I've stayed here twice. The first time was by chance, but the second time was on purpose. It isn't a new hotel and it needs some updates, but overall a great hotel with great employees who seem to appreciate their customers. It's clean. The Continental breakfast is good. So the need for minor updates is zeroed out by the Staff. I would stay here Everytime I am in the area. Thanks Best Western.

I'm from N. Y. And I came up to Baltimore for a 50th birthday my in laws were hosting at your hotel. From check in to check out, all of your staff was friendly and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The bartender, pool lifeguard, receptionists at the front desk and even the maids were helpful and just cool. We slept in the king suite, which was super nice. And hit the continental breakfast in the morning for their awesome waffles! Definitely felt like a well needed vacation. Thank you.

Very beautiful place! Has a great breakfast bar with plenty of options. Awesome room service. And added bonus they had soap dispensers in the shower for shampoo conditioner and body wash.

Our stay was horrible. Our truck was broke into during the night. We went out in the morning found our tonnaeu cover cut wide open. Went into the front desk and asked if they had security cameras and were told none on that side of the bldg. Our truck was not the only truck to get broke into, another truck near ours had the same thing happen. Yet a truck on the other side where there was a camera was fine. Seems someone knows their security system! Asked the manager if this happens often. He said not really. However, when we spoke to the police they told us they are there all the time for similar issues. The police have been trying to get the hotel to get better security but they haven’t. This is a horrible area to stay. The day before on the next road over, our truck window was broken and bag stolen. Avoid the area like the plague! The breakfast area was very messy and staff just stood and talked. The rooms were old and their were no toiletries in bathrooms. I would never return!

Good location: surprisingly quiet considering its proximity & ease of access to the highway & major roads. No restaurant in the hotel itself, but did have a bar in the afternoon/evening. Several good restaurants & pubs nearby — some very nice ones if you're willing to go to Towson. Great breakfast; I eat low carb, my husband is a carbaholic, & we were both very happy. Comfy beds & pillows. Would have been nice to have either a folding luggage rack or a few more drawers — 3 drawers in a room with 2 double beds. Easily streamed a movie to our laptop without any "buffering" or "reloading" interruptions. A bit uncomfortable with identical I. D. & password for every guest (rubber stamped on the room key envelope). Wasn't there in warm weather, so can't comment on the pool area, but it looked good from what I could see. Nice lobby area, good place to sit & read or chat. Overall a good experience. Would definitely stay there again.

The room itself was fine, but the odor of the cleaning chemicals used in the rooms is overpowering and unpleasant. I called the front desk immediately to inquire, and was told that they knew what I was talking about, and that it was standard. I've never had this kind of experience — it was unusual, not just a little "whiff" of something. Late at night, close to 11 pm, other guests were running and shouting in the hall. We requested they keep it down, and they responded with obscenities. I reported to the front desk staffer when we left. She said she'd let the manager know; I haven't heard anything since.

The staff were very nice, check in and check out were very quick. I was hoping to check in at lunch time (I was in the area for a weekend training event) but couldn’t because housekeeping wasn’t finished, so it would have been helpful to check in earlier rather than later. The room itself was nice but the bottom part of the door looked like it had been kicked in and had some damage at the bottom. The hotel itself seemed in major need of an overhaul due to age, weather, and use. Nothing fancy but the bed was super comfortable and it was very quiet. Just want I needed.

The hotel looks like it was recently remodeled on the inside. Don't judge the outside appearance compared to the inside. The only complaint I had was the comfort of the beds. If you like a firm mattress then you'll love these. But if you prefer softer you will be disappointed. I enjoyed my stay. I used the workout facility each day, it was clean and nice. I would stay here again.

Each experience at this hotel has been very positive. When issues have arisen, they were rectified to my satisfaction. I cannot give enough praise for the employees for their outstanding courtesy & customer service. I made the right choice with this hotel & rewards program as I will be making many trips to this area in the future.

I love the new renovations. It looks modern & clean. The women at the front desk were very accommodating. I love the free breakfast… plenty of options. The towels were a little scratchy, other than that, I would definitely stay here in the future. Thanks!

