Beautiful lobby area, nice rooms.

Was there for the AEW Fan Fest and AEW Heels this past Saturday. My vehicle's battery died Mya tried to see if any rooms where available but everything was sold out. She needs a raise for her great customer service. The security helped tried jumping my vehicle no go because it was truly dead.

Came for a convention and was late to multiple classes because the elevators were not working and I was literally stuck on level 4. The stairs went out to the roof. There’s only elevators on the one side of the hotel so you have to walk a mile from your hotel room to even get to one.

Terrible restaurant. Servers didn’t check on us, forget drinks, and food. They were under staffed and unable to accommodate us during our lunch break at the convention. It was the ONLY restaurant at the hotel.

The Bartender on Saturday the 5th of February 2022, was extremely rude. She had Black hair and we could not see her name tag. I understand being short staff, but for her to be rude on top of long waits was not good. She would not acknowledge that we were trying to get her attention, and just kept swinging her ponytail around. Her tone of voice was unprofessional when she announced there were refreshments down stairs, like people at the BAR were wanting refreshments. A man came in to help and he was extremely pleasant. Never again… we will be glad to pack our own drinks next time and save our money. You should be embarrassed for having someone like her working for you.

Awesome lobby area with lots of great seating options to hang out. The bar has great lunch and drinks. The coffee shop is convenient, just wish it stayed open later for those who need a night time coffee or something quicker than a sit down dinner.

Fabulous customer service! I stay at this property 1 to 2 weeks per month for business and I have been incredibly happy with the service. Especially during Covid times, this property is clean, professional and overall just delightful. Megan at the front desk goes out of her way to be sure that I have everything I need. Big thumbs up!

The entire experience was absolutely phenomenal. Chef Drew came out at least 3 times to our table at Sam and Harry’s Dining to check on us and make sure we had absolutely everything. The staff even greeted us with Veuve Croquet at the start of the meal. Experience was one for a lifetime. Now — the food! We cannot say anymore — it was beyond fine dining and every taste was too good to be true. We had our wedding at the venue and celebrating our anniversary here: Chef surprised us with an entire 6” wedding cake just like our wedding day! We were blown away! Thank you to the entire Renaissance staff for making this such an over the top, unforgettable, special, surprise experience for us!

Beautiful spacious hotel. Good food selections and a lot of area to sit around and relax. We were here for the In10sity dance competition and the rehearsal and stage had a Ton of space. Staff was nice. Overall good experience.

Even though the Adepticon convention fills the whole place to the gills, the staff are friendly and efficient. Good food at reasonable prices at the Gather Bar, too.

Spent 2 nights Nov 2nd — 3rd for a church leadership conference. My room was lovely and the hotel in general was well equipped with amenities such as onsite restaurants and helpful staff. The location allowed for places to eat and or shop for groceries or retail near by. It’s also close to O’hare.

My stay was very relaxing. I was there for business, but I was able to relax. There were a lot of youth and young adults there, but the noise level, atleast on my floor was very low. I slept without interruption. I linked the bluetooth speaker in the room to YouTube and slept to the sounds of a thunderstorm. The registration and service staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a trek from the parking lot to the building on a cold and windy day, but it didn't ruin my stay. I plan to stay there again when business brings me to the area.

We attended a MINEFAIRE event at the convention center. The convention room was huge and very well organized. Parking was cheap and within walking distance of the front doors. Parking attendants were kind and helpful. Exhibitors were friendly. Bathrooms were clean. The only negative was the prices… one small bottle of water was $5.00.

Perfect spot for Minefaire. I had a full day ahead of me and was concerned that our snacks would run out. No worries — concessions were available. Bathrooms were nice, and the event was magical for our son. I'd love to stay as a guest sometime.

We visited here a week and a half ago for a dog grooming expo. The folding chairs that were used were extremely cheap, flimsy, and most missing the rubber stoppers at the bottom. Several people had the chairs collapse under them, one of them being my husband. NO ONE from the hotel or rental company came to ask if he was ok. I know that other people had to fill out incident reports for the same situation. Unfortunately he actually badly injured his arm/elbow. It was to the point where he had to miss work and see a doctor. He ended up having a bruised bone, and being in a sling. For such a nice facility, you would think that chairs would be the last thing to skimp on. I definitely would avoid going here. One visit cost us over a grand in missed work and a doctors visit.

