Good and bad. We and about 4 other cars were circling the parking area trying to find parking, none to be found. We ended up across the street in a pizza place. The room was fine (a nice suite). Breakfast was standard. Ok except for parking.

I stayed at this hotel earlier in the year, the staff is simply amazing! I left another hotel and came to this one because the other hotel was very disrespectful. I love this hotel! The staff treats you well, the GM is super nice. I have spent many months at this hotel while in town for work. When I am in the area I stay here this is my go to hotel. They have treated me like I was a part of the family and that is very important to me. I travel so much for work and it is always nice to know when I stop in the Chicago area I will have a great place to go. The beds are super comfy, the housekeeping staff is polite, the front desk staff treats you with respect, and the GM is so wonderful! This will always be my home away from home.

Upon finding out I had bed bug bites from staying here, I coordinated with the company I work for to move hotels. When I got back to the hotel from working, I explained to Janine (at the front desk) I would need to check out due to bed bug bites and my company needed to know the name of the person I spoke with at the front. I had to ask three times, as she would not give me her name. She never once apologized or seemed concerned in the least I was leaving the hotel due to bites. She made it VERY clear my company would not be getting a refund for the night, as I had come back to the hotel past 11:00 check out time. I had to coordinate with my company who booked the travel, and I left the hotel at 9:00 AM and worked a 10 hour day… Unfortunately, getting eaten up by bed bugs can not take priority to earning a living… But, I guess if you stay at this hotel it needs to be if this happens to you. Do not suggest this place to stay. Plenty of other affordable hotels around. In response to "am I sure I have the right location? " Yes. I am sure you can also see by looking up my name, I stayed at your hotel… As far as your employee giving a false name, or incorrect information, it doesn't surprise me, as she didn't seem the least bit concerned a hotel guest was eaten up by bed bugs and was checking out…

Stayed one night in room 122 for $75. For that rate, this was quite a large room, with a couch and a coffee table. We did not use room service or interact much with the staff apart from check in/check out. Breakfast offered 2 protein items: hot breakfast sausage links, and chilled, peeled hard boiled eggs. 2 flavors of yogurt were available, as well as the expected fried potatoes, waffles, cereal, etc. Would stay here again.

Pretty decent hotel… a little older… a small spider let down from the ceiling… I hate spiders! Anyway it's pretty clean… the staff is really nice… housekeeping is pretty nice… it's my go to hotel when I'm in the area.

Staff was great, parking lot was good, hotel was clean. Beds were good. Noise levels were rough!. Sounded like a herd of elephants was running around inside the room above of us. The pool needs to be more handicap accessible, as far as walk in stairs. They have ladders and a lift. The pool was cold, and old looking.

Typical chain hotels with reasonable cost performance ratio. Facility is quite aging, but good condition. Friendly staffs, good hot breakfast.

I have to say my expectation for this place went up I have been here a couple of times and have liked the property but not like how the Front desk manager Treated us she was very rude and disrespectful but again this location is renovated just few months ago and have a in door pool for my son so we decided to give it another shot at check in there was two young lady’s and they where doing good but I was haveing a bad day as it was and one of them I believe was in training I was checking in with Teresa and when she gave me my keys it was front of the hotel I had called hotel and asked to be moved to backside so the supervisor Mo jumped in and moved us to first floor backside witch was nice of him when I got to the room there was some dust and paper on dresser but I went to the desk asked Mo to come and look he came to room and apologized for that I told him not to worry but for him to be aware but he took the time to come speak to me and make sure I was ok that makes me want to come back also found out there is new staff and that the mean front desk manager is not there any more I will keep visiting this hotel and hope they keep the customer service up great job.

It was an okay hotel. Certainly sufficient. I would probably give it 4 stars but the staff could have been nicer.

