Reviews of Baltimore Marriott Waterfront 3*
We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. The bar staff are incredibly friendly and make a great drink. The room was large and clean, and the shower is really great. Hard to beat, especially for the price.
The beautiful view, the great service.
It's a beautiful hotel! great location and the staff is so nice! we are having a great time here!
Friendly staff, room was very clean, we had an amazing stay!
We were here for my birthday weekend, the service was excellent. It's a very busy hotel, but that did not affect the level of service. This property is now on my favorites list.
I arrived to a room not exactly ready for my reservation and the front desk was extremely apologetic and quickly upgraded me to a harbor view on a higher floor. I was disappointed there wasn’t water bottles in the room and I never had housekeeping the entire 4 days. Hotel is clean, impressive views, and great food in the restaurant.
Everything within walking distance. Great restaurants and bars.
I am sad that this area has some empty storefronts. Lovely hotel but I don't like the high cost with reduced amenities due to covid. It seems like cost should be decreased without room service and pool and other amenities?
Everything was great! Amazing staff and very helpful overall.
The customer service was phenomenal! Keisha at the front desk was very friendly, courteous, and efficient. I enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend this property. The view of the harbor from my room window was extraordinary!
The view of the waterfront from our room on the 32nd floor was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Wonderful beautiful atmosphere breathtaking view. A great staff very professional TkU Patrick C very clean Look to return very soon thank you Marriott.
Great second home wonderful staff, very nice Hotel, MARRIOTT built a great Hotel on the bay.
Beautiful views, great service, well appointed room. We had a wonderful visit!
The experience is exactly what I thought it would be. Great customer service and a great staff.
Mimi Andino, was amazing when we arrived she was super kind, and for me in my 29 years aniversary, it’s an amazing start of our celebration.
Great location, spectacular view.
Fantastic! Wonderful, helpful staff!
Even in the Pandemic, service and servers was friendly, sincere, hospitable… the visitors were like family! Rooms/Suites was gorgeous, clean and had the most delighting and relaxing view. An amazing environment and a wonderful stay!
My daughter’s wedding reception was held here in 12/19. They were ALL fantastic! Our rooms were beautiful the renovations were very well done. The bridal suite was our ladies place for the day and it was perfect. The food & drinks were great! Several guest told us it was the best wedding reception they had been to. It was a magical weekend!
The doormen we so incredibly helpful to us!
Best best best property in Baltimore city.
Beautiful area and great views of the city and harbor. Delicious restaurant down stairs. fantastic accommodations.
Lovely hotel and staff, plus beautiful views.
Great atmosphere, very clean, spacious rooms.
Great view of the Harbor the staff was very helpful.
Employees are awesome. The Hotel is awesome.
Great place to relax and unwind after a busy day. Very convenient and accessible to great restaurants and attractions, definitely will go back again.
Great property, great view and excellent staff.
Very nice … however much opportunity for improvement with the bar staff.
Great harbor view and excellent staff.
Great atmosphere, comfortable up to date rooms.
Awesome place to stay. Rooms and entire hotel so clean, staff are so friendly and helpful.
Great location and easy walking for shopping and food.
One of the best places to host large events. Great staff, good food, and plenty of parking.
Had a beautiful harbor view from our 21st floor. Had a friendly front desk crew. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Beautiful views on floor. Hospitable staff! Accommodating and courteous staff!
We went to a conference,,, that was great.
But the front desk have issues,,, we were Four couples, my reservation was for some reason, canceled, other one was checked out (front desk) one day too soon therefore they were locked of their at 2 am.
Finally got my room,, but it did not exist;wrong number and my name was tortured even with my Driver’s license in their hand
Breakfast was great and good service.
Hotel staff Kandice at the front desk, Ashley in the restaurant, and Devron in the front were awesome.
The staff and managers in the restaurant were rude and left us waiting for service for 20-30 minutes each day. One manger offered us some water for our inconvenience.
I like this Marriott a lot. Most of the rooms have an excellent view over the water and the cityscape side is good as well. As usual, Marriott rooms or well-appointed and meticulously clean. They have a great room service and nice restaurant there as well. Being right beside Fells Point, you can get all kinds of food. Terrific place.
Another great Marriott experience. Came here for a conference in the hotel and it was a good venue. The rooms are nice w/ refrigerators + safes. They gave me a complimentary upgrade so my room had a nice view over the water. Only thing that's kind of annoying is you have to take separate elevators for rooms on floors 5-23 and 24-32.
