Booked non-refundable rooms 2 weeks in advance only to arrive and find out they gave our room to someone else… They offered a less accommodating room which we accepted only to find it uncleaned. So here we were with a one year old baby at 10pm (by this time) and no room. The host did make several calls to other hotels to try and find us a place, and she didn't decline our refund, so we had that going for us. Days inn finally took care of us. Worst hotel experience of my life and I've checked into some dandies… Lol This would be a good place for someone to start a hotel, unfortunately for now it's a first class clusterf&$

This place rented us a dirty room. As in "you can have this room but it hasn't been cleaned. " This would be less issue if the room didn't cost $150. Staff was very friendly and had told us they would correct the cost on our booking but alas, a week has passed and no change in the billing.

Im a general contractor, the owner im assuming set up a estimate with me to have all there rooms painted. Then turned around a no showed, had maid walk me through hotel, she was obviously not into it. Dude could of atleast had the respect to show for his business appointments.

As the name suggests, smaller rooms but fully appointed with fridge, microwave and a wonderful full breakfast instead of the skimpy continental that the online guide had suggested.

Very Dirty Rooms! I had to move to 3 different rooms before I got a room somewhat clean, enough to stay in for the night. The room smelled like marijuana very bad. The staff is very nice. I stay at microtel hotels all over the country and this is the worst one I have ever seen. I understand it's a low budget hotel but it could at least be clean. Stay away from this hotel there is plenty of other hotels in the area.

We paid 400 dollars to stay in one of the only hotels available. There were crusty, fryed, bloody boogers wiped on the walls. The lights were burned out. The fridge smelled as if something had dyed in it. There was little water pressure in the sink, I literally had to wash my face in the tub. There was a huge dead bug that resembled something like a cockroach in the drawer. We only recieved room service 1 out of the 3 days we stayed. When we brought all these things to the staff's attention they basically discredited everything we were saying. Oh and I forgot to mention, the toilet backed up as well.

The room was okay, good for the price. The smell of cigarette smoke in the hall was pretty bad but I had a non-smoking room and there wasn't a smell of cigarettes in the room. There aren't any vending machines that we could find on any of the floors. The strangest thing is the what looks like two way mirror on the back wall of the room.

Had a comfortable stay; coffee, tea, and water available all day. Cookies in the lobby. Breakfast was pretty full of variety; I enjoyed the fresh bananas and apples. Room was clean; bathroom was clean.

Good experience, microcell inn was available, at a reasonable price, and provided a free shuttle to the airport, when flight was cancelled and stuck in cinncinnati.

A nasty hotel… we checked in and checked out 10 minutes later… the rooms smelled … the hotel needs a complete overhaul… Wyndham should be ashamed to have its name on this hotel! In fairness the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

We generally enjoy Microtel and have had good experiences in other locations. This one, however, was a disappointment due to the pervasive aroma of smoke that invaded our room throughout the night. We were given a non-smoking room, however, the entire section of our hallway on the 3rd floor smelled strongly of smoke, and smoke odor was coming into our room, probably under the door. Would not return.

Said they had rooms but they were all dirty… It was after 6:00 PM! When asked when they would be ready, was told not until tomorrow. Bye for good!

This was the worst experience you could possible have at a hotel. The room that we were staying in for the week got flooded from a water issue, my bag got soaked and ruined my Mac laptop. The hotel moved us into a smoking room (I am highly allergic to smoke) and then moved us, the next day, into a room that had a shattered glass window! Then, the hotel manager avoided talking to use for the next week even though we left him our personal numbers and went to the font desk 2-3 times a day to try and speak with him. He didn't help us out at all with my ruined laptop (after we got an estimate on how much it would be to repair the laptop). And the only thing the hotel manager would do for us, was comp us ONE NIGHT. Im sorry but this was no was to treat your customers, and we were VERY nice about the whole situation. Do NOT stay here.

Very small room. Not very clean. Chips were under the mattress, the actual pillow was stained with blood not the pillow case. Poop was on the bathroom wall right under the toilet paper. There was no towels and the comforter is like a slightly thick sheet. High unlikely I will ever stay at again.

Great staff clean rooms. A bit drafty but nothing unbearable. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

It was cool for the price. Breakfast is cooked in a microwave. But it was good. House keeping not doing so good. But I give it a thumb up.

