We're making plans to retrurn! The room was spacious, the beds were better than the beds we had the next 2 nights at a HIE and the breakfast was 100 times better than them as well. Older hotel but clean, great rate and super staff!

Affordable, nice and clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, and far enough away from the feed lot to avoid the smell! Plus the rooms are nicely decorated and very welcoming! Would definitely stay again!

What a great experience, my only complaint is that we were needing to quickly pass through to make it to our nephew's weddings. We will be back. It is located a little off from the highway and the rooms were beautiful, clean rooms, and locally owned motel-win/win!

What a great find! Picked it just driving through the area and didn’t expect much from the outside, but the rooms were surprisingly nice! Not dated at all! The price was fantastic and even included a great breakfast spread! Will definitely stay here again when making a MN to AZ trek!

It was a fantastic stay! The room was sooo big and we loved the oversized shower! It was so welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic! Biscuits and gravy with homemade apple streusel, hot coffee and juice was the perfect way to finish off our stay! Staff was super friendly and really personable.

We really enjoyed the accommodations and the extra friendly staff! would stay here again.

I can't say enough nice things about this little place. We happened upon it when we were road-weary and bone tired, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms were very clean, with lots of artistic, personal touches, and the hot breakfast was far better than you'd find in most places. There was also a nice-looking pool and gazebo area for picnicking, but we did not use either.

The owners are the nicest people, the employees are very helpful and accommodating. The beds are comfortable and CLEAN along with the rest of the rooms. Breakfast is also very good.

Clean, quiet and restful. Excellent water pressure for showers. Breakfast was great — biscuits and gravy, hash brown casserole, and peach breakfast bake with coffee, juice, cereal, and oatmeal available. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Made RV reservation here several months ago — received confirmation from them. Yesterday, 6/1/2019 upon checking my phone when we stopped for lunch, I find a message from them stating the site is NOT available since the long term person occupying it decided to extend their stay. Now — I understand that things change but c'mon — REALLY? THE day of our stay? On a Saturday? I AM grateful they left an alternative park for me in their message, High Plains RV Resort, and am SO GLAD it worked out this way in retrospect since Jim & Jessie treated us soooo well at High plains AND they happen to have the Cap'n Jacks Pub that is rated in NW Kansas and statewide.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff, and a five-star breakfast. The price is perfect for a family of four they also allowed our three dogs which are also our family members and service animals.

Staff were an absolute delight! Very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. We stayed at the Kansas Country Inn due to car troubles, and had a blast. The rooms were spotless and you could tell that breakfast was homemade. Have already recommended to friends and family, and hope to stop by again sometime!

WOW! What a night. Found this hidden gem on Google and it made for a fabulous stay! Amanda and the staff are so awesome. The neighbors were great and the dogs loved the outdoors while we had morning coffee on the gazebo. Thanks so much y’all for a great place! PS… I’ll never forget “the little rag! ”

Great local hotel that has put a lot into room upgrades. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were super friendly. Large grassy areas for pets and kids. Nice pool. Best deal in the state.

The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was great… love B&gs. Only bad thing was there was no coffee pot in our room. Told front desk and she promptly said she was sorry there was supposed to be and made a note of it… I'm sure it will be addressed. Will stay here again… on arrival was offered fresh out pop corn and pink lemonade… very yummy! Very nice out door pool!

Perfect stopover on our way to Colorado. Delicious breakfast, spacious rooms that seemed newly renovated. Loved the shower heat/pressure. There is a real heart to the place which I appreciated. "Fresh" smell outside, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Side note: they had an old rag in the room for general use (like wiping down the car in the morning) which I thought was a nice touch. More hotels should do that instead of throwing out scraggly towels.

There aren't many choices in this area of Kansas. This is a cute inn with friendly staff. It's not the Ritz Carlton but as long as you're aware of that ahead of time you'll be fine. The room was clean (had a lot of dead flies which is why I took off a star) and the bathroom was stocked. Breakfast is small but available in the morning. We enjoyed our quick stay here.

Very dog friendly — no charge for your pup! From the outside this is an old "Travel Lodge" style motel, but inside it is up-to-date and charming. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful front desk staff and given bottled water and fruit when we checked in late at night. Our beds were quite comfortable, in fact I had the best nights sleep in a hotel ever. There is a truck stop with full service restaurant just a few blocks down the road so you can very easily gas up and eat before you hit the road the next day.

Staff was quite friendly, but the sheets had not been washed. I found other people’s hair floating in both beds. Luckily I carry my own now, so not a huge deal. Deadbolt would not lock. Priced accordingly.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast straight forward but very fresh. The staff competent and very helpful.

