The staff is always so friendly and they go out of there way to take care of me, during my stay.

Rooms nice. When I'm told from a company that there is a hot breakfast bar, along with due tomotherbeing handicapped I would be on first floor or near elevator. Which this did not happen. Told there was pool and whirlpool spa is not working. If I'm paying 169.00 daily, I expe ct to get these amenities. While swimming tonite I realized that exit door was blocked by overgrownbushes along with a oversized dumpster at the end of the exit way. If emergency happened this business would be liabile just because a dumpster and overgrown bushes. I understand that they are remodeling but they should lower price of stay for false info. I will not recommend hotel to any out of town friends that visit!

Not cheap. But worth it if you cant see the road anymore.

I came to this hotel wit my partner and some friends I got to the hotel and forgot my key the lady called the cops on me because I raise my voice to someone over the phone not to her to someone over the phone she needs to be fired.

They had bedbugs in 3 different rooms and wouldn't refund my money. I spent 400 for 4 nights, only stayed 1 because of the bugs, and they did absolutely nothing to make it right. I had to get another hotel, which cost me an additional 300 dollars, buy new clothing, shoes and scrubs for myself so that we didn't infest the new hotel, so my 4 day stay, as a travel nurse working with covid patients, cost me over 1000 dollars. The manager has not returned my calls and refuses to refund my money. I'm really disgusted.

Fairly clean, good breakfast, vending machines were broken, hair dryer in room was broken. NO privacy! staff is SNEAKY and doesn't enforce hotel rules for the comfort of others. Got accused of smoking in the room which was a false accusation but no one confronted us, they just charged a 250$ fee after check out. Corporate ignored our dispute completely!. Will NOT go back to this location!. Was NOT worth 350$ a night!

We stayed 2 nights 8/15/18 and 8/16/18. Walking in, the room had a good presentation (clean except for one hand towel — and I can get more towels). The water pressure was nice in the shower except for one thing: the drain didn't work well, so the water was puddling at my feet during most of the shower. I called the front desk to see if someone could fix it and they said they would send someone. They didn't! The next morning we went out for 5 hours and came back to our room. No beds made, no clean towels and no fix on the tub drain. Called again. "We'll get someone. ". They didn't! Mind you there were 4 of us in this room that had to take puddle showers and we paid $190 per nite. We called a 3rd time and still… "We'll send someone… Forget it! I told my husband, " Holiday Inn did enough to get us here (clean room, good presentation) but once you are here, you're on your own! ". Our daughter goes to college up there, but we will find somewhere else to stay!

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and outstanding staff! The two staff members who were taking care of the breakfast area this morning were so friendly and accommodating! I wish I would have caught their names, but we were still half asleep after a late check in. Also, when we called the front desk to let them know we would be checking in even later than we expected Sarah was so sweet and said the only thing that mattered was that we made it there safely :). It’s so nice to interact with caring individuals who take pride in their work!

The pros: comfortable pillows and bedding. The air condition worked. Hot water was present throughout. Breakfast was fine. It was a typical holiday inn experience. The cons: the water pressure didn't allow for the shower head to be fully utilized. The air unit would make a loud compressor kick when reverting back to fan mode from cool mode. Even with white noise running throughout the night, it still would wake me up. That's it. Given they do regular maintenance on the a/c units, that's probably not the norm. I would recommend replacing the shower heads with one's that can compliment the water pressure availability.

Good stay. Rooms were clean staff was courteous and the breakfast was adequate. Is located just off the highway behind the Kroger pool is clean wasn't too bleahy, was a little cool but the hot tub more than made up for that. Loved the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in the lobby.

I love Holiday Inn Express because they are usually newer and more reasonable price wise. As was this one but not newer. It was refurbished. But wonderful staff!

This location offers AWESOME service! Staff here has been inviting and warm and offered any help to get us acquainted with the area. Housekeeping is amazing! Theyve went over the call of duty and really kept on top of any housekeeping needs. Everyone is polite and welcoming!

We had a wonderful experience here! Front desk staff even called the room to make sure we had everything we needed and asked if there was anything they could do to make our stay better! Amenities were good. Bed and pillows were comfortable and most of all, it was clean!

