I lost my apartment to fire damage and was placed at Courtyard Marriott Louisville East for about two weeks. Not only am I appreciative of the opportunity afforded me as a result of Marriott's partnership with Allstate Insurance, but I was treated extensively well by staff and service alike. A very specific applause is extended to Ms. Brookman, the Operations Manager on site, as she expressed availability, kindness and hospitality while communicating through an issue we detected upon checkout. She remedied the issue as quickly as possible with professionalism and ease. Thanks for a stay that assisted me at a time when needed!

We want to thank the management (Rebecca) and the staff for the outstanding service, care and attention given to our friends on their wedding night. You guys went above and beyond expectation!

We had a great stay here. The hotel is close to the interstate so easy on easy off and also close enough to attractions. The outdoor pool area is simple but feels a bit like a resort since it's situated in the middle of the hotel … and you can't see the parking lot or hear much street noise.

Typical older Courtyard where the lobby is nicer than the rest of the aging property. Overall it served the purpose but could have been cleaner and nicer. It also took quite awhile to check in. I don't believe they offered the option for express check-in via the app like many other Marriott properties. Next time I'm in the area, I will try a different property.

Had a nose issues started at 245 am next week ۔ Desk phone not working so could not get a hold of front desk until after o called a few times and choose operator option on direct line. It has been about 30 minutes now and I have not heard anyone come up yet to talk to the other room. Terrible night will not stay again,

Very nice! Room was very clean and updated staff was knowledgeable and quick and friendly. Definitely would come back!

For a Marriott, wasn't as great as we expected. One of our friends got a better hotel for a better price than this one too. Now, that saying, a hotel's a hotel. It's got a nice bed, and a TV, so slept well, and I guess that's all that really matters.

Good location in regards to the Kentucky Exposition Center. Rooms are nice and clean. Cleaning maids are muy friendly.

Stayed overnight while in town for the airshow. Hotel was slightly difficult to find but with navigation we found it just fine. Every interaction with staff was pleasant and one of the housekeepers even brought my toddler some crayons and coloring pages to play with upon our arrival! Room was clean and arranged nicely. Something different I noticed was, this hotel offered upscale tea tree shampoo/conditioner/body wash in full size containers adhered to the shower wall instead of giving you the little bottles.

BEAUTIFUL Suite, king bed super comfy! Guest Laundry on site, ALWAYS a major Plus! Ice machines on every floor, Awesome! Pool & whirlpool, fitness center, and the Bistro is open 7 days! Nice and quiet, I rested Well. I had a long day today, and tomorrow will be even longer, if that's possible! Only 1 night, wish I could have stayed longer to Enjoy More!

The best beds and familiarity… all amenities needed in lobby… no free breakfast but they make up for that with service.

Nice Courtyard. It was a clean, well taken care of property. The people were pleasant.

Room was nice and seemingly clean. Checked in and out quickly. The whirlpool was down for maintenance. That sucked.

Great hotel. I'm never disappointed with Marriott properties — — they are my number one choice when travelling.

Do NOT get a room at this place! I booked this room through Groupon because my Uncle was diagnosed with inoperable cancer back in October so my family decided to all come together for him for Thanksgiving. After fighting traffic and traveling all the way from Florida we were late for dinner so we stopped by the hotel to grab our key and then headed over to my Uncle's for dinner. When we returned that night and took our luggage to our room we found that the room had not been cleaned from the previous tenants. There were pretzels all crunched up along the side of the bed, someone's deodorant was laying on the floor by the window and one of the beds had not been made. So I went to the front desk and asked for a new room which the manager promptly gave me and apologized profusely. When we moved all of our stuff to the 2nd room we found a LIVE baby roach under the sheets on one bed and a huge creepy crawly bug alive on the ceiling. We immediately went downstairs to the manager once again and I asked to just be let out of my reservations due to all of the inconveniences and nasty conditions. He was very kind and once again apologetic and even offered us free drink and snacks as we left but we declined because we were tired and anxious to find a decent room to sleep. The manager assured me that I would not be charged anything and that my refund would have to come from Groupon since I booked through them.

Check in was quick and easy. My room was large and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from the rooms near me, which was nice. The bar area was very nice and inviting. I wish I'd had time to sit at the fireplace and have a drink. Maybe I will next time!

