Great location with a fantastic staff! Breakfast was one of the best we have had in a while during our daily stays within this hotel chain. It is nice to have the boardwalk and beach just a few steps away. Parking is a little tight if you have a large vehicle so kee that in mind when choosing this location.

When we checked in the two guys at the front desk were super nice, but then when we returned we were trying to put a bag of garbage in to the tiny hole in the garbage can (with our hands full) and the empty garbage bag fell in. As we tried to fix it some of the sand from the cigarette tray on top spilled and the very rude front desk worker said just leave it now I have to clean it all up. Then he turns to another worker saying “who would do that! They just threw that in there and made a mess”. My husband is a platinum member and spend close to 30 nights a year in choice hotels. Very disappointed. The same guy also told us the night before when we checked In that the front counters would be full of food for breakfast and when we went down it was literally cereal, muffins and breakfast sandwiches. Rooms were decent, just didn’t appreciate being talked to in that way.

By far a delightful experience. Absolutely love this hotel. Clean, spacious and right on the boardwalk!

Absolutely beautiful. I have not one complaint. The gentleman at the desk was very nice and polite. Pool amenities are great. Atmosphere was amazing, and the closeness to the beach was amazing. I’m planning on coming back for an extended stay until I find a house in the area. If I could I’d give 10 stars. Also the cleanliness is amazing.

I recommend anyone to stay here great hotel staff and we love the room that we have here with a kitchenette in it and we have a very good view of the ocean.

My family arrived at the comfort inn on Tuesday 7-31. Our room is nice we have two double beds and a pull out couch. We did move the couch to the other side of the room to allow more air flow from the AC unit and also so the people sleeping in the pull out didnt freeze. The hotel is very close to the beach and board walk even the second parking lot is closer then some other hotels main lot. The hotel has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool with a small but good breakfast, yogurt, waffles, eggs, susage, and decent coffee. The towels also are nice and not thin, we did have to call to get someone clean out out shower drain but that was done quickly.

Friendly staff and very accommodating. We booked 1 night separate from 2 nights and was told we could stay in our room. When we returned from the beach after the first night our keys wouldn't work. The guy at the front desk had already figured out what happened and had our new room keys and vehicle pass waiting for us.

Great location. Great prices. Great staff. Free breakfast! Again, free breakfast! Real breakfast! That made the stay worth it for sure. So convenient. Indoor pool was a little cloudy but warm. Outdoor pool was great. Thanks for a great stay!

I stayed at this hotel Wednesday to Friday with my husband, toddler, and infant. The room was clean, staff was incredibly helpful, location was great, and the included breakfast was better than expected. We parked our car when we arrived and walked everywhere after. Coffee and drinks available in the lobby all day. Easy to get to the beach and the boardwalk. Could not be happier and will definitely stay here again!

Great visit, amazing food, just a few issues. We found a dead cockroach in the elevator and there was hair in the Indoor pool. Other than that the room was great and the workers were really nice. I will definitely stay there again.

Check in was quick. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Complementary breakfast is available from 7-10 and is surprisingly plentiful. View is nice as it is right on the boardwalk, but only if you get the ocean side rooms. Indoor and outdoor pool also.

I'd say more like 3 3/4. The room was clean, the bed firm but not uncomfortable, the sheets were industrial but crisp and clean. The towels were new and fluffy. The kitchenette area was stocked with essentials. They even thought to put a clothesline in the shower. The iron had a very long cord, so I ironed out on the balcony (which was a generous size) to enjoy the beautiful weather. The picture of the beach was my lefthand view from the balcony. Breakfast spread was the usual but what made me happy was the big dispenser of iced lemon water available 24/7 in the lobby. Perfect for a beach hotel. The negatives, the outside security door to my section of rooms doesn't close properly so the room key entry requirement is useless. The walls are RIDICULOUSLY thin, heard every movement of my roudy up all night neighbors. The indoor pool area was a good size, but there was more seating than pool. A family of 4 pretty much took up the whole space. Clarification: my room was in the small rectangular block separate from the building with the lobby.