We had a great time. Good breakfast, super friendly staff, clean rooms but watch the white paint around the pool & hot tub! Super slippery!

Very modern and up-to-date. Must be a very recent build. No wear and tear or nasty smells. Good staff. Comfortable bed. In-room Keurig single cup coffee maker with two complimentary pods. Gym comprises an elliptical, treadmill and bike. Pool is well kept. Confectionary items available for purchase at front desk. Dining room and lounge areas comfortable. Free breakfast no complaints. Lots to choose from including bacon and scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, waffle maker, bagels, etc. Newer big screen TV was of little use. 60 channels and all were so weak the picture dropped out constantly. Stayed for business for one night so this did not detract from my stay much. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel… if you are planning to go out on the town go early. Everything in town shuts down early.

Surprisingly good and competitive, good cutomer appreciation on Weds. Good effort to meet my room preference, one of the better breakfast buffets in area hotels, larger room with good layout, I will come back for sure, friendly than other front desk staffs in area, good parking near front door, not real new or luxurious but they try to make up for other weaknesses with good service, I seem to remember they had keurigs, I remember the cable being a little weak as my biggest complaint.

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Holiday inn Express. It was clean and comfy and breakfast was delicious.

We had to stay here for a little over a month. The staff was super friendly and I really enjoyed my late night chats with the front desk receptionist Mac. Even though I live about 4 miles away I will be back for a visit. Maybe they'll enjoy having 201 back.

Room and breakfast pretty good. Staff messed up and assigned another person to my room after I already checked in.

Very poor customer service. The front desk staff disclosed room numbers of guests in front of other guests. Side doors are damaged and do to fully close. Rooms are tired and wall paper torn. Upon trying to resolve a customer service issue the manager could not be bothered to come down stairs. Apparently she lives in the hotel with her children or something. "You are just a guest" Yes and I am a guest that will never be back.

Very poor customer service and dangerous practices. The front desk clerk tells you your room number in front of other guests. This is very dangerous as it can leads to crimes being committed against guests. This is Hotel 101 it is part of IHG specifications and safety. When I discussed this with the front desk person she looked at me like I was crazy. Clearly she had never been properly trained. The hotel has very thin walls after a 1st trip up and back to the desk for a new key I get all settled in an hear screaming children at 930pm. I call the desk who calls back that they will move me. Back down stairs for another room. This time I trip on the elevator which is about 2" off on the third floor. I tried to talk to the manager, however she was to pre-occupied with her children to actually come and discuss a reservation issue. She said "you are just a guest" Wow yes and without guests there is no hotel, no job no money ect. This is a very poorly run HIE I would suggest you look for other accommodations if your visit Wabash IN.

Everything appears clean and welcoming. However I have an allergy to citrus. All of the toiletries were white citrus. They did not offer any other options. I went and bought my own. No biggie. However when I woke up my eyes and face were swollen. I am pretty sure the pillow cases may not have been cleaned properly and the residual left from a previous guest caused my reaction. I am very careful about not exposing myself to citrus.

The rooms were clean, but what type of hotel or motel does not have a microwave in the room in 2018. I can understand not having a mini frig, but no mircowave come on. The only microwave was in the breakfest area. Who the heck wants to go down stairs in the middle of the night to warm up some food? Not me!

It's all good only reason not a 5 star… nothing is perfect.

Awesome staff! Our baseball team stayed there over the weekend and we had really early games on both Saturday and Sunday, the breakfast crew came in early so our team could have a hot breakfast before our games! Clean facility and was surrounded by popular restaurants! I Highly recommend if you are in the Ft Wayne area this is the place to stay!

I seem like it has a odd smell on the 2nd floor. And just had a odd felling. The people at the desk were amazing.

Very clean and nice hotel. Snacks are great in the lobby. The only 2 bad things is that the bathroom smelled a little bit like burnt towels, and the sink didn't drain very quickly. Otherwise, would still recommend this hotel.

Hotel was ok. Nothing special. I would not pay more that $90 a night for this place. The rooms were clean and staff of nice. Breakfast was good. We can in with a softball team, and they started breakfast early for the teams there. We has 6am starts, so they started breakfast at 5am. That was nice of them.

