This place is NASTY! Can’t believe they’re still open! Owner obviously don’t care. Needs to shut down ASAP!

The rooms are beyond nasty. No one cleaned them at all. I demanded my money back and went else where. I’m.

The bed is so uncomfortable I am in pain from it. The edge of the bed had a hard metal. It’s not worth it. We left after 3 1/2 hrs.

Excellent hotel but the pool was down tho.

Great beds, great sleep but breakfast closed a little early. I’ll just go to Coyote Canyon down the road.

The room was great, staff was friendly. This is the second time we stayed there that the "hot breakfast provided" was missing. If making a waffle is the substitute I don't think we'll be back. There are so many other choices available in the nearby area.

If there were any way to give this slum no stars, I would. Just 2 words BED BUGS. Sadly I didnt read the reviews before staying as I am not the first person to have this problem (see july 1st review). When the matter was brought to the owners attention, he basically said we were liars. So if you dont want to spend thousands on an exterminator bill, pay an extra $20 and stay somewhere nice… er!

The only good thing about this hotel was that the bed was comfy. I had two towels and that's it. I didn't have any shampoo or conditioner out just lotion and my AC unit kept making noises every time it turned on. I already knew that the pool was out of order but everything else was out of order as well. That place is in need of a serious remodel.

We have stayed here in previous years but found that it had gone quite a bit downhill this time around. Although easily accessed from the highway and situated near to everything in the Bradley/Bourbonnais/Kankakee areas, we were disappointed by many things here. First of all, the heater in the pool was not working so that is closed, immediately putting a damper on our visit. Then, several things in our room were broken, including both inner and outer door locks, a TV that didn't work, and a standing lamp which had exposed wires hanging from it. There were several other signs of disrepair in common areas, and overall the hotel was dingy and unfresh. The breakfast was better than a simple Continental, but not by a large margin. In any case we do not plan on staying here again.

Pool down for maintenance, room keys didn’t work, TV didn’t work, room clearly hasn’t been vacuumed, leaky shower… we checked out within 15 mins of checking in. No refund offered or given. Walked next door and got a room at the Holiday Inn, thankfully. This place needs some work to accommodate guests properly.

If I could not give any stars I would! Smelled like stale beer which made sense because it was spilled in the windows of one room and beer caps in another. Pool was not working either. We left and checked in at the Holiday Inn next door.

We were in our semi over night in the parking lot due to we arrived early this morning and check in is at 3pm. We walked in and the female desk clerk was rude. We waltto the restrooms. While in the restrooms, the clerk shut the doors to the breakfast room. When we came out, I wanted to check out the breakfast area for our stay tonight. With this type of rudeness we went online and cancelled our week reservation. We felt we were treated like homeless bums. We were clean with clean cloths. She needs to remember everything she owns travels on a truck at some point in the makoma. Trucks stop, America stops.

Here are my complaints : it is super hot. The AC units in the halls are not working. That is also the case in some rooms. the pool was closed So, Here are my compliments : Friendly staff Clean rooms I liked the towel holder in the bathroom. A nice selection for breakfast, during my stay there were cheese omelets, sausage, waffles, pastries, bagels, ceral, yogurt, juice coffee tea. Tina, kept everything stocked and clean for the next person. I would be willing to go back if its not so hot next time.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past with no issues. This time however, I have never been treated so poorly. Upon check-in there was a sign posted the pool was down for routine maintenance. I accept keys and went out to the car to tell my wife and kids and we decided we were going to look for abother option while we sat in the car. We found one about 45 mins later so went to cancel our room. That was when I was informed that I would not be refund for any of my three night stay. I asked what would happen if I just checked out I the morning due and the answer I recieved is I would not be charged for the unused nights. How in the world does that make sense! Not to mention upon reading other reviews this hotels pool has been down at least a month but the review states hotel staff said it has been down for months! This is not acceptable by any means and I strongly recommend you find a different hotel to stay at. The lady checking in also agreed that she felt it was wro g but there was nothing she could do. Very unhappy and very upset with how the owner handled the situation.

I wish I could give negative reviews! Booked 2 months in advance and they couldn't even make a courtesy call that pool would be down. Then the owner wants to keep our full 3 night stay money even if we only stay 1 night. Piss poor customer service.

We tried to stay here. Made reservations 3 weeks before our arrival date. I asked if pool was up and running. I was told yes. We drive 7 hours with a 2 year old, get to the hotel the desk associate was on the phone with another associate for over 8 min. Didnt put them on hold, didnt acknowledge our arrival, and the pool was closed. We cancelled our reservation and went to the holiday inn in the same parking lot with nicer staff and a working pool.

Comfy beds but the rooms could use some maintenance. Replace outlet covers if they are broken and the cover for the a/c was in pieces.