Great staff very knowledgeable about local area and very customer service oriented. Coming back in Oct for a conference and I know the service will be top notch. Rooms are clean, common areas well kept, and in house restaurant serves excellent cuisine.

The Renaissance means quality and this is definitely it. The lobby is beautiful. The club Lounge on the top floor overlooks The Fountains outside. The drinks at the bar are strong and the beds are the most comfortable. The staff at the front desk was nothing but helpful, we had to cut through the downtown traffic and after hours in the car they got us right into our room. Everything was perfect cleaned and updated… The parking isn't the most convenient but there's plenty of it and it's included with the room. We took a walk around the Butterfly Garden and fountain and enjoyed the wildflowers.

Attended a Graduation Event and loved the property layout and aesthetics. I'm sure the rooms would reflect the same nature. Would love to try it out for an overnight stay.

I attended a wedding at the convention center and the facility blew me away. Beautifully organized and structured, plenty of space for visitors to enjoy themselves. The inside had trees and fountains that made it feel so peaceful and calming. I would definitely recommend this place for future events.

I forgot to mention it would have been nice if the staff had made us aware of the microwaves on the floors. We had no need our first stay but this stay we did. Found out af. He er calling seeking a place to heat our leftover food. The toilet stopped flushing o ud as well. Maintenance had to come and replace the handle the morning we left. It stopped flushing in the night. He, was very nice and did leave a 10.00 card for a spot to eat in the hotel. He had to change the handle. That's not a complaint. Oh, one last thing. On day one b4 we had even unpacked anything. Housekeeping came up, knocked on the door, before I could get to the door, shed opened the door and let herself in
She was bringing a pad and pen saying previous housekeeper forgot to leave such, that was not the case. We ended up with 2 pens 2 pads. On the way out, housekeeping came to the room 3 times checking om our departure. Anxious to clean I suppose. Again, beautiful hotel, staff just weren't communicating very good at all with one another nor with that crew that were going the roads.

The convention floor is a good, decent size for a small convention. I would estimate the size of the floor to be about the size of two field houses. There is food available in the floor and two sets of good size bathrooms, one on each end. My biggest complaint is that there's on inadequate parking near the convention entrances. Arriving 30 minutes after the doors opened, the convention parking was full and we had to park on the opposite side of the hotel to be able to easily get parking that was close to doors the public could use. Now given that the parking is free, it's not something that should dissuade you from attending but just be aware.

I was here for Brickworld Chicago 2018. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean but only have those air hand dryers that you have to stick your hands into and move up and down to get them dry. It was a little tricky for my 4 year old but not a big deal, just wish they had some paper towels too. There's also a concession stand, I didn't get anything but saw some people that had pizza and soft drinks from there. It's nice to have the option to get food inside. The only negative is parking, they need way more parking spaces. If you're coming here for an event, get there early or you'll be hunting for parking for a long time. Otherwise, no complaints.

When I say this place tops them all, I mean it! Well, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but I really love the place. It’s nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable. You don’t hear hallway noise or people in the next room. The pool area is clean and the dining options are good. My husband was so impressed, he will not stop talking about the next “staycation” we have and how we’re going there.

From our check in experience to the clean and comfortable bed, it was a friendly and smooth transition. We were there for an Audio Conference. What a great place to host a show! Great hotel staff, loved the bar/grill service and food. Harry and David Steakhouse was a nice experience. I like hotels that have artistic style. Great location as it is only a train ride into Chicago albeit it take 45 minutes.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The staff there are excellent, very nice, professional and fun! We stayed there for a convention and you know they had to have been tired of all these people coming in and being crazy, but they were so nice and helpful. Great food recommendations too! I had a problem with my room and they fixed it no problem. The hotel itself is beautiful with awesome seating areas all over the main floor, plenty of places to sit and relax and hang out with others. The room is gorgeous, comfortable and CLEAN. Love this place.

What a great place for a Convention! The convention rooms are clean and spacious. The public areas in the hotel are modern and inviting. The rooms exceeded my expectations — contemporary and comfortable with a city view. Close to a shopping mall and great restaurants. The salt-water pool and fitness centre were a bonus! My family enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. My overall impression was this place is excellent!

Terrance was our front desk attendant, he was more than helpful. Me and my family more than enjoyed our stay. We felt like kings and queens from the moment we entered to the moment we left. I would highly recommend having your breakfast delivered to your room. Spot on service.

