who also REFUSED to double check his decision with the ownership. This Hotel want the benefits of advertising as a Choice Property but WILL NOT extend members the benefits they have earned. I am a Diamond Level Member with well over 120 stays this year already. If you are a choice member and need any of the benefits you have earned… pick another hotel… stay away from sleep inn, washington, il. ZERO Stars.

Stayed here for 4 days on a surprise visit for my dads birthday. Clean friendly and comfortable would be five star except we booked this hotel under the premise that they had cribs and confirmed on the phone only to find out once we arrived they considered pack n plays cribs. Otherwise the stay was fantastic and the kids loved swimming in their pool.

Rooms are nice and overall it was a pretty good stay but communication with management and contacting someone that is at the actual location of the hotel is difficult.

Convenient to the wedding we were attending. A no-frills hotel, but a decent pool and gym.

I only stayed for the night, but the rooms were clean, the pool was a nice size and heated, the breakfast is 6 to 9, they have plenty of options. Workers were very polite, will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in Washington, Illinois.

Rooms were clean enough. Pool was filthy and I saw no one swimming in it all weekend. Night manager was very abrasive and really needs a different line of work.

Room was large and comfortable. Amenities were very nice. Plenty of room to move around in.

Ants in bathroom. Woke up and had some in bed and on night stand. Glad I only spent one night. Other than that its a good hotel.

It was nice, but the shower in the suite room was leaking where it was connected to the wall. The morning staff was very pleasant. I wasn't satisfied because I made an online resorvation and they charged me more than what I expected, and put a hold on my card for damages which I was told they didn't do.

Checked in late at night, and was extremely tired. Left my ID in the car and had to go back out and get it. The girl at the desk was very patient, considerate, and friendly. Room was clean, and lots of variety for breakfast.

The room was clean as was the bed. My wife got a great night's sleep… Not so much for myself as the bed was to hard.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff too. Breakfast buffet was very sub par. All microwave food. I would still stay here again, there are lots of wonderful restaurants around to eat breakfast at.

Hotel was clean and nice but had a terrible night sleep due to the awful pillows.

Horrible room. I opted for the suite, considering it was my honeymoon, only to find that the mattress I was about to sleep on was covered in packing tape. Once removed, there were blood stains all over the mattress that they were trying to cover. When contacting the front desk, she said she could not do anything, and that the manager would take care of it in the morning. We did not get a room change, nor did they try to reimburse me. I did not ever hear from him. Definitely do not recommend.

Sign leading in was easily noticeable, help staff was kind and courteous, room was what we were looking for. Only small negative was that the hot tub was down for repairs, which was no big deal at all!

Had to give it only 3 stars. I have a bad back and the bed is horrible.

The rooms were really nice and well kept. The continental breakfast was pretty decent as well. Front desk service could have been a little better, but overall enjoyed my stay.

It was very clean and they were friendly to us. We had no complaints.

They are a bit too rigid on check in and out times. At 1:00 there were 2 cars in the parking lot and I could not get a room until 4. As I waited, everyone was told the same. At 4:00… Every room was now clean and ready. Checkout was the same… They were knocking on my door at 10:30 to see if I was leaving soon.

I love this suites! There are so comfortable.

Sleep Inn was a nice, clean house. It was fine for a one night stay in Washington, Illinois. It was close to my relatives house and the church where my niece was being Christened.

Decent rooms, friendly staff, average breakfast.

We were in town for a family wedding. It was a quick trip, we only stayed one night. The room was fun but my wife accidentally left her dress in the hotel and we didn't realize it until we were back in Pittsburgh. The hotel staff didn't want to help us at all and finally offered that we could send a pre-paid envelope inside another paid envelope to them which we found out would cost over $40 via UPS or FedEx. It was an honest mistake but nobody here wanted to even try and help us. Choice Hotels wouldn't help us at all either so we've just written the dress off at this point. Hopefully somebody at the hotel at least took it home so it's getting worn.

The conference room was cold! So bring a jacket! And there's only one bathroom. But I had a great experience overall.

Pool was extremely cold not pleasant to swim in at all, and the floor around it had green algae or something from water standing abs not properly draining off. However my family members that were staying there did not have any complaints about the room.

Great service, staff is very friendly. Very clean rooms. Has a pool. Not the best breakfast I've had at a hotel.

Reserved several rooms for my daughters birthday party with friends. Everything was great including the pool, breakfast and cleanliness of the hotel.

We used this hotel for a block of room for our wedding. Everything was pretty good, heard from alot of guests that beds were not great, personallu, my and my newly wife's bed was not great, lumpy and comfortable. Overall not bad though.

Room was acceptable, found out odd we had breakfast coupons.

No fridge or microwave in the room. Jacuzzi isn't very good. Walls are very thin. Good for sleeping and that is it. So I guess it's aptly named.

While my stay there was nice, it has been the events afterwards that has caused me to write this poor review. I stayed here from May 29 through May 31 with no real issues with the hotel. Earlier this week I received my credit card statement with a $200 charge on it. When I called they said it was for smoking in the room (which I didn't do) and they claim to have photo evidence from the cleaning staff. I asked for the photos to be sent to me and gave them my email address, however they have yet to send anything. This isn't the only time they have failed to follow up with me. On Friday, May 29 at around 11:30 PM there was a loud explosion sound from somewhere on the second floor. I contacted the front desk about it, and they claimed they didn't hear it, but will investigate and follow up with me, but they never did. The sad part about this is that the hotel is actually a really nice place, it's just their inability to follow up and charging for violations that didn't occur which makes me rate this place with only one star.

I like most things about this place. However they seem to have intentionally blocked access to the HDMI ports on their TV via the mounting bracket. If that sort of thing matters to you.
