Negatives: I booked here after seeing all the comments on how clean the hotel was. Our room was not as clean as I would prefer. No bedbugs from what I could tell by checking, but the caulk in the shower was dirty. The grout on the bathroom floor wasn't clean. There was a spot on the bedding. And there was dust on the surfaces. Positives: Breakfast was nice in the morning and my husband and daughter had the pool to themselves.

Clean room, comfortable bed and great location. Typical hotel breakfast selections and quality, average insulation meaning you can hear neighbors, TVs, doors opening and closing but if you travel often you already know to expect it. Elevator door needs maintenance as it seems to stick upon opening and noisy so it's a little scary. Nothing that would keep us from returning and it's certainly better than the other choices the town has to offer. Cost a bit more but in my opinion it was worth it. You are in walking distance of several places to eat and a bowling alley/fun center as well as a bank. Access to the interstate is 5 mins away.

The Holiday inn Hotel in Glasgow was Easy to find. The customer service was incredible and extremely welcoming. They had breakfast offered which my family and I gladly took part in. The rooms were comfortable, very comfortable. They had an indoor swimming pool and indoor gym offered to guest. All around we were all very satisfied with our trip here!

A very nice mid range hotel. The rooms are spacious as well as clean. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast is quite good. A decent hotel for the price. I would stay here again if I am in the area.

OUTSTANDING experience! Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in (and I have traveled quite a bit. ) I could have used the bathtub faucet to put on my make-up! Very nice breakfast buffet. The staff was so nice; friendly and helpful.

Picked this hotel for a Mammoth Cave visit. A little out of the way but worth it! Brand New. Nice decor. Close to food. Straight shot to the park.

Always great beds, new building or very newly remodeled… Always a great stay. Breakfast is always miles ahead of other hotel chains. First search in any area is always for a Holiday Inn Express.

Very clean and new looking. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Very comfy beds. Swimming pool area was clean and kept up. Would have been nice to have a hot tub, but no biggie. The only thing was every time we got on the elevator it sounded like it was screaming at us. Maybe give it some oil or something to quiet it down, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. Would definitely stay here again!

We were able to check in late, room was very clean, bathroom was perfect, breakfast was so good, and staff was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to others!

Well we booked a room for our wedding night two weeks before our wedding date. Everything went as planned until the morning of our wedding and thats when decide to call and tell us they dont rent to locals. Front staff was rude and not helpful in trying to rectify the situation. Had to make last minte plans for somewhere else. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone again based on horrible policys and terrible customer service. Ill make sure to let everyone know!

If I could give this hotel no stars I would. I have a disability and travel with a service dog. My party, of three rooms, check in for two nights. First night was a complete disaster trying to check in. One from our party had to pay for a room that had already been paid for as the desk insisted it wasn't paid for. So there is one refund we will be chasing. Night two we return to the hotel to find they have shut the keys off to all three rooms because they have a no pet policy. I remind him with the dogs ID that he is a service animal and therefore allowed regardless of their personal rules (see Americans with Disabilities Act) they tell me that I am no longer welcome at the hotel AND neither is the rest of my party we have to leave. This is three separate rooms all being asked to leave because of my service animal. Then in walks the Glasgow Police… they called the police on all of us to escort us out. We were not loud or aggressive in any way. So to add it up we paid for 4 rooms one night, 3 rooms tonight (but had to leave) and hundreds of additional dollars in pet fees (all of which cannot be charged under the ADA. ) Meeting with attorney and filing discrimination against Holiday Inn Express… DO NOT STAY HERE.

The customer service was really good, and the room was newly remodeled. We completely enjoy this hotel.

Rooms are nice! Employees are friendly and very helpful. Pool is refreshing. Breakfast menu needs some variety. Some potatoes, hash browns or grits would be nice and maybe some citrus. Laundry room could use an additional set of washer and dryers. If you have problems after hours and need some assistance you are out of luck. You can either leave a vm or email the manager. I lost an expensive item in the room and reported it to the front who told me I could email the manager. I have yet to hear from him. That was 5 days ago. Communication between employees could use some help. They are all very friendly and strive to be accommodating but sometimes information is not passed down. Elevator door needs some servicing!

