We have used Cobblestone twice before and have been very happy with everything. The staff is always great and the breakfast is fantastic.

Broke down across the street and stayed here for the night very clean and comfortable the man working was extremely accommodating and helpful to my situation. Hard to find a place that cares will defiantly be back if out that way again.

We love this hotel! The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is perfect (right off the highway! ). We have stayed in this hotel several times over the past few months and fully intend to stay again and again and again! It's our favorite stopping place! You will not be disappointed!

The bed was excellent! Louise in the morning was a wonderful and amazing woman!

The hotel was very clean and seemed new or recently remodeled. The rooms were very nice with refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend.

Great staff and a great place to stay, I left before they served breakfast but the staff left me in early and cooked me some omelette’s it the most clean hotel I have ever stayed in.

We recently stayed here. Due to our RV breaking down. Everyone was awesome. Took care of everything we needed. We had our 2 month Grandson with us who could not stay in a Hot RV. We had a wonderful breakfast. Plenty to eat. And everything so clean. They let us have a late checkout cause didn't know if RV was going to be fixed. But Thank GOD we made it back to Ohio, Thank you Everyone.

Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Free hot breakfast and Wi-Fi. Bar available. Hot cookies. No pool at this time.

Nice place to stay. Walk across the parking lot to Joe's pizza for great food and a cold beer.

I cant remember the ladies name but she was Great! It was my wedding weekend and everything that could go wrong did go wrong, she even offered to follow me and my family back to Indianapolis to make sure we made it back safe, My phone would not get service in Effingham so I used her personal phone because you cant text on land line and just a listening ear even tho she had work to do… Great free breakfast, Clean Rooms and a mini casino!

Clean and great staff. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Lots of options of foods.

The price was fair and the rooms were nice. Good breakfast and staff was courteous and accommodating.

I had a nice stay here. I had a clean room with a spotless bathroom and clean towels. Take advantage of the free breakfast, it was good.

This is so not a two star hotel not just because it has great rooms and facility but also the people like Karen make this place amazing. I forgot my very expensive watch in the room. She was not only nice enough to call me and tell me I forgot it but shipped it personally to me the same day. One of the best experiences we had at any hotel. Thank you Karen!

This was a very clean quiet hotel glad we stopped. They had an amazing complimentary breakfest. Clean soft beds free Wi-Fi and cable.

Not going to find a better hotel in this price range, good breakfast and amenities, very satisfied. We have not been to another hotel that we actually liked as much as this one in a long time. Place is nice & clean, modern and smells good to.

This place is great. Clean and quiet. Great biscuits and gravy and coffee. The staff is fabulous. Louise who checked us in and Karen that checked us out were wonderful. Love the smiles and the down-home feel of friends.

We recently stayed at this hotel and our stay was made memorable by Karen, the front desk/breakfast person. I have terrible sensitivity to light and noise which meant I couldn't manage to stay in the breakfast room. I sat in the lobby and Karen asked if I was ok
When I told her about my problem she went and fixed a plate for me and brought it to me
I consider that gesture to be over and above her job description. I was so impressed at her thoughtfulness. Thanks again, Karen.

Stayed the night here on my way to Decatur, IL to purchase a vehicle. I came in late at night and they cut me a great deal for the night. Hotel was very clean and new. Breakfast was hot with staff willing to help us out with anything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

Very nice newer hotel. We had the king suite and was more room then we needed, but it was all that was available at that time. It has a full size fridge, stove top and dishwasher. Great place, wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the amenities it had.

Go here. Staff greeted massive load of people on short notice (myself included) with a smile. They worked hard to make sure all the rooms were properly cleaned and recommended a good place to go out to eat. If I'm around these parts again, I'm coming here. Things it had in my room: CLEAN beds Microwave Refrigerator Safe TV atop a dresser with droors Lamp with convenient outlets on the base for easy access charging Work desk with another lamp with outlets Iron Hangers Full bath Window Trash bin Mirror outside of bathroom as well as in the bathroom Hair drier in bathroom Coffee maker WITH assortment of teas and coffee provided free with the room. Service was good and the rooms were really clean. Desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was kind of small, and there was no pool.

The Cobblestone Inn was really nice. Our room was affordable and outfitted with a full size refrigerator, a stovetop, and a king size bed. The place must have been recently renovated. It was very clean and inviting. I thought the layout of the amenities was clever. The reception desk is attached to a little snack area as well as a bar, so all three places can be served with minimal staff. The breakfast was also good, with make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, cereal, light pastries, etc. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Cobblestone is a very nice upscale budget hotel. I stayed in a 2 Queen room on the ground floor; it was exactly the room I would have expected at any 3 star hotel across the country. A quiet place with interstate access 30 seconds away, Cobblestone includes a mini-fridge and safe in each room, well lit parking, a limited service bar/lounge, gaming machines, and a complimentary breakfast. If you're traveling for business or pleasure and look for a quiet place to work or rest, this place is perfect. If you need to entertain, want to be closer to medical facilities, or want to take in more of a nightlife scene, you'll want to be in Effingham, just a few minuets East on I-70.

Huge rooms, very friendly staff and very well maintained inn in general!

We stopped on our way back to Kansas City from Columbus OH. Awesome place, small 2 floors quiet, very clean and the complimentary breakfast was great. Lots of choices. Very friendly and accomdating, will stay there again.

I stayed at Cobblestone Inn and Suites for a wedding. The location to the event was ideal. Only had to walk across the parking lot to get to hotel room. Checking in and out was a breeze and the room was very clean ans comfortable. I would highly recommend this place again.

Staff was great. Jim was really cool. I showed up late at night looking for a room and he was very accommodating. Very clean very friendly, really enjoyed the stay.

Was a FANTASTIC stay. Friendly staff and super comfortable beds. Plus a complimentary breakfast (non-continental, actual breakfast items), I say 10/10, would stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the new cobblestone inn in Altamont Illinois. Best nights sleep ever. Friendly staff and easy access from iner state 70. Great addition to Effingham county and Altamont!
