I will keep posting about my negative experience at this hotel, until they quit taking them down. I stayed for 18 nights on business and have NEVER been more disgusted with the cleanliness of a hotel! The sheets were only changed once and the shower only cleaned once during my entire visit. This only happened because I left $5 with a note to housekeeping asking for them, specifically, to do these normal housekeeping procedures. The shower was visibly dirty at check in, with hair from previous guests still sticking to the wall. There is also a picture of visible mold in the corner of the shower. I think it is ridiculous that I should have to pay someone an extra $5 to do a job that is already expected of them. We put a penny on the floor that blended in with the vinyl. As you can see in the picture, it never moved, showing that they never even swept the floor. Speaking of floors; the floor in the bathroom was visibly dirty at check in (see pictures) and was never cleaned, during the entire 18 night stay. The picture of the gap between the tiles in the bathroom shows where bugs were crawling out of. On return to the hotel, on the second night of our stay, we entered the one elevator in service and were treated to a terrifying experience; once the doors closed, there was no lighting and a loud noise the whole trip. Needless to say, we took the stairs, from that point on.

Great hotel. Updated decor, clean rooms and friendly staff. I've really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone passing through.

Nice Holiday Inn for a fair price. Good location close to restaurants, fast food, gas stations, and retail. Professional and polite employees and clean rooms / bathrooms. My only suggestion is for all the rooms to include a microwave and refrigerator as the competitor hotels near by of equal or less cost have them in all their rooms.

DON'T BE FOOLED! As a platinum IHG member I have stayed at a lot of holiday inns. This hotel by far is the worst. Outside looks good but inside is horrible. Shotty construction, broken showers, warped floorboards, and dirty pool is only the beginning. Staff is nice at first to get you in but horrible at customer relations. Not too mention front desk reception doesn't know squat. Like they aren't even trained properly. Do not go here. Ended up going 2 miles away to the hampton inn and 5x better. Wish I would have known first.

Stayed on business trip (was booked for me). Very nice room (1 king). Very clean, updated. Desk had an Ethernet cable available. Breakfast was typical holiday inn fare. A couple of restaurants are within walking distance, and a Fry's.

Very disappointed after booking at spring hill by Marriott (they over booked) so sent me to holiday inn express for no charge but I got into the room. Hair all over the pillows & bed. I called down to get another room which I did. Then housekeeping girls cussing horribly in the hall way. Dated rooms but decent lobby. I'd not recommend!

This used to be a different hotel, so it doesn't match the typical Holiday Inn Express decor. But it's still pretty nice. Going to the room in the hallway you can tell that it was an existing hotel and there was some patching done in the paint. The rooms are laminate flooring which is a nice departure from carpet. Beds are clean the bathroom was clean too. The bed has a lamp that has two outlets on it, no USB. There is a flat screen TV. If you're traveling with your family there's plenty of places in the lounge to hang out. There's also free parking. There's a ton of restaurants nearby also. I would come back.

Nice and clean for the price. I do feel it was a little dated and needed to be repainted.

It's a nice hotel for the money. Doesn't have carpeted floors but not a huge deal. Would be 5 stars but the toilet paper holder doesn't spin freely.

It seems that when we booked through Chase, it showed confirmation of 2 queen beds by when we got here they said the reservation was for only one king sized bed and the rooms with queen beds were sold out. Not sure whose issue it actually is, Holiday Inn said it was the third parties issue. I’m likely sleeping on the floor and fine with that, but just a stinky third-party to Holiday Inn connection with negatively affects their customers.

Cleanliness of the room, marks on the walls And poor floor conditions, are unacceptable. This location needs to be reviewed by IHG, I found in both rooms unsatisfactory conditions, by the standards of a Holiday Inn express / IHG brand.

Nice hotel. I always try to choose Holiday Inn hotels as I can count on a consistent experience. It appears the hotel recently went through renovations and looks very nice. I would stay again!

Our family had a great time staying here. We have 2 small children and got a really good deal on the two room suite which gave us the extra space needed so the kids could move around. Pool was nice and also heated. Staff were attentive. The free breakfast was very nice and full of variety. My kids are still asking when we can go back!

Always a good hotel with predictable rooms that are clean and tidy I just wish I could remember my PIN number to get the better free internet service.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly. I was very impressed with everything and the price was reasonable too!

The staff was very helpful and the gm was very accommodating for our group event. Coffee was hot and fresh. Lobby was modern and bright. No carpeting in the rooms which is interesting. Some rooms have balconies. Will have to check those out next time.

Had a breakfast meeting here… The food was fresh & fast, & the gal overseeing the kitchen was on her game! … Very good experience!

Seriously… the worst customer service ive ever seen at any establishment. Do not stay here… you would get treated better sleeping in the paper towel isle at walmart.

The women working the front desk refused to look up our reservations. She told us there were no rooms available, and threatened to call the police on us if we didn’t leave the lobby. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. We were on a work trip, with printed confirmation numbers at this hotel. We were stuck, so the next shift receptionist was able to help us and find our rooms, after we were frantically searching for other rooms nearby.

Great stay. Wonderful manager named Agnes. Very helpful with large groups.

I have stayed at this hotel before and would stay again. You can tell they've recently done a good deal of work on the Interiors to make them look modern and clean. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance and you can easily get wherever you need to be in Indianapolis or the nearby area.

Loved every minute! Pool was a bit small and no hot tub, but clean!

I attended a work conference here and this venue is great. Wasn't too large an event but hotel provided accurate info when needed and stationary which was a nice plus. Everything was clean and very nice looking.

