The room was nice & big. I wish they had a microwave in the room or even have one by the ice machine in the halls. The pool was just the right temperature, but the area should be cleaned throughout the day. There wasn't any towels people had to keep going to ask the front desk. You think after the second group of people asked for towels they would come refill them and straighten up. The hot breakfast that's served in the morning was good only complaint is everything wasn't labeled and they only had one meat option. Other then that the staff was very nice and it's a good hotel.

I’m staying here for probably two nights. So far, a pretty decent hotel. I like the TV, the kitchen, it’s all great. I love it!

Hyatt Place was great. Easy check in process; we had keys within 5 minutes of walking in. Hosts were very friendly and have great information regarding breakfast and amenities. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very clean. TV can be seen easily from beds or couch. I especially liked that there is a guide to show what is playing, not just a channel list that you have to click through. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. No pancakes or waffles, but there were fresh scrambled eggs and two kinds of sausage, as well as toast, English muffins, Greek yogurt, fruit salad, oatmeal, and milk/juice. Check out was just as easy. Express checkout online, and turned in keys on the way out. Very convenient location, too. Only about 2 miles to the airport. They do offer a shuttle, but we had a car, so we didn't use it.

Pretty nice, met all my needs. Wish they kept an extra pillow in the closet. Other than that great experience.

Very convenient to get the train to downtown. There is hotel shuttle service available every 20 mins to go to the airport and the bus/train station which is below the airport. We spend almost 10 days here and the hotel staff was so helpful, professional, accommodating to our needs and always had a smile on their face. I am definitely going to stay here on my next visit to Chicago.

Lived this hotel stay. Everything was great. You feel like your in a hotel that's worth double what you paid. Breakfast is phenomenal, rooms are immaculate. The bathroom is one I have always wanted in my own home. The small lounge area in each hotel room is very nice.

Excellent stay. The rooms were very clean and spacious and I loved the shower. The hotel was also convenient to restaurants.

Was only there for a five hour sleep, but very spacious for a family of five. Great shuttle to airport. Didn't get to eat breakfast, but it looked yummy. The coffee was Seattle's Best and was actually really tasty!

Modern hotel with excellent security especially the room keys and elevator access. The house keeping was awesome. I borrowed a steamer too. I just had to leave my driver's license.

Rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. The shuttle to the airport runs every 20 minutes and was great. It was really quite even though it was next to the airport. The shades/blinds were a little confusing but that's about it.

The location is convenient to the airport and the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms were in good condition and had everything we needed. The check-in process was quick and simple. There was a free breakfast and a free shuttle to the airport. The parking is somewhat expensive, but it seems much safer than other parking options. Generally, a great experience!

Nice Hotel. Room was very clean and nicely laid out. Staff was very nice and helpful. About 8 minutes away from Midway Car Rental Return. Definately return if possible.

We stayed here while we made a home owners insurance claim. The front desk was accommodating to move my room so I was adjacent to family members. They were great to interact with when we had to add days to our stay. They remembered our family by name for breakfast. They even lent me a pair of scissors! The rooms are clean and well appointed. They made our stay bearable. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

I was surprised at how beautiful this hotel was. It looks absolutely brand new with accommodating rooms. The service staff was very responsive and the manager there was impeccable. If the lobby had more to do it would be a five star hotel. I will be staying here everytime I visit Chicago based on the price and the level of quality.

Hotel staff is super awesome. Everyone is very helpful and they made our stay super easy. Nice hot indoor pool area even though it was — 6 outside. The bartender Cleveland makes a fabulous drink!

Breakfast was warm. Staff, some friendly some not. Computer area very good. Room and bathroom awesome. Hotel very clean. Overall I would stay again.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was very helpful. Shuttle service to the airport very convenient. Hotel is only 2 years old and so everything is very modern and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Having been to other Hyatt place, and as a member, I always enjoyed my stay. The room here is clean and good. Good window views. I was so heavily disappointed at one thing, none of the rooms have microwave. I mean none. There is only one for the entire hotel and is located downstairs while my family and I were in the 6th floor. I had a toddler, and needed her food warmed at the middle of the night. I couldn't believe myself. Thought microwave should be basic like everywhere we've been. Even the disabled has to always come outside the room to use microwave. Insane really!

I stay here off and on, almost half of every month. I am extremely particular, anything not right has been made right, they will go to most any length to accommodate you. They don't have the biggest or best breakfast of all the other places around but it is balanced and mostly healthy, and probably the only thing approached with minimalism. Safe, secure, and nicer than the cookie cutter hotel room everybody else has used for decades.

Great accommodation service — they allowed us to check in much earlier which was extremely helpful and considerate. The food was good but no room service, I had to go downstairs to pick it up… which is the only reason for not a perfect 5 stars. Clean room, comfortable bed, swimming pool but no whirlpool (hot tub). Great location and convenient from the airport and other places.

