Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Dirty room, bathroom and sheets. Just nasty.

Clean rooms, great price and a very kund and helpful staff.

I stayed at super 8 Champaign for a week. This place is clean and affordable compare to other motels in town. The room I stayed was clean and smelled fresh. Kudos to the staff, they are professional and friendly. They have huge parking at rear and it is the best place to park your big truck. They provide breakfast in the morning which is nice. :) I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for most affordable motel in Champaign.

It smelled like cat pee. Then when I entered the room. It smelled even worse than the hallway. The company I booked it through. A 3rd party. Wouldn't give me money back. So I took the loss, and went to a different place. That nights total was only suppose to be $65 dollars. I just needed a bed and a shower. That turned into $210 dollars. Due to the cat pee. I will never book a room at the 8 ever again. That's super 8 in Champaign, Ill should be closed down for good.

I love the location. McDonald's and Taco Bell across the road, food court is visible from my room, everything you need within 5 minutes of where you are. Room could use some updates but all in all a good stay. I've been here 3 nights.

Ok place to stay for a night. Very nice location right across from the mall and plenty of restaurants which is great.

If I was rating the staff, I would give them 5 stars. They were very nice and really wanted to ensure we were happy with our stay. Fam ate the waffles and the various muffins and pastries at the breakfast. I came there late and they offered to get me anything I wanted. They would of pulled out anything I needed or wanted. Mattress were very comfortable and looked new. Linins were new. Pillows were new. The place did have that smoke smell, even in the non smoking rooms. Looked like fresh paint inside as well We had some tweaker in the room above us, pacing the floor the entire night. It was really bad the second night. I had to go to the front desk at 4am. They did what they could and those people settled down. There were some cool ground hogs outside. Those were cool. Overall, 3.5 stars.

If I could give no stars I would. The room looked nothing like the pictures online. It was truly a dump. These are the actual pictures of the room I got. I guess it should have been a sign when there were no cars in the lot at check in.

Smoking rooms was gross. Didn't feel comfortable staying and checked out. Front desk was very rude. Never have received my rewards points that I used as promised by the manager.

Decent price, great room and service, but breakfast was disgusting. The breakfast room was totally trashed and the front desk was nonchalant. There was a giant jug of syrup, a tub of Country Crock and a dirty metal knife out on the counter, and waffle mix everywhere including covering the counter, the waffle machine, and the dispenser. The floor was sticky and dirty, it was just a disappointment all around. So, hotel is nice, but I recommend getting breakfast somewhere else.

Before I have checked in my card has been ran for my wrestling teams rooms… thankfully I barely had enough to cover them. I was assured multiple times that my card would not be ran as I was bringing a school issued check and they agreed that that was fine… not paying attention to detail has cost them my services ever again! and I highly recommend not dealing with the hassle of people not listening/understanding you. Lets see what happens when I check in stay tuned.

Cheap n classy motel in town… love the staff. The way they welcome their guest, their hospitality n everything m gonna stay everytime with them and you should too. You can shop nearby every major brand for shopping is nearby and also near to the highway.

It's a decent place to stay if you don't mind being sexually assaulted when you check in and when your checking out. The front desk clerk doesn't seem to see what's wrong with grabbing a woman's chest and her butt, even after you tell him no his words were " It's different where I'm from".

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It smells very bad inside and when we got into our room the blankets were dirty and nasty.

Very nice compared to most Super 8 hotels. Room was clean and modern. I think it is totally non-smoking which I consider a major +.

Room smelled strongly of cologne. Was fine but not great. About what I expected though.

This is a clean and comfortable otel. The staff are helpful and will check you in and out quickly. Close to the freeway and shopping.

Lowest price in town, friendly staff, and a basic breakfast included. The room was a little musty and the bathroom was clean but not perfect. Over all for the price and the location being convenient to the rest of town I'd recommend this hotel.

The motel was clean and well kept. Staff was very professional and very friendly. For the price it was definitely worth it. Don't expect a resort BUT it was comforetable.

Worst hotel in the world! disgusting conditions inside the rooms, and vomit in the hallways and marijuana being smoked in the rooms! avoid at all cost!