We stayed here for my birthday weekend trip and it was magnificent! Check in was smooth and easy. Our rooms were very clean and our housekeeper Alicia was extremely nice, thorough and efficient. She was a true delight! The view from our room was awesome to say the least. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It did not disappoint. The customer service and food was phenomenal. The pool was nice, it was good to have an onsite lifeguard as well. We were able to catch a little bit of the concert across the street. The fitness room was small but efficient. Check out went smooth especially since the bell hop helped with our luggage. Truly enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful hotel right on the water. Rooms are spacious and clean. Attended a wedding in one of the ballrooms and it did not disappoint. Parking is at a premium in the garage and can add up over the duration of your stay but it allows for in/out privileges so that's a plus. Located right next to a cute little shopping area and within walking distance of little italy with a lot of restaurant options.
This was our first stay at this location. A million thank you s for helping me make my hubby’s birthday weekend a success. The room was awesome (1015) with a beautiful view of the harbor. He entire staff was pleasant & courteous. Even down to the water temperature in the bathroom was nice and hot. Some of you other locations have water temperature issues. Everything we wanted & needed was a walk away. Check-in was fast & easy by Candace. We will be back again.
Beautiful, spacious hotel. We attended a convention here this summer, but did not stay in a room. The building is well maintained. The on-site restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was delicious. Coffee is a better deal at the Starbucks across the street. My niece left her purse on a bench by the harbor side, and it was located in the hotel's lost and found. We were very grateful. The number of panhandlers increases as the sun sets, but we still felt pretty safe around the hotel. They patrol all around the grounds and don't have much patience for the guests being harassed.
We visit Baltimore at least once a year to catch an Orioles game at Camden Yards. We always stay at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are friendly and attentive. Every single room has an amazing view of the city. We stay up late just to look out the window at the lights on the harbor. The location is great, next to a water taxi stop, in walking distance to Fells Point (Blue Moon Café for breakfast! ) and the Inner Harbor.
The amenities were quite satisfactory. Water was provided at many stations throughout the hotel as well as refreshments. The lobby and halls were beautiful and home to a lot of excitement. We used one of the ballrooms for our event, and the Marriott provided a cash bar as well as seating arrangements which were nicely prepared. Overall a very good experience.
Location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked the romance package and was supposed to receive champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. When I called down to find where the champagne and strawberries were, I was not told that the hotel was out of chocolate covered strawberries. I called back and was told they sent up small pieces of chocolate instead. The lady at the front desk offered to substitute a different dessert, that we could call down and order after dinner. Even though we did not order the dessert, it was very nice that she tried to find a different way to accommodate us. On the other hand, water was accidentally spilled on the comforter. Before I left for dinner, I stopped down at the front desk and asked for a whole new comforter. When we arrived back to the room, we found that they left a folded up duvet cover on the bed. I was very upset because I asked for a whole new comforter since it was soaked from the water. This was very uncomfortable to sleep with and my feet were wet the entire night.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Marriott waterfront hotel over the memorial day weekend. We enjoy the buffet breakfast. The staff was great. We will always stay there. Please keep up the good work thank you.
I visited for a conference. Check-in was quick and I had no issues even though I was a late arrival. I was upgraded to a harbor view room. The room was very clean and met all my needs. The bartenders were extremely attentive which I visited for a cocktail. During our conference we were provide breakfast and lunch. I was very impressed with our selections and he food was delicious.
Very classy hotel. The rooms are nice w amazing views and great location just steps to the water. And just around the corner from some amazing restaurants.
Loved the location, the upgrade fee was reasonable to get an awesome view if the harbor. Everything was clean, and there was a pool open til 11pm and a 24 hour fitness center. Pillows we're a bit too soft but that's really looking hard to find something to complain about.
If you have to stay a night or two in bmore. This is the place to stay. Great location. Walking to eat and drink or take water taxi. Great views. Beds are comfy. Parking was easy.
