So far NOT IMPRESSED! First we arrive and my friend notices a sign no water 9 to 5 day we arrive and today. The check in lady did not inform us we had to ask about it. Why was this not told to us before arrival. Unacceptable. Second we pulled out the sofa bed and there is trash under it. Why is housekeeping not cleaning up after ever departure? Third we were watching television last night and the television turned off every 20 minutes turned back on went to the guide and the volume extremely loud. Fourth last night I stopped by the front desk to request light housekeeping the rest of our stay. The lady did not understand a word of what I was telling her. This was per their sign in the room stating you needed to request this. Fifth my friend was taking a shower and the toilet started overflowing. We ran to call the front desk the phone in the living room does not work. Ran to a phone in a bedroom and were told sorry no one is here to help for another 45 minutes. So there is water covering the bathroom floor and going out onto the rug. What would you like us to do? A lady comes up to out towels down. Maintenance finally shows up he did an amazing job cleaning up. Sixth I know this is not a big deal but when you are paying a high price for a hotel and you specify amenities they should be there. The shampoo conditioner body wash should be refilled after every stay. The conditioner is empty in the one bathroom. I hope our stay gets better.

The staff made us feel at home when we arrived and the rooms were beautiful, with all the conveniences that we needed, with the shopping malls and restaurants not too far away.
On Sunday morning before we left for our concert we had a great continental breakfast to get us started out right for the day.
So yes I would definitely recommend this place for your next trip to Chicago!

Would definetly stay here again… comfortable, friendly staff… good food!

Horrible experience. They didn't have our rooms ready by an hour after check in time. Once we got to the room, nothing worked, including the AC on a hot day, the shower, and one bathroom door. The location is far out of Chicago and the area around the hotel is not great. On top of everything, the front desk attendent, Inez, was disrespectful and unhelpful after we respectfully informed her of our issues and requested a small refund. We've stayed at other Staybridge locations in the past, and they have always been delightful. It's too bad this is a bad apple.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite. It also had a kitchenette. We loved the free breakfast and free laundry. I would stay here again.

Had an enjoyable stay, room was clean, plenty of space, and friendly staff. My only issue was that there isn't enough parking. Several guests had to park on the street later in the evening. Location wise, it's close to many shops and restaurants, walking distance to one of the best restaurants in the area.

The staff was great and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast attendant went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed so that was really great. We were not happy that, because we were here on the weekend and showed up after 5 on Friday, we couldn't get a refresh on our room at all for the weekend. There were 5 of us, so our trash cans were full and we have two kids in diapers so it wasn't great. They also have storage space on the floor and we opened that door and there were bugs flying all over the place! The bathroom layout was not great because you had to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom and when we had a kid sleeping, you have to open the loud door to the bedroom and try not to wake the person sleeping with the light that shines right into the eyes of anyone sleeping. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and a great location.

My brother and his son stayed here for the weekend, checked in on a Friday and extended the stay till Monday. He requested that the room be cleaned Sunday morning only to return to a dirty room full of trash and to be told that they only take trash out ONCE a week … REALLY that's nasty! The young man at the desk was not really helpful his solution was to switch my brother to a room that was cleaned rather than clean his room and give him fresh linen and towels. His offer was not really an offer, but since he is checking out tomorrow it will have to do but one thing is for sure he stays here for work but this will be the last time he stays at this poorly ran place!

The nite I stayed I saw a bug on wall so I thought since its surrounded by woods it came in when we did the next morning another told frnt desk n they said well its nothing we can do we r around trees so… OH REALLY! Awful neva again!

Lovely suite w/everything I needed. Great breakfast with hot items and Happy Hour 5:30 — 7 pm evenings with entree and salad! Good coffee too. Friendly, efficient staff. Only downsides = no pool and VERY FIRM bed. Otherwise, live this place.

Very nice location, the people here were nice and friendly. The managers reception dinner has wine and beer on tap, courtesy of the hotel. The great room has a nice fireplace and the breakfast is a few levels above your typical continental breakfast. The rooms are clean and roomy and the cupboards have a full utensils and place settings for 4.

Took forever to check in, lady at desk on phone didn't even acknowledge me to let me know it would be a minute. Other people were in the back chatting and even looked out and didn't acknowledge me either. Room is very nice, BUT DIRTY towels still hanging in the bathroom, and trash still in the trash can…

Beautiful place with great room complete with fireplace. Breakfast is much better than most hotels, surpassing the typical continental style by a long shot. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Bad experience I had this time with this chain of hotels. To start the few good points, the WI-FI works very well and is fast, the breakfast is neither good nor bad, but it includes the stay, they must change the schedule as they take it off at 9:30, very early. Most of the staff are very friendly, spatially naming him from reception and to those who are in the "buffet", especially Juan (so I think it is called) and his son are very friendly. It has a gym and laundry.
Now start the good, the bad points, on arrival they had no list our room we had to wait like 20 minutes and that we arrived close to 4:00 pm. When we walked into the room we realized that there was a small noise in the bathroom, I went and was dripping a part of the shower, as much as I reported they never did anything, God knows how many liters of water are wasted there. The dishes were super dirty, I had to wash them all. The bathroom sink was down. The phone line did not serve for 2 days. The part under the couch in the room was super dirty, chips, feathers, hooks and even a deodorant were there. I reported it and they never cleaned up. The sheets they leave for the sofa bed did not smell good. Your ATM's no good. And the jewel of the cake, of the 8 nights that we did not stay there, only 2 days made the room, and 1 of them was because I complained with the manager, which served little because the other day they did not, it is incredible and unheard, I've never had anything like this happen before.