Booked this hotel for a quick trip to the beach. The location is wonderful. There are 2 buildings. Only 1 is located directly on the boardwalk. We booked a king room. Our room was located with a beach view (side of the boardwalk building). The room was very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was clean and included a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, plates, dishes, pots and pans. Will definitely come back. The only reason for a 4 is the breakfast area is small, pool is small, and could hear some noise from the room above.

Great place to stay. Rooms were nice and amenities were as described. Assistant manager named Chris was fantastic! He was so helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this Comfort Inn.

This place is worth no stars. I stayed here from Friday to Sunday. Although the staff is nice, this place is dirty. As I was here there were ants in the bathroom and on the bed. All I can think is that this place is gross and I never wanna come back. I advise that you don’t come to this place.

Reliable hotel along the boardwalk. Nothing fancy here but offers basically clean rooms at a fair price with a good location.

Very nice, clean, comfortable. Outstanding breakfast — everything I could want for breakfast was provided. I enjoyed scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh waffles and coffee. The staff is very helpful. Good value.

Great place clean nice well kept and nice staff would most definetly come back again the only downfall is that their could be bigger fridges and the fact of at least have some descent size pans to cook with and also a can opener would be great but can't say it didn't have stuff just need more of and bigger and the main stuff you have to use in a kitchen like can opener and an oven would really make it worth wild and the price wouldn't seem so hi also had a great breakfast I will admit just they need to learn how to make the eggs so they aren't water logged.

Love this place. It made staying in Ocean city somthing else. Great location, great breakfast. Reasonable rooms. We only stay there whenever we visit. The rates are always reasonable especially in the offseason. The breakfast is hot and the varieties great like hot eggs and Waffles. The front desk staff are always very helpful and they correct issues when they do happen but overall great location I'm worth the money. The other good thing is it is right on the boardwalk so you literally park your car when you get to Ocean City and you don't have to do any driving until you departure.

I have stayed here with my family every year over the past 6 years. It is the best of several other places we stayed at before we discovered this. The staff is friendly and helpful and several remember us from previous stays. The pool is good, the breakfast is great, and it's nice to have coffee and juices available throughout the day. Rooms are clean. I would recommend it.

The location was good but not the overall hotel and room. There was always a smell in the halls and the room. It was a musty odor. The AC was unplugged in our room. We plugged it in and a bit later turned the heat on, it was chilly. It let off a burnt smell so we turned it off. It literally gave me a headache. Bed was not comfortable, mattress is too hard. The front staff was fairly helpful. Unfortunately, we will never stay here again.

Great location right on the boardwalk. Couldn't ask for a better place, the rooms are older and the 32" flat screen was NOT really fitting for the size of the room but who watches a bunch of TV when at the beach. Right in the middle of all the action definitely will stay again.

Very friendly and accommodating. Nice, clean rooms. The full breakfast was good too. The staff was even very helpful when we needed more sheets and pillows. They were quick to give us what we needed. Only thing I didn't like was no availability of roll away beds. Darin at the front desk was great!

Stayed for 5 days in July. The only thing good is the location — the hotel is otherwise small, old, and dirty. Our refrigerator did not work, and when I confronted the staff about it, I was first told "All the fridges here are old, there's nothing we can do about it". I said this was an unacceptable response, and they came up to take a look. They defrosted it (it's a minifridge, not a full fridge, and apparently defrosting it is not part of their maintenance schedule). Ultimately, they said had no extra fridges, and no extra rooms. They offered to take all my stuff in their fridge, expecting me to go to the lobby every time my 1 year old wanted milk, including the middle of the night. They gave me a thermometer to place in the fridge. It never read below 60F. I told them I still wasn't satisfied, and the manager immediately escalated to threatening to kick me and my family out of the hotel. I asked for his name, and he refused to give it to me. I followed him down the elevator insisting that he give me his name and card. He gave me a card for Chris Greenwood, but I am not even sure the name/card he gave me is really him. He cursed at me, threatened again saying "I'm about to kick you out of here" when I told him that his tone and language to me was unacceptable and unprofessional. I didn't want to ruin my vacation so we just threw away all the food we bought (we had went grocery shopping and just called it a loss) and made the best out of a bad a situation.

