Was disappointed when checking in when my king size bed and sleeper sofa was not available which is what I booked last week but front desk gave me 2 rooms with 2 queen size beds for the same price so it all worked out.

The best, most accommodating staff!

Caught two large bedbugs crawling on my daughter’s pillow. Manager stepped in and refunded our stay and our valet parking, which was appropriate.

AC didn’t work in the room and staff very unhelpful.

I booked a wonderful suite at a great price. I was impressed with how quiet the room was. I didn't hear anything all night. Very clean. Friendly staff. My only complaint was my wake up call did not happen. Parking is ridiculously high $40 like many downtown hotels but fast valet service. Decent hot breakfast included. Easy walk to Camden Yards, medical center, etc.

Great atmosphere for sports lovers and beer/wine drinkers!

The Hampton Inn Downtown is a great hotel for individual travelers & families. It's a great location next to Oriole Park, steps from The Charm'tastic Mile & minutes away from the Inner Harbor.

Very nice staff. Very clean n tastefully decorated room. Nice hot tub, pool (a little small but nice n clean) n fitness center. Very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again :).

I gave this hotel 5 stars for the simple fact that it’s a 3 star hotel and many guest expect to be serviced like they paid for a 5 star. Now for the review: I only stay at Hampton Inns when I travel and I never have an issue — As far as this hotel, it’s great! It’s clean, fresh, staff at front desk is courteous and very helpful, breakfast is delicious and clean and staff makes sure guest don’t run out of food. Free coffe all night and a snack section as well. It’s convenient to the Harbor which is a plus. Housekeeping comes daily to clean your room. So many people give a bad review for a place because staff wasn’t at your beck and call when they have over 100 guest or more and you get mad and want to bring an establishment down. People are looking for reviews that are truthful not bad ones cause housekeeping didn’t come to your room at the time you requested… It’s August 19, 2018 and my husband and I came here for our Anniversary and we’d come back again. Overall, this is a very nice hotel.

Not bad, not great either. Hotel was clean and staff friendly for the most part. Breakfast foods nothing to write home about, but it was "free" as part of your stay so expectations for free breakfast are never very high. Food they did offer was okay, but tables were often left dirty so that's a turn off when you get your food and the only table available is dirty. That was the case 2 out of 3 days. And although you could dine outside, it was just way too hot and humid to enjoy so had to sit inside at tables. Anyway, that said, it was a great location if you want to be directly across from Camden Yards, and only a few blocks from the Inner Harbor so that is a plus. Would of been an awesome place to stay if it weren't for the aforementioned issue with breakfast area, and a problem in our room with the air conditioner that made the carpet around it and near the edge of the bed very wet. We tried to keep the room at 71/72 in a concerted effort to hopefully keep the a/c from working so hard and maybe not create so much excess water off of it, but that didn't seem to help. Despite that issue, it worked well and room was nice and cool. Overall, was a decent place to stay and if you don't mind paying a premium just to park your car with the valet service ($38 a day), we made the best of it and had a good time. Hope this helps someone.

Rarely do I take the time to write reviews, but I am compelled to make all aware of my experience here! The staff collectively and consistently went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable and comfortable as one could ever imagine! From Demtrious and Don out front who will not only ensure prompt and friendly valeting of your vehicle, but will also recommend restraints and every in and out of the city; met as I entered with the most welcoming and friendliest of smiles from Aisha (forgive my spelling). She was amidst the usual anarchy of check ins and check outs though went out of her way to ensure prompt greeting and that smile never left her face every time I stopped at the desk. Had the pleasure of also be greeted by and talking with a manager, Gabby, and, as often is the case when one encounters a cohesive staff, Gabby managed impressively efficiently AND remained unusually attentive and personable to all around her! It was my pleasure and a blessing to have had the opportunity to stay here and interact with the exemplary staff! Keep on keeping on Hampton and GOD BLESS!

Waffled between 2 & 3 stars. Two of 4 pillows on my bed had what looked like either blood or red nail polish. When I went to call front desk, neither in-room phones worked so I had to call front desk from my cell. Steve was nice and sent pillows right up. Then we turn the TV on to watch just before sleep and there was no reception. Beds were too firm for me but that's just a preference. All in all I think as a Hilton property, they can do better for the price.