Not worth the hassle — stay at another Marriott property. My king room was not available, so I was put in a double handicapped room. Keys didn’t work TWICE so I had to lug my stuff back and forth three times. No microwave to reheat my food from the 30 mins it took to get into my room and then to top it off, the freaking TV didn’t work! No remote in the room, had to call the front desk lady who clearly hates me at this point via no fault of mine but because of the low-grade property. As a frequent traveler, I will not be staying here again.

Nice bar, and they had a Starbucks. Good stuff. Would have liked to be open later on a Sat night.

Typical experience for a Marriott property. Staff was friendly, but not particularly outgoing. This isn't a complaint… It's just that I expect a certain level of service and maintenance from a Marriott location. This Courtyard met my expectations, but they didn't do anything to exceed them.

Very nice hotel, beautiful Lobby nice rooms. Looks like it might be a little bit older remodel. Hard to see from the street.

Great location off of the highway. Plenty of eating options nearby for dining. Dining options within hotel as well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere and clean.

The staff were friendly. I liked how the rooms were laid out. Different from some of the other hotels I've stayed at. My room also had a small balcony that I could go out on.

I booked a room for my son at the Courtyard Louisville East using Marriott points. He Checks in and around six hours later he gets a call where the person on the phone knows his last name and says "this is the front desk, we have a problem with your credit card information" and asks for it again. He gives it to them and within a few minutes he has a charge to Cedar Point on his card. Thankfully because it was such a large amount that it did not go through. I contacted Marriott immediately. I have gotten a response from the Assistant Manager stating that a call came in with the right last name and they just forwarded it on, and that the person must have impersonated the hotel staff. We will not stay here again. Stayed July 2017

Everything was perfect. A breakfast buffet would have been awesome as opposed to the paid breakfast made at the Starbucks within the hotel. That being said, it's a beautiful hotel well worth staying at.

The rooms were great! All the people were nice. Easy check in/out. Helpful staff. Cleaning crew brought fresh towels and took my dirty ones. I will definitely recommend Courtyard by Marriott to ally friends and family.

Nice hotel with a friendly staff. Clean rooms and a really nice lobby with a Starbucks. Only issue I have is that there is no breakfast. Since they have a Starbucks, they don't serve any continental breakfast. I was hoping for at least a little something in the morning.

I am Marketing Director for Wildwood Country Club. I send wedding parties to stay at this property on a regular basis and have always heard good things about the hotel and staff. I have personally taken a tour of the hotel and it is new and clean, with nice location and amenities. They offer great group rates and a complimentary shuttle for large groups.

I come up to Louisville every other weekend. For this stay I brought my 2 kids so I wanted to stay in a nicer hotel. I have stayed here before by myself once and didn't notice any problems. But this time it has been HORRIBLE! First off I got a king suit because I was told they did not have any standard rooms left and after I checked in I went on their site and there were standard rooms available which really irritated me that I was lied to me just for them to make more money. And on top of them putting me in a more expensive room they over charged me for the room by like $50. I will be calling corporate to get that fixed. The next thing I noticed is they do not offer a complimentary breakfast. I paid almost $400 for 2 nights so I really expected that to be an option and instead I ended up having to pay over $10 for 2 bowls of cereal. The next thing that really bothered me is the fact that they have their TVs set up to where you cannot connect an htmi to it. It forces you to buy their movies for $20 each. And with having 2 kids I had to buy at least one because there were no child appropriate TV channels for them to watch… my children are 2 and 5. You would think they would have something available to watch on TV for that age range… The pull out bed is horribly uncomfortable so I ended up having to share a bed with my kids which isn't the worse part of the stay but definitely not fun. Overall not a good stay and I will never be staying here again!

We were in town for a late night concert and decided to stay overnight. While this location is a little bit of a drive from downtown (although, not too far), it was still in a good location. The room and hotel in general were clean and comfortable with a very inviting lobby. We would stay again!

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Tv wouldn't come on, called front desk and they said they would send someone up but no one ever showed to check it out.

The first floor room was drafty and smelled heavily of stale cigarettes even though this was advertised as a non-smoking facility. I was disgusted!

This place is right a few feet of I-64, a noisy place for a quite stay, if you are looking for a nice and quite night of sleep! You might just kiss that good bye, this place is due for demolition since every thing is due and out of date.

Easy to get to from the airport and convenient to many restaurants. It was clean and quiet. Like all courtyard hotels, it was nice, but not OMG. Overall, as expected, which is fairly nice for a business traveler.