Spacious rooms, kitchen helpful with all utensils, helpful staff: downside bed not comfortable and no pool.

It'd be nice if they had a bar on the weekends. It was a relaxing stay though.

Excellent service and housekeeping. Suite was roomy and comforting. Breakfast is amazing and 3 free happy hours a week with food is fantastic! Free laundry and complimentary beverages every day. Pillows soft and cool. Stayed 2 weeks due to apartment fire. Thank you!

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 weeks (week nights only) while she underwent radiation therapy. We could not have asked for a more comfortable stay. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. (we even had a false fire alarm experience! )

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Oakbrook. Close to food, shopping and the highway. Three days out of the week they host a social hour where guests can eat and drink for free. The food is served buffet style and they also serve tap beer and bottled wine which was quite nice. The rooms were excellent with a nice view. I'll be happily staying again when in the area!

Affordable home away from home. Complimentary breakfast. Free shuttle within defined radius, courteous staff. Social night 3 times a week with free bites and drink. Excellent avenue to network and make friends. Gym and laundry set together. You can workout while your dirty clothes take a spin. Free Wi-Fi. Beautiful ambience. Set in a serene environment.

Best I've Stayed The Night In Since 2012. A Few People Were Loud, and Smoking, But Whatever, It Was Expected. Nice Place to Stay.

My room was clean and bed was comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets in the closet as well. The only issue I had was that the air room was dry.

Friendly staff, clean, the breakfast was awesome, great place for pets, love the room layouts, only negative was that the beds are very noisy and feel like they are plastic.

The staff was nice, the breakfast was good, and all the gym equipment worked. There was some trash swept under one of the beds, but there was nothing living or smelly. Since I slept on top of the bed (which was quiet nice by the way), not under it, I can forgive that. Everything else was as clean as you could ask for.

Here for a wedding, we opted for this location as it was part of a package, so I can’t say this place was chosen for its greatness. It’s a bit far out, but it offers you an opportunity to see more sites. Some of the pluses: continental breakfast, friendly staff, ample parking, mini kitchen, pull out sofa bed Some on the not so pluses: less than modern decor, some of the furniture pieces look worn, 2017 Oct 14th weekend elevator was out without notice of expected repair time. A nice stay, but next go round, maybe a little closer, we be double checking the package details.

If you ever in doubt and not sure what place to pick in Lombard this is one to go for. You’ll feel like never leaving home in the first place. Spacious rooms with all the amenities, warm breakfast every morning and friendly staff. Oh did I mention they even offer a dinner several nights of the week? Definitely would recommend to anyone that is needing a room whether it be a one nighter or an extended stay!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Firstly, they are trying to cut costs by not having maid service come in on the weekends, so if you want clean towels or your bed made, you'll have to wait until the following Monday. Speaking of the bed, I can't confirm but the sheets did not smell like they were cleaned and bleached before my arrival, as if the bed was made with the previous tenants bedding right before I checked in. Lastly the room reaked of cigar smoke (in a non smoking room, of course). I was able to get a new room after bringing this all to their attention. The second room didn't smell and the AC worked, but again the bed just didn't feel clean. The whole third floor smelled like pot, which apparently nothing can be done of. I also had family in another room who's toilet didn't flush. All great stuff… Just do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

StayBridge Suites, 200 Royce Boulevard, Oakbrook Terrace (Illinois), IL 60181, Booked for 2 nights for a Business Trip with my hubby, checked — in Friday, heard a knock Saturday morning at about 9:45 a. M. Having my coffee, didn't answer the door but somebody insisted barging in, thank God I have the security lock on, it was Housekeeper saying that she was told that the room is empty and should clean it up for the next guests. 30 minutes after got a phone call from front desk and they are kicking me out of our room that we paid for two nights, the front desk lady insisted that we should pack up and leave even I insisted to her we are booked for 2 nights, (that would have been an expensive one night stay for the amount we paid for, if that was the case. ) She said it shows in her system/records its just for one night. That moment, things went through my head, my husband in a business meeting, to packed things and where am I going? Called my husband told him what was going on and remembered I have the booking receipt and confirmation, tried calling and no one was answering at the front desk. My hubby called the hotel texted me that it was fine now. Went to the Front desk anyways, talked to the Front Desk Lady, she was even rude, she said it wasn't her mistake and blame it on someone. WOW! Bottom line… keep your receipts and confirmation and be ready for humiliation! WILL NOT COME BACK TO THIS HOTEL!

