The hotel was not good. The room smelled, the water pressure was non-existent and the tub was just shy of a death trap due to the slippery bottom. We stayed because we have a pet but I think sleeping in the car would have been better. I do not recommend staying here.

We recently stayed here during a family vacation in 3 separate rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floors. The rooms were large and pretty clean. We were all happy with the interiors of the rooms we stayed in during our visit (website stated it was recently renovated). Each was equipped with 2 TVs, 2 separated sink areas, a mini fridge, & microwave, overall the rooms were perfect for us. The elevator location was not the best when using the cart filled with luggage for 7 people and a dog. They had also just CEMENTED THE HOT TUB! Which for me was very disappointing as the website still listed it as an amenity and I personally enjoy a nice hot soak after what is usually a long day of driving when on a family road trip like we were. The pool was open and very enjoyable with extra towels available. Staff, Lobby & Rooms A+ / Overall B-

Stayed hear nearly a month while I was working in the area and I will say it is one of the nicest I have stayed at. Rooms were beautiful, TV was great, Wi-Fi was fairly consistent, loads of options for take out or delivery, very clean and staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions. Few things I should mention: Hallways and the elevator are a bit small, so it is a little bit of a pain to traverse. There is no vending in the building although there is a snack bar near the front to buy from. There was one time my key stopped working, but the manager fixed it and I did not have any repeat issues. There is a lot of noise if you stay on the second level, but never had too many issues with the third level. Overall would recommend.

I really liked this place. It put La Quinta back on the options list for me for places to stay. The staff were really pleasant. There were warm cookies on arrival. The elevator was a little small for maneuvering the carts, but that wasn't a huge deal. The beds were decent. One of my two beds had hair in it (hence four stars), but I didn't make a fuss as there was a second bed that was cleaned nicely. The room was the size I would expect for this type of hotel. Thanks for the nice stay!

We booked it because they took pets and we took our two dogs but as soon as we opened the room it smelled like a litter box. We received a discount but no other rooms available. Also, the breakfast did not include sausage because it was the weekend and it is only served during the week. Doesn't make sense. 2 out of 5 stars.

I always stay at Laquita when traveling for work, and every time I have stayed I loved it. However this past time was HORRIBLE. I had to change to 4 different, 4 different times. I know I probably sound needy but the first room had hair and makeup on the pillow case, showing me this room wasn’t cleaned. I switched to a different room and the fridge was broke, I found out the day after. I had put left overs in there and woke up the smell was awful. I then got another room and after I settled in found out the toilet wouldn’t flush. I told the front desk before going to work and came back, they said it was fixed. Went up and thought it was come to found out I learned the hard way it wasn’t really fix. Switched to a different room. That room was nice no issues but it was a horrible week with changing the rooms and the morning front desk clerk didn’t even seem to care. So I won’t be staying at another Laquita. I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

I chose this hotel for my travels over similar hotels all because it had a hot tub. After 8 hours in the car I was really looking forward to a good soak. The hot tub jets were broken and we were offered no compensation. I guess next time I will stay in the nicer hotel with no hot tub.

The staff are super nice. Our room was impeccably clean, organized, and cozy. So much better than the motel 6 across the street! The amentities are amazing. Couldn’t find anything wrong with our stay.

Check-in: I reserved my room through another website. When I had arrived for check-in, I thought the desk clerk did a good job checking us in. They provided us with enough information to get through our night i. E. Pool hours, breakfast time, etc. Room: I had a deluxe room which seemed well taken care of through the years of many people passing through. The room had a seperate living area with a couch (pull out bed) and flat screen tv, a wet bar sink, bathroom with toliet and shower, a separate sink outside of the bathroom, a sleeping area with two queen beds, a second tv, microwave, and mini fridge, desk, ac/heating unit, closet with a extra blanket and iron with ironing board. Room issues: The mini fridge does it job but there is no freezer compartment. Couch with pull out bed-the matress is a bit thin and springy. We used the extra blanket as a matress cover since the room did not provide one. Bathroom-Yes it seems a bit dated but it is not a concern for me. The concern is the slippery tub, with a combination of water and soap. To counter the the situation, I used a towel to provide some sort of foot traction for my child. Pool-The water looked a bit murky. Pool towels are available at the desk but once they run out, you may get floor towels. Other informatiom: Laundry Room is a bit dated but does gets the job done. It is coin operated so bring some quarters.

