Great hotel with helpful staff.

The owner was amazing. Friendly, accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and the price was right. I will ALWAYS stay at the Rosemount Motel if I’m in the area.

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing a refreshing stay. We will be back and have told all our friends and family.

We got here around 2 o’clock in the morning and the gentleman was very kind the rooms are very nice and it’s not that expensive. I however am not very happy with being told no more guests in my room after 8 o’clock. I do not appreciate that at all I haven’t seen my friends and family in two years since I moved, and I wanted to be able to spend time with my friends and family for the short three days that I’m going to be here. They should be able to be here with me as long as they don’t spend the night.

Very nice owner showed us the room before checking in so we could make sure it was what we expected. If it wasn't he said we could cancel without being charged. The room was very clean, smelled good, was spacious and comfortable. Best price you'll find for a nice place to stay with a great owner who also recommended places to visit nearby.

Jay is very nice and helpful. Room was great. It doesn't have good lighting or a pool. For the weekly rates you can't beat it.

Great value for the price. The staff is the friendliest of any hotel staff I've experienced. The rooms are small, but cozy, and the accommodations are perfect for a visit.

Clean, quaint little room, friendly and helpful staff, and convenient location. Stayed in the main building, the historic part of the motel, and experienced a very quiet nice stay for two nights. This will be our routine place to stay going forward on our frequent trips to Southern Indiana. The price, especially, can't be beat.

The Rosemount Motel is very easy to find. Everything is clearly marked with good signs. Parking is in the rear and on the side of the building. Jay the manager showed us the room so we would be satisfied before committing to the stay. Jay made it clear that if we did not like the room for any reason we would not be charged. Some may be put off by the age of the motel so I believe he wants to give people the option of not staying if they have any misgivings. We stayed in a very clean well kept room, we had a refrigerator, a microwave and direct TV. Jay also provided instructions and made sure we could operate the remote for the TV. The Wi-Fi is easy to connect to and is very quick. You cannot beat the price. Very friendly, customer focused and no hassles.

I love the owners her, they go way above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. It was sweltering hot outside during my stay and their air conditioning worked beautifully. This isn’t a fancy hotel by any stretch but if you need an affordable place to crash this place gets the job done.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the general manager Jay. There were 9 of us traveling together. The staff was extremely friendly. This is not a 4/5-star hotel it is an older motel it has better service than a 4/5 star motel, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!
Will be coming back to this motel every time we are in the area.

We had a great three night stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners are very accommodating, so helpful. This is a nice family owned business. We had a group with us, a total of six rooms. Everyone was happy, no complaints from anyone. Thanks for a great stay to Jay and his family.

As a business traveler spending two or more nights a week in Bedford, I need economy, no frills very basic accommodations. This motel has that, along with owners who are very motivated to make customers satisfied. Wi-fi is solid but cable is bare bones, but for the price, you can't expect much more.

The rooms are small and pretty barren, the mattresses feel cheap, and the bathroom is poorly stocked. The floor in our room also had soft spots, and the room has an unpleasant odor about it. On the plus side, there was a microwave and mini fridge, and the person running the motel seemed pleasant.

My husband and I LOVED our stay here! I was a bit sketchy when first booking our room because it looked too good to be true, but this was a happy surprise! We will be back the next time we are in Bedford! Thanks so much!

Since I was in Bedford doing genealogical research at the Lawrence County Museum of History & Edward L. Hutton Research Library I chose to stay for two nights at the Historic Rosemont Hotel which was fairly close to the Museum. My room was wonderful. Although some may consider it small, I was very satisfied with the compactness of the space. It was a clean and pleasant Non-Smoking Room containing a small refrigerator and microwave. Due to the limestone construction of the hotel, I really didn't hear anything outside the room, even though there was a fairly well-traveled road not more than 250 feet from where I slept!. Besides supporting a LOCAL BUSINESS, I loved the fact that I could adjust the A/C to be what some people might think as significantly cold. As a "woman of certain age" I'm usually displeased when the chain hotel A/C limits adjusting temps downward. It was blissfully cold in the room in no time at all and very much appreciated. The management is friendly, helpful, and very welcoming — give this place a try! PS I'm looking forward to moving ahead on my research and writing a paper to present to the Lawrence County Historical Society, when I return I will definitely stay at the historic Rosemont Hotel again!

Nice place for a getaway, staff are awesome at what they do, always checking if we are I'm ok and if we needed anything, I would recommend this place to anyone and I have to several people just this week. I'd love to stay there again. Home away from home.

