Inn at Perry Cabin is an Absolutely delightful respite for travelers like us or just perfect for a romantic getaway anytime! The Inn is lovely, the staff, is so attentive and helpful, especially Ryan who saw to it that the iPad I left in the room was retuned to me! …. Drinks at cozy bar is such a refreshing, relaxing experience by the fireplace inside or fire pits outside! Dining at “Stars” is a culinary delight, set in the spacious, perfectly appointed, bright sun room with magnificent water view! The rooms are spacious and linens luxurious! Staying here has been on my bucket list for years along with strolling through St. Michael’s and this weekend we were finally able to get here! We will definitely go back! Do yourself a favor and enjoy a stay at this most lovely inn!

A must to put on your list for the eastern shore of Md. From reservation to checkout service was perfect. Food, rooms and the property are truly amazing. romantic, the most comfortable beds ever. Laid back, filled with daily local activities.

Everything about the Inn is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best places!

Where do I begin? First, this place offers guests a great facility and staff. Almost all views see the Chesapeake Bay. There are tons of great lounge spaces. And during the summer, there is an awesome pool. I was there in February, but I will definitely be back in July to check that out. The manager I talked to (Eva) was amazing and incredibly helpful. She personally showed me around the hotel. You can tell that they really want you to enjoy your time at the Inn and visit again. All of the staff has great pride in the hotel, and it's deserved. Another staff member (Doug) ran the activities for guests. He was also incredible. He ran a cookie decorating class for our two daughters. Then he even dropped off some small gift bags for them, containing some coloring books, toys, and a child's cup. Really above and beyond. The kids had a great time. Staff is The opening scene of the Wedding Crashers was shot here, btw. I could write a book here, but I'll keep it short. The food is excellent. We ate at the more upscale Stars Restaurant as well as the Pub. I don't think we had any meals off the property while we were there; it was just so delicious and easy. The Stars Restaurant is a bit more pricy, but the quality of the food and the presentation makes it worth it. I would recommend checking out Stars for at least one meal. We took our daughters there (2 and 5 years old), they enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Kids are allowed. The town of St.

We celebrated our 15th Anniversary at Inn at Perry Cabin! We had a private dinner at the River House and it was wonderful! We also enjoyed the swimming pool, Stars Restaurant, and all the beautiful nature, boats, and architecture around. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

The Inn at Perry Cabin is hands down, the nicest Inn I’ve ever seen. With breathtaking views of the harbor and a romantic lawn that boasts fire pits at every seating section, it’s no wonder it was chosen as the venue for The Wedding Crashers. The Inn itself is meticulous! White Glove service is at every turn and it is obvious that the owners cater to an upscale demographic with a taste for the finest. This is a “must” if you are ever at St. Michael’s Island.

Tranquility and romance. There are always activities on the grounds of the Inn. Activities like cava cocktails where you can learn about two new cocktails while you sip them; wine judgement is like a real wine judging contest and the history of wine judging is shared with you (Chance Miller is the sommelier-the best! ) ; Chance also facilitates “What’s my wine” which is a wine tasting that allows the participants to guess the wine; there are fitness activities in the river like paddle boarding and in the pool area, as well as s’mores and games. You can also take a leisurely walk into town and enjoy some of the great shops, boutiques and restaurants. It is pet and child friendly! This trip has become an annual trip for us!

Our true rest and relaxation place. The atmosphere is condusive to a quiet environment, if you want it. The breakfasts are wonderful as well as lunch and dinner. Have the crab cakes and the crab dip! Thank you Lauren and Shauna for great pub service! Till next time…

Beautiful setting, breakfast was gorgeous, from the moment you arrive, it’s like being at a home away from home, a holiday cottage by the water, but without any stress. Can’t wait to return.

The venue was beautiful and general staff very friendly. Managing staff though was not very polite.

Our waiter Gary was amazing! Her took great care to see that we had a perfectly relaxing evening. If its summer I recommend sitting outside by the firepits and enjoying cocktails cheese plate desserts… or a little of everything! Can't wait to go back. If you're not staying there arrive on the water taxi!

I was stopping by to make a reservation for an upcoming event. Initially noone was at the restaurant to speak with. After two wait staff said someone would be right over and a few minutes a young woman walked back and the phone started to ring. Instead of talking with me or the other couple waiting to be seated, she answered the phone and held a multi-minute conversation. She hung the phone up and it rang again almost immediately, and she answered it again. I guess their time and money is worth more than mine. So I booked reservations else where.

I understand you pay a certain amount for a certain level of service, but $6 for an 8 oz bottle of coke would be on the high side from a minibar. It is an insult to your customer when that it what you charge at lunch. Also disappointing to see an interesting lunch menu on the website and then to come in to something more basic and much more expensive.