Nice location, staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was good size and clean, the bathroom was nice. Valet parking was $40 but they were very friendly and quick. Breakfast was pretty standard for a Hampton Inn, nothing to write home about but it did the trick. All in all, a very nice stay.

Everything about this hotel was FABULOUS, with one significant exception — the bed was the definition of "firm. " Even my four year old remarked how hard the bed was and said his pillows felt like they were filled with sand. But the hotel was clean, up to date, well-kept, provided an excellent continental breakfast, and was within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful; and for having a high occupancy, it was totally quiet at night.

Brought our two granddaughters to the inner harbor. The hotel was great for them… Friendly, food, hot coco, snack bar and pool. Also we were looking for a taxi and the hotel's shuttle gave us a ride. Please check to see the hot tub is up and running for your visit, it wasn't when we were there.

Avoid this place at all costs. I don't know where to begin. The hotel is situated next to a stadium. When we arrived, they had extremely loud obnoxious music coming from downstairs, because it was some opening day for their team. The noise from the street could be heard very loud in the room. This might be your thing if you're into loud noises in your room, but if you're like me, then next time choose some place that is not directly next to a stadium. Next thing is the valet. There is no self parking at this hotel, so your only choice is to use the valet or use some other parking garage. The valet costs $38. I specifically asked the valet if that was a daily charge or for the duration of the stay. He told me it was for the duration of my stay (which was 3 days). However, upon checking out, I was charged $38 per day. I called the hotel and they said the daily charge is posted "everywhere", and there's nothing they could do. Well, apparently it is not posted "everywhere" enough, because I didn't see it, and even the valet didn't know about it. Either that, or he flat out lied in my face. I could have easily gotten a better parking deal somewhere else around the area, had I known it was a daily charge. For the price of this hotel, I would have expected a better room, and better customer service. The temperature in the room was either too hot or too cold (adjusting the thermostat had no direct correlation to what was happening in the ac unit).

Hotel Staff is nice, and hotel was not bad. Only giving two stars because when I got out of the shower, I had mickey or minnie mouse running up the drapes in my room. Staff immediately moved me to another room, but when I was making sure I didn't forget anything I found a mouse trap which means they knew there was a mouse in that room. The room they moved me to was okay, the sink need to be cleaned out and there was a red stain on the floor. Staff for the free breakfast was very attentive and they did check me in early. I guess I should have waited, maybe I would have gotten the mouse free room, LOL.

Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms. The view from our room was beautiful as well. The breakfast buffet was really nice. Great variety of food choices… customer service was great as well.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I was told when I booked the room that I could request a rollaway bed for one of the people staying in our room since two of them did not want to share the sofabed. When I arrived, the room was too small for the rollaway to fit so the two that did not want to share a bed were forced to do so. I would have booked at a different hotel if I knew this was going to happen. We also got lucky enough to find street parking because valet parking was $38! Yikes! I could never!

Spacious room (compared to most in the UK anyway but pretty standard in the US). I enjoyed the inclusive coffee all day, occasional food like popcorn and biscuit. Breakfast didn't have very good choices but will fill you up, pretty standard for this Hilton brand. Experience with staff may vary per person. Saying that, some aren't as good with service as others. Has a gym and pool but I've not used them cos they're not worth using as too small.

Very nice hotel with a nice lobby. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. I found that most of the staff members were nice because it was their job. But one team member was not only pleasant, but very committed to making sure our stay was great. Always smiling, asking if everything was as we expected and even a good conversationalist. Iesha made us feel like we were staying with family. We still had to pay thought.

They cancelled my reservation without notice and the General Managers excuse was that their policy allows them to cancel with no notice. After speaking to him he was not apologetic at all and only recommended a hotel further out of the inner harbor. The staff was rude on the phone and did not care about inconvenience for me and my family. If I did not call ahead of time and check I would not have known my reservation was cancelled.

Location is convenient to Camden Yards. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished. No on-site parking No room service. Free breakfast is good and includes eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, bagels, yogurt, OJ, Apple Juice, etc.