This small hotel is oceanfront right on the Boardwalk, is located on 5th st. Parking is free. They offer free breakfast Great location stayed there from Wednesday to Friday. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The place has been remodel, it was clean. Towels, mattress and pillows were in good shape. We stayed in room 208 with a king size bed, sofa bed and kitchenette and balcony. Unfortunately our room was not ocean view but it had some view of the ocean the main view was a wall of the building next door. It has and indoor and outdoor pool the outdoor pool is small but in great condition looking tours the beach. I would definitely stay there again I was surprised to find a hotel in such great condition in the area.

Good sized room with kitchenette, balcony and a safe. The hotel had been renovated in the last couple years. It is very clean and the staff is friendly. Comfort Inn Boardwalk has a great location. Hotel provides complimentary breakfast too. This is a well run hotel, highly recommended.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and as stress free as possible. We had forgotten a fan (we can't sleep without it) and as we were checking in we were discussing a place to buy one with each other and the receptionist overheard and offered to let us use on of the hotels. Also there are 5 of us so we asked for extra towels and they had them up in the room before we even made it up there. The whole inn was spotless and the rooms very nicely furnished. We had two full beds and a sleeper sofa, very comfortable. Each morning there is free breakfast in the lobby (they have waffle irons). The staff are not only very friendly, they are also very effective at working in sync with each other to make your vacation as effortless as they can. We would 100% recommend this Comfort Inn to both friends and family. Enjoy!

Great location. Nice clean rooms & great view. This was our 2nd stay here and we will be staying again next year.

I have been a guest here since Saturday and don't have any complaints. Rooms are very spacious and cozy. Utensils are provided which help a lot as well as a fridge, toaster, and microwave. The cleaning staff is super nice and always willing to give you more toiletries if needed. The hotel is right on the ocean which is great to get up and go right out.

The hotel is in great location to the pier and activities. The staff was fantastic! Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean and neat. A wonderful 4th of July weekend was had by the family.

It was OKAY… would I stay there again? Most likely not. Several hotels I have stayed in have always granted us early check in or late check out. ALWAYS, this hotel… both front desk guys told me it was ABSOLUTELY impossible for them to do that. Cleanliness is OKAY, they can do better. Ohh wait… house keeping needs a lot of improvements. We came to our room and when it was time to use their plates and utensils, some of the plates where dirty… Also the hotels needs to seriously upgrade their deck "furniture". Each hotel has a little deck with 2 chairs, but the chairs are like from the mid 1920's maybe. Looks like walmart $10 chairs or something. When we went outside the lobby one of their employees was smoking weed while children were walking by with their parents smh… only positive thing I have was the way their maintenance team works. I called front desk for several times because the toilet kept breaking, I also requested more towels and a crib and all three times friendly staff members came to assist us, pretty quick too. So that I liked… with a few improvements I think this can be a great hotel. Wait also they have changing rooms for their pool area, and when I went to shower there was like mold and dirt all over the shower = (ew BUT for the price you pay I think it's an OKAY hotel. ONE MORE IMPORTANT thing I noticed.

I'm so disappointed in choosing this hotel. The males (blonde & dark hair) at the front desk were rude. God forbid you ask a simple question! Short one word anthd lobby. Swers. No knowledge of what restaurants and activities are in the area for guests. If don't like your job, there are others with great customer service skills that would love to have it! My room was dirty. The sofa bed looked as if it was pulled off the streets. And only God knows what kind of organic matter was on the toilet. There were no clean towels in the pool area. Drunks hanging out in the lobby. Never again!