My sister and I ate at Stars restaurant for lunch on Wednesday, June 27. We were seated next to the window with a beautiful view of the flowers and waterfront. There were not too many people in the restaurant at this time. While we were greeted immediately and pleasantly, the attentiveness of our needs became lacking. The food was very good. However, the flies were absolutely disgusting and an extreme nuisance. I would expect an restaurant of this caliber to have this much more under control. I understand flies/bugs can get in, but there were several and no one working there seemed to care. I did not see anything that would try to lure and kill them. Again, a restaurant of this caliber should not have this issue. That alone made the meal unpleasant — — which is ashamed since the food and ambiance was great. And, while the server was pleasant each time she came by, the attentiveness was definitely lacking.

I had booked 3 adults for the weekend. After the check in process we arrived to our room to find a single king bed. I had never booked a king room and was blamed repeatedly by the staff for booking the room incorrectly though my confirmation email clearly stated 3 adults and no where did it state I had booked a king room. I was told there were no available rooms but they could “provide a rollaway free of charge, even though they typically charge for such service”… so generous. Ultimately we left the property and elected to stay elsewhere due to the absolutely horrible service. For a luxury hotel, Belmond should be embarrassed. I was even more infuriated when I looked and found they doubled their normal rate that weekend, likely due to a local race in town making their compensation offer an even bigger joke. Save your money and stay at one of the other resorts in town.

Just returned from a wonderful visit to the Inn. The staff were amazingly attentive and friendly, and made our stay special. We had a room with a small garden outside the door, with a view of the water, which was so relaxing. The food was excellent both at Stars and in the Pub. A sailing adventure with Captain Buddy was a first for us — Captain Buddy, who is so personable, made the trip both interesting and fun. Also, highly recommend the Chi Gung class with Doug — invigorating and inspirational. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you everyone!

This is a beautiful property, a real gem. The amenities are good, the rooms range in size, accommodating the needs of different parties. The service is personal and warm. Good restaurants on premises. And right next to shopping in St. Michael's.

I had a relaxing Presidents Day weekend at the IPC. I have been here before, back to when Lord Ashley owned the inn. It has had its ups and downs. The previous owners (before Belmond) managed it poorly and I resolved never to return. Now under new ownership it has improved. But I can't give it five stars. The food at Stars was good, but not excellent. The breakfast was cold, especially the hash brown potatoes. And my room, though it featured an excellent view, had a couple of problems. The fireplace did not work. And the coffee machine in the room was difficult to work. I think the Inn needs to work more on improving the food at Stars, and overall improving the response from the staff when there is a problem. The staff could use an attitude adjustment. Overall, they need to be more polite and responsive. That is what people expect at a resort of this caliber. I hope this feedback is helpful. As I wrote, I give you four stars. But you should aim for five, and I have given you a few ideas. Thank you for reading this comment.

For reference, we visited here for a weekend getaway from DC. The property is beautiful, but in our opinion it’s not worth the $400/night fee. As a part of the American Express fine hotels program we expected a much nicer hotel. While the staff are incredibly nice and the main rooms are gorgeous, the hotel rooms did not meet expectations. We have stayed in many residence inns while traveling on the road and those rooms are comparable with the exception of nicer bathrooms at Perry cabin. Room service was mediocre and not worth the price. Our room service the first morning was cold (which they offered to rectify but we were fine with it) but then it was cold again the next morning. The pub had excellent food, and by far was the best part of the property. Do not visit the spa (review separately). If looking for dining, 208 Talbot is the best restaurant in town. Ultimately, we would have rather paid this higher price for an alternate location in the DC area.

Amazing place too stay. The free BMW car service in and back from town and the wine tasting class with Chance was great! The rooms are all perfect and so is the food. Honestly nothing bad to say. Already been there 3 times this year.

A venue for special events that require high standards and quality amenities.

My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon. We loved it! We will def go again. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the staff at guest services was unorganized. They put us in for our boat ride, and when we went to go, there was no record gets betterof it. They did fix it, and we were able to go. Next thing, they gave us a free drink coupon and didn't tell us, so the last day, they said that's what it was for. Rooms were very clean, and staff brought us anything we needed. Yes, we will go back again, hope the front desk gets better training.

My wife and I have a 60-pound dog and were able to reserve a pet friendly room. The staff was fantastic and treated our dog like a VIP. We (wife, dog and me) were able to enjoy most of the property with her, except for the dining room and bar. The Chef / restaurant staff was excellent. They special efforts to accommodate my wife's many allergies. We are looking forward to our next visit.

My husband surprised me with a weekend get away for our honeymoon. We had an absolutely magnificent time. The spa services were amazing. The accommodations were impeccable. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. The views were spectacular. We highly recommend this resort for anyone who is looking for a fantastic getaway. Mark and Tynnetta Graham.