I was NOT impressed with Holiday Inn Express on Ellison Rd. Biggest problem here is MAINTENANCE! First, the rooms are just ok, nothing special. The problems started with the curtains. They were filthy. Plus, there seemed to be a problem with the heating/cooling unit. It only seemed to blow blazing hot air. We even turned on the air conditioner to try and cool the room, but it was still hotter than blazes ALL NIGHT LONG! Also, the bathtub faucet would not shut off, and thus the water just ran the entire stay. We went swimming which was ok, but then we noticed the ceiling has peeling, warped, and bubbled paint/wall paper all over the place. Even breakfast was a let down. The bacon looked ok, and the biscuits, bagels and toast looked fine but… the rubbery omelet-like things were a poor representation of breakfast eggs. Not to mention, the old, expired yogurt. I even brought it to the attention of the kitchen staff and she looked at me like I was crazy for wanting fresh yogurt. Unbelievable! Overall, I definitely wouldn't recommend this Holiday Inn Express.

Room was very clean! Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was GREAT! Just a wonderful stay all around, kids loved the pool! Definitely recommend Wabash Holiday Inn Express!

I stayed here during a business trip. I can say this is a pretty nice hotel. I highly recommend anyone to try it out.

The cold begins and they receive you with a warm room and kind attention… The elevator looks old and make noises, the rooms are just great value for your money.

Front desk receptionist lady was quite rude. I won't stay here again. She made us feel like we were interrupting her night. Then EXTREMELY noisy… not very restful atmosphere at all.

Great hotel. The rooms were decorated nicely. Tons of outlets and usb ports for charging. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker for your convenience. Breakfast room has a pancake maker as well as lots of healthy choices for breakfast. Will return to this hotel when business brings me to Fort Wayne.

Best room I've stayed in a while. HVAC unit could be set for the fan to run constantly. Bathroom grout was clean and there was a slight smell of bleach in the air. Only downside was the bed was to soft.

Clean hotel, rooms are very big. If you like a firm mattress (like me) you won't like these mattresses. That's my only knock on the hotel.

The people are friendly, although not always particularly efficient. Breakfast could be refreshed a little more often. I stay here for a better working space than I typically got at Charley Creek. Internet can be somewhat slow.

My husband and I stayed for one night. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The pool was clean and refreshing. The included hot breakfast was My favorite part!

Easy to find and conveniently located. My room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk agents were friendly during check in and check out. My only complaint was that the AC in my room was super loud — but I only noticed as I was leaving the room, so it didn't interrupt my sleep or anything.

Solid hotel. My room was clean, and the front desk agent was friendly. It was the typical holiday inn breakfast, but it was hot and tasty, so no complaints there. It's a bit hard to find your way into their parking lot, especially at night, especially in the fog — you just keep going through a grocery store parking lot until the hotel pops out behind it. Google maps handled it well, so if you're using a GPS you should be fine.

Very clean room, comfortable bed. Shower had great water pressure. Front desk staff was great and called the room after check in to ensure everything was good with the room.

What a wonderful place! I had to stay overnight for work, and will absolutely be back! From the minute you walk in you are greeted warmly and friendly. Every staff member I encountered had the same cheery and welcoming attitude, I felt like I was staying with a family. I'm not sure if the hotel has recently been remodeled but everything is so nice, clean, and well kept (and I'm super picky when it comes to cleanliness! ). The rooms are large, towels are really soft, and every detail of the hotel is so tidy and clean. I loved that there is a fridge, microwave, and Keurig in the room. The breakfast was delicious as well, a great variety of options. It exceeded my expectations. I will be a return guest!

The staff was very professional and welcoming. They worked with me with my odd schedule, hot breakfast served in the morning was great, pool and hot tub were great, but very chlorinated. Rooms smelled clean and looked clean.

Motorcyclists book here! We took a chance on this place when travelling through. It is a bit more expensive than we would usually stay at but well worth it. They let us park under the awning and gave us rags to wipe the bikes down in the morning. Speaking of morning, we had a kurig in the room. Hot breakfast included. Breakfast was sausage patties, Turkey sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, cheese omelettes, egg white and pepper omelettes, pancakes, toast, and bagels. As well as cereals and cold options. Everything I ate tasted great. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is clean and very welcoming. The rooms are nice and they provide cookies daily. They also host customer appreciation nights with free food.

