The hot tub is not working was told that the pool was 86 well I took the temperature it was 67 the side of the mattress is all stained up. On the side.

Super clean beds nice and soft and breakfast was good. This is a fairly new facility as well. No disappointments here.

Bed Bugs, stay away! My Husband and I stayed there September 4th 2021 for his Birthday. We were going to Chicago the next day. We stayed in room 301. The room was nice and clean. I woke up around 5:30 in the morning and there was a bed bug right beside my face. I jumped up and woke my Husband up. He thought I was crazy at first because it looked like a nice place. He started looking and found 3 more. We started to go through all of our belongings to make sure there wasn’t any on our things so we could hurry up and get out of there. Within the hour it took for us to shower to make sure there wasn’t any on us and get our stuff to the car My husband already had bites showing up. My Husband went to tell the manager Harry. He said he would have it investigated and call us in a hour. My Husband said no, come to the room and I will show you. My Husband showed him the 3 he killed and a live one. Harry tried to play it off and say every now and then a bed bug shows up and offered us a free night in another room. My Husband refused and asked for our money back. Harry still said he would have the room investigated and call us in a hour or 2 and refund our money. We were so freaked out we didn’t go to Chicago, we went home. My Husband’s Birthday trip was ruined. We live 5 hours from home. By then my Husband was ate up. He had 13 on his forehead and about 60 on his body. Mine didn’t start showing up until we were home a few hours.

On Sunday June 27th, 2021 at this hotel found nasty disgusting bed bugs in room 212, Please see picture, if all possible avoid this place. We had a very scary experience. Yuk!

This is 1 of the worst hotels I HAVE EVER stayed in!. There was food scattered on floor thru out the entire room. The shower drain is closed and can't be opened. The sink drain is plugged and the water won't drain out. There was only 1 bath towel for showering. The door was also locked from the inside and had to be jimmied opened with a coat hanger. There is water damage on the ceiling which looks like it damaged the curtains. They are a disgusting shade of yellow/water stained. If it wasn't late we would have left immediately. Disgusting!

Great place to relax…

Upon arrival I was not allowed to check in until I gave a $50 CASH deposit even though my room was fully paid for and they had my card on file. I also was not told about this. My daughter soaked one of the pool towels that you have to request at the front desk, and I hung it over a chair and left it there. Upon check out they went to check that We didn’t destroy our room and even counted our dirty towels. I was almost not given my $50 cash deposit back because she said I was missing a pool towel. I explained I left it at the pool and thankfully another staff heard me arguing with her and said she found a towel at the pool the night prior. This was extremely weird and felt shady. We did end up getting our money back but it was strange I have never ever had to do this at a hotel before.

It was very dirty rooms. Hair all over the shower and in the beds. And then when we told them about it they did nothing. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Refrigerator don't work microwave don't work air conditioner halfway does.

We booked a room with a jacuzzi tub. It was a fabulous room! the pool was great for my boys! the breakfast was delicious! Thanks for a great stay!

Very nice rooms the desk clerk. Was very nice and let us know where to get really good food kudos to the very helpful. Young lady. If we are back in this area we will stay here breakfast was nice very warm staff.

Rude front desk service. Noticed we had been charged a deposit which is fine but let your customers know this! When asked front desk she acted like It was my fault I did not know. Very rude.

Loved the suite and breakfast! Our only issue was that the air conditioning was behind… unable to keep the room comfortable. We loved our stay though… place is great!

We stayed for a wedding. We had a clean room, plenty of towels, and a great breakfast. I would recommend a stay at this hotel. We only had a slight issue with calling and making a reservation. When we got into check-in and check-out we had great service at the front desk. We had our one-year-old daughter with us and were very pleased to have a high chair there at breakfast time. We also really enjoyed the pool and the lobby. It was also in a great location next to the interstate to get to and from where we needed to go.

Very clean! Comfy beds & super clean linens. The pool had to be our favorite amenity with an under the sea theme and fresh paint. We will defiantly male it a point to book at this hotel when in town. Dorothy made me & my family feel very welcome with a clean, fresh breakfast space. Thank you Dorothy!

Clean and most of the staff are decent. The front desk lady was a little on the rude side. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. Nice size room.

On our trip back from Chicago to Louisiana, we stopped at this Hotel overnight. The room was great, very affordable, clean, extremely roomy and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was hot with a large variety of things to choose from. Dorothy, the breakfast attendant was a delight to talk to and she had that area spotless! We would definitely stop there again!