Staff is a joke. They let drunk underage teens throw crap off the balcony and get away with it, shouting at people walking by because they have nothing better to do. Learn how to control your guests.

Had a blast last weekend with my wife and daughter. We came down for the cheer competition, like we do every year. The motel serves breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, ceral, oatmeal, waffles and much more) every morning and I recommend not missing out on that. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Shower was hot and the bathrooms were clean. The heated pool is a plus especially in the colder months. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Not a bad hotel for the price. Right on the boardwalk. Don't expect something like a 4 star hotel. It is more of a low 3 stars but great for the price.

From the moment we walked in our room, I wished we had stayed somewhere else. Poor housekeeping was the first thing my 9 year old boy, and 12 year old daughter noticed, mostly because of organic matter left on the toilet, and also hair and dirt in the bed sheets. I spoke with housekeeping directly about the issues, and they were quick to address the concerns, but argumentative about the bed sheets, and our toilet was never cleaned properly throughout our 3 night stay Carpets turned my son's feet black within an hour, but I kind of expected that because it's at the beach. A few bugs and sand piles in the elevator and hallway didn't bother me at first either, but after walking by the same ones for more then 2 days, and many other unmentioned issues, we decided to leave a day early. The desk staff at checkout was unfriendly and made no inquiries about our stay, or why we were leaving early. I brought our complaints to the manager after we returned home and got some much needed rest. He was compassionate towards our complaints, but not willing to refund the night we left early because it was after checkout time. This Hotel's rates were considerably higher then others surrounding it. Although it has relatively good reviews, a known name, and a decent breakfast included, the value is not enough to compete with others in the area.

I was disappointed that no one ever came in to clean our room while we went out for the day. We also used the pull out couch as a bed and while there was no bedding on it or in the room for it, when I called the front desk they came up to the room with all the bedding for me to make the bed. Reasonable rates and room had a beautiful view! The continental breakfast was good and the staff were nice enough. I would stay there again but I'd make sure to ask them to make sure our room for cleaned! Overall it was a nice stay.

We stayed 3 nights. Our toliet clogged three separate times. The final time at 11p. M at night. The front desk insisted our 18 month old children flushed things down the toliet. I know this to be false considering the bathroom door was shut the entire stay and the only time we were in there with them was to bathe them. Blaming a guest for a problem that is clearly not ours is infuriating. On a postive note our made Marie/Maria was great. I'd love to have her clean our room time and time again. Very sweet woman. The people working the front desk during the day were great. The night time front desk people were extremely rude and disrespectful. I will return to the hotel but hopefully they have better night shift help next time.

We have stayed here a few times. It is reasonably priced, their indoor pool is great, their breakfast is fresh and has a great assortment. Some of the rooms have kitchenettes so it is perfect for families that are willing to cook some of their meals in their room in order to stretch their budget.

My husband and I started coming to OC when we were dating over 20 years ago and we always stayed here; but this is our last stay at this Comfort Inn. When you pay $200+ a night you expect more than just a view! The Balcony view is wonderful but that is the end of wonderful at this place! It is so dirty; the baseboards in the bathroom have an inch of dirt, sand and hair on them. The daily "cleaning" is a joke, the bed is barely made, the sink wiped down but no vacuuming and the sliding glass door isn't even cleaned (it was dirty when we arrived). Don't bother complaining to the Manager on duty, the whole team here doesn't care. You are in a expensive one star motel; I would say a Motel 6 but honestly I think the treatment at a Motel 6 is better. Don't waste your money unless all you care about is location and view.

In favor of this hotel: price, location, amenities (pool, breakfast, free parking), pleasant staff, pretty decor, generous supply of clean towels Against this hotel: Disappointed in the lack of cleanliness: the toilet had black mold in it and the coffee packet in the room was opened. There were hairs on the sheets. Uncomfortable bed. Not enough gluten free continental breakfast choices (an orange or an apple). It took 15 minutes for the water to get hot in the shower. Would stay here again.