We came to celebrate a family birthday. Upon arrival and throughout our stay we were met with very helpful and happy people. Everyone appeared to like working there. Even the manager was very visible and helpful. Usually I find managers hidden away letting their employees do all the work. This guy was there pitching in everywhere. I even found him cleaning up the workout room when I went there. Breakfast was fast and filling, with lots of healthy and unhealthy selections! Strongly recommend a stay here.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus Towson Baltimore North was an excellent choice and experience for the weekend we were there. The location was within 10 minutes of shopping and the venues we had to visit. The front desk staff was helpful in giving directions and the highway was just up the block. Best of all was the comfort of the beds and the atmosphere of the hotel in general. It was a pleasure to have stayed there, Ms. Charlene Shariff and Family.

I recently came to this hotel to visit family that came from out of town. It has greatly improved since the last time I was there. The lobby was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed in Towson, MD, and can’t express enough how I enjoyed my stay. Overall professional staff, particularly the bar attendant’s kindness and her prompt service made all feel welcome. The hotel was clean and housekeeping attentive and pleasant. I will return.

Clean and well-managed hotel/motel. Pretty quiet, too. Nice breakfast layout with enough variety for all. Good deal for the money really. Staff was quite capable and the bartender was wonderful!

I felt like it could have been kept up a little better. There were also bugs on the ceiling and in the shower which prompted me to ask my husband to check for bed bugs. There were none. Thank goodness! They provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in refillable containers in the shower and it wasn't until I was already in and soaking wet that I realized the conditioner and body soap were empty. Sheets were clean though and the staff was nice so I gave it a 3.

Stayed here for company paid business. I always do a thorough sweep of the room anytime go to any hotel. I did find a single living cockroach inside the dresser drawer. Aside from that, overall cleanliness was good. Could use a refreshening to the room decor. Maybe something lighter in color. Especially the carpet. Not a big fan of dark flooring. Hides too much, i. E. Dirt. Breakfast was nice. Attendants were nice, staying busy constantly cleaning up and checking the food. Once again overall, pretty good hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel at a reasonable price, located in a nice area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's not a restaurant in the hotel and no place to eat within walking distance, but you can have food delivered. It's 24 miles from the airport, and there's not a shuttle. I called the taxi company the night before I left and asked for a 4:00 a. M. Pickup. The driver was right on time and was very friendly. It did cost over $70.00 though, so Uber might be a better option. I don't have a smart phone, so I couldn't use them, so I don't know what it would cost. I'm not complaining, just letting people know some things that would have been helpful for me to know. My situation was probably unique. My son is a truck driver, and I was spending the week riding around the country with him. He dropped me off here at the end of the week so I could fly home, but that meant I didn't have a vehicle to get around. I picked this hotel because it was easy for him to get to, and it looked nice, but I didn't know how far it was from the airport or if there were any restaurants near by. The hotel itself is wonderful, and they are trying to get a restaurant in there.

The hotel was fine for the price that I paid except the walls are very thin. There was a man with a bad cough in another room and the people walking by in the hallway sounded like they were practically in our room. Other than that the hotel was fine for my purposes. The hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help.

This Best Western was just off the Interstate in Towson MD, so it was very easy to find. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the staff was helpful and friendly. Since it was in business park area, dining was little bit of drive but not too far.

Ok overall but could use updating. No dining area only a cash only lounge. Great location for us since we didn't need to be close to shopping or restaurants wouldn't be that great if you needed those amenities. Breakfast was not great could be improved for sure.

It was an ok place to stay as the rate was less than several other places. We had to get our room changed since there were very noisy tenants next to us. They changed us and upgraded our room, since there was nothing comparable, there wasn't an extra charge. The remote for the TV didn't work. The soap dispensers were awful that were near the sink and shower. They hardly dispensed any liquid. The faucet on the sink was loose and the floor near the micro and refrigerator felt a little sticky, Outside of that the room was clean the bed was comfortable.

Great location. Brandon — sales manager was AWESOME! Beautiful room. Tooth paste n mouth wash not available but no biggie. Nice breakfast items and clean place. Could do with air freshener on the corridor — maybe coz of smoking floor.