Went for a business meeting. A bit complicated to finds, small cobblestone streets are being repaired, but parking with a bridge into the hotel was convenient (though the spaces reserved for valet made self parking an unexpected chore). Met a guest who had access to the business floor lounge which was clean, had privacy at multiple tables, and had free coffee and breakfast. As we met at 10:10 I do note that one guest there was complaining that right at 10 (as they noted) the breakfast disappeared (and nothing yet was out for follow up). All in all fine, but lacking the true 5 star service (and I expect pricing thinks of themselves in that vein. ). On the harbour, but a bit of a walk to the most famous sites. Perhaps the water taxi is a plus so if often and reasonably priced that could be a great element.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. I had the best view at the place. Every member of the staff was upbeat and we're % committed to guest satisfaction. Of course the beautiful harbor and location to that area made it easy to have fun! Valet, bellmen, staff and bartender all were awesome! Can't wait to go back!
Attended an industry conference held at the hotel. The accommodations and amazing hotel staff exceeded expectations! Location allowed for beautiful views of the harbor. Hotel bar and restaurant had a surprisingly delicious menu. This exceptional food carried over into the catering for the conference itself.
A wonderful place for a conference! My stay was outstanding. My room was harbor side and the views were indescribable! The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The only problem was the food. I assume it was catered. The food was a little tasty, but mostly COLD. The desserts were not tasty and the cakes and pastries were hard. Still, the hotel itself was wonderful!
Very nice people. The bell staff, valet staff, front desk and room attendant have all been friendly and helpful. The room comfortable and a good size for two but we have three people and don’t have enough seating. Overall a nice stay.
Nice room on harbor side with good view. Air conditioning — heat a little noisy all night. Service at front desk and Marriott lounge was excellent, really nice staff obviously well trained in customer service (the guy at check in walked me to the elevator, the lounge staff offered to get food from the back, etc. Just all very nice). But for the slight noise could be 5 star.

Parking is not provided by the hotel but there is a semi connected garage next door. Parking cost 26 dollars and valet is 38. I would recommend the valet. The extra money is well worth it. Rooms were nice and I enjoyed the view.
Location was terrific, but the room was too warm and wouldn't completely cool throughout the night. Also missing some basic amenities like robes and there was no water provided in the room. The only option for water was too but it from a machine. Otherwise, nice hotel with a nice bar. Service was good as well.
Beautiful hotel that is perfect for events of any size. They have a number of ballrooms and halls that can meet any occasion. I stayed over NYE for a conference and the hotel staff was helpful and kind. Room service was discrete yet still thorough. Plus the hotel is located right in the heart of Baltimore with plenty of attractions including the aquarium to talk too.
Easy check in. Superb customer service. Facilities are top notch especially for group events. Dining options are endless and well within walking distance. All over a great experience.
Excellent. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. Awesome service — literally every staff person I encountered was friendly and proactively helpful, to me and my 4 year old daughter. I look forward to my next stay!
Great location! Shops, the Harbor, movie theater, Whole Foods Etc was all in walking distance. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Wonderful view. Staff was pleasant. The lobby area was very nice!
It's a beautiful place! I recommend it!
Have stayed here many times over the past 3-4 years. Have attended several meetings and events at this hotel. Have never had an issue. Service is outstanding. Very clean. Greatest thing is how convenient the location is. You can walk to several wonderful restaurants and Inner Harbor destinations like the Aquarium. Pricey so look for deals. Their restaurant Aprapoe is good, not great.
Visited an associate from in town. Lobby concierge was friendly and helpful. My associates all commented about how attentive and helpful that floor staff had been, so I count it all as good. And the hotel is very beautiful and clean, by the way. :)
Was there for a conference, not overnight stay, however, the place is VERY nice and the food was phenomenal. I think I gained 5 lbs in 3 days from their amazing food. The staff was also wonderful. I suspect it is pretty expensive per night, but if you're looking for luxury, this is it.
Greeted warmly and directed to my destination was started by ChaNeil. He was super nice. Parking was easy. Philip was a quick and comfortable front desk wizard. My birthday was celebrated on the 12th floor with an amazing view of downtown iconic symbols.
The room was plush, clean and very well provisioned. Bed was super as good as the view.
However, my food experience at The Yard restaurant was literally upsetting. Crab chowder had lots of crab but it lacked punch. The crab seemed undercooked.
The hamburger was delivered by the manager and looked pretty. Flavorless meat that left odd fattiness in my mouth a long time. Guess it was parcooked then left to soak before browning off for quick turnaround.
Fries had taste of being frozen and had zero salt. Salt wouldn't stick. Only ate a few.
No chocolate cake available.
Service at 4pm in nearly empty restaurant was sluggish. Talking waitresses we're interrupted for a drink refill. I needed the liquid to wash down my "medium" though overdone burger.
