Staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. However, the smell in the hotel was terrible. The staff acknowledged the smell and mentioned that there was a waste facility next door and their air intake was next to it. He said that it sometime happens, and makes the air system stink in the entire hotel. Very frustrating when you breath in poop and have to eat with that going on. Especially at 1-200 per. Night. They should have at the very least refunded our room cost or relocated us but offered to do neither. Also had white stains on the carpet in our room (eww! ) these things together equal one star, just because I would hate for a family to be disappointed after a long day of travel like we were.

For a quick overnight pit stop, this hotel was perfect. It is newer than some other nearby. Plenty of parking with lots of lights. The rooms are large and the best comfy. I liked the bathroom was a bit more private-hard to hear the activities going on inside. However, the door won't stay open since it is heavy, so it was hard to get the steam out after a shower. Breakfast buffet is $10 and does not offer a lot of selections but what we did have, we enjoyed.

The room was clean. That's the nicest thing I have to say about this hotel. The beds (as is the rest of the furniture in the room) were hard, the shower was rubbish, and the walls were paper thin. Also, while the super bright lights outside make thetparking lot feel sage, the curtains don't do enough to block the light from your room. If you're looking for a place to get a good rest along your travels, this might be among your best options for the area, but don't expect to actually be rested. Oh, and they don't even offer free breakfast. So you'll either have to pay an additional fee for hotel food or find somewhere else to get energy to make up for the fact that you didn't sleep last night.

The front desk was not welcoming! The guy act like he hated being there and serving you. You ask a question he responded like he was reading a script. I said thank you twice to him and never responded! Good hotel but he made you feel unwelcoming!

Brand new building. Super clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Went swimming in the heated pool with was very nice. Hotel has a restaurant and bar inside.

Courtesy helpful staff. Room was clean and very nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed overnight. The room was very clean and resturant was good, wait staff very friendly, and the desk clerk was very helpful and nice. My husband attended a work related event the next day and the clerk at front desk gave us a late check out time so I could stay at hotel while my husband was at class. We really appreciated the accomodation. Any time we are in Lafayette we will definetly stay here again.

The place is beautiful clean and smells good, the staffers who are at the front desk are very nice and friendly, Phil who served us at the Dinning room is very attentive and friendly he is a very good asset to your hotel.

Second time staying here. Nice and quiet… away from the rat race but close enough for when you have outings.

I only stay at this hotel… odd way to get to it… but it is all worth it. Super nice. Quiet and clean.

Staff is absolutely Excellent! Very pleasant! The location is in a very quiet neighborhood. Far enough away from the riff-raff. Multiple lights in the parking lot so your car is very visible. Expect a lot of oil field and electric company guys staying at this location. But they are very quiet and respectful. I have stayed at this location over 5 times and I am a Gold Elite Rewards member, so I am very familiar with IHG properties!

Clean and the outside is well lit at night. Roving security patrols outside. Food was good too.

A hidden gem, behind other hotels. Andrew at front desk polite and efficient. Faith in the bar area has great personality and knows her craft. PS also has a gift for making stylish brackets, necklaces on the side as her when you visit. Goid food and bar service here. Well thought out room design with spacious and clean rooms. I will be staying her again on my next trip thru Lafayette.

Very nice, modern rooms. Hotel and restaurant staff very helpful and friendly. Indoor pool and hot tub, high speed Wi-Fi, microwave and fridge in the room. Rooms were clean, including the bathroom. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place. Hotel looks brand new and very well taken care in and out. Staff extremely helpful, not only management, but restaurant staff and cleaning crew. They went an extra mile to keep us happy. Will come back again soon!

This is a very nice, new and clean hotel. Close to the highway and not far from the airport. The staff is friendly. Very nice rooms.

Their suites are gorgeous and very spacious! Disappointed with the sofa bed that was broken. Also, the front desk guy wasn't very happy or pleasant. The breakfast was $10.95 per adult and not a lot to choose from. We ended up going to another place down the street for breakfast.

The hotel itself is extremely nice, plenty of parking, and a grand staircase at the entry going upstairs in addition to the elevators. The staff was friendly and quick to great you as you walked in the door. I was upgraded to a king suite upon check-in which was a fantastic space. It would especially be great for extended stays due to the size, comfort, and amenities.

Stayed here last minute just passing through. Lucky find for sure. New, very clean and nice staff. Parking lot was well lit and patrolled so we didn't have to worry about our dirtbikes getting stolen. Only complaints were the rock hard bed and no complimentary breakfast. But the gumbo at the restaurant was incredible.

Beautiful stayed here valentines day weekend of 2015. Love it! Very clean, beautiful furniture. Front desk associate very nice.

Great new hotel, so big, beautiful decorations, pretty fancy, very clean, great service and fantastic price for this deal! It's a must stay!

My wife and I stopped here on our way back home, this hotel was the best choice we could have made. The staff was fantastic. We are at the restaurant for dinner on the night we arrived as well as breakfast the next morning and both were delicious. They helped us with our young baby and made us feel like family. We will stay at this hotel every time we say in Lafayette.

We had an Awesome Stay here. Staff is Awesome as well. I give it 5 stars will be visiting again real soon.

On Sept 12, 2016 I was traveling with my 2 sisters to South La from Northeast Texas. When we were involved in an accident Lafayette. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to us. We were stranded there due the accident and the current flooding. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, service was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

I live on the west coast so there is a 2 hour time differnce. I was woken up at 2:30am when I got a phone call from my family stating that they had to evacuate another family members home because of the flooding here. This was the second time they have had to evacuate in the last 24 hours. They informed me that they were at this hotel and rushed to leave their home and left credit/debit cards. So I immediately got online and attempted to book a room so that they would not be STRANDED in the rain. I typed in the hotel and booked away because when you find out your family has NOWHERE to go it's instinct to find a solution. Now I've booked many hotel and usually the check in default date is for the day you book until you change the day. To my surprise after I booked two rooms the default dates were August 28! My family asked VERNON if we could change it to today and he stated we just needed to call orbitz. Simple right. Well I talked to Orbitz and they were very professional long story short they could not do it without the authorization of the manager. Orbitz told me I personally should try calling the hotel. I called and VERNON answers the phone and wasn't not pleasant nor helpful. He started his conversation off with FIRST OFF. Which is very confrontational. I asked him for the managers name when they would be in and the telephone number to corporate to discuss cancellation of the rooms.

Rooms were nice! Pool and hot tub indoors and nice. They have a workout room that is super nice! walls are not forgiving of sounds! we heard the room next door all night and everything in the hallways.

Avoid avoid avoid. The only nice thing is they are not right on the interstate. That being said… The listed price per night on this app is false. The app said $98 a night, but I am being charged $123 on checkout. I paid less to sleep at a hilton for one night and they had HBO, larger rooms, and an actual duvet, not some plastic/paper sheet hidden between two sheets that makes more noise than a freight train when you turn in the night. The bed is impossibly hard, and I prefer a stiffer matress, the pillows are too soft, and the bathroom vents are decorative. And the goddamn noise. I don't know who designed the halls, but sound carries like an opera house in here. I know I said they were the hotel farthest from the highways and interstate, but they can still be heard easily. And then there's the 3 am train. I thought they made it up in "my cousin vinny, " but it's a real thing. $109 for a hilton or $123 for these @! $&) oles? No competition. Avoid avoid avoid.

Beautiful new hotel! Room was very nice and clean! The bed was very comfortable! Staff was very nice! Will definitely be back if I need a hotel in this area in the future!
