Good pool with great hot tub.

Clean rooms, great continental breakfast, easy access from interstate lots of restaurants close.

We stayed 4 nights. It was a very bad experience. The first morning there was no hot water to take a shower. We were told from the front desk to wait 5 minutes. That didn’t bring the hot water. The noise from outside that was heard in the room kept us awake almost all night.
The bed was squeaking every time you moved.
We where told the manager will call us to talk about our complains. He didn’t! Maybe it is not important enough for him.

The absolute worst customer service experience from the senior case management department, the operations managers department, and the Holiday Inn manager. Nothing but the run around they like to call “our policy. ” IHG does NOT value its customers or IHG members at ALL! After a horrible experience with my stay and the staff (who one member was arrested during my stay) at the Holiday Inn in Overland Park KS, I was contacted by Blanche, an Operations Manager, and promised a follow up for resolution within 24 hours. I never heard back from her. I contacted customer care 12 days later to check on the resolution, and was told by a senior case manager that Blanche was not available today, she was not sure if she (Blanche) will be in the office tomorrow, and she is the only person within the entire IHG company that can assist me and once again I will have to wait until she contacts me! All I’m asking for is the “true hospitality” that IHG mentioned on their website.

Rude Staff! I have stayed in 15+ IHG locations around the Uniteds States and this was by far the worst hotel experience that I have ever had. To start it off we pull up after a 4 hr drive and our room had been cancelled and given to someone else. I inquire as to why and was told my card was declined (Later we found out this had happened to other guest also). The Rude front desk employee (Jennifer) Did not come to the counter for 10-15min after our arrival. Jennifer immediately informed me that my room was given away and that it was my fault and there was nothing she was going to do about it!. After 30min of her blaming me and being extremely rude. I contacted IHG customer service. IHG customer service attempted to find me a room in another IHG location. The Location they sent me to was 40 min away in another state. After paying 20 bucks for parking we attempt to get our room. It is now 1:15am. 1hr 45 later due to a system crash we final get our room (3am). The cost was 50 bucks higher than my original room And 50min away from my daughters softball game. We had to be the park at 6:45am to warm up so me my wife my 2 yr old daughter and my 16 yr old who was playing in one of the biggest softball tournaments of the yr all received 2 or 3 hr sleep for $200 Bucks. Now if thats not enough the next day I speak with the GM and he makes every excuse in the book explaining how it not his fault or the hotels faults.

Easy to access from road. The rooms were very clean, fresh, roomy. Beds extremely comfortable. The swimming pool was way to salty, but it fit our needs. The breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Different variety of items for every person. Will for sure stay again.

This is a nice motel with a clean and comfortable room. The check in and out went smoothly. The reason for the low review is that at 8:30 in the morning, housekeeping knocked on the door and because we didn't answer fast enough the lady opened the door. I was shocked to see the door open and tried to call out that we were in the room still but she proceeded to open the door and come in. I quickly walked to the door to keep her from coming all the way inside. I assumed she would see me and leave but she didn't. She kept asking me when we would be checking out. I'm not sure why she needed to know this at 8:30 on a Saturday morning but I hope it isn't hotel policy. Otherwise, it was a nice place.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn the past two nights. The room was nice and clean. The hallways didn't smell strange and we couldn't hear our neighbors. I especially liked the bath and body works bathroom stuff. The breakfast was nice too.

This is by far the best HI we've stayed in. Friendly, clean, spacious, updated. The shower was a walk in with no curtain and we loved it. The bed was comfortable, carpet was clean, breakfast was good, room was spacious. We were surrounded by shops and eats. Loved this hotel!

The room was clean and the staff was nice and willing to work out any issues you might be having.

The hotel is nice, clean, good breakfast. An employee needs some classes on guest relations and accommodating people with disabilities. The manager quickly resolved the problem, therefore I would return to this hotel.

Nice place to stay. Lots of new shopping centers with restaurants near by. Beds are comfortable. Not a fan of the pillows. The rooms are big and updated. Gym is small but they have treadmill, bike and elliptical. They also have free weights and a weight bench. The pool is a little small but it is indoor and salt water. Breakfast is pretty good. Small little “store” inside. Staff is very comfortable in talking to you. In fact maybe a little too comfortable, in regards to telling customers about how their employees aren’t the greatest and sometimes using foul language in casual conversations. Overall not a bad hotel choice at all.

We loved our stay overnight here. Wonderful soft bed, incredible walk in shower (with an awesome shower head on it), and everyone was very pleasant. Would definitely visit again!

Very nice and quiet hotel. Great location, right off the highway, plenty of food choices, and shopping near by. Front desk staff really nice and helpful. We had an issue with the room and it was fixed immediately. Enjoyed my stay and if in Overland Park again I will stay here.

Good-sized, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast is a bit basic (could do with more fresh fruit) but otherwise good. Facilities (laundry, gym, small pool) make this hotel great for longer stays.

We were doing a work event at Dave & Busters and decided to get a room across the street. Room was nice, clean, and cozy. We were not bothered by the Noice of any other guests. Walk in shower was my favorite, very relaxing. Service was spectular and since we're reward members, we got an upgrade to a suite on check-in. Would recommend for location and ammenities.

The room was amazing. It had an awesome walk in shower. It is close to a lot of restaurant options and other things to do.

Rooms were very nice and shower was awesome, although sheets could use a little softener ;-). Breakfast was decent, but the biscuits were so hard, I couldn't eat the biscuits with gravy. My knife broke trying to cut one. Lol But overall. Very nice hotel.

My stay at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Overland Park, was very pleasing. Me and my colleagues stay there every year after our work Christmas party. It's a great place to walk to from the Overland Park Convention Center after having a few too many drinks. I can't wait to stay there this next January and years to come.