The small things make a big difference. Prior to staying at the hotel, we were greeted by the hotel manager with a personal email notifying us about all the amenities and other important information about staying at the hotel. None of the other Hyatt's we had stayed at did this. The hotel looks new and is clean and modern. Staff are friendly and helped us on how to get to downtown Chicago and what to do there. Breakfast has several good items and hot food. Also had a chance to use the pool. Great place to stay. Would recommend!

A great experience as usual. Room was clean, front desk was helpful, and they even had a room available for me to drop off my bags and get settled before check-in when we arrived earlier than expected. Hyatt never fails to please.

I really loved staying at this hotel. The hotel is very new and is therefore very up to date and clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious (and included). Will definitely stay here again. Only complaint was that the bathroom door in tbe room is a glass slider and is not very private. The room door also didn't keep out the hallway noise but didn't hear any noise from adjacent rooms.

Lovely new hotel. Sleek food menu available 24x7. Great large rooms. Good breakfast included. No tip culture. What more could you ask for? Oh! Plenty parking spaces & right next to the Midway airport.

Tonight we walked up to check-in and the two front desk ladies were talking amongst themselves. They continued to talk to one another for about two minutes, then one of them finally decided to acknowledge us. There was no professionalism from either one of the ladies. Their conversation seemed to be more important than taking care of their guests. It was not a good first impression of the hotel. Other than that incident, the property is very nice and well maintained.

The room is great and the shower caps it off. The greeting at check in is well appreciated. The location is convenient to find all you need and with in range of Uber to allow for transportation where needed. The hotel provides transportation from and to the Midway Airport. The breakfast is great and offers almond milk for the non dairy type such as myself.

This hotel was super clean and polished. One of the best free breakfasts I have had (beats Marriott. ) Friendly staff.

Was there for a reunion the staff was really really nice, and the rooms were decently clean. Breakfast was ok. Overall I loved my visit.

This is one of the most hospitable businesses I have dealt with in years. My husband and I were on a flight to Midway that was cancelled from our layover location in Cincinnati. We ended up having to rent a car and drive through the night the rest of the way through some terrible storms. They let us cancel our first night's stay when we called after our flight was grounded and then allowed us to check in for our second night's stay when we arrived, completely exhausted, at 6am. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the pillows. I wasn't a fan of having the toilet separate from the sink (and with no door to where the sink was). The breakfast was great and always well stocked. The coffee was terrible, but that did not take away from the very positive experience we had. I will definitely seek out Hyatt properties for my future hotel stays!

Great stay. Pet friendly for our dog Kirby. Staff very courteous and professional. Big ups to employee TK, she went above and beyond — assisted w packing our vehicle and helped get our elderly parent into our vehicle. Thank you! Big.

Loved everything, but the housekeeping left my door unlocked until I returned for my second night at 9:30 pm. All my belongings we're exposed ALL day since they went in the room when I left at 8:00 am. Big no no, regret I left them a nice tip.

Stayed at his Hotel over this past weekend! easy check in and out etc. Very nice hotel. I went into this expecting less and was really Blown Away by the Hospitality! I will definitely recommend to others staying in Chicago for Chicago open air or Lollapalooza! Free Shuttle to and from the airport!

WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE** While I had planned to write a lovely review, I am FURIOUS at the events unfolding tonight. We had 3 rooms and used their park & fly option. Had a great stay until I found out when my family flew home & picked up my sisters car, her spare tire was stolen. I KNOW cops patrol that lot & they hire security… I KNOW hyatt had cameras on their building, yet the Vicky at the front desk refused to help and actually kicked my sister out of the building We had THREE rooms so I will make sure to answer your little surveys accordingly and will cancel my future reservations I had for your hotel. Do not trust your vehicle in their lot!

My wife and I have status with Hyatt properties so we thought it would be a good idea to stay at this location considering we as a family of five were flying out the next day from Midway. Our sons were extremely excited about using the swimming pool like they always do when we stay at a Hyatt property for Easter. However at this location they're obviously not concern about Hyatt's reputation. There was this group there that occupied the pool the entire day. And they weren't the most pleasant to be around. The kids were rude, obnoxious, and their parents allowed it. Not Hyatt's fault. However when we brought it to the front desk agent Vicky's attention she was extremely combative with my wife about it. Informing my wife that they were paying guest. So basicly we had to deal with it. First and last time here. If you're ever in Chicago and want to be around civilized guest at a Hyatt. Don't go here. I would recommend downtown.

Nice rooms. Very clean. Decent price for area. Bar is very limited in beer. Breakfast average for a hotel. Friendly staff though. Small lifting room, and pool was closed prior to posted time every night I was there.

Great room service free breakfast/brunch comfortable beds okay rooms pool. Hot tub. Gym I recommend it!

The staff was exceptional. They were very interactive and took great care of us. We stayed for about 3 weeks on business. The rooms were average but clean. The only thing they didn't have was a microwave. The breakfast was good in the weekend but it lacked a little during the week days.