Got up 3 times sick afterwards. Yuck. Expected better. Not good birthday moments.
This was my first time staying at this Marriott. From the moment I walked in the door to this morning when I checked out, the staff was excellent! I am a person that likes my room cold, year round. It was nice to be able to have the thermostat low which made it easier for me to sleep and relax as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. No matter what part of the hotel I was in, the staff were very friendly and made me feel like a welcome guest. I'm not even a VIP member which made me enjoy the hotel even more.
Great location on the Baltimore harbor. Walkable area with lots of restaurants near by. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a conference style hotel and therefore it can get busy.
Had a really nice stay over the weekend here. Very centrally located in the Inner Harbor. Very accessible to many different restaurants and shops. Really like the water taxi. Prompt and courteous service from the staff all around High marks.
We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The location is perfect for walking to major stores, restaurants and museums. Little Italy is less than a block away! The staff was friendly, but we found it odd that housekeeping was still cleaning rooms at 5p on a Sunday. Our room hadn't been cleaned when we got back around 5pm that Sunday, and the lady told us she wasn't sure if they'd get to our room that day. Anyway, we still enjoyed our time at the Marriott. This is the view from room 1817.
The Hotel looks vey nice from the outside. However, The rooms are super old, the bed sheets and pillows are extremely cheap and very uncomfortable. This hotel it's over price I will never come back to this place. The pool looks like it's from the 80's and the gym is very small… They charge a delivery fee if you want room service, I requested 2 tea bags and my bill came up to $14. How is that possible? The only reason why I give 2 stars is because the hotel looks nice from the outside and it's on a very good location. If anyone wants to stay at this Hotel I recommend you stay at the four seasons across the street. If you found this comment helpful please press like.
We hosted a wedding here and the entire experience was absolutely amazing! Natalia, Katie, and Steve we're great to work with and the many different aspects of the wedding were handled in a very efficient yet flexible manner. Now that the wedding is over I feel bad that I won't be working with them on planning! The hotel itself is wonderful and views of the Inner Harbor are even better. I couldn't recommend a hotel more!
I went here for an event in the waterfront ballroom. The lobby, and restaurant look nice, modern age well kept. The food at the event was provided by the hotel, was quite good and had good service. The Wi-Fi was very slow and had intermittent problems. The area is nice and the waterfront views are excellent.
The following review is based on a business event. The breakfast and reception were good, the room used for the main conference was adequate for the number of attendees. In general the hotel has good facilities.
I stay at this Marriott pretty frequently and always have a good experience. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Nice location overlooking the marina. Parking fees are a bit pricey, but it's a secure garage. The Inner Harbor is walkable as well as the aquarium and the Science Center. The rooms here are very typical of Marriott properties, comfortable and we'll decorated. Regular in-room amenities like hair dryer, iron and small coffee service.
Beautiful views out of our window and our room was very comfortable. Especially loved the headboard reading lights. Hotel staff (front desk, valet, housekeeping) were all very accommodating and knowledgeable. Walking distance to all the best sights!
Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. Parking is not provided by the hotel but there is a semi connected garage next door. Parking cost 26 dollars and valet is 38. I would recommend the valet. The extra money is well worth it. Rooms were nice and I enjoyed the view.
BEAUTIFUL location right on the Baltimore harbor. One side overlooks Pier 6 concert area, and you can hear concerts pretty well from the lower floors. This could be fun for some, and a nuisance for others. I was there for a day conference, so no input on the rooms, but the catering service was wonderful, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly and more than helpful on so many occasions. That was very impressive and definitely noteworthy!
My stay at this hotel was simply beautiful. Everything was supplied and room service was great — from the breakfast and dinner to the fine luxury of our suite. Let's not forget the boardwalk and free entertainment nearby. *Will come again.
Everything about the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is top-notch. Staff were always friendly & accommodating, rooms are clean, beds were super-comfortable and the location is superb. You're an easy walk from pretty decent shopping, and tons of excellent restaurants. Power Plant Live, the aquarium… lots of entertainment close by. Couldn't be happier with our stay, thank you!
The views oic the harbor and the city beyond are so beautiful! Both in the day and the night. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice and helpful. The only slightly negative thing I could tell you is that the rooms are a little dated. The shower drains a little slowly and the furnishings are a little old. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable room with beautiful views.
