Rooms not clean. Even after they went back in to clean them they still were not cleaned. Reached out to management and haven’t heard a word. Ended up cleaning room ourselves, changing sheets ourselves. Definitely don’t recommend anyone stay here.

The hotel was dirty. It reaked of weed. The staff was dressed in shirt and jeans. They plant things in your rooms to get a 250$ charge on your credit card. I highly recommend you NEVER go to a Best Western. If you see a picture it's completely deceiving. It's by far not a 5 star hotel… joke. I should've walked right back out… im turning them into the BBB and Attorney General out of St. Charles, Missouri. I only stay in 5 stars. I could barely fit the cart, myself and another in the elevator. They need to be investigated by St Louis codes Department. They need to ALL GO TO JAIL FOR FRAUD… NOPE IM stating TRUTH, NOT SLANDER… I will Hite an attorney if need be… 200$ on this dump… ha, NEVER. Stay at Radisson, Marriott, Hilton, somebody reputable… should've known better. Couldn't if find a place to park my car? oh and the amenities if any are incorrect. I wanted to sit in a hot tub. Guess what? wasn't one… DONE. Last minute decision picked up my child from large city… didn't want to make a long drive? I filed charges against them for fraud, being investigated… GOT charged over 400$ for a dump of a place… full refund… I HOPE THIS PUTS THEM OUT OF BUSINESS.

Cars are getting broken into here weekly per staff. I know it can happen anywhere but they aren’t doing anything about protecting their parking lot. They do have cameras but are unable to do more than just watch. 4 cars today, 6 last week and several before that per staff. The accommodations are fine. A large amount of homeless people and a new halfway house have caused a spike in crime per staff. Officers tell me nothing is really being stolen except for weapons as they are “just looking for guns”.

Dirty smelly rooms. Vacuuming started early & I was told the "quiet hours" are 11-7!?
Any door near you that is shut, will slam waking you up. I was congested upon arrival and could still smell the slight urine smell in my room.
Come here if you are drunk and just don't care, otherwise, stay away!

Disgusting rooms didn’t seem cleaned.

The hotel was great with big spacious rooms. The breakfast was awesome, it has everything scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal and pastries including fruit, yogurt and fruit cups. They have coffee all night and fruit infused water. The rooms were quiet and we had two bathrooms in our room. It’s a pet friendly hotel which was our optimum reason for staying here. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with my daughter last Wednesday through today for a business trip. Our room smelled like mildew and the tub drain wasn’t working and stopped up during showers. We talked to Sharon G at the front desk who was very rude and unhelpful. The house keeping man was very friendly and breakfast was good. I called to complain today and Elshon was able to give me a small refund and was very nice regarding our bad experience. We stay in st Charles several times a year and won’t be back!

Love the rooms… large and roomy breakfast area… a " road warrior's comfort… convenient location.

Great customer service. Left one hotel that wasn’t satisfactory & came to this one. Concierge allowed me to view room & pool area prior to booking.

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Clean, helpful staff, huge rooms, and extremely family friendly! We decided to make this our official hotel for 6 flags trips for now on! ❤️

Stayed at this hotel on March 4 and my car was broken into with 3 other cars. The hotel chain has advised him that they are NOT responsible for any damages done to my car while on there property. Or a refund on my stay. They told me that I signed stating this. But it’s funny my copy of my receipt states no such thing. So next time I travel, I will not be staying at this location. I wasn’t even offer a vacuum to help my clean the glass that was all over the inside of my car from the window being smashed in. Traveler beware.

We had a great stay here. We were here for a radio conference and it was grear that they allowed pets. He is a part of our family. The meeting room was very accommodating. Our hotel room was spacious. I thought the mattress would be too soft for my hips but the bed was very comfy. Stacy, who checked us in, was so personal and professional. You can tell she knows her stuff. We would come back.

Friendly, helpful staff. Generous and tasty breakfast options. Clean and spacious rooms. Easy access to the freeway to Saint Louis as well as to all things in St. Charles. I highly recommend this hotel!