I was surprised that my wife was able to find a room for two for under $70 (including taxes/fees). The lobby wasn't huge, but was well-kept and the staff were friendly and acted professionally. However, I was equally shocked to find upon entering our room a half-eaten pizza, used linens on an unmade bed, trash still in the bins, and towels strewn about the bathroom. Needless to say, I asked if the pizza was complimentary, and the staff quickly found me a new room. As I entered the new room, I wasn't overly impressed with the several stains in the carpet, multiple patch jobs in the walls, a shower curtain rod that wasn't properly installed and hanging off the walls, and bath that felt it would cave in as I stepped around it (and I'm only 200lbs). To end on a good note, breakfast was included and not half as bad as a few places I've been. Add that to free Wi-Fi which had decent speed (though I'm not sure if that was just due to the low number of other guests whom I appeared to be sharing bandwidth with) and shampoo/conditioner that felt like actual stuff from the store and not glorified vegetable oil. All and all, the quality of the rooms is by far the biggest detractor, but the additional services, great staff, and (let's be honest) the price make this a worthwhile stay.

Not a good experience. Room was ok (see pic), though the desk chair was a conference chair (see pic) not suited to long working. And on check-in an issue with card reader required a few attempts that would seemingly not go through. Receptionist said reader was having issues so we used the other one available. Biggest disappointment was that I couldn't check into room as it lacked electronic lock. Went back to desk, was given a old school key. But then door would barely shut because the inside security latch was misaligned (see pic). Had to lift door to get it shut. And the door jam (where the main door lock and deadbolt went) was a shocking mess (see other pic). The main lock had just a sliver of metal securing it. I can say that most rooms had the electronic lock, and perhaps all had working door jam and security latch, but I was disappointed to be put in the room in this state. Some other aspects of the check in and check out were dismaying enough (though staff was apologetic) that I will not likely return.

Fitness center was promised on reservation to find out when we went to use it that it didnt exist. The tub creeks with every step you take in it. Floor in room also feels sticky all over. Definitely can tell this used to be a smoking hotel. I would spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Beds are nice but the pillows are quite thick, thankfully I always bring my own. No refrigerator which would have been nice. They say fitness center but it's actually off site. This would have been ok if we weren't hauling a trailer. We ended up simply walking around the area but the traffic is pretty busy. You could probably walk to the fitness center if you really needed it. Coffee at the lobby is nice and we didn't try the Continental breakfast. Bathroom had soap and shampoo only but nice towels. I did use all the space in the room… large window seat and desk area. Great for placing all our items out. For one night this was acceptable but if we were staying more I would rather have the frig and on site fitness.

Dark mirrors on wall? Crack in bathroom wall. Dining area seats were stained and dirty. Pay the extra and stay somewhere nicer if you want to enjoy your stay. If you just want cheap… you hit the jackpot.

For the price you can't complain about too much. Good location, clean rooms, and a decent breakfast. No bells and whistles, so it saves you money. It's a great place for the cost effective traveler that wants a comfortable stay.

Stayed here a few times, reservations there seem to be an issue with internet booking. Rooms are adequate and did not overtly offer that smelly succinctness as you would expect in many hotels. Continental breakfast is good. Shopping for groceries at Meijer is just up Woodspoint Drive. Not sure why southbound Woodspoint Drive has has a right turn only. Makes getting to southbound I-75 an issue.

An incompétent hotel. From arrival to departure we constantly had issues. Sinks clogged, received used towels, etc… The service was unfriendly and not very helpful. They offered to discount our price then messed up the final tickets. Its the lowest price in that area for a reason. Your better off paying a little more for a quality hotel. A one star is too high for this hotel. Never booking there again.

Best price in the area. Staff were friendly, and the blinds really kept the lights out. However, there were so many little issues wrong with the room. When we got in, we noticed the toilet and bath had not been properly cleaned. The shower head had red mildew on it. The bed didn't have a bed skirt. The toilet seat was broken. The drain in the bath tub didn't drain well. There was no toilet paper and even when we called and were told it will be brought to our room, it never did. We had to go get it. The electric outlets were loose and wouldn't hold the plug in the wall. Breakfast was good (temperature and taste wise). At the time the juice machine was out of order. There was no meat (sausage or bacon) as well.

We had a 3 night stay; my husband and I in one room and our daughter with her 4 children next door. To call our rooms "suites" was a joke. Each room had 2 Queen beds with a kitchen counter, with sink, separating them. Each room a had window seat; one had a cushion on it. The curved shower rod was barely hanging on. On our second day, the only "Housekeeping" service we received was 1 towel and washcloth left on the edge of the bathroom counter. The used towels were not removed and the beds were not made. Our request for more towels was honored. The desk clerks were "business only" not very friendly. Included breakfast was minimal. There are enough other places to stay in Florence. I would suggest you find another.

Workers are incredible nice. Very friendly. Rooms are lovely.

Nice room. Door to the bathroom was too long on thee bottom and scraped the tile floor making it very hard to close. Clock and mini fridge was both unplugged when I got there.