Excellent hotel. I believe they just upgraded their king beds. Rooms were very nice and in a good location. Within walking distance to a lot of attractions in Baltimore. Near several restaurants and stadiums. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Close to Camden and M&T. The room was really big. The bathroom was really small. The breakfast is standard complimentary food. There's was nothing memorable about the stay but would stay again if attending a football or baseball game because of the convenient location.

Great price and location but beware the hidden parking fee. It's valet only parking and it's going up to $31 per night in 2018. It's in down town so avoiding this cost is difficult or impossible.

I didn't stay here long or use any of the amenities but this is the best Baltimore Marathon hotel. Right at the start line! My room was large and clean. They do hold quite a bit of extra money for incidentals. Other than that, no complaints.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Decor was up to date. So why skimp on the toilet paper? It was like using construction paper. Seriously Hamptons, spend the extra money on good TP.

Location is right beside Camden Yards and a close walk to M&T Stadium which makes it a great gameday option. Room was spacious, well equipped, and clean. Would definitely come back!

The hotel rooms were very clean, and had the standard amenities. The bathroom didn't have a fan in the room which was weird. Breakfast was okay, the basic, but still great that it's provided. It's only not five stars because of the little things. Great location for staying downtown!

Super nice staff and clean room. The pool is salt water and very refreshing. Also, has a nice set up for the morning breakfast buffet. Just enough options. Will stay again.

Our second time here and each time the service and facility is wonderful! Delicious breakfast and great location. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly! This is our favorite spot to stay with our family!

The hotel was clean and very nice. However, we had quite a bit of difficulty with checking in. We had already been charged the $40 incidental fee, yet the lady at the front desk tried to charge us for it again, causing our card to be declined because we put exactly the amount of the room on it. Then we got to trek through creepy Baltimore streets to find a location to add more money to our card. Walk all the way back, where she informed us of her mistake. She was sorry and stuff happens but I feel like no one really cared and someone should have offered something, ANYTHING, to make us feel like we mattered.

Amazing staff! Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. Very friendly, clean, and safe hotel. Great location! Will definitely be staying here again. Stayed for a week for vacation with my family and plan on coming back!

This hotel was great! The front staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept. It was in walking distance of everything. My only complaint was I thought the valet parking was a bit high in cost, but it was understandable and was told to us when we booked our room. It was a really nice place to stay. I'd definitely stay there again.

Loved Hampton inn, in Baltimore. The pool was nice and the hot tub is awesome. The room was clean, the only issue was our view was an alley full of trash.

Not the first name I think of for nice hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised on my convention trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The gym was a bit lacking, but otherwise I was very impressed.

The building was conveniently located so we were able to easily and quickly walk to the Inner Harbor and local restaurants. The room was surprisingly quiet, considering it was located near a busy intersection. The room was small but clean. The breakfast selection was adequate and the coffee was delish. That said, the bed was likely the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. Horribly bouncy innerspring mattress that barely felt like a queen. Very disappointing considering I stay in Hampton Inns regularly and the beds are usually super comfy. Overall, not a bad stay but a good night's sleep would have have made it better.

Spacious king size room with adequate facilities. Choice at breakfast is limited but the quality was usually good. Complementary coffee in the lobby was much appreciated. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location was conveniently across the street from the Orioles stadium. The room was clean and had no signs of pests. The service was great. All of the employees were pleasant and polite.

They were wonderful all throughout the weekend. The rooms were clean and spacious. The service was fantastic.

Location is great, lots to do in the area and right across the street from Camden Yards. Rooms are nice, very spacious with living area and small kitchen area. Pool is very small, and kind of murky lurking, but that could just be the lighting. I like breakfast in the morning. But there is no room service option so of you want dinner in your room you'd likely need takeout from somewhere.

The room was great and the location is perfect. However, due to the location, there is absolutely no parking in the surrounding area so expect to pay for valet parking with the hotel if you cannot take public transit or a cab to get here (very close to train line).

The valet service was a convenient necessity based on the proximity to Camden Yards. Staff are friendly and accommodating in every area of the hotel. The free continental breakfast and especially the 24/7 coffee and tea was excellent. There was an issue with cold water pressure in our room that I informed the front desk of but this was the only issue. A great stay.

The rooms were nice enough located closed to the minornleague baseball stadium. The harbor is within 15-20 mins walk. Good ppace to stay and not really pricey.