We would encourage all guests to check sheets thoroughly and shower curtain for cleanliness. The bathroom could have been more clean and the main living space was extremely damp and had a funky smell. The breakfast was descent with lots of options. Staff went out of there way to fix cleanliness problems the best that they could. We are hopeful our experience was isolated and will be staying here again in a few weeks.

We were in town for our Annual travel convention… We are travel agents… The motel was a 5 star in our books. I am one that pays attention to details. The bathroom was extremely clean! Staff, check in, everything was great. We will definitely refer this hotel. The Overholts.

Loved this place! Great breakfast, everyone was so polite and professional. We had one small housekeeping issue that was addressed immediately. Wonderful beds and shower head was amazing! Will go back any time I'm in the area!

The exterior looks a little dated, inside was newer and clean. The staff was all super nice and accommodating. Room was a good size, clean and had comfortable beds. Decent workout room and pool, but the pool was packed with kids. The breakfast was one of the better ones, and luckily they don't slam the lids closed at 9 sharp like some places.

A nice place to stay. Clean hotel. I agree with some of the reviews that the bathrooms were a little small but the weirdest thing was how low the toilet was to the ground. But other than that it was a great place for our 2 day stay. The breakfast was outstanding and they kept it fully stocked at all times. That was much appreciated. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed sitting outside while we watched them in the indoor pool.

We were very impressed with the customer service at this hotel. I called ahead to ask a couple questions and the person on the phone was very helpful. When I explained that we were getting in late, she was quick to offer us a late check-out, even though we wound up not needing it. I had asked for a crib to be brought to the room before our arrival and the staff ensured we had a pack 'n' play in the room setup and ready to go so that we could get our sleeping children back to bed as quickly as possible. The front desk clerk was informed when we arrived and he had already double-checked to ensure it was there/set-up before we arrived. Thanks, James! Breakfast was a pretty typical hot hotel breakfast with good options, so it was ideal for our family of four (with some picky toddlers! ). We had hoped to try the pool, but never had the chance during our short one day stay. We peeked in and it looked clean + would've been safe to use. Despite not using it, it was a plus that we were able to find a hotel that had free parking, indoor pool, included breakfast, and such a comfortable, clean (and freshly updated! — — — I believe they were still remodeling parts of the hotel) room for such a great price. We used Hotwire to book the hotel this time around, and would stay there again. It was rated 2.5 stars on Hotwire, but I'd imagine — — — especially with the remodel! — — — that it is certainly worth more stars than that. We'd highly recommend this hotel!

Our experience was amazing! We called and requested an early check in and they made sure to make that happen. The suite was spacious and had a bathroom in each room area for comfort. The room was clean and and comfortable. I would stay here again.

A great place to stay! We enjoyed the location not far from the casino, Main Street restaurants and shops, Texas Roadhouse, Denny's, and Bass Pro Shop. We also liked that large pets were allowed for a small fee, that a hot breakfast was included, and that there was an indoor pool and fitness room. The staff and service was great — desk clerks were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

This is one of the better Best Western properties we have stayed at over the past couple of years. The breakfast (included) was well presented and varied, and rates as one of the better ones also. Recommend this property for anyone staying the St. Louis area. It's close to several of the tourist attractions (St. Charles downtown), and easy access to the city.

We were traveling out West and needed a place to stop for the evening. We booked The Charles Hotel while on the road and when we arrived we were greet by friendly gentlemen at front desk that accommodated our request to be on upper floor at end of hallway. The room was clean and spacious. Very quiet night sleep which was needed after long day of travel. The next morning I went for a run and realized that very close to historic St Charles for those interested in visiting the area. The breakfast was great with typical hotel offerings and a few extras like bacon and eggs. I would recommend if needing a relaxing quiet place to sleep.

Wonderful hotel! Clean and welcoming. We had a king suite we loved it! The staff was great and warm friendly individuals! Nice pool. Located by tons of stores & food. Definitely a place I'd recommend!

The front desk attendant was kind, courteous, and attentive. Very nice looking lobby. Room was clean and well-decorated. Had mini fridge, microwave, desk, TV, wardrobe, dresser, etc. They serve a full, hot breakfast with coffee, juice, milk, soy milk, oatmeal, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, tortillas, fruit, yogurt, and a waffle-making station. I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and has a handicap accessible chair lift.