Great venue. The staff is outstanding. Made great accommodations to the needs of my group. The venue is well set up for large conventions or small meeting or classes. The venue tends to run warm in the winter time so check your coat early. Very walkable to food and attractions in the area. But, they also have a shuttle service that runs regularly.

More like 7 stars if you ask me. Everything here is top notch, including all the dining options. We enjoyed a stay for a convention and were truly impressed how well this place is run. Not to mention it's beautiful. We'll definitely return in the future! ☺

I was here for a work party, and it was really good. The food was pretty dang good for one of those "puck steak or chicken" type of dinners. I should probably take a star off because the bartender had to look up a Ton Collins, and still made it wrong, but what the hell. The staff was great and it was a great evening.

The rooms were clean and the staff was absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant attached was delicious and had a perfect atmosphere. Kudos to the bar staff. They also have a bar in the lobby which had a nice list of bourbon and whisky, none too fancy or over the top, but an average Joe would easily find interest in their selection. The bartending staff was busy but always attentive. Every staff member acknowledged me when I was out and about. It's to my understanding that they also have a shuttle service available, though I didn't use that service. This hotel also features a nice clubhouse for premium members near the top floor of the hotel. While I was not invited to join, it appeared to be fancy and well appointed.

The convention center is easy to navigate. In addition, there are plenty of places to get a beverage, snack, or bite to eat. Unlike many convention center, Renaissance Schaumburg didn't feel drafty or cold — — there was a consistent, pleasant ambient temperature inside to counter the cold winter weather outside. The rooms at the center are spacious, and acoustics surprisingly good for such large, open spaces. This was a great location for the midwest's Irish dance regional competition, and a return here would be welcome.

Room was well comfortible.

This is a great place to go to shows. We went to the Greater Chicago RV Show. Although the downside is how expansive tickets are to a show that is selling stuff. $22 for 2 people is a little much. Luckily we found discount coupons online for our show even though the lady wanted to argue about the coupon. So, we ended up paying $16 for 2 tickets. Great vendors and a beautiful venue. I loved the family bathroom.

It's VERY clean, easily accessible off a main road. I was actually there for an evening focus group. The parking lot is close to the venue, but when I came out at the end of my focus group it was not well lit. Kind of scary since there was only a handful of cars out there, maybe they don't turn the lights on unless it's a large gathering?. If you ate having an event there it might be a good idea to ask that they be turned on just to ensure the safety and comfort of your guests. I only ran into two employees of the actual venue while there, kinda creepy and weird.

Nice conference hotel. Modern but comfortable decor. The service was on par for Marriott. However I would expect more luxury amenities considering how this hotel is branded, ie an on site spa, etc. Room service was acceptable however the fee is disproportionate if you're dining alone for breakfast. Overall, the location and price suited my needs and if probably return if I needed to.

We were there for a social event. We had an amazing dinner and the bar had a great selection. This wasn't our first time visiting so I knew ahead of time that they have great service!

I attended the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center for a fashion and jewelry Expo. The convention center was very easily accessible. Parking with easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The convention center itself was very well design and clean. Great experience.

Went for an event so didn't stay in rooms but convention center was big, easy to get around. The lobby with restaurants and coffee shops was also so lovely. Really nice to sit and grab some coffee and very clean. Easy parking too.

The hotel is nice. Conveniently located right off a tollway, near Woodfield Mall and not far from the Fashion Premium Outlet. The hotel also is near many good restaurants too. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I'd recommend it, if it's near where you want to be.

Overall the place was very clean and the rooms were very nice decorated. We went to a convention there and the place is pretty large. They had a great amount of parking so we didn't have to walk far to get in. I felt that overall the place was very organized and well kept. Definitely would recommend to a friend or family.

The building was easily accessible from the street. The concierge was very nice and offered to take out bags up. The hotel was very clean. The bed was super comfy I would definitely be back to this hotel.

Very nice convention center. The rooms were less expensive than I had expected and the indoor/outdoor pool was very nice. The restaurant/bar area was also very nice and comfortable. Food was decent and I would eat there again.

The hotel is amazing. The room and bedding are comfortable. The decor is new and inviting. Great staff. The pool and gym are one of the best facilities I have experienced. Attendant brought me a bottled water while I was running on tread mill. I'm felt pampered the whole time. Only wish my stay was longer.

The interior design was amazing. The beds were so comfy. The food at the event we attended was delicious. The pool and fitness room were great. They even had bags and giant Jenga by the pool and an outside space to tan.

