Beautiful building in a wonderful location (this is the only reason it's receiving 2 stars rather than 1). A few nice bars though when we visited the rooftop bar and took a seat I was told it was reserved. I politely asked if they have any tables reserved for guests as the bar was quite crowded and she responded politely that she would see what she could do then she disappeared and never returned. We decided to leave for another bar offsite. Also, upon check-in we were told we had been upgraded to a two bedroom suite from a one bedroom suite. We were very grateful, obviously. When we entered our room it was the original room we booked, a one bedroom suite with two beds. We also noticed that our room had absolutely no view, well it did of the ventilation or A/C system. We called down to ask about changing rooms and they indicated they were sold out. We were obviously disappointed. They did offer to move us to a standard room with a partial view the following day. We decided to suck it up and stick with our room. Then over the duration of our stay there were several incidents where we called the front desk for various requests and we often had to call back as they were not following through. This on top of the shower having very little pressure and flooding our bathroom floor made for a disappointing visit. The staff is quite nice though they run the hotel amateurishly. It'll be my last visit. There are far better options in a city like Chicago where they have there act together.
