Room was nice but smelled like smoke in a bone smoking room. Had some shady stuff going on. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were in decent shape. Air quality in the room was poor. Although there was air condition, there was a great deal of humidity causing things to feel damp. One of the survey questions states “how was the value for the price you paid” I think a good hotel/motel/ any guest service should be aiming for the best value regardless of the price paid.

I was not impress with this hotel. Yes it was inexpensive and "some" staff were courteous but if I knew it was going to be this way, I would have spent my money elsewhere. The sheets on the bed were not clean and there was hair on it. The bathroom light in the bathroom wasn't working (how did the room service person clean the bathroom without a light). I know I will not choose this motel again.

The price was good but room was not. Dirty bed sheet, peep hole view was missing the the glass part so anyone could peep in to my room from the other side. I had to plug the hole with bathroom tissue. I also saw a roach in there. I reported this to the front end staff and was told I would get a discount at check in and never did.

Not top star. My experience is here. The hotel first room that I was given the room was dirty Smokey and not what I placed the order on online but as fast as I mentioned it to the clerk they upgraded us to a better room in the state became more efficient. Could use motor articles I had two small kids with me and that wasn't enough to share good hotel close by the highway of 695.

This motel is for transit. The room had furniture that is falling apart. The bedding has burn holes in them. The curtains are dirty. The clean up crew does not read or understand english. They gave 1 washcloth for two people. Second day took pillow cases off and didn't replace (had to call office) Had to request clean towels. I notice that all of your motels have the same problem. We had family visit from Md. To Marietta, Ga. And they had a terrible room. If you want to be a nice place to stay you need to to clean up your chain. I will never stay or recommend you to anyone!

Room felt clean. Arrived around 10pm and door was locked, so had to use a side check-in outside of lobby area, which wasn't the most welcoming. Also, there was no coffee, a little thing but they advertise it and guests appreciate it… for the price, not bad.

Our experience started off good with the front desk help. They were very helpful and quick to get us checked in. We got to our room and that was when it was a terrible experience. We requested a non smoking room and our room stunk like smoke and had a plastic bag over the fire detector. Then the bathroom, the floors, and every surface looked like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. We went out to buy cleaning products and air freshners to try to get rid of the smell, but it didn't help at all. While wiping down the floor we cleaned up blood from the floor to only find out later on that someone overdosed in our room the week before. I saw the video the neighbor had taken from the incident and it was pretty graphic! The front desk denied it saying it never happened though! It's a shame that the room still had blood on the floor and it clearly shows the cleaning people don't show pride in their job and cleaning the room well. The area was terrible and didn't feel safe where we stayed at either. Our siblings stayed at the same place and they had a pet friendly room that was cleaner than our room was! We were offered to move rooms, but the room we were shown smelt just like our current smoke smelling room. I honestly wish we could rate this place negative instead of the one star it is making me choose! Lastly, when we got home all of our clean clothes we didn't wear and everything we brought into our house smelt like stale smoke.

Room was clean, but smelled of smoke. (I asked for a non-smoking room) Lots of noise from other guests on Friday and Saturday nights/early morning. Front desk staff when I checked in was not friendly. Checked me in, did not ask me to sign anything, didn't ask about or offer Wi-Fi. Front desk at checkout was very nice and explained my bill to me. Good value and location for work at Pimlico during Preakness Stakes.

Not bad for the price. I mean it IS a cheap motel but at leasts the room are spacious and clean! The lobby and my room had a nice soapy smell which hints towards cleanliness.

Two doors down banging out drum beats on the wall and floor all night long. It shook the whole room. Called the front desk, they offered to switch us… Would just as soon leave if we had to pack everything up. By 3am couldn't take it anymore so we put our kids in the car and drove the 3.5 hours home… The place even has two "police parking" in every row because of the type of people that seem to frequent this place. … Never again.

The bathroom was dirty, the covers for the bed was burnt. Thank goodness I brought my own toothpaste and other personal for my hygiene. All there was is soap. I had to buy an extra blanket. Our stay was not pleasant.

I read a lot of bad reviews about this property and some issues were relevant. My room didn't have a microwave or mini fridge. The pillows were thin. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable. However, the room was very clean, the price was good, and the staff was friendly.

I had to wait for more than 20 minutes to do the check in. The atmosphere wasn’t good. The room was dirty, specially the bathroom. I couldn’t take a shower because of that. However, if I had decided to take a shower I couldn’t have washed my hair, because I didn’t have shampoo. The only positive thing I can say is that the room is big and the bed is comfortable.

My experience was cool… the room was clean and it's linen, housekeeping was great. Price and area is fair, if they had microwaves and fridges in the rm that would be even better, but I really enjoyed my week stay there, peace and quiet.

Very good quality/price ratio. The room was clean and the reception was friendly. If I was returning to Baltimore and didn't need to be downtown I would definitely consider staying there again. Several restaurants in close proximity.