The place was filthy. It was the dirtest convention hall I've ever been to. The toilets were over flowing, filth all over the ladies rooms, conventions floors were disgusting, dirty tables. What a disaster. I will never step into that nasty place again. I'm contact Scrapbook Expo to please pick somewhere else. Pigs must run that place.

Room was very clean and upscale, there is a TV in the mirror in the bathroom, the mirror in the bathroom was heated so the center doesn't fog up. The beds very comfortable, and pillows ranged from hard to soft. The concierge very helpful in recommendations for food and attractions. Definitely looking forward to the convention I am coming in October to attend at this hotel. I came out ahead of time to get an idea of what to expect in October and I know it will be a great experience thanks to the exceptional service I received this visit.

We had a terrific time at the Renaissance this week. They hosted our dance team nationals event. Despite the chaos of all the young girls the staff easily kept everything in order. Fabulous food in the bar area was a pleasure to go back too over and over. Of special note, our server Kristine was top notch. Remembering all the drink orders and even the special food requests from members of our large party who where not with us on future visits. I have been here many times over the past 8 or so years. And have never been disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful, with great staff, dining, and many different conference rooms, from small receptions to enormous events. The gym has all the right amenities and a good pool for families, though for people swimming laps it may be underwhelming. Best of all is vip dining area and lounge, with an amazing terrace overlooking the front of the building.

Was there for an expo, great venue. Nice and clean. Excellent service. Expensive though.

Renaissance Hotel Schaumburg, IL — recent stay. Great location — close to two major highways. Easy to airport, and trips onto the city. Plenty of places to go shopping along with terrific eating nearby. Hotel is beautiful. Great property. Wonderful staff made everything easy and comfortable. The room was perfect. Clean and well decorated. If staying in this area, chose this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

While I had no direct interaction with the staff, the convention center is spacious and well equipped. We were one of two large groups utilizing the convention center and I still found that there was ample space and facility for both groups. With the good looking decor I would say this an excellent location to plan your next professional event.

The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Guest services employees were very helpful and friendly. Gathering places (restaurant, lounge) were comfortable but very loud. Drink and food prices were on the high side, but quality and quantity were above average. Overall, pleased with my stay.

Nice rooms & friendly staff. They overbooked significantly during our convention & were offering penalty-free cancelations + a $50 gift card so we were paranoid we might lose our room, but no problems. The on-site concessions aren't great & are outrageously overpriced ($4.50 for a Bottle of soda?! ) but there is a free shuttle & plenty of nearby restaurants.

We are staying at the hotel for Adepticon. The venue is really well lay out for a convention. Parking is adequate, room are clean and well furnished. Fridge in the room is a big plus. Location is great close to tons of shopping and restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

They do what they say say what they do. The hotel is very accommodating employees are very flexible in several situations. In a catering situation, the food was excellent and the service was very attentive throughout our meeting. In addition, there was some sort of kids programming going on and the hotel worked around it blocked off sections to where kids could not even come close to our meeting thereby making it a nonissue. That's just outstanding management services in my opinion, great job Marriott great job.

We attended the "World's Greatest Hobby" touring show at the Schaumburg convention center. The show was a great time for the kids and the facilities were fairly modern and appropriately spacious for the event. Parking was pretty bad and there was no free Wi-Fi.

I stayed here for a conference and I will say the service from the staff was exceptional. The conference food provided by the hotel was also really good. I've done a lot of conferences and had a lot of hotel food and this was by far top 5 I've had. The location is not desirable, but it is within an easy drive to the airport.

If there were more stars to give, I would give them. I travel a ton for my job and have been to 19 countries, and this hotel made my birthday and night before my first half marathon one of the most memorable stays ever. From the beautiful look of the lobby, room, restaurant and bar areas, to the amazing customer service, to the birthday gift and race love, the staff at the Renaissance truly went above and beyond. I can't say enough great things about my stay, and I want to come back every year on my birthday now! And, I finished my first Schaumburg Turkey Trot half at 2:18:40. Thank you!