We had a group staying the night (5 rooms)! We called less than a week before our stay to make sure they had a working pool. We were told Yes. As we checked in, there was a small sign stating the pool was out of order! The pool was the only reason we were staying there. The hotel knew the pool was out of order and lied to us. We were told the worker who we talked to was new. I’m sorry but that is NO excuse! We should have been refunded for this, instead, the owner thought 15% was reasonable because the pool is only an amenity is what we were told. He wouldn’t even talk to us. Unbelievable. Next we were told there was no management until Tuesday! Are you kidding me, no management! Just RIDICULOUS. It was a busy weekend so most hotels were sold out! We were stuck staying there. The only positive of this stay was the girl at the front desk. She was very sweet and I know she wished there was more she could do. I DO NOT recommend this hotel, ever! Very poor management!

I enjoyed my stay, clean, friendly staff, decent free breakfast. My only small complaint was that my room had a smell of an older “smoking room”. I had a cousin staying In another room down the hall and she said her room smelled the same way. It wasn’t bad enough to ask for a different room and I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn’t for that smell. Great hotel and great price!

Worst hotel experience I have ever had! The manager Christine Bowers and employee Kimi have the worst customer service. I wanted a refund and could not get my money back! Stay away people worst experience ever!

This hotel was great! The room was clean the bed was comfortable and the place was quiet all together. The hotel manager was able to accommodate me with a earlier check in due to me driving all night to get here and the price was really great for the quality of the room. The breakfast on Saturday was delicious and has very many options. This will definitely be my hotel of choice for when I come home for visits with my family.

After a full day of work and a 20 hour drive, we had the pleasure of sleeping next door to a room full of children. The second night, we were awoken by two people fighting in the hallway all night. Then awoken again by the cops beating on the doors. Then awoken AGAIN by the front desk person. The bed was seriously uncomfortable and the people throwing each other into our door, WORST hotel I have stayed at. Management was aware of the fighting and the cops, but still refused to give any sort of credit for the inconvenience of spending the weekend there and having to drive the 20 hours home to Florida with NO sleep. I will NEVER let anyone I know stay there. If you are down for midnight drunken fights and dealing with cops, go ahead, but never again will I stay in this nightmare of a hotel.

Pretty good place for the price. The night manager on 9/15/17, Tremell Young, is the nicest, kindest man who went beyond the call of duty to help me out with several issues.

Stayed here for a couple nights for work. Overall I really like the place. The beds are incredibly comfy and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is the same breakfast you'll find in most hotels. And the Wi-Fi isn't the best, but it gets the job done.

What I am about to share is going to sound crazy, but you can't make this stuff up. We booked this hotel last minute through Priceline and checked in around 11:30p. The desk clerk asked a verifying question and had our address completely wrong, that should have been our first sign something was off, but we had traveled 15 hours that day and were exhausted. We went to the room given to us, swiped our key, attempted to open the door, but the latch that opens the door a smidge was in use from the inside. Second sign something was wrong, but again, we were too tired to think clearly. So, I made an atttempt to unlatch it from the outside and all of the sudden I heard a voice on the other side of the door, and a very angry and startled fellow hotel guest opened the door and asked what we were doing. Somehow, that room was double booked. We apologized profusely and went to tell the clerk the mishap. He spent a good amount of time telling us there shouldn't be anyone in that room because no one was registered for the room. He said he would need to go talk to that person because he wondered if he was trying to stay in a room for free. I immediately felt uneasy. The clerk put us in another room on a different floor (thank God). When we arrived to our new room, I was so scared someone else might be staying in that one too. Fortunately that wasn't the case. I was still shaken up, so I though taking a shower might help me relax a little bit.

Cleanliness was not a priority here. Loud guests all hours of the night, and the customer service was sub par. I dont think anyone who works here wants to.

I stayed here back in the 2000s when it was the Hampton Inn and the room was nice and the staff was good to us and the service was good.

Location is fine, next to a cracker barrel. Free breakfast is ok, pretty basic, hot eggs and sausage links, waffle machine, various pastries and bagels. Free Wi-Fi, signal isn't very strong. Comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels. Decent size rooms.

Nice clean well kept hotel. My only concern was we left for breakfast and returned to find we were look out our room before check out. We were told sometimes the keys does that which wasn't a valid explanation. I would have preferred them to apologize and say they though you check out because we seen you leaving with your bags.

This hotel is cozy and the management nice, I would stay at it again if I have to. The gym is not really a gym, but is better than nothing. Nice indoor pool and a decent breakfast. My room was clean and very comfy.

I don't know if there has been recent changes made or what, but reading these other negative reviews is surprising to me. My son and I stayed here last weekend and absolutely loved it. The room was spotless, everything we needed was available, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the free breakfast in the morning was much better than your usual "continental breakfast" providing homemade waffles, omelettes, and many other delicious choices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The price was actually $5 less than the Super 8 down the road, which is not even close to comparing to this hotel. Great job everyone!

Was great at first but then two days after we checked out they charged my card, after I had already paid on Expedia. I called and explained the issue and then they credited the money back, but then two days later charged my card a second time. Called to get it taken care of, was told by the first person that they didn't know where to look or how to fix it. I was told that a manager would call me back to fix it, received no call back. So I called again and spoke with someone who told me that it had been taken care of the second time but the money was never refunded. My wife called and was hung up on. We're still going round and round with them to get them to give our money back that should've never been taken in the first place. Steer clear!
