The staff in general are AMAZING but the gentleman on the afternoon shift absolutely went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Having a microwave is a necessity in our lives, as both son's are autistic and only eat specific foods. The rooms were immaculate, very spacious, and up to date on style, plus a very prime location if you want to just park and explore Baltimore by foot. Also walking distance to the aquarium and outdoor waterfront dining. Overall a wonderful experience and can't wait till we can visit again in June! :)

We enjoy every time we stay at a Hyatt Place Hotel. This is our third time. The beds are so comfortable. I have bursitis in both hips so I have to have a comfortable bed. No turning and tossing.

Where do I start? Tons of construction being done outside of hotel. We pull up to valet and a gentleman by the name of Labon assists us. Super kind, super wonderful. He is a total asset to this hotel. He is the only thing this hotel has. Pet friendly hotel… theres no where to bring your pet. You literally have to walk a block over behind the hotel to find a grass area that Im not even sure if your allowed to bring your pet there. The room itself was not cleaned well, crumbs onthe tables and in the corners of the rooms. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. Pool? umm absolutely the most disgusting pool I have ever been in. It was not clean, it was cloudy, there were layers of small black hairs throighoit the entire pool. Not sure if someone cut there hair in the pool or if a thousand dogs were swimming in it. Called front desk, and they said they would take care of it. Following morning it looked the same. The pool area was so slippery my 2 year old son slipped and fell… check ur cameras, you will see. My husband and I almost fell. Complete hazard. Reviewing past reviews from 2 years ago, clearly it has always been a problem and no one cares to change the problem. Someone should sue! Breakfast… almost broke my tooth on how hard the waffles were. Went up to try and get another… 4 waffle hockey pucks later. Was sadly disappointed. The front desk could literally care less.

The service was great… I slept like a baby… and ate well.

If you're looking for a great staycation, book a room here. Hot, healthy breakfast, mini pool, king room with a sleeper sectional and within walking distance of Harbor East and Little Italy. Quiet oasis and truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again. Rooms starting at $93/night. Found this gem on Groupon. Great birthday gift to myself.

Hotel was clean, front desk staff helpful, the breakfast well that left a lot to be desired to say the least, Food station look like a bomb hit food on floor, most things were out, I asked for a knife and was handed a plastic one and was told here this for now, got what food I could and went to get coffee and all pots were empty, then when they brought one sludge came out of coffee port grounds etc another customer be hind me was like "what the hell", I then went up to the front desk staff and pointed to the other canisters of coffee and said please bring a full one over and she did, which was empty. They said give them 10 min they will brew a fresh one, after that I gave up left my food at the table and left. By the way this was at 8:30 am in the morning on a Sunday Sept. 2. Im currently in my room drinking the coffee from the room machine. I must say I am disappointed since this is my third stay at a Hyatt in the past 30 days. San Antonio spa/resort, Hyatt Place mosaic in DC no problems, here it seems they are understaffed to take care of the breakfast crowd. Very disappointed this time. Also a Hyatt club member.

Didn't get an opportunity to stay here and if I could I'd give it no stars I would but then I wouldn't be able to comment. Made a reservation June 10th cancelled June 25th because of a commitment that came up to travel the weekend of August 9th that Friday that we should have been there Aug 10th, my account was charged for the stay, up until today I had gone back and forth with the Hyatt and nothing has been resolved they had told me originally 3 to 5 business days for my money back when I called up a couple of times they said there was nothing in the system but when I called 2 days ago the lady at the desk told me she saw it and said she would cancel it when I was told it was cancelled already. 10 days later now that's 10 business days but two weeks later I'm still waiting for my deposit back and I'm still waiting for the manager to call me.

Went for a family trip to see Baltimore, and go to the aquarium. Found this hotel on Booking com. The pictures looked amazing… the pool and SPA were a big draw for my kids. Then we got there — the pool was a large bath tub basically, 4ft deep, NO SPA NO HOT TUB. The pool area was very dangerous the tiles are so slippery that our daughter fell getting out of the pool WALKING. We all slipped on the floor just trying to leave the pool area. The room was nice, clean and big enough for our family of 5. Unfortunately, the air conditioner did not work. The room was so hot. Finally at 9:30pm, they sent an maintenance employee up and he had to fix things in the utility closet in our room at 10pm! Breakfast was the best part of the stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with kids. I guess it is good for business persons, but not for families.

Called hotel prior to coming that I needed a feather free room. When I checked in desk clerk had no clue stated no feathers … come up to room Feather pillows … we asked both desk clerk (a different one) and person who brought up pillows about the comforter. Was told again NO Feathers … look at comforter more closely … feathers … exhausted want to go to sleep and still waiting for new sheets. Pillows were dusty. Hallway smells like mold … Lastly toothpaste smudged all on edge of sink in bathroom … makes me wonder how the room was actually cleaned … 3rd time asking for new sheets just so I can breathe … thinking this will be my last stay at a Hyatt.