I'm from new York we were looking for a place to spend the night with my wife as my baby of 3 months began to feel bad and we don't qauisimos return to New York that same if we decide to operarnos is between motel but we took the terrible surprise that all the rooms had cigarette smell and we had to change several times of the room until you find one that didn't have that smell because it's bad for our baby we finally found one that didn't have a lot of cigarette smell but always felt my husband was very ill so same I would recommend that had rooms where they allow smoking, and others where the phohiban light a cigarette, because not all clients are smokers, and some resent that smell.

If you're looking for just overnight accommodations this place will fill your need if you need more than that I don't know what to tell you this is definitely a two star hotel — motel. It reminds me of a crappy dive you take a hooker to. Be forewarned.

I loved this little motel. I stayed at the Baltimore West Motel 6. It was clean, quiet, really hot shower, and very friendly people at the front desk. Lana was there when I checked in and checked out. What a nice young woman. Thank you for keeping the rates affordable for working people like me. I will come again.

This is the strangest hotel I ever stayed in. There was no refrigerator or microwave so eating was a hassle because I couldn't have leftovers. There wasn't enough towels. There wasn't enough pillows. The bed was low and small. The room service knock on your door several times a day. Once to pick up dirty towels, once to bring clean ones and once again to bring clean wash towel. You pay for Wi-Fi. And the lobby closes at night. The room I was in was clean and I didn't have a problem with staff though.

Checked in about a half an hour earlier than check in time n the room was ready n in good shape. Floor could have been cleaned a little better especially since they allow pets to stay for free with guest but other than that there was no problem at all with the room or the staff. As a matter of fact Imran was our sales associate n took great care of helping us with places to go to n also extra menus to order food out n places to visit while here in Baltimore. Also told us that if we needed anything to not hesitate to call him at the front desk n let him know. Made us feel very welcomed n thats very much appreciated from our family. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The room had a nasty odor and was not cleaned properly. Under the bed was all types of trash and it was a WOOD floor. The front destination people are always nice and accommodating. They are always pleasant.

Stayed here a few times and had a wonderful stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Front desk agent, Imran went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we were happy. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Pros: no pet fee. Convenience to 695 and locations west of the city. Lots of cable channels. Ample space for pets. Laminate floors and fixtures were nice. Cons: Non smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke and they gave me a hard time about switching rooms, offering only to spray anti odor spray. Not enough towels (one washcloth, one hand towel). Cigarette burn in sheets (again, supposed to be a non smoking room). Shady area — wouldn’t want to have my famiy here. When you check in late there is a night window — they don’t even let you in the lobby so that tells you all you need to know about the area. Only one bar of soap for sink and toilet. It just seemed like they were trying to give you the least amount possible everywhere.

My experience of this Baltimore location was I got what I paid for. I went on a booking site and was able to secure a great deal, but the accommodation meet that deal. So I would not recommend booking through a site. Motel 6 was no different then being homeless at this location no microwave or frig so I kept everything in the car to keep cold I spent more than my budget allowed because I had to eat out during my stay there which was unexpected because I got snowed in while visiting Baltimore. Next time I will look for a hotel that offers more no matter the discount.

The room was non-smoking, however the entire room, including pillows, smelled like cigarette smoke. I have asthma and required breathing treatments the next morning. When I went outside to grab something from my car, I was offered drugs from a man standing in his doorway two doors down. I was alone and unarmed with my 9 yr old child, therefore I went straight back in our room until the next morning. I travel a lot for my daughters swim meets, however I will never stay at a motel 6 again. When my husband and I were young military, we often stayed at the motel 6 when we traveled. I was deeply disappointed in our stay. I contacted the motel and left a message for the manager, however he failed to return my call.

It was great for a last minute late evening, early morning work week. No hot water. No toilet paper rolls changed between guests. Not enough towels. Enough TV channels, quiet, bedding was comfortable.

Typical low cost motel. Convenient location right off of 695. 'Nonsmoking' room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Toilet area was dirty. Basic accommodations.

Great service for front desk lady Sandra or Casandra. (Can't remember her name) I cane into town early in the morning. I booked the room foe two nights because I knew I would be there early. My reservations were cancelled because I didn't get there until 6:45 in the morning. This lady took great care with helping me. She went out of her way to get me into a room. I will always be a loyal customer because of her.

I finally got sum sleep. Yes. I stayed at knights inn that's near the hotel and everything about the place was bad. I had too inspect three different rooms just to try to get settled down . So thxs motel 6 west.

This place is not safe. I drove in booked a room. Went to the room and checked back out. Be careful.

Horrible experience! I never stayed at your motel but my credit card was charged a fee. (My Credit Card was reported lost/stolen) When I reported the dispute to your team member he instructed me to call the Hotel Manager on Friday 6th. (Why the long wait since it was a Wednesday 4th that he and I are speaking). These are fraudulent charges to my account and why do I have to get the runaround when trying to retrieve my money. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and have already reported the dispute with my bank and the Authorities.