Room was ok. Fridge didn't work and the A/C sorta sucked, but the beds we're nice and the breakfast was surprisingly good. Would stay again if it was a good deal.

Located just off the highway and near plenty of food destinations. Rooms are nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast leaves much to be desired but all in all good stay.

Pet friendly, no charge, under 50 lbs. Always clean rooms, good free breakfast, very reasonably priced. Anyone traveling with a dog needs to stay here!

I like how they have complimentary breakfast. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size. The cleanliness was average because there was a stain on the bed sheets and the top of the bed frame was very dusty.

2 night stay The check-in process was quick and easy. The suite was spacious The bed was comfortable I would Have rated this 5 stars, however… Extremely early in the morning (maybe 6am… the sun wasn't up) while we were still sleeping, we woke up to a cleaning lady putting new towels in our bathroom and my boyfriend had to actually tell her to get out of our room. For the creep out factor… I dropped 3 stars. We'll be back in in a few weeks, but I am looking for a different hotel in hopes of staying somewhere where we don't wake up to a maid tip toeing around in our room.

I would like to thank that staff and kind gentleman at La Quinta for retrieving and safely keeping my laptop bag, which leapt from our rental SUV in a sincere suicide parking lot attempt. This grave issue was not discovered until we reached our end destination half an hour away. The front desk staff was very kind and tried to reach me at an old phone number on my business card attached to the bag. I also enjoyed the firm beds. It was so nice to enjoy a mattress that wasn’t saggy. Thanks, La Quinta!

The food here is horrible. I have stayed in other La Quinta Inn but this is the worst I have seen. The hotel smell musty and the AC hardly cool off my room. Would not stay here again.

Well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and the housekeeping staff is excellent. The vending leaves much to be desired. There's only one soda machine and it's broke. The refrigerator that the desk sells from is pricey and has no Dr Pepper. : — (There are places where there used to be machines on each floor, but alas, they are no more. There are just several places where they could have taken one more step and been Great, but didn't.

Very nicely furnished. Clean and very quiet. Hannah, the front desk clerk recommend a great locally owned BBQ place for dinner. Only minor quibble was the older AC unit had trouble keeping up with the high humidity. But otherwise we had a great stay.

We were very late arriving but the folks behind the desk seemed to understand. They checked us in and even gave a discount, senior, I didn't have to mention. My tiredness may have contributed to that. My husband is handicapped and they found us a room close to the elevator. The room was very clean and the bed was perfect. The room held in the darkness for a great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this LaQuinta in Elizabethown KY! Great folks and great lodging.

If you are traveling for work keep going find another hotel, this hotel may be good for a nights stay but anything longer and you'll be furious. One of their maids stole from my room. It took 3 days of going up to the desk before they informed me that the maid walked out when she was confronted but they're "still investigating it". Finally I get a call saying if I can provide a receipt they will reimburse me. I think your maid walking out was enough proof that she took something that didn't belong to her. Guest service is non existent at this hotel and Breakfast is a joke, food has no flavor. Luckily my company has decided to reimburse me for my items We will just not be sending our trainers/trainees to this location any longer. There's a holiday inn close by that we will continue to use.

The room was big and clean. However, the walls are very thin and the noise in neighboring rooms and in the hallway were loud. That and the hard pillows and mattress didn't make for easy sleeping. If you want more than one cup of coffee in the room you'll need to go to the front desk. The free breakfast is not bad, with waffles, cereals, breads and yogurt. Beverages of milk, coffee, and apple and orange juices (although orange juice wasn't too good). Pool and whirlpool looked clean although we didn't use them during our short stay. Parking is problematic on the weekend evenings as the hotel is in the same parking lot as a restaurant.