Room was small for suite, but well appointed. Walls need to be cleaned, there is many layers of stains and grime.

Stayed for 6 hours to sleep and to shower. Over good for that.

Very nice hotel and can not beat the price. We came in from out of state for a funeral and had to get a hotel based on pictures and reviews and first picked super 8 in Taylorville and we ran out of that room it was horrible and just added to our stress. I booked a room here and was thrilled with the service and room…

Rooms were nice. Had an indoor pool but not enough seating to watch your kids. Friendly service. Clean.

By registering online and having a wonderfully nice and efficient desk clerk I literally was checked in had my room key and was in my room in 5 minutes. And since it was nasty wintry weather I went straight to the hot tub which is in a separate outdoor like greenhouse building really nice. The hotel shares a parking lot with Denny's if you don't want their decent breakfast. The coffee is in a separate area then the breakfast nook so be prepared.

Hotel location is convenient. Room was clean and amenities are good.

Hotel was nice staff was pleasant. No issues with the room. Way too much chlorine in the pool. You could smell it as you enter the hotel.

Very nice room. Plenty of room, amenities were all there. I had a dog with and he found no issues with the room either. When something is not fresh or not clean he seeks it out and I usually pay attention to what he finds. The staff was friendly and helpful. 4 stars instead of 5 only because the "free" breakfast was a little on the slim side. It was all warm, prepared correctly and covered most of the normal breakfast items but it appeared there was only warmed up premade items — an example — no bacon, fresh eggs etc. The eggs were premade patties I assume you have with a biscuit etc. We will stay here again, but I will be more realistic about exceptions for breakfast.

This hotel is clean and comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff; but the rooms, while comfortable, could be a bit more spacious (the reason that I rated it four stars instead of five). The desk clerk was able to direct us to an excellent restaurant on historic Route 66, and the complimentary breakfast was very good.

The room was simple, but clean. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was a very easy stay!

Lovely indoor pool. Room was good with coffee, full size fridge and microwave. Breakfast was reasonable with plenty of food. Free parking. Bar and restaurant within walking distance.

The staff was easy to work with on our difficult driving schedule. We arrived really late at night and left pretty early and they were accommodating to everything we needed. We didn't stay long enough to get a really good idea of things.

We stayed on the third floor and walked into our room to find that the A/C unit was off. Took a while for the room to get even just cooled off, but it was freezing when we woke up. It was a great place, especially after driving for 9 hours. Only bad thing was the initial room temperature. Thanks for a great stay, Baymont!

Really nice hotel. It's close to the highway (55) and lots of places to eat. Very clean. Very quiet during the week. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. Free breakfast. We will be staying here again!

Staff was very kind. Enjoyed my stay here until I arrived at home and discovered 2 items with the tags still on them had disappeared from my luggage.

Our room had a lot of nice perks. There were lots of outlets and USB ports.

Located close to the interstate, stores, and restaurants. Has a pool, fitness center, and a small amenaties shop as well as complimentary toiletries (beyond soap). Very modern, comfortable and affordable.

Cleanliness of a motel/hotel, the room, and the breakfast area are my top priorities when staying somewhere and this Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations. Everything was clean, well lighted, and nicely decorated. Would highly recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay when visiting the Litchfield and St. Louis area. Breakfast had great selection of warm and cold foods too.

The room was quite and clean. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi while watching a movie.

Brand new hotel! The staff is very friendly. Very clean and comfortable rooms. There is a free breakfast that makes up for the room price. Would stay again.

Horrible service. First off the loaction changed without notification. The lady on the phone could not do discount and said the person at check in could. When we got to the correct hotel smelled like plastic and the person on duty could not use the coupon we had but was nice to give us military discount. He lied right to our face about the coupon saying if we didnt call ahead there would be no rooms but then answered the phone and said they had rooms. After sleeping the night decied to go to the pool which did not have a whirlpool like stated. When we were in the pool there was guys working on the electricity of the pool which is not safe. After talking to the manager and getting no where, we will never be staying at this loaction again very disapointed in holiday inn company.

If you're looking for a hotel with wireless access from your room, forget about this place. I recently spent 6 days there, as I had business in the area. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because they advertised free wireless. However, during the 6 days I was there, wireless access worked only one day and part of another.