Very nice place. You get a dinner with your overnight stay on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday first night we had a large salad meat balls and buns chocolate chip cookies very nice. Drinks were coffee and wine. We also had a fire alarm go off at 12:45 in the building and fire department showed up.

This is a great hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything is clean and it smells good. The breakfast is great, I was late one day and they still let me get the food.

Staybridge, Oakbrook is a family place. Home away from home. Located in a serene environment with Lake at the back and Trees in the front. You can but to feel comfortable. The staffs here are good to Guests and the Manager is awesome. I'll definitely Lodge again whenever I'm in this area. Great Service. They've got unlimited free Breakfast for guests.

This was the perfect location as I had meetings at a nearby office. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great service. Their breakfast and dinners were excellent.

Nice and friendly staff, very comfort beds, great breakfast. They serve free dinner but didn't experience that part of hotel. Great place for family; very large suites.

The front desk is very nice, room was big and super clean. I especially like the area, there's a bunch of places to eat and you're in between 2 malls. Great location.

Hotel was nice but front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. I left my sons shoes there and called a few days later to see if they found them. I was put on hold for 15 min and finally hung up, I called back and said I was waiting for them to check on a lost item and the girl said "oh they didn't find anything" (even though I was never even asked what I was looking for! ). I called back the next morning and asked to talk to the head of housekeeping and she found them within minutes. This tells me the First Lady never even looked! Very frustrating!

This has been a great place to stay. It's spacious and comfortable. The staff has been super attentive and kind.

I think the staff was doing the best they could however I had an absolute terrible time between the fire alarm going off 3-4 separate times from 11pm to 4am prompting evacuation with no apology or reimbursement of the situation to the terrible breakfast it wasn't the best experience! I wouldn't at all suggest this hotel to anyone because they don't seem concerned with member experience. When discussing these adversities with staff their response was "I am here by myself… " which isn't the response anyone wants to hear when there is a problem.

Everything was great until the evening. If you hate sleeping and love fire alarms, this is the place for you. Otherwise, you should look elsewhere. During my stay, there were three times the fire alarms sounded. Also, four unidentifiable families decided to remove the fire alarms in their rooms. I conducted a survey (sample size = 60) on people who had been at the hotel multiple nights, the arithmetic mean and median for number of times the fire alarms went off per evening was approximately 1.9875 and 2 respectively.

We stayed there last May and it did not have the room that we booked when we arrive. They gave me a certificate for compensation and told me it is good for any room in Staybridge location for one year. However, I tried to use it in Novi MI next week and I was told it is no good. Very disappointed.

Friendly staff, rooms are clean. Breakfast bar is decent. They have soft drinks as well as the normal breakfast drinks. Overall a good hotel for fall or business professionals.

Tried to figure out why my room was so cold turns out all the windows were left open from previous guest or what not. While using the blow dryer it completely stopped working about after 5 minutes. Tried turning it on and off I guess it just went out. Cable TV has horrible signal I don't know if it's just my room or not but most channels I tried for on the TV guide did not go through. And the channels that did work had terrible signal.

Nice rooms with a clean new lobby/breakfast area. Breakfast is better than at a regular holiday inn and the full size fridge in the rooms is a nice perk. Would definitely stay here again.

Small but very nice. Comfortable room, amenities for a longer stay. Service was outstanding. The free breakfast was better than most with some cooked food in addition to the normal waffle, cereal, and breads. I would definitely stay with them again.

I need to file a complaint on Markus, the Night Auditor on 10-29-15 at 8:00pm. I felt Markus was extremely rude to me when I asked him to verify the credit card number charged to the my room. I wanted to make sure the room will be charged under my company's credit card, Markus responded in a flippant manner dismissing my concerns and instead stated "I'm the Night Auditor and I don't make mistakes! ". I felt unsettle after my 1st encounter so I asked Markus if I offended him in anyway to received such rude treatment. Markus demanded that I go to the snack bar to talk to him privately which I did. Markus begin telling me that I had too much to drink at the hotel's beer bar and I was too loud. I had two drinks. To the leaderships of this establishment. I too are in the customer service industry and Markus's behavior was unacceptable. Please take this opportunity to correct your customer service deficiency. I can choose to stay anywhere when I travel but I choose you. Because of my encounter with Markus, I have to re-evaluate my hotel options in the future. Regards,

What a wonderful experience! Every single employee that I interacted with was friendly sincere and helpful. It's very clean, there's breakfast & free dinner some nights of the week. What more can you ask for. Conveniently located with lots of restaurants and shopping if you like. Thank you and great job to all of you who work at this Staybridge. You are awesome!