We were impressed with this hotel. Our dog was welcome to stay and the friendly front desk staff even gave her a treat when we checked in. Rooms were nice and clean.

I am amazed at the help I received here. I was coming from out of town, when I went to check in there was no reservation! Which was my fault cause I accidently booked the day before which was totally my fault. I was charged for a no show on 2 rooms plus I had to find some place to stay! After the stress of traveling all day and this, I was overwhelmed. We were so luck the staff was so accommodating! They helped get another reservation and a refund on the unused rooms. Hotel is inviting and cozy. We were pleased there was a shuttle. I would defiantly stay here again.

For $108 on a Friday night is rare for as nice as this place is. It looks freshly painted and updated, clean. Free breakfast. Right next to restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store and Bass Pro Shop. Across the highway is a outlet mall. I know what I'm doing tomorrow! :)

Nice size rooms, but the elevators are incredibly slow and incredibly small. Leave 5 minutes before you have to to anticipate for the wait. Other than that, great place to stay.

Nice staff. Tasty free breakfast. On the interstate by not too noisy on my side. Clean room. No complaints.

Very nice accommodations with a nice selection at breakfast. Laundry was convenient and reasonably priced. Bed was very comfortable! We even stayed an extra night because we were so happy there.

Best Western is located very convenient to the casino, restaurants and shopping. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We are always satisfied with our stay at this location.

Great location with a gas station and Texas Roadhouse right next door. The staff was super friendly and helpful, there were free refreshments available in the lobby, and the free breakfast is generous. My only complaint is that the elevators are very slow and don't display what floor they're on — so you can be waiting quite a while if you're not keen on just taking the stairs. Also, there was little to no hot water and terrible water pressure. Not sure if this was particular to the room I stayed in or because I showered close to check out time. Overall, worth the price.

Very well maintained hotel. Very clean and inviting. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The free coffee and breakfast were amazing. And the free shuttle was a huge bonus!

Great hotel and great price! Our room was huge — TWO bathrooms with a living room area and a large bedroom. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was nice. My only complaint was that the elevator took FOREVER and we were on the 8th floor! We stayed here for our wedding night and they offered us a complimentary bottle of wine. Thanks so much Best Western!

Not bad if you can live with a few things. Rooms were updated. My room always felt humid and had no way of airing it out. This bothered me The most. The blow dryer was super weak. I love the shuttle. Breakfast was good. Seemed like only one elevator was working and it would take forever to wait for it. Service was good too.

Clean, comfortable, economical but hotel is aging as is the Denny's restaurant attached. Staff was all helpful and friendly. Lobby fruit, ice water, coffee is all very good. Breakfast buffet was well supplied and quality products.

It hit the spot. My wife had a saying about Best Western… You know what you're going to get. What make this stand out was the breakfast! Really awesome setup. No pressure and no awkward people starting at you while you fumble with a confusing toaster only to find out that there's no cream cheese left. Not that that has happened to me. But this place was really nice; waffles, fruit, cereal, yougut, scrambled eggs and bacon, easy toaster and lots of cream cheese and bagels. The only thing was that we were there for the fourth of July and the parking lot was shared by firework people. You know the kind… There was a stand selling fireworks and the people there had so much knowledge in regards to explosives. That was unsettling but I can't knock the hotel for those pyromaniacs.

The front desk staff is very friendly, comp breakfast was varied enough for my family. Hotel is older but location is good with food, convenience store and grocery within walking distance. Pool is nice & well maintained.

Great location and good price for the rooms. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Good hot breakfast with a variety of options with lots of seating. They have coffee and fruit available all day and a snack bar to purchase from with many different choices. The hotel needs updating. They probably painted recently but it needs more updating than that. The couch is very uncomfortable. The bed is so firm it feels like sleeping on a yoga mat on the floor. There was blood on one of our towels. I wouldn't recommend this hotel when there is better options within a block of this hotel.

Always a great stay. Great breakfast, clean room and I enjoyed the heated pool. Only problem the was the light bulb in the bathroom had burned out. Either than that it was a great stay and I look forward to coming back.