I can't describe how great the stay was at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites this last week. We were in town for a wedding next door. The wedding began outside the hotel and the woman at the front desk was very awesome at answering questions. From the time my wife and I arrived at the hotel, we felt like this was the hotel we would be using from here on out on our Kansas City trips. The breakfast was very good. Warm omelets on some days, sausage, bacon, toast, pancakes, fruit, bagels… it was all there and quite impressive. The room was clean when we arrived, very well maintained throughout our stay. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in the Overland Park area.

It pretty much does what it says on the box. It's a clean hotel, and they treated us well, giving us an extra two hours past checkout time as we waited for some vehicle repairs. Would stay here again.

Hotel was clean & the staff was very friendly. We stayed Friday & Saturday. It was a restless stay… you could hear the doors slam shut all night/morning. There were kids running and screaming down the hallway at 7am Sunday morning.

Clean rooms. Friendly front desk staff. Great snacks for purchase. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Stayed one night on our way through KC.

I like the way they designed the bathroom with a nice sized shower. The breakfast was enjoyable. And everyone was so polite.

Beautiful property, excellent staff. Very clean and modern. The staff was wonderful, and even apologized for the amount of kids in the hotel (Must have been a ball tournament) and told me they have a zero tolerance policy for noise, which I didn't have to use, but was nice to know about.

We loved this hotel! We got it for a night away from the kiddos. It was clean and so nice. They had a keurig in the room as well as a mini fridge to put our leftovers. We got the suite that had a couch and little table to eat at. Affordable and the breakfast was great. Service and staff was friendly. And its a great location with restaurants all around! :) we had Panda express!

This was a fantastic place to stay! We were three for a soccer tournament and the hotel and staff were very welcoming. Excellent breakfast! Super comfortable beds! Clean rooms and the pool and hot tub were perfect temperature. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy access to the hotel, very quiet as it is set back from the main thoroughfare, but highly visible. Probably the cleanest HIE I have stayed in across the nation, and as a Platinum Elite Member, I've stayed at my fair share. All staff members, with the exception of one, were approachable, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Day shift desk personnel, so very personable and informative. And clean! Did I mention how clean HIE Overland Park, KS is? Rooms, dining and kitchen area, lobby, hallways! This is a stellar Holiday Inn Express; Thank you for a great stay!

Clean and with breakfast acceptable.

Hotel staff was friendly, hotel was clean. But some of the guests were a little loud walking down our hallway. Had alot of great options for breakfast! Would stay there again if in the area.

Great friendly service, the room was amazing and spotless. Love the traditional HIExpress breakfast! Also the sweet shoppe with the snacks and toiletries was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms was great. Most of the rooms were booked up so we were not able to get one one with two beds. But a fold out couch was available along with a bed. So it worked out. The bathroom and shower was very nice. Tables and chairs were in the room. Bed was very comfy. Was not there long to enjoy any services but the stay was pleasant.

The place is pretty nice. It seems fairly new. Nice beds. Free breakfast, I would avoid the pancakes and stick with cinnamon rolls.

Super clean, modern updated rooms. Would recommend. And pancake dispensing machine…

King room. Very spacious. Nice clear desk area to work from. Decent breakfast. Great location, less than a mile from my remote office. All kinds of eateries and stores within walking distance: related, PLENTY of sidewalks, making walking pleasant and easy. Personable, knowledgeable desk staff and a pretty amazing shower (walk in, tiled job. Quite lovely/contemporary). Would definitely recommend/stay here again.

Very clean hotel Ammad at the front desk was incredible the three times I have stayed there very clean hotel entire staff great everyone from the maintenance man to the maids and the guy cooking breakfast friendly and accommodating excellent location highly recommend this hotel Holiday Inn should be proud of this hotel.

Rooms are nice, quiet&clean. Pool, fitness, laundry are avalible & clean but nothing special.

The hotel room and common areas were extraordinarily clean; the hotel room's size was also perfect! In addition, the hotel breakfast was delicious. My sole complaint is that the front desk associate, Milo, was very unfriendly. He never acknowledged our comings/goings with a salutation or even made eye-contact. In addition, upon check-in, I initially misinterpreted the hotel chain's policy, thinking that the military/federal civilian rate was applicable for both official business and leisure. Milo informed me that it was not applicable for leisure travel, which I readily accepted and made no complaint of. But, upon inquiring whether a late checkout would be available on Sun, 13 Mar, Milo coldly informed me that he doesn't provide that information. I would need to speak with whomever is on-shift on Sunday. His matter-of-fact demeanor was unfriendly, inhospitable, and unprofessional. Had there been another available hotel, I would've declined H. I. Express' service and moved on.

Good service, breakfast was okay, eggs were cold.

I was able to check in early, which was great. The room was nice and I enjoyed having a corner room. The staff here was very helpful they gave me some good recommendations for places to have a nice dinner.

We didn't stay here but I wanted to give Angie (Angela) a special shout out for being so wonderful and helpful! She called all over the place to help us try and find a room last minute when they were booked. She went above and beyond for us and we weren't even guests there. Thank you!

Great customer service. John at the front desk was very helpful. I had a problem with my reservations as it seems I was directed to a third party when originally booking the hotel. John called the third party and informed them of the problem. He then called me back with the information necessary to make the changes, including the prompts so I wouldn't have to wait on line. John made these calls immediately and my reservations was changed without any problems.

Very nice NEW clean hotel, Customer service was great and very quick, I forgot my shaving cream and they gave me a brand new one for free. Only thing I would change would be price. Was kinda high for a hotel that had maybe 4-5 cars in the parking lot and was prob only 10-15% full.