Service is nice and polite. Breakfast is as expected. The only improvements I would suggest would be quieter elevator doors (the literally scream) and softer bed sheets.

Just checked in after our work group switched from the old local Comfort Inn motel to this brand new, beautiful work of form+function comfort art. Wireless internet speed is comparatively lightspeed here. Instead of one of those old motel “coffeemakers” there’s a Keurig in the room. Better TV, furnishings, everything. Quiet so far. Standard hotel air conditioner linked to a wall unit control. Lots of storage & guest space. Definitely much better than average, and positively a paradise compared to the Comfort Inn here in Glasgow (tho there were nice front desk people there). Laundry machines on first floor. Gym. Indoor heated pool. Nice.

I'm on my last night of a 2 week stay here. Overall the place is very nice. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the girls that work the closing shift. They always seem to worried with what's on their phone or flirting with the guests to do anything. I've come down a few times to buy something and the way they act is it's a major inconvenience for them to have to come help you. They also have a seriously hard time answering the phone. I gave up on getting a wake up call after 3 days and multiple attempts each day of calling down and getting no answer from them. Yesterday I had to call the hotel from my cell just to get through and it took them almost 5 minutes to answer. The morning front desk staff however is great and I give extra kudos to the ladies who work the breakfast area. They are always so welcoming and helpful. I will say the hotel is very clean and the housekeeping crew has been great making sure myself and the other people I'm traveling with have everything we need from them. Fix the ladies on the closing shift.

Really nice affordable hotel in a convenient location. I usually have a few small complaints about every hotel, but other than a noisy elevator everything was great.

Overall a pleasant stay, very nice facility. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. The kerug with good coffee and bath and body work soap was a plus. The draw backs where the following: pool was not clean, staff was often not at the front desk or easy to locate for amenities (example extra towels), and wireless network did not support the number of people checked in. I was never able to get connect (no ip addresses available) and a work project was impacted. Would still stay again.

Standard room, clean and comfortable. Wifi weak but wired ethernet connection was phenomenal.

Was an awesome night sleep. The rooms were clean and the staff was very wonderful to my girlfriend and I. Would deffinitly stay again if I ever find myself back in nowhere Kentukey.

I stayed here recently on 7/17/17 for a business trip. Nice hotel however I woke up to tiny ants on the desk, table, some in the bed, on the floor and in the bathroom. I even had one in the shower. I had to take my suitcase and put it on the bathroom sink. I was killing ants in my personal stuff, in gifts I purchased and in my paperwork. I had to check out much earlier, like 7am earlier than I planned because I couldn't sit there as these ants were running around. I went downstairs spoke to the desk clerk and told him of the issue. He said you will have to call the hotel after 9am and speak to the manager. I couldn't of course because I was working — on a business trip so I told him I was going to call the next day. He told me that he'd call maintenance. Soon after that he was walking out and leaving for the day. It seemed to me that there was no concern or urgency just like my telephone call to the hotel manager who never called me back after I left a message to discuss my experience. I travel a lot for work and the Hilton is a place of preference. No longer after the customer service I received. Ridiculous that I had to deal with this. I totally understand things happen, but to be rude and not reply to me with an apology or anything is totally ignorant. There was no food around or any place that I could see where they came from. I was so embarrassed as I was sitting at breakfast someone pointed out that I had a dead ant on my white shirt.

My family and I stayed here one night on our way home for vacation. The room was spacious and fit my 5 person family nicely for a reasonable rate. We also had a delicious continental breakfast the next morning.

The room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast bar was good as well.