Best hotel stay I've ever had. Very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and incredible staff. El-Chan S. Was at the desk most of our stay and he was exceptionally hospitable. He went above and beyond and was always a pleasure to interact it. I will never choose another hotel for my travels the Missouri!

We loved it friendly staff and clean rooms the only thing we would have to complain about but no big deal the indoor pool was not very warm like we thought it was going to be lol.

Housekeeping still hasn't come and it's been 48 hours. Our trash cans are overflowing, dirty towels are piled in the bathroom and my kids socks/feet get black from the carpet. We had to switch rooms right away — several cleaning supplies were left in the first one. We got a roll-in bed for our 3rd child. The bed is absolutely horrible, you can feel every single wire coil. On the plus side, the staff has been friendly.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Had a King Suite and room was fantastic. Tons of space and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast food was good. Everything was clean.

Friendly staff. Horrible parking. Not enough parking, and looks close to downtown but not. Shuttle stops running at 11:00 pm on weekends. Bathroom semi clean. Nice refrigerator and safe and not too noisy. Will not return.

We loved our stay at BWP in St. Charles. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Eriana at the front desk helped us feel right at home. We stayed in a king suite and it was perfect for our family. Very clean, roomie and two bathrooms too. We loved that we were able to bring our dog. It made our spring break vacation all the more special. Yummy breakfast with several selections and the pool with clean and big. Kids loved it. We'll be back for sure!

Poor service. I canceled a reservation well within the window where I would not be penalized (2 months before) and they ended up charging my debit card for the room. While going through expenses to prepare for filing taxes I noticed the charge. They refused a refund even though we did not stay at the hotel and they were not interested in fixing the situation. I will not use this hotel for future needs.

It was great. The view was amazing. The pool was heated and the staff was very polite.

Easy check in, great room space, quiet floor which led to great rest and recharge for the family.

We had to switch rooms twice because we found a bedbug in the first room. The second room had mold growing all over the outlet. When we told the front desk we needed to get another room, they wanted us to pay for the multiple rooms. The third room also had mold and the toilet was clogged before we used it. Aside from the rooms, the elevator got stuck multiple times. Even with just a few people on it, it would not line up with the floors. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, there had been repairs made to the room and you could see that there had been water damage and for the price we paid we shouldn't have had to see that. Also, the cable sucked.

Their TV's have no buttons which means you can't use the inputs. Which means no xbox, netflix, etc. This is a joke. Luckily all you need is a universal remote and you can use whatever input you'd like. Hotels that still use a coaxial cable for their cable signal are disgraceful, petty, and just out right cheap. Won't come back. Great location though. Qdoba across the parking lot.

Kid friendly. Excellent waffles. Staff was curtious. Need to replace carpets. Clean but bunching up in spots. We had a king suite. Snacks and drinks complementary. That was nice with kids. Play pins on hand for cribs. Clean.

Great hotel, recently upgraded, attentive staff, definitely recommend. Stayed here during a trade show in the nearby St Charles Convention Center. Hotel had been re-branded to a "Best Western Plus" three days earlier. Seemed to have been recently updated. Nicely appointed room. Fully stocked breakfast, with eggs, sausage, juice, fruit, waffles, coffee, etc. Very convenient to the highway, with lots of good restaurants right around it.

Got a room for my daughter to have a pool party for her birthday. The room are newly remodeled and are very nice. The service was excellent everyone was very helpful. Nice pool area and nice big breakfast area. I'm very happy with everything.

They were in the middle of overhauling, had to change rooms three times in three weeks. Gave us a very reasonable rate due to the construction. New bathroom sinks, carpet, etc. Has indoor pool and workout room. Will be back.

Like Bill M I was a potential walk in customer. I was read reviews on my phone and saw the previous ones. Was a bit worried after reading the other reviews, but had stayed in a Quality Inn the night before on my impromptu road trip. Anyways, rooms were great. Pet friendly which was great from my two small dogs. Staff was friendly and was able to get a quick bite to eat in the conference room before heading on my way. I will stay again if I find myself in the St Charles area.
