Review of Comfort Inn Ocean City Boardwalk 2*

It was OKAY… would I stay there again? Most likely not. Several hotels I have stayed in have always granted us early check in or late check out. ALWAYS, this hotel… both front desk guys told me it was ABSOLUTELY impossible for them to do that. Cleanliness is OKAY, they can do better. Ohh wait… house keeping needs a lot of improvements. We came to our room and when it was time to use their plates and utensils, some of the plates where dirty… Also the hotels needs to seriously upgrade their deck "furniture". Each hotel has a little deck with 2 chairs, but the chairs are like from the mid 1920's maybe. Looks like walmart $10 chairs or something. When we went outside the lobby one of their employees was smoking weed while children were walking by with their parents smh… only positive thing I have was the way their maintenance team works. I called front desk for several times because the toilet kept breaking, I also requested more towels and a crib and all three times friendly staff members came to assist us, pretty quick too. So that I liked… with a few improvements I think this can be a great hotel. Wait also they have changing rooms for their pool area, and when I went to shower there was like mold and dirt all over the shower = (ew BUT for the price you pay I think it's an OKAY hotel. ONE MORE IMPORTANT thing I noticed. Our hotel room was in the building across the main hotel entrance… and to my surprise you could get in the building with out your hotel key, the door has a key reader but for some reason it was not activated, so ANYONE can get in the building with out being a guest there… It gave me an uneasy feeling my whole stay there…
