Gabe and the service team were like family. Top of the local area by far!

The room was very hot. The A/C hardly worked. Had to drive to a family members house to get a fan just to get some sleep. The bathroom heat was even worse. Even at 2 in the morning the room A/C hardly blowing cold. We wont ever stay with you again.

We rented a room, thinking we’d need a room while my cat was under care at nearby K State Vet Hospital. My cat died unexpectedly, and I no longer needed the room. When I reached out to them, they immediately, with no hassle, reimbursed me. Thank you for being compassionate.

A fantastic hotel with even better service! My wife, triplets, puppies, and I were ousted due to an evacuation order thanks to the flooding in Manhattan, so we got a hotel room here until it was safe to go back. Not only were we greeted with clean rooms and friendly hospitality, but Tabitha at the front desk gave us a reduced rate, which was unimaginably kind and helped us immensely through our stressful time. It really shows how the manhattan community comes together to help one another :)

PAWSOME! Most hotels that allow pets are pet "tolerable". This hotel is pet FRIENDLY. They even had a treat and water bowl at check in desk. Rooms on one side of the hotel overlook a lovely city park with tons of shade tees and great sidewalks and a playground. Our room was quite large and well laid out. Number 202, on the end of the hallway. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room but it was quite hot that day. Bathtub and shower combo with outstanding water pressure. Above average amenities including shampoo and separate conditioner. Keurig coffee maker for individual servings was spot on. Nice size refrigerator. Convenient to downtown and the highway.

This hotel seemed just average during our overnight stay. Front desk was overly concerned with her phone during check-in. Bed was overly soft, but I still slept well. Ice machine on floor was broken. Breakfast was lacking; over cooked. Room was furnished by wedding party, but I personally would not pay that much for a room there.

Everything from start to finish was amazing! Had my daughters bachelorette party here and they had a room for the party and a shuttle to get us all around! The rooms were amazing and the staff is awesome! Made our weekend perfect!

If you ever come to Manhattan, just come to this hotel. You'll get amazing hospitality here. Jacob is very helpful and everyone's very friendly! I really enjoyed my stay here!

You might sleep good if your really tired. Other wise the mattresses are for yuppies and not fit for a lower class person like me to sleep on. On the other hand the big screen TV in the room serves as an excellent rack to hang and dry your bath towels on.

Quick check in, sufficient rooms. Had an issue with one of the rooms and able to change quickly. Really no issues at all, would come back!

Great place when travelling with dogs. The hotel is super pet friendly and accommodated our request for a ground floor room. There are grassy areas on the property and a small neighborhood park right across the street. Perfect and convenient for walking the dogs. The hotel and staff are lovely. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. There are a number of options at the free breakfast — cereal, muffins, yougurt, fruit, eggs, and waffles. I would highly recommended Parkwood to travelers with or without pets.

THIS LOCATION HAS BEDBUGS! *** Was having a great stay until I found 3 bedbugs within 5 minutes at 2am! Not good! Thankfully, the staff was very nice, but definitely will never ever be back.

Wonderful hotel with clean and spacious rooms. The beds are temperpedic and Soo comfortable. The hotel is very dog friendly and there is a park next door which is great for walks. The staff are very friendly which is the icing on the cake.

This place is Great! Staff was amazingly helpful for a last minute booking, they are great with dogs, and the beds are better than almost any I have ever slept on! I would readily suggest this place for anyone going through Kansas looking for places to stay!

Employees are very nice and helpful. Up to date rooms very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Large room. Good location. Has a park next door. And sightseeing near by.

I stay in MHK numerous times a year for KSU events and pet appointments at VHC. Normally, Hampton Inn-without pets or Holiday Inn-with pets. Morning of checkout, blow dryer didn't work. Asked for another blow dryer or room key to a room with working blow dryer. I was told NO. 'Can't do that'. I paid $129 and can't use a blow dryer?!?! I will go back to staying at Holiday Inn when in town for pet appointments.

Clean, nicely appointed room. Generous number of towels for two people. Complementary breakfast offered a nice variety. Location was ready to find and pleasantly located near a city park.

Amazing every time we have stayed!

They have really good bacon, and they have this handy little device that let's you eat in bed without getting crumbs all over the bed. Also, the bed was super comfy and molded to my body gloriously.

Everyone was helpful and answered any questions we had about the hotel or the services they provided.

Great hotel with excellent customer service!

This place was fabulous. We were in town for my grandmother's funeral. The staff learned this upon checkin. We went out to dinner and when we came back there was a complimentary fruit basket — a really nice and probably expensive one at that. The location is great — it's close to most of the hotspots around Manhattan. They have a free shuttle service that takes you anywhere in town. The complimentary breakfast went beyond what most hotels will have and was tasty each day. The room was pristine and updated. The beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and we really enjoyed the adjustable shower head. What set this place apart was the management. The whole staff was really friendly and professional. They provided so many things — there was even a HUGE bookcase of dvds to borrow. They had tv's in the lobby with the weather for the day and events around town. They truly thought of everything. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Manhattan or the surrounding area. I wish I had been there under better circumstances, but it was a great stay.

I had a cockroach fall onto my head in the middle of the night. Too bad. Too sad. No I am sorry, no discount, NOTHING! Good luck to you.

Exellent Stay! We stayed here during Family Weekend at K-State IF we needed anything at all everyone was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. My family usually bypass motel breakfast and go to a restaurant but we ate here both mornings. After the big game we wanted to have Pizza ready for the game goers in our group and ask if we could use the breakfast area and they were more than glad to let us do that. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. I will suggest this place to family and friends and will be back next year! GO CATS.

Booked almost a year in advance, received room across from elevators and vending machines. You can loudly hear everyone talking by those items. Same cost for rooms but received little sleep. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was good. Rooms were nice. Will not return as I really needed sleep which is why I get a 'bedroom'.

It's a confortable place. They offered me a special rate, but at the end they didin't respected it. The manager is always in a bad mood. You don't feel confortable with that. One important thing is not a chain hotel, you can not obtain any reward, that why decisions are made on manager's discretion.