Great low cost hotel. Run of the mill services with the exception of the included breakfast. The breakfast was much better than expected with hot food options. My only gripe is the fitness center is a treadmill, elliptical, bike, and tension bands. No free weights or machines. Not a huge deal though. Room was clean, staff was friendly, we were able to check in early. Free Wi-Fi which is a rarity in today's world for some reason. Other gripe is it is on the southwest side of FW. If you are going to be going downtown or to the north side, prepare yourself to drive, a lot.

Clean rooms, good towel rotation, and bonus meals on top of the standard breakfast (free hot wing night the first night we were there, wraps the next night, and cookies every night). Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed so nice you could live there if you wanted. Could have used a mini fridge but I think the absence is pretty standard for these types.

We were greeted by a very happy woman who will got us checked in & offered us bottled water (which was much appreciated after our trip). The rooms were simple but clean and had everything we needed. The pool happened to be closed but they had made arrangements for guests to have access to the pool at the Hilton Garden so we were still able to go swimming. We would definitely use this goes again. The location is close to the interstate and has easy access to food and gas options.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I love the fresh baked cookies whenever I go there. All of the staff was very friendly, however I did have to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. It was 9 p. M. And I had been on the road all day and just wanted to get to my room and relax. I got over it relatively quickly because she was very nice and obviously busy doing something else. Breakfast was decent, your typical biscuit and gravy, which I love. Coffee — — — — — meh… Finally, since I'm a stickler for good water pressure in the shower, I was happy with the strong water pressure. I had to bend down a little though because the shower head seemed a bit low. I will be back.

Great customer service, great breakfast, clean room!

Room was great no problems whatsoever. I only give this hotel one stars because a colleague and I were in the breakfast area completing some expenses and all of a sudden both of my legs started itching. Three days later my legs are still itching and have blisters on them. I don't know if it's an allergic reaction to something in the area or what. I thought well it must have been something else so I went down for breakfast the following morning, and it began again. My colleague was not affected in any way. I can say that I am highly allergic to mold spores and the area sets just off from the pool. This was the only area of the hotel that I had a issue with so I ate at a local restaurant to avoid the area. The other reason for the low score is the parking entrance is less than desirable. This will definitely be a last resort for accommodation for this area. I truly hope that I was the only one to encounter this. About me: I am fairly easily satisfied as a customer, I don't typically complain about anything except hotel cleanliness. I am a member of IHG with over 200, 000 points. 240 nights in hotels last year!

I stayed here on a weekday night and overall thought my stay was nice. I had a non-smoking room with free Wi-Fi and 2 queen beds. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The AC was functional and worked properly. There were more than plenty of TV channels offered. The bathroom was nice and updated. It had a large shower and all the necessary toiletries. The woman at the front desk was friendly and genuine. I did not eat from the free breakfast the following morning, mostly because I was in a hurry and I eat mostly organic and healthy foods (which weren't an option — not surprised). If I were to stay in Wabash again, I would stay here. I purchased my room through Priceline. It was $110 + tax. I booked it 30 minutes before I got there. Grocery store next door, as well as many food places nearby.

Nice motel but the highway noise is SO LOUD! I won't stay here again because of that alone. Too loud to get good rest. They should know to use better windows when a major semi route interstate is so close.

5000 extra BONUS Points! Had to cancel my other reservation at a different chain to take advantage of this, hmm, 3200 points total for TWO nites at the other, vs 5000 for ONE NIGHT at Holiday Inn… NO CONTEST, I really love the extra points, thanx! :-)

The beds in our roomed sucked! Felt like there was a hole in the middle. Our sheets hnd a blood stain on them. Also the AC didn't get very cold and kept kicking on and off. The breakfast bar was good and had more than other hotels I have been to. The pool was small and falling apart but clean. The floor and walls are paper thin. If you need to be in walbash I guess this is the best, but may be worth the drive to another.

I guess if you want your review to stay here, it's gotta be good. Hey, I've stayed here twice and I gotta say that this is by far the worst HIE I've ever stayed at. I travel a lot and stay at a lot of HIE's, everyone I've stayed at has been great except for this place. If your looking for a non-smoking room, you can forget about this place. Let's see how long this negative review stays…