The breakfast was very simple. The beds are pretty comfortable. Very friend staff.

The Super 8 is clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

Arrived, having made a reservation, but "it wasn't in the system". Grr. Not what you want to hear after 12 hours of driving. Mike at the front desk was pleasant but flustered as he searched to no avail with Wyndham customer service on the phone. After a considerable hold time, he said that he could just match the corporate rate I had, and go ahead and check us in, since the error was on their side. Small world! He went to college near where I grew up, and still has friends there. XD The rooms are simple, but have been renovated recently, so everything is clean and doesn't feel as old as the hotel is. Ours had a fridge, but surprisingly no microwave. (Both seems to be the standard now, but this is not a complaint as we did not need a microwave. Just an observation. Good channel selection. Flatscreen TV, nice tub with HOT water! Room was marked as 2 Queens when I booked, but the beds seemed narrower than that. Also, the beds are VERY tall, so it's an actual *climb* into bed. Little more expensive than I'd ordinarily pay for a Super 8 or other equivalent hotel brand. But it's cheaper than some surrounding cities! It's just Illinois. XD Enjoy your stay here!

Room was clean, but spare — clearly been renovated in the past few years, but things like doors and locks are original. No microwave in room is disappointing; that's something I expect nowadays even at budget hotels.

Great hotel. Check in guy was very nice and helpful. Will stay again when in the area.

1st room dirty sheets, 2nd room someone was in it, 3rd room ok, but killed a few bugs.

I stay at this hotel one a month for work. I have always had great and friendly service with a clean room. It's your average super 8, good price, average breakfast with waffle option. I come back here by choice.

Me n my brother r truck driver had to layover til monday morning to deliver r load figured we could get a good night's sleep n rest up. 1st room was a mess, bath had all kinds of grim, floors was dirty and there was hair on pillows. So they gave us another room it was bout the same, 3rd room was ok took a shower got ready for bed laying there n dam roaches started to crawling around on the walls with the lights on. No more motel 8 for me… I will just sleep in my truck…

I cringe to the thought of having to stay in this place again. The rooms were dirty, the front desk help wasn't friendly and the beds are uncomfortable. My fiancé and I slept with our clothes on because we felt the beds were covered in filth. The rooms had an odd smell. We wanted the night to pass ASAP.

Terrible, dirty, bad service i went to front desk to get another key made because mine was not working and there was a line at the front desk. I was told to wait my turn when I was already checked and all I needed was a key to get in my room. I was told by the owner that he would take care of anything I needed and when I needed the key without waiting behind other customers, I was told to wait. What nerve the owner was very rude.

This hotel is not bad if it had a better TV it would be 4 stars.

The bathroom was dirty especially the floor. We would stay there again it was worth the $59.99. Just keep your shoes or slippers on. The carpet needed to be vaccumed. The sheets were clean and the beds cozy. The water pressure was terrible in the shower. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The continental breakfast was standard the muffins were fresh.

Best hotel and room for the price you pay. Hotel room and bathroom are clean, but the hallways/corridors could be well maintained. Hotel employees are welcoming.

I don't understand why all the other reviews are so negative. This hotel is dated and certainly not the ritz however our room was $60 after taxes and we got a good room for what we paid. The staff weren't too personable but only spoke with them for the 4 minutes it took to check in. No bugs or funky smells, we did get a smoking room so it had the permanent smoker smell but thats to be expected. No pool or hot tub but our room was nice for a cheap hotel. Truck parking for up to two standard rigs, shouldn't have a problem if bobtailing.

They tried but it seems like they didn't have decent standards on clean. I did not see any bugs the 4 days I was here. She whole place wasn't dirty just some of the rooms hadn't been cleaned properly. Incense ashes on the nightstand. Urine not wiped off the the toilet seat. Grime on the furniture in the winter so it wasn't due to humidity. Never made it down in time for breakfast. The last room I tried was ok.

I stayed here for one night for a wedding because it was cheap. Our room smelled terrible and musty — like a wet dog. Had it not been for that, it would have been fine. I didn't have a problem with the staff — they let us check in a couple hours early, which was nice. The breakfast was pretty barebones, but considering what I paid for the room, I can't really complain.