The room is clean. Some things are broken in the room like missing smoke detectore, handle to the closet, shower handle. They are still functional but gives a run down feel. Bed is a bit noisy when shifting around and can hear everything in the hall.

I have now stayed at this hotel 5 nights. Each time the rooms were clean and nice, and the staff at the front desk were helpful. The hotel is about a minute off 465 so it is easy to get to. The included breakfast in the morning is typical of a hotel continental breakfast, with plenty of seating. It has stayed well stocked at the times of my visits. My only complaint is during one stay, there was a slight issue with my reservation not being found in the system, but they were helpful in resolving the issue.

Rooms weren't as nice as some of the other holiday inns, no refrigerator/microwave, couldn't use the pool, pancake machine was broken at breakfast.

So far so good 5 weeks left so dont know if ot will stay great… all of the staff have been friendly and the rooms and gym have been adequate.

Ac didn't work children ran the halls someone unlocked my door and proceeded to enter even though the do not disturb sign was out and phone rang upon answering no one was there. Worst stay in my career.

It's essentially an old hotel with new wall paper and a Holiday Inn logo. — The walls are so thin you can hear everyone around you coughing and even the sound of the spray bottle the cleaning lady used while cleaning up next door. — Hair in the ice bucket (nice). — A towel (unsure of its origin) in the made bed on the first night. — The box springs are so old and destroyed that they make the most horrible sounds anytime you move. They sound like 20 year old box springs at your grandmas house. — Cleaning staff are loud and inconsiderate. When they are getting the rooms opened to clean, they pull the door open, move the lock hinge so it blocks the door from shutting, and let the door swing shut and bounce against it (bang, bang, bang). You get to hear this over and over and over and over all while listening to them play their music out loud (earbuds don't exist in this reality) or talking loudly on speaker phone so I could hear both sides of the conversation. — There are no snack machines (soda only) so if you want anything, better go elsewhere. At least there is food nearby. — My key cards didn't work the 3rd night so they had to be recoded which was great because we were on the top floor on the other side of the hotel. This is not your typical Holiday Inn Express. Just an extremely overpriced old hotel. 2 stars because my stuff didn't get stolen while I was gone. There are several hotels in the area. I would attempt any of them except this one.

Lovely concept, well executed, a little far from downtown but easy drive to and from, small problem with the shower head broken, breakfast buffet not that good, friendly and helpful service.

I, my husband, and two of our friends stayed at AmericInn Fishers on July 31, 2012. When we arrived at the hotel, the gentleman that checked us in was friendly and joked about how the concert we were attending had been cancelled. We had a few laughs and then went to our room to drop off our things and get changed for the concert. The room looked pretty clean and the air had already been turned on, so we didn't walk into a stuffy room. I never leave valuables in my hotel room because of all the horror stories I've seen on TV and heard from other people about how housekeeping goes through your things when you're not there. Before we leave any hotel, I always take photos of how things are left. I neatly tucked my belongings into my bag and then snapped a quick photo of how I left it. The four of us left for the concert around 3:30 pm. When we came back to the hotel around midnight, we opened up the door to our room and I immediately went over to my bag to get my personal items out for the shower. I noticed that the velcro strap was undone. I got my husband and showed him the photo I had taken earlier. Someone had been through my bag! We went downstairs and told the manager on duty what we had found. At the same time we approached the front desk, there was a couple there that had been to the same concert as we had and came back to their room to find that someone had gone through their room as well, and their IPad was missing.

This hotel is amazing. Normally I would look for a cheaper hotel but this place caught my eye and I'm glad I paid a little extra. After a long day of driving it was refreshing to walk in the door and be greeted by the hotel dog (she rules). The hotel is pet friendly but you'd never be able to tell. This hotel is not your normal stale and boring hotel. This place has style and is comfortable and they make you feel at home. You won't find any cheesy "paintings" on the wall or stupid carpet patterns. The staff is friendly and very helpful. After chatting with the desk clerk for a bit after breakfast we were informed that each Indigo Hotel is unique and created from a pre-existing building to help cut-down on impact on our environment. The rooms are nice, beds are extremely comfortable, internet worked great and the provided desk space was great for getting work done. On the down side it would have been nice to have a free continental breakfast for the price you pay. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and I'll be looking to visit other Indigo's when on the road.

When you use language like "uptown" and "boutique hotel", it gives the impression that this is a high end hotel in a really desirable location. In this case, "uptown" meaning suburbs, literally next door to a Walmart. "Boutique" hotel meaning motor-lodge at a freeway exit. Don't get me wrong, they did a nice job with what they had to work with, a former old Day's Inn site which was added on to and gave it a chic, trendy appearance. But to me, it just wasn't that nice of a hotel. It looked, smelled, and sounded like a college dormitory. The minimalist style outside and in felt like a dorm room and I'm in my 30's and I think I was the oldest guest there. The room had an odor that was reminiscent of a locker room and there was a lot of commotion in the hallway at 3am which I didn't appreciate after 16 hours on the road. I don't quite understand the 3 star rating. When you go to check in and one of the first things they say to you is "cash or credit? ", it really doesn't feel like 3 star service. I didn't have any major problems. My complaints are that the bed was very uncomfortable (very firm and pillows too small), there was a hair laying smack dab in the middle of the bed when I got there. The furnishings were unique but not especially high end. The "wood floors" people are talking about may be wood in the lobby but in the rooms they are Pergo (fake wood). The rooms are small. The bathroom sinks, as someone else mentioned, are difficult to use.
