It was supposed to be a very special night for my husband and I. Not only were we celebrating Valentines Day, but also my Birthday. It was the first time in years we were able to get away for the night. With his work schedule and my job, also caring for my disabled son and elderly parents I wanted it to be extra special. I splurged on a room that was supposed to have a jacuzzi in the suite. We get there and go up to our room which was supposed to be non-smoking which is important because of my allergies, and the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. We go in and search the room for the Jacuzzi and nothing? There was a tiny bathtub with some jets on the sides. My husband and I are large people and not even one of us could fit into that tub. My husband called the desk as I was crying. He was told that there are only a couple of rooms with actual Jacuzzis and they are occupied. He offered to take off $25.00 for the confusion. How in the world was that going to make everything better? We go to the casino and when we return we decide to at least try the jacuzzi in the pool room. It was barely hot and the jets did not work. We still try and make the best of it and enjoy each other when a man comes in with his young daughter and she joins us in the jacuzzi (hot tub). So we head to the room. Needless to say we are a couple that tries hard to make the best of a situation but I left there so sad because nothing went as planned. The guy at the desk said he is not responsible for what is advertised and the pictures they use. Am I wrong to be so disheartened about spending over $200 that was not easy for us to scrape together to hear an excuse like that?