The Rosemont has been a home to me while I'm in the transition of moving from one city to another. The staff is beyond excellent and has treated me with the up most respect during my stay here. They are very understanding and any request I have they have done their absolute best to accommodate myself and my needs. My room is perfect and nice and clean. I wasn't expected to live in a motel but to life being unexpected and changes happen to make me homeless, this is the homiest place I could have stayed while waiting to find my forever home. Thank you to Jay and the staff for being their for me and working with me in every way possible! I can NOT thank you enough!

Has roaches, not sure on bed bugs, some rooms are worth the price some aren't. Employees are nice but the manager is a rip off, made me leave a day before my week was up, can't compromise with the guy at all. I would honestly stay up the street at the nasty Mark 3 then there. Will never get my business again.

We were shown the the room we would be staying in before paid to make to was to our liking. Management even suggested this GS to do around the area. Customer service A+++ no other hotel will ask you before you pay if the room is to your liking.

Though this hotel is 60 years old, management keep pretty clean. Didn't encounter any issues. So friendly staff.

Building is old, and the rooms are a bit small. That being said, the staff is very friendly and provides excellent service.

We stayed at the Rosemont Motel and found it to be clean and comfortable. The check in was fast and easy. The clerk offered to carry our luggage up to our room for us, and even showed us the room for our approval before we checked in. We were very impressed and will gladly stay there again.

It was built in 1907, very historic and beautiful. Close to downtown activities and shopping.

Best place my husband and I have EVER stayed! EXTREME friendly service, they go above and beyond their call of duty! Sometimes my husband and I just need to get away from the hustle and bustle or hum drum life and when we go to the Rosemount Motel, we get the rest we need and some. We leave there feeling so refreshed. They treat you like family with a whole lot of love! I challenge you to go there to see what all the great fuss is about from everyone who stays here. Simply going back in time as it proclaims to do. I Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed! Beds VERY comfy, this motel is always extremely clean (top notch) and the staff are extremely helpful & friendly! For my husband & I it is our home away from home, our sweet haven of rest. Super clean, super friendly service. Comfortable, basic rooms at bargain prices.

The old bait and switch. The website has a lower price however the reservation is declined. I show up and the price is now 25% higher because we are sold out of the lower price rooms.

Clean, Accommodating. Clerk behind counter very informative. Told us about Blue Springs​ Cavern. Must see was beautiful. Pillows a little thin. Quiet for sleeping. Would recommend to stay here it is quaint and cheap.

Manager was very friendly and helpful for any and all of our needs as well as cheerful. We felt very welcomed as soon as we pulled in. He even offered to being us a coffee pot when we didn't see it in the room. We will definitely be back. Thanks a ton!

Comfortable, clean rooms, quiet location, great pricing, and super-friendly service. Courtyard parking so your vehicle is right in front of your room and off the street. I love to stay at the Rosemount when I'm in southern Indiana. Fantastic roads and scenery around here.

Shout out to Jay at Rosemount, who checked in with us each day to make sure our needs were met, and whose sunny attitude made our stay! Three employees from our business were in the Bedford area for a week this summer and our stay at Rosemount was comfortable, clean, and very friendly. Thanks, Rosemount Motel!

The other reviews must be from the owner's friends. He is very congenial and helpful, but the motel is in sad shape, lots of deferred maintenance everywhere. The local reputation (we learned the next day) is this is where you would go to cook up a pot of meth. Our feet were dirty from walking around on the carpet. Linens and all were OK, and the owner is working hard to make basic repairs and upgrades. I wouldn't stay here again now (June 2013), but give him six months or so and try again.

We came to Bedford for business and what was supposed to be a three week stay stretched into three months. We stayed here the entire time and were pleased with our stay. The rooms are not fancy but are clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. I was in a car accident during our stay and Jay, the owner, was very helpful and recommended a local body shop that did a fantastic job. They worked with us and negotiated an extended stay rate and also allowed us to keep our dog with us so that we did not have to place her in a kennel.

This place is GREAT! By far the most satisfied I have ever been after dealing with an overnight stay at a motel or hotel. The price was more than fair. It could not have been any cleaner, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I saw another review before I started writing this one that described it really well it's like being at home when you're away from home. You will not regret staying here.

I would have to say this motel in Bedford, Indiana would have to be the best. The manger is a really nice and cool person too talk too. I think its a pretty nice place to stay. I have been here about two months and I got another month to be here. So I recommend this motel to everyone who wants to spend a night at a place that is just like home. If u ever need anything just ask they will be wit you in one second. So have great time everyone enjoy your home away from home.