When I made the reservations I requested an early check-in and was told they wounds accommodate of at all possible. When I arrived they had no rooms available, I understood that this could happen when I made the reservations. Because the had no room available I wad going to have to wait for someone to check out before I could get a room, to make my wait better the staff comped me a breakfast and have me access to the VIP lounge. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities that you would need. The only criticism I have is that the room dogs not come with Wi-Fi. In this day and age Wi-Fi should be a standard think.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance and was extremely excited before I arrived because I had not stayed there before. However, this feeling was immediately & severely crushed after arriving at the hotel. I arrived prior to check-in time and was asked for my cellphone number so that I could be contact when my room was available. After not receiving a call by check-in time or the 2 additional hours I waited for the call, I approached the desk to inquiry about the room. I was then told that the person I had spoken with originally, had not only ended his shift, but never registered me as checking in nor did he pass my number to the on-coming personnel. Did not receive the room I had book due to the hotel over booking rooms. The room was still not ready around 5:30pm-6pm when I came to inquiry why I had not been regarding my room Had to sleep on a rollaway, which is not what I was paying for After retiring to the room, found the rollaway bed up against the wall and after calling the front desk to inquire as to why it wasn't set up, I was told that "I" could put it anyway "I" could find space in the room. Staff was what I call nice/nasty… right words, with a very unconcerned attitude The "privileged amenities", (room on a private floor, 24 hrs access to a concierge and breakfast each morning) that were given in place of not receiving the room I had BOOKED & WANTED were things that I could have done without.

Nice property. A little far away from any shopping or restaurants unless you have a car. The hotel is huge and you can expect a good hike from your room to any of the public spaces and parking. Beds are not the most comfortable and room always felt cold despite turning up the temperature. Overall it was a decent experience.

Would not expect this from a motel six let alone a 4 star hotel Dirty, not well kept no respect for the guests Pool area was trashed Sunday morning garbage was overflowing, dirty towels everywhere walking through other peoples garbage from night before disgusting Informed the front desk no clean towels 20 minutes later no one came down with towels no one came down to clean Why would you open a pool area in that condition This hotel does not even deserve 1 star Toilet took 10 minutes to fill up between flushes, restaurant ran out of bagels at 6 45 am and the pool area was filled with other peoples garbage from the night before.

We stayed here for a overnight getaway. The customer service was great, everyone very helpful and friendly. Shopping and great resturants within a few mins drive. Id definitely stay here again.

Wow, after cancelling a previously booked reservation in the area, we were very pleased with the exceptional customer service we received when we arrived by Kathy, what is expected by a 4 star hotel! The rooms were very nice, high quality, and recently renovated. The pool area and hot tub were wonderful. We will return. Thank you.

We were there for a wedding weekend and everyone was so accommodating and ensured that all of the guests were taken care of.

Reservation made for two double beds months in advance for family of four. Hotel gave us one king size bed. They said they cannot guarantee double beds. NEVER stay there.

I've been here a few times for the annual Gluten and Allergen Free Expo every spring. The convention halls are large and roomy, the hotel ambiance and decor is quite lovely. There is a small coffee cafe that sells Starbucks products. The lounge areas are nice and trendy. Although I haven't stayed in the room here, the rest of the hotel amenities are high end.

Well this could be a bad review but I will stick to the facts I gather the 10 nights I was there, and keep it short. I travel a lot for work and I’ve never encounter a hotel of this level with such a bad service in multiple aspects. Here are the facts: (I) Bed smelled, (II) room service usually forgot stuff, (III) TV worked 50% of the time, (IV) they allowed 15 people in the room next to me, plus another 10 in the room across; after calling for 2.5hrs complaining about party like noise coming from those 2 rooms, and the unattended kids running up/down the hallway, the management grace our floor with their presence to resolve the issue. (V) Even after any other hotel within the Marriott family gives me rewards point for work travel, this hotel refused to do it…. So for the money you or your employer will pay to stay at a hotel of this level, you are better off choosing another cheaper hotel that gives you a complementary continental breakfast, complementary internet, and enforces their own policies, because personally the next time my employer (a multinational car manufacturer) ask for my opinion where will I rather stay for the next tour around the U. S. I will make sure I’ll leave Renaissance hotels out of the equation….

Hi, I stayed at Renaissance Schaumberg during 1-6 Dec 2013 for a company business meet. The hotel is good, although they charge extra uselessly for Wi-Fi! The afterstay feedback and support is extremely POOR! I had been requesting the hotel to send me a copy of my actual checkout bill since past 45 days. I have called at the hotel atleast 12-15 times. Each time, the reception transfers my call to "accounting section" and to my astonishment all through the day, they are away from their desk. Even when I escalated this to them, I was transferred to Director Finance who was again "out for some work". This is not acceptable. Had it been Singapore, where I live, heads would have definitely rolled for missing such "basic service"! Ashutosh.
