Review of Sea Bay Hotel 2*

I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past few years. The rooms are large and the price isnt terrible. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room itself. Me personally before I even bring my stuff in rip all bedsheets off and check for bed bugs. NO bed bugs obviously but the extra blankets and pillows smelled like they havent been washed for a few visits. Cleanliness of the bed itself was "okay" but it seemed like the rushed through cleaning our room and it smelled like pee when we first came in. The front desk was very nice but they dont have good cameras therefore I was unable to find out who hit & totaled my car then left the scene overnight. They did try to help but why no cameras facing the street that leads to the hotel? The cafe is very well priced and the food was pretty good. I would stay again but hoping the maid staff do a little better job cleaning before check in. Our maid was very nice and always made sure we had clean towels and stuff. I dont let maid service enter when im not there so I cant complain about them not cleaning during my stay. I would recommend as the last time I stayed there I loved my stay! The only other complaint I have about my last stay (2 summers ago) was hotel staff stalking us when they thought we were "smoking weed" on the balcony. I could hear them talking below our balcony and standing there for over an hour staring at us. I had my 4 year old son with us so I have no idea why they thought it was us with 20-30 rooms facing that direction. Otherwise. A very nice hotel.