Booked online and requested a corporate rate in comments. Apparently the rate can only be altered at a personal meeting with the General Manager who does not arrive until 9am, 2 hrs after I leave for work, …
On morning of departure I requested a copy of my Bill. I was told this was only available at checkout at which point my room key is deactivated. I mentioned that all other HIE hotels either put a copy under your door or hang a copy in a sleeve on the outside of the door. I was met with "This is our policy". Well, my policy is never to stop here again. I would much rather drive the 30 mins to Bowling Green where you get a much better class of Service and experience at the HIE.

Nice, new hotel. Really clean, large room with a comfortable bed. Good location for getting to the few restaurants in Glasgow. Fitness center with some dumb bells along with the normal elliptical and exercise bike. Decent size pool that I didn't get to use. Overall great place to stay!

There are some very positive items to note.
1) Cheryl, in the breakfast area, greets everyone as tho she is welcoming them into her home. The area is kept clean, food variety is good, a complimentary USA Today — nice way to start the day. She even offered me a tray to take my fresh cinnamon rolls back to the room.
2) Speaking of the room — it was large, lots of storage, bed and pillows über comfy, fridge and microwave, very quiet. Halls very quiet, even right by the elevator.
Fun lighting fixtures and decor.
3) Housekeeping — when they DID clean the room, they did a fine job. But here's a "head's up". If you place a "do not disturb" sign on your door, no matter how early it is removed, they have passed your room up for that day. The first day we got caught off guard when they just never bothered to make up the room. We tried notifying the front desk that we were leaving the room, had removed the sign, and could they please clean the room. No dice. We tried mentioning the lack of cleaning to the night manager so that housekeeping could be notified that we DID absolutely want the room cleaned the next day — just not before we were awake.
The only solution that got results was tipping the Housekeeping staff as we were on the way out of our room for the day. They cleaned our room on those days! Just don't hang out that "do not disturb sign" because it is their free pass to skip you.

Very new motel. Nicely appointed rooms. Near mammoth cave Typical noise level. Very clean bathrooms. Attentive and polite staff. Excellent free breakfast, both hot and cold offerings. Also to go bag and drinks.

Seriously, worst part of the stay is finding a place to safely turn left onto the main road. Hotel and staff are fantastic. Everything is incredibly new, but very clean also. Well maintained. Our favorite place to stay when making frequent trips to visit family in the area.

Brand new Hotel, alone that's a plus, upon arrival I was greeted by Lexie which remembered speaking with me on the phone. I couldn't not asked for better customer service from Lexie and Markita. Great customer service from their hearts. Kudos to them. Hotel and facilities awesome. Already saved as one of my favorites Hotels. Definitely coming back.

I have been trying to make reservations but cannot get it done. Waited on phone for reservations for 20 minutes so called Glasgow. A nice-young lady was helping me then I was cut off. Lady named Rose came on and said she was using the computer now so the girl oils not finish now. Ask to speak to a supervisor but could not get one at that time. I can find somewhere else.

I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night and was checked in promptly. I wasn't super keen on having a 1st floor room as I prefer the upper levels, but I could survive 1 night. It was disappointing to find out I was put in a handicap room though. I didn't request that and was never notified in advance that that was the chosen room. Anyway, it was very clean (as was the rest of what I saw of the hotel) and the Wi-Fi worked well. The AC unit was pretty quiet and keeping the room at a constant, comfortable level was easy. I heard zero noise from outside and also nothing from other rooms. Other than being a handicap room, the only other issues were having a 2-inch spider visit me in the bathroom and the iron leaking all over the place. Checkout was simple although they either don't offer the quick checkout (slide receipt under door) or they forgot to do it. I did ask about being placed in a handicap room and she said that was the only room available. The half-empty parking lot suggested otherwise but it's OK. I survived.

Wonderful folks, super experience. Spotless, flexible, equipped with everything you will need, if you need to stay somewhere no-stress no-surprises and sleep safe and well at night with an included full breakfast bar every morning this is your place.
