There were signs up for no smoking but the lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. The carpets were stained in both the lobby and on the second floor where the room was located. The room however was fairly decent. Appeared to be generally clean with no odors. The site that the room was booked through had photos of a pool but after checking in it was found that no pool was to be found.

Place is filthy. The owner/operators are rude& unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The room was horrible mildew Smokey smell but I was only staying for a 2 to 3 hour nap and leaving so I left it alone, however on my way home the clerk lady calls me to tell me they smelled smoke in the room that they were not refunding my deposit of 50 dollars. I will dispute the charges with my bank however and if this is how they do business they will be closed down soon.

This place is filled with drug addicts and junkies… Disgusting. Other than that the rooms are clean. They did have a problem with bed bugs a few years ago but the problems fixed now, the only downfall is the junkies and the fact that they will keep you up all night talking outside.

The owners are very nice and the rooms were always clean.

Clean room and no problems with it. Used priceline and received lower rate than quoted when I called hotel. Location was central to my area of travel and close to expressway and restaurants/entertainment. Very quiet hotel, no disruptions from other guests and it was a Saturday night. Only complaint is regarding incidentals security deposit. I was Required to deposit $50 upon check in. When I checked out, staff informed me she would only refund $20 due to my 2 guests I had in the room. These guests did not stay the night, did not use any of the accommodations/facilities, and each one only visited for a few hours. I conveyed that infirmatiin and she was very rude and patronizing to me. So basically, the money I saved utilizing a website, was still recouped from the hotel.

Wet floor no proper air conditioning. Odor everywhere, old and nasty restroom. And I cannot express my feelings and at last more expensive.

3 starts bc the staff was nice. The first room I went to had dirty sheets and pillows. I went to get my money back so I could go to a 3-4 star hotel and she called her manager said they couldnt refund my money. They took me to another room which was much cleaner. The carpets everywhere needs to be replaced though. The lady at the first was super nice.

Guest services was nice. Corridors smelled of smoke. Ice machine broke on third floor, had to go to first floor to get any ice. No light bulbs in room.

Big rooms, nice beds and bathrooms. Each room has its own mini fridge and microwave. The blankets are scratchy and thin. The continental breakfast is from 6-9am however, at 7:20am, there was nothing left and nothing else being offered. Free Wi-Fi!

Quite and comfortable. Reasonable prices. The innkeepers were genuine and friendly. Had a good stay.

Stayed one night, my girlfriend was stabbed outside the front door of the hotel as we were staying and the manager said because it was outside its not her problem them smiled and later told us to leave because of it then refused our deposit because she claimed her trashcan that was right there in the open was missing. I would never recommended this hotel to ANYONE get a MOTEL do not stay here, the rooms are disgusting from the start and the manager is lazy and repulsive attitude towards guests.

The manager is kind and friendly, accommodating me and giving me the best value and rate possible. I think it's an excellent price with quality service. Free continental breakfast, clean rooms, kid friendly, and the staff make you feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Would NEVER stay here again! The "manager" is the most rudest person I've ever met! She was acting like there was no other rooms available when I told her that our AC wouldn't work… She came to my room and said "it is working mam" but yet we all woke up in puddle's of sweat! I know that there was other rooms because I checked on the website and there were tons of rooms available. Not to mention there were maybe 6 cars in the parking lot. My suggestion for anyone that wants a nice hotel to stay in… don't stay here!

The woman at the front desk was quite helpful and warm, also efficient. We checked in with no difficulties. The amenities were very adequate, and provided a good night's rest. The breakfast was nice, the only downside being no tea.

It is a good deal. However, the ads show pool and fitness center. They do not have those. The breakfast is good, more than just danishes and toast, but when I went, nothing was stocked — — employee had to refill the waffle batter, milk, fruit, plates and juice. The room is run down — furniture worn out, shower rod falling out of wall. I thought great deal but realized the amenities aren't there. It's only ok deal in a rough neighborhood.

I do not recommend staying at this hole in the wall. My family and I had the worst experience we've ever had at a hotel and here's why: So we planned a trip to visit Waverly Hills about 15 min from the hotel and decided to call to book the hotel a WEEK in advance to guarantee a room since we were driving 12HRS coming from TX. When I called to check pricing for ONE NIGHT they told me it would be $82, then when my cousin called they told her $85… she confronted the lady about the price change and she agreed to match the price the lady told me originally. (sounds like they were just making up their own price). She decided to book the room anyways, and was told we would be able to check in 11AM Friday morning. On the way to KY from Dallas we called to double check everything and make sure we had the right address to find out we wouldn't even be able to check in until 2PM (another change) however did say they could try to have it ready sooner. We arrived about 11AM and let the lady know we were here. She said it wasn't ready due to the people just leaving but we could leave a number and she would call as soon as it was. We decided to leave and come back about 30 min later in which the lady came out to the parking lot to let us know it was ready for check in. My cousin and I got out of the car to go check in and was told it would be $116.00 (another change) … at this point I'm very upset because we have driven so far, booked in advance and STILL having issues.

Unfriendly, rude and confrontational staff. Filthy rooms. Beyond unsatisfactory conditions. The general manager was incompetent and unable to communicate without shouting and cursing. Avoid at all costs. You would find better accommodations in a dumpster. Amazing that this place stays in business with such poor leadership.

Pretty standard cheap hotel. The elevator and third floor were really smelly. Stank of cigarettes and a skunk odor. Room was decent. You get what you pay for.

Standing water in the tub upon check in. Bathroom sink would barely drain. What appeared to be mold spots on the ceiling. Hair in the ice bucket. Stains on the curtains.

It was all very good, breakfast was quaint but top notch. All the soap is liquid, a nice touch. The rooms are slightly cramped and no cot was available.

Wi-Fi sucks, a/c unit is very noisy, room could be alot cleaner, not alot of TV channels. Price of room should be half. The younger guy working the front desk is friendly and polite.

After renting the room fully for the spa tub ONLY to find out that it doesn't work. Then we we spoke to the front desk clerk he proceed to say that he didn't know of someone had told me. Umm… hello if you had I wouldn't be in the room. Refused to give refund or another room at same price. Not happy and will not be ever staying there again.

I visited this inn in Shively. The rooms appear to be clean and we'll maintained. I just slept so didn't have too much of an experience. All around average as far as I can tell. Nothing horrible or fantastic abut my visit.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Short drive to airport or downtown.

The hotel was as expected. The front desk worker was very friendly and I was pleased with the quality of their Wi-Fi. Room was kept clean and well stocked. Very good for a basic overnight stay when traveling.

Enjoyed our extended visit. Customer service the BEST I've experienced. Owners were very helpful, and courteous which is unusual! Rooms are VERY spaceous, clean and nice clean bathrooms with plenty of counter top space! I enjoyed my stay VERY MUCH and hats off to all the employee's that made our stay so wonderful at the Stewart's Ave Louisville Kentucky.

At one point this hotel used to be a Best Western which was managed much better. Now this hotel has falling through the cracks on every level.

Small pool only 4 ft deep, the breakfast sucked, and the cable has only 25 channels with poor Wi-Fi signal.

There is definitely NO hotel here. Kthx.