Beautiful views of the water, delightful gardens and pathways. The Stars restaurant was delicious. The pool was refreshing and soothing.

Beautiful surroundings, the accommodations are very comfortable. The standard of housekeeping is incredibly high, everywhere is immaculate. Even the gardens are constantly being groomed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is wonderful, made with their homegrown herbs and they even make their own jam. The Spa is fabulous. I can't say enough good things about this place.

So gorgeous! It was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend. The drive in a white out blizzard on Saturday was a little hairy, and the frigid Temps had us a tad stressed, but the warm greeting and beautiful Inn, the friendly helpful staff and massage at the Spa quickly dissipated all tension. The room was amazing, large and luxurious, fireplace on, warm cozy inviting bed and a gorgeous bathroom, a view to die for. I felt like a princess. They parked the car near the room and brought the keys back quickly. The Pursuer bar was great for a quick late lunch/snack and a warm hot toddy to warm our chilled bones. Everyone was kind, courteous and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner and Breakfast in the main restaurant, dinner in front of the fire and breakfast in the best seatin the house. Center Of the dining room, center window looking at the water. Gorgeous! Had the weather cooperated we would have explored more. We will be back. The only item we were not excited about was the location of the TV. It should have been hung above the fireplace instead, it was on a chest at the foot of the bed totally obstructing the view of the fireplace. I give it 9.75… recommend very highly! :)

Gorgeous resort by Belmond properties that is pretty luxurious. The grounds are huge and amazingly manicured. They have great daily included activities such as kayaking, yoga, and paddleboarding. It is very pricey, and we thought the access for wheelchair/strollers to the water front area was not very convenient.

Our stay here was beyond amazing! Everything was great. The staff were great. The food was great. The location was great. All and all it was a wonderful experience. We will most assuredly be back. We will also be highly recommending our friends and family find a chance to stay here as well!

Amazing location, premises and service. All the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great weekend away. Only two complaints: firstly, HD TV should be standard everywhere by now, putting up with SD was unexpected; and secondly, the bed was somewhat lumpy, seemed a bit well worn.

The bar for lunch is a great little post if it's not too busy, nice little fire set up. The cocktails could be a little bit better.

The Inn at Perry Cabin is located in an amazing setting. This is the place to go if you might enjoy having a drink in an Adirondack chair overlooking the water. We made a point of complimenting the Inn's gardener. The gardens are remarkable. There are formal boxwood gardens, working gardens, cutting gardens, and just beautiful roses and flowering bushes by the entrances to the buildings. Most, if not all, of these gardens have benches and tables for the guests to relax and take in the surroundings. The Inns has complimentary kayaks, bicycles, Wi-Fi, and morning coffee/tea. Located less than 2 hours from Washington, DC, it's a great get-away.

My husband and I went to the Inn for afternoon tea today. We did not actually stay at the property, so this review is only on the afternoon tea. It. Was. Awesome. Our server, Chance, is the nicest person-maybe in the entire world. I feel like in another life, he was probably some sort of wandering monk, or environmental scientist who teaches gorillas sign language. When my husband and I renew our vows in 18 years, I'm going to ask Chance to be my Maid of Honor. And the afternoon tea, which cost $20 a piece, was amazing. Four types of tea sandwich, the best of which was probably the BLT with Brie. My husband said the plain turkey one transported him to the best days of his childhood. Continuing with one blueberry scone, a chocolate chip cookie, and some sort of chocolate berry pound cake. Those came with spoons of devonshire cream, lemon curd, and raspberry preserves. Then it ended with almond, chocolate, and lemon petit fours. The tea itself was very nice (we had Darjeeling and Earl Gray), and came in a generous sized French Press. We had tea on the patio, overlooking the GORGEOUS Miles River. You can see over towards the Maritime Museum, and watch the boats come in. Chance, the angel, brought over a map of the estate and told us a little about the plans for the grounds (they're working on becoming more Farm to Table). As we left, my Husband and I fantasized about living at the Inn, in some sort of hidden Narnia-like landscape, with Chance as Mr.

5 star service from the moment we arrived to the check out. The level of 'attention to detail' and willingness to make our stay as pleasant as possible was outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and at every occasion during our two night stay. We'll done and thank you you to all staff at Perry Cabin for making our visit from the UK such a memorable one.

I had the best, best time during my three night visit to The Inn at Perry Cabin in November. The staff was welcoming and warm, the food was fabulous and my room was lovely. The room was in the original part of The Manor House and was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The view of the Miles River was amazing. Sitting in the pub with a roaring fire in the fireplace and a cocktail was relaxing. I have been to many spas and I thought that the spa at The Inn was above average. I am already planning my visit for next Fall.