Lower than Average stay at a typical hotel. Walls are thin. Upper levels are quieter. Water drains slow in sink and tub. Rooms were clean. Breakfast includes cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit, juice, milk, yogurt, muffins, bagels, biscuits and gravy that were never restocked. Coffee was weak… a first for me in a hotel. Front desk was nice to make cookies for us when they ran out. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Well, the room was fine. It was clean. The weird wall length sex mirrors upset me. It's a hotel room, not a ballet Barre. I was so tired, I thought the bed was comfortable. Until I woke up every hour in horrible pain and found out it was a rock bed. A bed made of rocks.

Nice room, we got the queen suite. Has a condo feel to it. Up and coming location. TV could use updating/better location in the room.

Night clerk wouldn't honor coupon listed in Travel Coupons book app. The coupon was good for up to 4 people but according to the clerk it didn't count for a double bed room which he was trying to sell to me for over $100. If you're going to offer coupons to draw guests in you should at least honor the coupon. My family and I went to a Comfort Inn down the road and they had no hesitation about accepting a coupon from the app you refused to accept. I have stayed at this property numerous times in the past, but after this incident, I can't say that I will again.

Great location next to World of Golf. Very clean and spacious room at a good price. Friendly staff as well.

This is a decent hotel. The free breakfast had biscuits and gravy. The room was clean but bed not that great.

Room was nice, but slept terrible both nights I stayed. The front desk staff were pleasant and quick with checking in and out. The breakfast didn't look appealing, so we ate at a restaurant near by, but overall it was a good stay.

Rooms small and outdated. But was clean and had a nice free breakfast.

Room was clean but small. The bathtub was clean but had hair on the drain. I was charged for the room on line and then charged again. The front desk didn't know how to fix it until the manager comes in. Been 2 days and haven't got resolution. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would stay there again unless my charges are not resolved. Very fair price for the room.

While the hotel is clean and close to all annemities and an awesome value compared to cinci hotels, the one thing that earned this rating was the fact that it is VASTLY underinsulated. We are traveling with 3 children between 5-10 and within the first hour of being here, one of the "neighbors" complained and said the children were jumping which in turn had management at our door. This is at 7 in the evening after being in the road for 4 hours. Turns out the noise was my 5 year old getting on and off the furniture I. E. Toilet, chair, and bed which happens to be a bit higher than she can reach but with her weighing less than 30# we weren't too concerned. When we left to get dinner after that, we noticed how loud EVERYTHING was too. You could hear "stomping" from people walking in the rooms and hall upstairs, all the doors slaming, drawers and wardrobes opening and closing as well and the TV in the next room. It probably didn't help that the room next to us contained a dog that would growl and whimper at any noise. The hotel was great for price just can't fathom having to whisper and tiptoe around to avoid complaints especially with kids. Other than that the Wi-Fi is sketchy at times and the toilet was stopped up upon arrival.

Decent rooms, but the bathroom had obviously not been cleaned nor swept since the previous occupants. The shower made weird noises all night, and the room heater/air conditioner squeaked so loud we just turned it off.

So first somehow we were booked for the wrong weekend thought that was the website we used fault. It took us awhile to get checked in. Convenient location. Rooms are small but that was as expected. Cleaning was sub-par. There was hair on the bed and on the bathroom floor. One of our door keys didnt work so we had to get it fixed. But since the lady fixed one door key it made the other not work. So again we had to get the keys fixed. When I took a shower the tub creaked and I couldnt get the water to stop running fully on the bottom spout so I was standing in water and it was the loudest shower ever. I could hear the pipes in the wall creak when I used the sink. The bathroom light flickered, and one of our wall plugs wouldnt hold anything in it. Another wall plug the bottom port didnt work. The 3rd floor ice machine was out of order. One of our towels had a stain or something on it. One front desk lady was really nice but the other seemed to not want to be there at all. We picked it because we had a tight money budget but I will not go back there again.

The 2 queen suite is not bad. The bath tub made a creaking sound with every movement, which was kind of annoying. The staff apparently does not check the room on the night of your first stay, so you have to go and ask for clean towels, which seems to annoy some of them. Their website says that there is a gym on site, there is not. Hallways smell like smoke. Our room did not smell like smoke so that was good. The a/c "worked", it ran fine but could not be adjusted. Continental breakfast was okay, nothing fancy. Over all it was an inexpensive hotel, just a few annoyances. The staff needs to be trained to check every part of a room before thinking/saying it is clean. Food in the freezer from the previous visitors, dirty wash cloth on the floor near the bed… just shouldn't happen.