Hello, We stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be a below average hotel. Front Desk — Just okay and borderline questionable customer service. Some may even consider similar to the roadside motel like treatment. Breakfast — food was okay and the dining area was small for the number of people. Regardless it was kept clean and the staff did a good job keeping up as the big crowd cycled through in batches. Room — it looked like they crammed two rooms in a tight space. The two double beds took up almost the entirety of one room with barely any space to move around. It has a balcony facing the main road overlooking boarded up business properties. In addition, the road noise is continuous. If you are a light sleeper or bothered by road noise, stay away! There is a tiny bathroom that has a very loud exhaust fan. The door literally just clears the toilet while opening in. There may have been 6 — 8 inches clearance from the edge of the door to the tub and the toilet in between. The first day the toilet would not drain and almost overflowed. After couple of calls and over an hours wait someone did make it over to fix the problem but the slow draining flush made us leery of using the toilet every time we flushed. Second room was okay overall with a pull out sofa, TV, refrigerator and a microwave. It was a cozy place to hang out. Overall, we would not want to rest our heads again at any Comfort Suites in future. Wish you the best!

Front Desk and all employees are friendly very helpful. I highly recommended it, I forgot my purse and they were kindly to send it to my home address. Thanks a lot comfort suites.

Great place for up to 4 or 5 nights. The personal is early nice and helpful, the rooms are big, spacious and clean. You'll find microwave, small fridge, coffee machine in the oom. The breakfast is early well served and complete. It mostly have waffles that you cook your elf plus scrambled eggs and ham or bacon or sausage. Coffee, milk and cereal, bread and fresh fruits… I think is a good go!

Booked through a third party site and got a pretty decent price on the the room for 3 nights. The room we booked has 2 double beds and a separate sitting area divided by a door. There are 2 tv's, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a hide-a-bed. The hide-a-bed, as a bed is super uncomfortable and wouldn't want anyone to have to sleep on it, I could feel all of the springs. We have stayed in Oakbrook Terrace multiple times in the past and always have felt safe and there a lot of shopping and restaurant options in the area. You can access a lot of freeways and you are about 20 minutes from downtown. They are currently in the middle of a remodel, but it doesn't seem too dirty or loud from the construction. The areas that I visited seem nice. Breakfast was pretty good and they had a decent selection. Fresh made Belgium waffles, yogurt, cereals, fruits, breads and muffins, etc. They also have a protein (ham, sausage, etc) and eggs. I felt it was pretty well stocked, clean and the service lady was super nice. The parking lot seemed a little small, and it is one-way. In the front where you park to check in, there are a few parking places. There is a sign that says not to block the drive, but of course there was a car parked in the drive so I had to go in to find out who blocked the drive so I could park.

Although the rooms are very cheap but that's all you get cheap… We checked in on a Friday for 2 days for a family wedding well first thing was they don't do late check out at all just an extra 30min fine whatever… got it. The problem was our room was noisy as hell something on roof was vibrating the room ceiling so they changed our room which was good but new room to lift was so loud to flush and stayied loud after flush for about 3minutes I wasn't going down to front again I'll deal with it I guess. But here was the kicker next day our check out time was 1230 as I did ask for a late check out they said 30min but had the nerve to call the room at 1210pm to tell us room is for 12pm the lady didn't put it in the system on new room and the rude lady said if we weren't out they are going to start charging my card. I was so frustrated about our stay and we left with 5 min. I'm never ever going to book here again this was our 3rd time staying here I would rather pay more for a room then this treatment ever again.

Our front door to our room didn't close right, it was also super noisy, our keys stopped working numerous times so kept having to go to the lobby to get it fixed. Happen when we were unloading so we had to walk all the way around to the front with everything. It was really disappointed. They have a the pool, but didn't even get to enjoy it at all. And we stayed 3 nights. There was a party going on where the pool is located, so you have to walk through a party just to get to the pool, very uncomfortable. Parking was terrible not sure if it was because of the party going on. Signed a form about noise warning but the hotel is very noisy not sure what that's about.