A really great hotel with some wonderful views of the the Harbor. I visit this hotel frequently because of all the conferences that I attend in the local area. The hotel is clean and all the staff is great at what they do. Just a tip you are bring a car, the parking garage is located next door but it does have sky walk to the hotel in case of foul weather. Also there is a water taxi that stops right outside the hotel that can quickly take you over to hot spot around the inner harbor.
The hotel restaurant had very good food options and affordable prices. The company with which I went to the restaurant they said that the alcoholic beverages were delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive to our table. He would be back.
My cousin is a professor with extremely busy schedule that she has to take red-eye flight from San Francisco to Baltimore after international travel from China to attend a conference at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront between 5/28/17 and 5/30/17. She will arrive at the hotel in the morning and the conference activities start at 3:00pm. The hotel check-in time is 3pm. It would be nice if she could check in before noon and could take a nap before attending 3pm meeting. I have been a Platinum Member since 2011 and have been treated well granting with early check-in and late check-out. I wasn't sure if the hotel could honor my request to allow my cousin to check in before noon but I gave it a try by calling the hotel anyhow. The hotel did extend their courteous welcome to my cousin giving her a big break! I am very grateful to the hotel! Thank you Baltimore Marriott Waterfront!
Incredible facilities. The staff very friendly.
The hotel has an excellent location, in my case I have been lucky and my room has spectacular views. The room is very spacious and is in very good condition.
I went to the Marriott Waterfront to a birthday party in one of the classrooms activities. They have good space and good food and drink. The waiters, bartender and other staff provide a good service.
The staff is very nice and helpful. It's also located in a good area next to plenty of places to do things.
For a fancy hotel I was disappointed by the customer service. The hotel itself is nice. The room was clean and shower had good pressure. View was good but overall compared to other inner harbor hotels was not particularly special. Location is great, easy walk to all of inner harbor and Fell's Point.
I was here for testing for a professional certification during a conference. It was a really nice hotel on the harbor. The staff was very friendly.
The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the rooms have spectacular views. The location is in the heart of Baltimore and in walking distance of many attractions. There is also ample parking via the connected garage but it is pricey at $26/day or $45/day for valet.
We went to the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront to scout it as a location for a rehearsal dinner. While it was a little confusing getting from the parking garage to the lobby, most everything else was great. Faith, the events coordinator at the restaurant was super helpful and friendly. The only real down side was the lack of acknowledgement we got as we toured the banquet rooms upstairs. We passed 4 employees and none of them greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. The upstairs staff could really take a cue from the downstairs staff.
A good location with nice views if the harbor, and close to shopping districts. The aquarium is a short walk as well, and the Baltimore Arena is a 5 min car trip. Rooms are standard for Marriott, and soumd-proofing is not the best. But a very large restaurant in the lobby and huge concierge lounge on the 31st floor are unique.
There were no trash bags in any of the trash cans! The housekeeper came at 0858, way too early since check out was supposed to be at noon. She said she would return later, but we could hear her yelling "housekeeping" through the hallway. We kept hearing her say "I'll come back later" obviously she was way too early for anyone. The parking was paid by my employer for a party the previous night, but when I tried to use the voucher it wouldn't work and was told it was expired. The PMI lady said it expired at 2am! Tried to explain to her the party started at 7pm the previous night, why would they only pay for parking till 2am and have guests move their cars at the hour? She ask for my credit card, took my card, opened the gate, but charged me $26. I've come here several years in row for my work party! Was not pleased at all with this last visit!
Stayed for business, great location in the Harbor East area, many shopping and food options nearby. Check-in was smooth, got upgraded to the club level and had access to the concierge lounge. Room was nice and spacious; lounge had good options, though not as nice as overseas locations. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was also better than average. The hotel offers a pool and a sauna, but I didn't have time to use either. Would definitely stay here again!
Stayed overnight for our Anniversary! AMAZING. The Staff checking us in (JESUS) was amazing. He comped us a spectacular view for our room when he found out it was our anniversary. Meals eaten in restaurant Apropoe were incredible! Cooked to perfection and customer service was amazing. PLUG in stations all throughout the lounge were so helpful. Beautiful comfortable space everywhere but the BEDS were CRAZY COMFORTABLE. We overslept the next morning because of how comfortable the beds were! TEN STARS!