The Cleaning staff was very lazy. Only 1 day was I given a change of towels and linens. I had to make my own bed for 2 out of four nights. The bathroom tub had visible signs of mold on the tub and on the ceiling. The toilet leaked. The maids didn't sweep often and there were spots of old foods smashed into the wooden flooring. It would have been a lot nicer with more attentive staff. Also the addition of a tea kettle, coffee pot, mini fridge or microwave would have been a wonderful touch. There was no iron available including one would have made my stay more hospitable. My key card often malfunctioned and it was quite a walk (several walks) down hill to the front desk to remedy the situation. I had asked for a room that would be quiet because I wanted to get some much needed sleep. Yet I was exposed to a rude, loud mouth couple arguing from 1 a. M to 3 a. M in the morning! I know this seems like a litany of complaints but these could be useful in improving service.

No free Wi-Fi. No refrigerator. Blocked sink. Bathroom aged. Good location opposite a great shopping centre, easy access for cars and buses. Good Taco Bell around the corner. Lovely staff.

There was human Pooh smeared on the bathroom wall. There was black hairs all through both beds. The shower flooded out the bathroom and ruined some of my clothes. The bar to hold onto next to the toilet had brown thick gunk all over it, no clue what it could have been. I ordered two queens. These beds were barely doubles. The odor of cleaning supplies used in the room were enough to clog your lungs. The other walls had stuff smeared on them and it was obvious that it could have been wiped off but it just wasn't. It was probably the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in.

Came down for vacation. Hotel attendant charged me twice for room. 3-5 days for return of course but irritated my vacation. Room booked was two queens but beds were full size. Neighborhood is poor. 30 mins to everywhere but not a safe feeling. Will never return.

I booked 5 rooms for a bachelor party based on ratings on Booking. Coms mix of rating and price. While the price was certainly affordable, the rating was overly generous, to say the least. Most room check ins are around 12 — 1pm, this motel 6 quoted me at being ready at 3pm. After we had arrived around 1pm. So my party decided to go grab a bite to eat while we waited. Upon returning around 3:30pm, only 3 of the 5 rooms were ready for use. And by ready I mean the beds were made. There was dirt and confetti on the floor in several rooms, and dust on several surfaces. My final two rooms weren't ready until almost 5pm, a full four hours after our arrival in Baltimore. Again, the rooms were not cleaned to any noticeable standard beyond a made bed. Compound this with a constant police presence for one issue or another, and you can rest assured that I will not recommend or return to this location ever again.

Room was nice and very reasonably priced. The only problem was they would only give me 2 extra towels when I needed 3 for my kids to take a shower, but we managed.

Dirty floors in room, toilet seat was dirty. Pretty sure sheets were not washed as there was hair on pillows and sheets. Comforters stained and gross. Quiet though, lots of TV channels. You get what you pay for.

I should have gotten the clue when they were pulling the body out of the room above me, but the online reservations were already made. Room price was kind of high considering I have seen better states of cleanliness and decor coming from a motel with a kicked in door lock in El Paso or a slap and tickle palace in nowhere Wyoming. Room smelled like a blunt, cigarette holes in the bedding, stains everywhere. Just generally gross. We had a fire drill at 2am and someone kept knocking at our door at 4am. Generally felt just unsafe all night. You have been warned.

A decent clean hotel room with no problems and cable tv. Worth 50$ it got the job done. Guy at the desk with an African accent was nice to deal with.

Nice room but some bathrooms in there rooms are fucked up but that's about it.

Very dated building/rooms. It's very obvious the decor is the result of a low cost renovation. Also, the Wi-Fi is not very strong here.

Front desk always excellent customet service! Room was clean. Quite. Parking lot very well lit. Great rate. Parking lot could be re-paved though.

Wi-Fi isn't free like in other motel 6, no hair dryers or refrigerators in the rooms. Houskeeping is slow which slows down check in process.

5/5 Stars. No towels and I had to ask for pillow cases, but they allow pets and a bottle opener fixed to the vanity was one feature among the amenities. These people understand me.

The remodel is nice, small Queen bed but worth the price.

The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable about amenities in the area! They kept me informed about what was going on since I arrived early for check in. It was safe, clean and very good. I will recommend this business to stay.

Checked in for 2 days, no problems, paid, got a reciept for $115. Around 3am some guy unlocks the door and tries to enter our room. My friends runs to the door yelling. The guy keeps pushing the door, while sticking his face in yelling "this is my room! ". Thank goodness for the security bar. She's pushes the door close. I spend 1 hour, the next morning at the front desk. They had NO RECORD of my arrival and gave our room key to another guest. WHAT! Guy at desk keeps saying "I'll make you happy with your stay". Um, what does that mean? That evening, we arrive back from shopping, etc. Unpack the car, slide the key in the door and IT DOESN'T WORK! It's freezing outside, we pack everything back in the car, drive to the front office, stand in line another hour, get the key fixed and go to bed. We checkout the next morning. I get another receipt. This time for $57.50. They knocked off half from the bill. I still called corporate and complained. They gave me a Free night voucher. After a few days, I check my account and there's a MOTEL 6 charge of $115. HUH? I called Corporate again. They call the Manager of the location. He gives them a different story. Says "we gave her a free night voucher first and then she requested a refund. " Oh really? Corporate refunded $57.50 after 1 week of me calling. Nicer rooms, cheapest for the area BUT not worth the PROBLEM.