I had a great experience with speaking with Guadalupe. I've been trying to speak to someone in sales to get information on booking a meeting room for my daughter's birthday party a week ago and no one contacted me so I gave them a call and got Guadalupe again for the second attempt, Guadalupe was so professional and so helpful on trying to meet my needs.

The bad parts-Was being completely Remodeled while staying so there were definitely a lot of inconveniences. The pool was gross and super run down, ceiling tiles had water marks and holes EVERYWHERE! The Good Parts — The price of the 2 night 3 day stay I received was Amazing! Great Deal! The room itself was VERY NICE! Large and everything I could need plus more. And last the Free Breakfast was AWESOME! All you can eat with a TON of options. I believe the website for this place said it was waffles and a side of meat for the free breakfast but it was SO MUCH MORE! Overall, it was good not great.

Great rooms, comfy beds. It took maintenance a long while to get to our room, but other than that, everything was great.

Apparently on Christmas eve they gave up our room to another guest because they paid higher. We were not informed until a few hours before the party began. Sad to know my family won't be coming here again for any gatherings. I am sure my family paid up to $300 for the room for just a few hours. We also didn't cause any problems and had been coming here every Christmas eve for many years. The hotel owner gave us another room completely free and I am sure the manager of the hotel was fired after that incident. Money can control people, but the owner respects my family well and saw straight to the problem. I give three stars just to the owner alone. Hopefully that hotel manager is gone.

Bad hotel do not purchase a room here they will not give you your 50$ back for security purposes and I'm having a hard time getting my refund back do to a room they cancel out say we didnt show up and we did I even purchase a room with cash and still stayed… Front desk is no help bad costumer service. THE FRONT DESK LADY NAME DIANA IS RUDE VERY RUDE and there is no filter in pool and pool water was dirty. Was there jan. 27 to the 28 2018. In still today trying to get my money back from the room I purchased on the 26. Still haven't received my refund of 74.24 its been 2 weeks now. And they not refunding me my whole 74.24 they trying to give me 61.25. I will not stop into I get my refund back BAD HOTEL PEOPLE.

Under renovation at time of this review. Bathroom and beds are small. But it is cozy.

I was really disappointed because the hotel is under construction. Also, they are falsely advertising because they didn't let me know that their facilities were under construction when booking my stay. It is no where on the website nor did the agent representative inform me. I booked rooms for a women retreat, and although the rooms were nice, the pool was under construction as well as the grounds. They also gave me a hard time with a refund request, but now I see why because they aren't getting much business.

We go every Thanksgiving weekend. The suites are perfect for our family. It seems that every year we go it’s under renovation. I’m not sure why they pick the holiday weekend to work on the hotel. The breakfast is really good and everyone can find something they like. The housekeeping staff are very friendly. The maintenance manager is phenomenal! The hotel manager isn’t as helpful or friendly as you would expect. We needed assistance during our stay and the maintenance manager came to our rescue when the hotel manager did not, even though we were informed we could be helped.

Massive Construction was underway as the hotel renovated itself out of the seventies but they handled it well and prices were good. 25 minute drive from downtown Chicago. Breakfast was not great but really what you'd expect.

Overall I had a great experience. From room service to the breakfast, I had a blast with my family and will continue to come back to this hotel in the future.

Decent rooms and the hotel is going through a renovation which will likely improve the atmosphere. Free breakfast was tasty. Parking lot was really small and I had to park across the street on a Saturday night.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, room was cleaned, but someone smoking in the bathroom. I still smell it, I had to turn on the exhaust fan. I like the heat lamp in bathroom. The swimming pool need to be updated, the gym room was nice… overall I like it.