I have never felt so unwelcome. The staff was very rude at check in and throughout my 2 day stay. The man at the desk in the evenings was very disrespectful. I would have went somewhere else but everything was booked.
The hotel wasn't even that clean and it is over priced! I will never stay there again and advise others to go somewhere else.

This is a great place. We have a great room and they are very friendly. I am a smoker, there is no smoking rooms however they gave us a room close for me to smoke. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Service was adequate. Room smelled musty, like wet cardboard when we arrived. When I woke up, I noticed that the bed smelled like cat pee. Too late to do anything about it then… If you travel with a dog, you need a pet-friendly hotel, and you get what you get, but this was the worst in a while. Breakfast was okay, glad to have hard boiled eggs that were cooked correctly.

The hotel room was fine, it was different from the Hampton Inn I usually frequent. I liked the service, and that there were plenty of pillows on the bed. However the room seemed a little dirty, the air conditioning was loud, and the door was paper thin. Overall however for the $40 less than Hampton Inn wanted and the better location (right off the highway) I was happy to have stayed for a night.

Breakfast wasn't as good as others, such as, Hampton. Room smelled a little stale and the air conditioner was severely underpowered. Bed was very comfortable though.

We got this room with our member points. It cost 11, 000. The last roomwe stayed in was great & cost the same amount. When we got up the room, it was clean, the beds felt so comfy but the air didn't get our room really cool at all. This room had a fridge & microwave which was awesome because I am traveling with kids & I love being able to put their drinks & snacks in the fridge instead of running to my car & getting everything out of the ice chest. My main complaint was our air conditioner. The rooms look like they are trying to renovate or just recently finished, not sure. But there are some things the could improve, like our shower head, it worked but the ring at the base was just hanging out lol & you could see into the shower wall. Monor eye sore, but the breakfast was awesome. Wide variety & plenty there.

Debbie at the front desk was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good sized pool and spa. Quiet and peaceful place to rest.

When we checked in, the hotel was so crisp and clean that we thought it had just opened. I was shocked to find out that it had opened 11 years ago (although they did just do some upgrades/renovations earlier this year). The staff was friendly, the property was clean (and 100% smoke-free), and the three-queen suite for great for our large family!

Elizebethtown La Quinta inn seemed nice at first glance. Sadly the marinara (I hope that's what it was) on the bathroom floor, the dirt and grunge on the floor in front of the sink, and not having any hot water for my bath was what did me in. The bed was comfortable tho.

I stayed here for a total of 7 nights in 2 weeks for training. Do not stay here, especially if you get an even room number. Between the megabus dropoffs and truck and rv parking on this side, you will not be able to sleep. I've complained several times and every time they claimed to not have another room. I am cutting my training short and going home tomorrow due to sleep deprivation. The bathrooms are dirty too. The showers could use better cleaning.

My family and I have stayed in multiple La Quinta's throughout our travels and this one is by far the WORST I have ever been duped into staying at. The whole hotel smelled like urine, the place was dingy and dated. I can't believe we spent one hundred and fifty dollars per room to stay here one night and get basically no sleep. The bed was lumpy, pillows were flat, air was stuffy, stale and the temperature of the rooms is poorly regulated. If you have any other choice, go there. I am truly disappointed with the status of this Hotel.

This Laquinta is well maintained and I am certain with the remodeling it is undergoing will continue to be lovely for years to come.

Came in off the road and the reception was awesome. Very clean rooms.

We had 3 rooms and 2 in our party got bitten by bedbugs. When reported they suggested we brought them with us, offered to take our number down and CALL US after they searched the room thouroghly. They gave us a refund only AFTER one in our party tossed up his room and found 2 to physically SHOW them to the workers (i guess fresh bites werent enough). We stayed 1/7/2012.

My husband and I stayed her after our wedding before we left for our honeymoon. The hotel was very clean. We had absolutely no problem with our room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when we were having our guest book their rooms under our wedding party, they lost one of the reservations. However, they were still able to give our guest a room at the group discount price. Interestingly, we called to confirm everyone the week before and they had everyone's room. Also, they said they were giving us a group discount, but you could still book it on their website for cheaper if you have AAA. I was a little upset about that. Either way, it was still affordable. Overall, I would stay here again.