Location is right next to the ezstorage we had to get to in the morning. Quiet overall. Pillow is hard and thick like a stone. Comforter is kind of gross. Got maybe 5 hours of sleep. Breakfast is OK. Eggs are weirdly cooked and tasted fake to be honest. If not for the location, definitely not staying again. (Also shampoo box was completely empty)

Pros: Comfy beds & exceptionally clean rooms. Hot water in AM without any issues. Very easy to access off 695, close to downtown for entertainment. Great coffee, nice breakfast with sufficient food to power through your day. Cons: Room was a bit noisy — not sure if due to proximity to stairwell or just people letting their doors slam until well after 11pm. Deadbolt did not lock in 430 (cutout in the doorframe appears too small for the size of the deadbolt), making for somewhat uneasy sleep. The "security" latch seemed flimsy, I prefer the cozy security of a deadbolt (or a large armed man sleeping in the chair). Glen Eagles meeting room — Pros: great supply of water & coffee/tea; Cons: tables very small, do not accommodate 3 adults per table very well, room was hot & A/C units were too noisy to hear the speaker, projection screen was torn. If I had to stay here again for a class/conference I would. Comfortable, clean, and convenient.

This hotel has been nicely renovated; very comfortable beds. Staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent location near shopping, highways and area of town I like.

Great value! We have a son in college and always stay at Best Western in Rochester, NY when we go visit him. As we begin the college search for my daughter we thought we would stick with what we know and we were not disappointed in Towson MD. The bedroom was newly redecorated. The bed was awesome, I had a great night sleep and I usually don't in a hotel. There were plenty of pillows and towels, I sometimes have to ask housekeeping for more when it is more than just my husband and I traveling-no idea how some hotels think that when you book a room for four people you only need 3 towels. Parts of the bathroom were new (countertop, and fixtures) but the tile, caulk, and grout seemed older. My only recommendation would be to add an elliptical machine in the fitness room. :0)

I think the overall experience was great! Good beds, nice bathrooms, and the breakfast is great! I do feel like the TV quality could be a bit better. Anyways I love Best Western and would love to go there again!

Easy checking. Clean rooms. All you would expect from a Best Western. The real gem was the Hotel bartender. One of the friendliest I've ever met. She made the night cap a memorable occasion.

A fantastic bargain! The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities made our stay relaxing. The location was excellent. The staff was helpful. We highly recommend.

The hotel is a good location for the US1. It's a good idea to ask for a room with the back yard-it's much quieter. Clean and comfortable rooms.
No pool. In foot access, there's nothing on the road, like across the street, but you have to bypass through the nearest U-turn (kilometer and a half).

Hotel was a very nice place and amazingly quiet considering it was full one of the nights. However, the shower head was designed for a person well over 6 feet tale. I couldn't reach the head to change it to a harder spray. There were security bars in the shower itself only outside the shower. Odd. When I checked in the first gave me a room under construction and I had to take everything back down which was hard on me since I have limited mobility. I least they sent a maintenance guy with me to the new room. Overall, the place was very nice for the price. Clean, quiet. Price well.

Stayed at this Hotel on 4/16/2016 with my wife and 2 grand kids. I must say that the room was perfect in every way! First thing my wife did was inspect the room for cleanliness and found no issues. Beds were super comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep. The free breakfast was really good as well. Front Desk ladies were very friendly! I would not hesitate to stay at this location again!

Rooms are clean, not super nice, but good for the price. The bathrooms were clean as well. And we got free parking. My only complaints are about the basic, standard definition cable and the slow Wi-Fi.

Never never go to this hotel. Bed Bugs' hotel. We got bites just two days ago. When we went to the front desk and told the person that we got bed bugs bites, (more than 15 bites all over my upper body), she told us we have to call the manager during weekdays. (It was Saturday. ) Not sure how they will deal with it. Very disappointed with this hotel.

"It's a Best Western. " Was what my husband told me when I asked how nice the room was. It's not bad. Not a no-tel-motel nor the Ritz. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a mini-fridge and a microwave we had little use for as we stayed only one night. We did get a snack from the Asian restaurant downstairs and in the morning had the nondescript free breakfast. The breakfast was boring old free hotel breakfast with tasteless eggs, 2 waffle makers and the usual assortment of bread, yogurt and other cold items one finds at places like this. Hopefully we will never be stuck in North Baltimore again, but if we are it would be fine to stay here again.