Wow! Is about all I can say. The hotel looks nice on the pictures I looked the Hawaii room ON THE PICTURE. I can I'm greeted nicely I ask for a theme room what kind they have available. So, the man tells me they have one available I say great which one? It's like he's not understanding the question I get put on hold. I get connected to a female with a strong accent. I go through the whole thing all over and I ask her what theme room you have available and she telling me about the room has microwave a sofa what tl kind of size bed. All fine but I ask again is it the Hawaii room? And there she goes with pricing and booking but not answering my question. It the beginning she kept asking me if I'm part of some group asked me three or for times I kept telling her no. So after back and forth back and forth I even put my husband on line with he to her us a room and she started all over again with describing a room yellow walls, a microwave. WHAT?! After42 min on the phone what should have taken minutes I ended up hanging up. So disappointed because like I said the Hawaii room looked l looks amazing on the picture. I hope in future they will have some trained people at the desk so maybe I can enjoy a night at what looks like a nice hotel.

Very reasonable priced. Very nice and clean room. Very spacious. Staff is very nice and helpful. Alot of amenities.

Excellent service. The food was great actually it was better than a known restaurant that I visited. The staff was friendly, the room was always kept nice and clean. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was very kind and friendly. Though the bathrooms in the hotel rooms are a bit small and they have a small parking lot which If the hotel was booked night be hard to find a spot. Though overall we had a positive experience.

We just spent 3 nights there. The TV in the bedroom wasn't working and we informed the front desk 2 times but no one came to fix it. There was a huge cockroach in the bathroom on the first night. On the day that we left, there was a bag of what appeared to have blanket (s), pillow (s) and book (s) inside being left by the door of our van. We gave it back to the front desk. The breakfast was good and the kitchen staff were friendly and efficient.

Good size room. Comfortable mattress too. Breakfast included very good quality with plenty of room to sit. The only downside is the street with a lot of traffuc and noisy.

I am absolutely disgusted! We just had to check out because the room was disgusting. There was blood all over the sheets and the owner refused to do anything about it. He proceeded to insult our intelligence saying the sheets weren't old, yet the blood was only on the top sheets and pillow cases. I would not recommend staying here. Least to sat I will be contacting the BBC.

I work nights, the lady when I checked at 4:30 am said I could have a room for 24 hours and just charge for one day. Instead at 10:30 am the lady on the next shift called and woke me up at 10:30 to tell me I had to check out by noon. She did allow for an extra hour, but was rude. She should honor the promise of the night shift employee.

Every time my family and I stay here it's always a comfortable, warm feeling. Staff treats you great, rooms are always clean, and breakfast is always hot! Truly recommend staying here!

The location was terrible. It is right off of a busy road and the rooms are not well sound proofed. Every car that went by you could hear loud and clear. There were brown smudges on several doors that I won't even guess at their composition. The room smelled musty and old. The poor was poorly kept ad there were several holes in the wall of the pool that looked crudely constructed. The only good part was that they were quick to check us out.

Very nice hotel, quite comfortable. Loved our room with the separate bedrooms/living room. Pool and gym area were well maintained. Staff were friendly and competent. When you consider the price, this hotel is really hard to beat!

Rooms are large and clean. Hotel is a bit dated but is great for business trips. Good Wi-Fi throughout.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Just be sure to get a room on the south side of the hall to avoid the road noise.

Very clean, and comfortable. Updated decor. The staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Centrally located around restaurants, bars and stores. I would stay there again.

Rooms were clean. No hot water had to wait 20 minutes for luke warm. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Internet was terrible/ pretty much no service. TV reception was fair after we had a maintenance man came up and blame it on the cable company. We came in a snow storm to find out they were redoing the inside pool. At least they warned us. With nothing to do we suffered thru it.

The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Average hotel stay. No HD on the tv's was a detractor.

Best place to stay when in Chicago area. I would not stay anywhere else, this is my home away from home. It is nice to have the bar and a light dinner in the evenings.

When I come to visit the Chicago area, comfort suites oak brook Terrance is our favorite place to stay. Comfortable beds, two room suites, awesome hot full breakfast, free Wi-Fi, pool, are just some of the nice benefits. Look forward in coming back!