Absolutely fabulous! I celebrated my wedding here and everything was over expected. Our needs were met at all times. The executive suit was gorgeous and the staff was so pleasant and nice. The food was savory and on a timely fashion. Although there was construction in the area is logical that is was out of their respective. Other than that I absolutely loved it! Thank you for making my wedding an unforgettable experience.
The hotel was great, great location. I'm leaving this review about the vallet company they use. Check Your Bill. They charged me 4 times and I didn't use vallet once! That's $45 each time btw. Then the 3 people that "helped" me were all rude and pretty useless.
Great hospitality and service. Their restaurant, Apropoe's, is an excellent choice whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
Currently staying here. Some kind of drilling going on today and appatently the rest of my three day stay. I can't even concentrate in my room. Went to front desk to ask, although sympathetic could not guarantee me that the noise couldn't be heard somewhere else in the hotel. Very annoying and in my opinion unacceptable.
We stayed one night at this hotel. It was immediately after a Carnival Cruise on the Pride. We arrived early, so we had to wait for our room to be ready. The lobby is a really beautiful place to wait. We had a wonderful king bed room that had a great view. My only complaint would be that they still charge for Wi-Fi internet. It really seems to me to be silly. A wonderful hotel, with a wonderful and helpful staff. I highly recommend it.
I travel for work extensively and I am almost always both disappointed and frustrated by how tainted and musty the rooms of some very expensive hotels are. I almost always get allergic reactions, which miraculously disappear the minute I step outside. I recently stayed at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront for 3 nights and, other than being impressed by the view (my room was on the 22nd floor), I was also impressed by how clean the room was, to the point that I would take off my shoes at the door! The personnel were very friendly and helpful, greeting customers with a smile (what a difference that makes! ). The food was also surprisingly good (with healthier options available) and the staff wonderful, tending to everyone’s needs and intricacies in seconds. The hostess our last evening, Eleni, was especially warm, welcoming and helpful. Overall, this was a great experience.
I've stayed at this hotel 3 times as part of large groups whose charges were all covered on the clients' master account. Days after 2 of those stays the hotel decided to also bill me and several other members of the groups for charges that were already paid for by the master account. I find this despicable. And as this sort of fraud seems to be common practice for them, I can not recommend them.
Absolutely love this hotel! Have been to events and stayed here when I was visiting from out of town. Gorgeous views from the rooms of the Baltimore Harbor and great accommodations all around. Highly recommend if you're coming into town.
I am a regular visitor to this area. I always stay at the Hilton Homewood Suites, but they were booked solid. So, I tried the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. I will never return. The room rate was $445 — the bathtub was filthy, the furniture old and had a musty smell (all of us woke up in am with sinus congestion due to this). Tried to check out via their web app — it was down. Tired to submit guest feedback — it too was down. Went down to restaurant for breakfast that had plenty of open tables and a buffet — 2 nasty hostesses told me it would be 15 mins to be seated. Doesn't seem long, but when your already frustrated with a overly expensive stay that was extremely unpleasant — your done at that point. Then to add insult to injury, my parking fee was $30. The Inner Harbor area is beautiful, I love it — but this place is overly crowded, extremely overpriced, NOT worth the money.
I just had the most amazing experience with the Concierge Emily. I really love it when people are fantastic at their job! Over the phone, I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine to be sent to a friend's room as a surprise. Not only did she make the process a pleasant experience, but to my surprise she even hand wrote a Birthday Card "from me" for my friend. I just want to say THANK YOU to Emily for making two peoples day AMAZING.
Got here and room did not have a safe. After calling the front desk it took 2 hours to get resolved and get us another room. We where told first off someone would call in 5 minutes and 30 minutes later someone showed up at the room to make sure we did not have a safe like we said. Another 30 minute wait and someone called and asked if we wanted to move and we said yes. Another 30 minutes and I called them and they said they would send someone up to help us move to another room and told me the room number. Finally 30 minutes later I went to the front desk, got the room keys and moved myself. They also have dryers in the pool/fitness area for guest to use to dry their bathing suits, etc. Some women had all 4 dryers on with clothes loaded up. Talking underwear, pants, shirts, etc. Not bathing suits. Called the front desk and they just said well if she is not in a hotel uniform nothing we can do but yes they dryers are for guest to dry there bathing suits, etc. Toilet running very slow and stuffed up if using more than 2 or three toilet tissues so called front desk and they said they would have someone come up and look at it. No one ever showed up or followed up about it. Very disappointed with the hotel.