Stayed here this past weekend. My company paid for my room. The person at the front desk asked for a credit card for a security hold which is normal at most places. I confirmed that it would not be used to charge the room too. I come home and im looking over my bank account, and what do I see? A charge for the room that I was told would not be charged to me. I called the DM of the location. He told me he would look into it and give me a call back. After not receiving a call back I look at my bank account to see if they issued a refund, But there is now a second charge from them. I call the hotel and im informed that the DM is no longer in for the night and I will have to deal with it another time. This is way unacceptable.

02/16/2016. I would like to thank you William, help desk person. He was extremely nice and professional. On my request to switch room with single bed to two double beds he took immediate action and made it happened right away. I will give 5 stars to hotel for its staff. Mr. Williams, thanks a lot. The rooms are a bit out dated and feel dirty. The lobby is honestly the best looking area.

First off we were down here during the blizzard. Do you think they could at least take one swipe with a plow every so often, no we had to dig ourselves out of the lot. Then I asked the front desk if they had a courtesy phone I could use to call up to the room and you would have thought I was asking them for their first born. The hallways have a smell to them and to top it off we had no hot water the 3 days we were here, called the front desk to see if they knew when we would get it and all they said was no, you think they could have elaborated on it, like they have someone working on it! We'll see when we go to check out weather they try to make things right, if they do I will change my review.

Location and price for the rooms are good. Breakfast is great. Only complaint is the shower didn't have that great of water pressure.

Check-in process was easy, hotel was crowded due to events happening in town. Hotel showed signs of age, furniture was banged up etc but overall nice hotel for the price. Good location also.

Everything was as we expected it. The morning continental breakfast was a nice surprise. Warm food and great service! We'll stay again, if need be.

I checked in. I went to the room and the refrigerator was not functioning. I called the front desk and Cory answered. He told me that he would send somebody up and two hours later no one showed. I called to remind him and informed him that if no one could come up straightway, to move me to another room. He asked me if I wanted to move and I suggested that would probably be best. He ask me to hold and ten minutes later I hung up. He never called me back or took any action.

The worst stay ever! my daughter found a TICK in the bed. I refused to stay in room where tick was found, and the hotel was fully booked. After 2 weeks management is not able refund me for hotel I had to pay for at another hotel. I will be contacting the BBB and the health department. I wouldnt have my doog stay in the this hotel.

The best thing about this place is the bar down stair very nice staff.

A joy to stay at. The rooms and hotel were clean, quiet and well appointed, with a small fridge and microwave. They have a great hot breakfast where you can make your pancakes and waffles fresh and stock a good variety of other breakfast staples. The staff have all been courteous, friendly and try to accommodate any request. They also make fresh cookies on the weekends and have free newspapers at the desk every morning, along with a 24 hour coffee bar. We had initially booked through a third party service and could only get a week, although we were looking at an extended stay due to the need to be close to Johns Hopkins to treat my seriously ill daughter. When they found out we were going to have to "hotel surf" for a month, they re-arranged their bookings and even matched the lower competitor's rate. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I will never stay at this hotel again. They only have three small pillows on a king sized bed and when we called the front desk to request another pillow we were told to come get it ourselves. We went down to the lobby (from the 6th floor) just for them to tell us there weren't anymore pillows. I wasn't feeling well the next day so my boyfriend we went to get us some complimentary breakfast and was told that we had to eat it downstairs. I spent money to sleep uncomfortably and have terrible customer service.

The bed was extremely hard. And the "non-smoking" room, smelled like someone smoked in there before we entered. Sticky stain on the desk as if it was never cleaned. High bathroom ink and cheap liquid soap in the shower. The breakfast looked rubber and the oj was lumpy. Will never stay at another Best Western.

I stayed in this hotel and I loved it, my room was very clean, plenty of towels and nice beds. For the breakfast could be better if were fresh egs, but still is good, but the good thing is they change the breaksfast everyday, (sausage, bacon, etc). The staff is very well trained, very friendly and I like that. very happy during my stay.