Service was great and the rooms were clean. If you are looking for a well priced and clean place right off of 70 look no further.

The service was wonderful and the breakfast tasted very good! My only complaint is that the beds were very firm and caused restless sleep. I would still recommend it though.

Stay here for the charm, friendly service, and comfortable rooms. We arrived at midnight and front desk staff went out of her way to come out and let us know where and where not to walk our dogs to avoid the stickers/briars when she saw us walking them. The rooms were clean and I like that they make an effort to conserve energy between guests, and they try to reuse old towels. There is one clean, but slightly tattered towel offered to the guest to take with them on their journey to clean up dirty jobs. The breakfast was also homemade and good, alongside a fruit basket, oatmeal, cereal and juices. I didn't get to try out the horseshoe pit… maybe next time.

The wife and I found this great place while on a road trip vacation. Such a great stay! Nice and welcoming staff. Friendly atmosphere. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and we woke up feeling refreshed. Breakfast hit the spot and the coffee was perfect. We would definitely recommend Kansas Kountry Inn to anybody needing a place to rest and recharge.

Stopped in town after a long day on the road and found this little gem. Great people, service and comfort. Check in was easy and refreshing, the rooms clean and comfy and the breakfast hit the spot. If we come this way again, I will make sure to make Kansas Country Inn my stop for the night!

Older motel but it's updated. Second time I've stayed here. Excellent. Staff very helpful. Rooms and premises very clean. The breakfast was great in the new dining area, very nice. Nothing to not like about it.

We had a class reunion in one of the rental spaces close to the lobby. It was very nice and clean. The staff was very accomodating, professional and pleasant. One can only imagine the rest of the motel was as clean as the space we were using.

Stopped through on the way to Colorado and we'll do so again! Staff were friendly and it's clear they take pride in this motel, everything is well maintained. Rooms are basic but that's to be expected for the price point, they are still comfortable with the basics. Breakfast was good and free water bottles for the road.

We had a very nice stay here. The room was nicely appointed with matching mirrors, attractive bedspreads, nice TV, comfortable chair, microwave, Refrigerator… Bed was comfortable. Clean. Front desk staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional waffles, scrambled eggs with sausage, biscuits and gravy… The only thing that keeps me from rating a five is that I'm not positive that all rooms are as nice as ours, as I know it is a motel frequently used by contractors. Excellent and more reasonable than the Sleep Inn down the road.

Very friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. My bed was very comfy! The lobby is also well maintained and includes lots of brochures for nearby attractions.

Very nice, clean room and super friendly staff working the desk. Mattress was well used (sank on the side with the night stand) on one side but still comfortable on the other side. Would recommend for anyone passing through Oakley looking for a good room at a fair price.

I'm actually camping here. There are 5 full hookup sites. There is a swimming pool… was close to 100 today so that's going to feel good. Woman at the desk was very pleasant needed a place to stop for the night and grateful to have found a place here. Not fancy but safe.

Pulled in at 12:30 a. M. With a car full of sleepy, cranky kids, they got us right into a room. Room was clean. No bells and whistles but perfect for our needs.

Great customer service! Clean and friendly, and really pay attention to the little details that just make it a happy place to stay.

Date was 2017 July 3rd: Smelled smoking in lobby near breakfast area. The hot water in room was lukewarm. Curtains couldn't block light from window. Only one plastic drinking cup in room. Poor lighting in bedroom area. Refrigerator was off in the room. Entrance wall light wall switch operated the alarm clock. Bathroom door was hard to close. Very loose outlets in room. At breakfast no waffle iron, low quality orange juice and coffee, and no oatmeal for last 20 minutes.

Pulled into this motel and the hosts we're BBQing dinner for all the guests… Complimentary! Amazing, good ' country folk! '

Amazing place! The owners were really nice. They even made sure I ate breakfast even though it was past 9am. Would definitely recommend!

The staff were very polite and accommodating. Breakfast wasn't spectacular, but was better than I have come to expect from hotel breakfasts. I loved that they offered chilled water and fresh fruit throughout the day in their lobby. The suites were $85 and their normal rooms were $75 on the random Wednesday night I stayed. Cheaper than the Sleep Inn on the East side of town. Overall, would go back again. Good small town. Good hotel.

Clean rooms and quiet. I got there after 2 a. M. And there was a bit of a delay getting someone to the office and then getting checked in, but it was late so no big.

For the price, this place is good. Clean, no noise, and offers breakfast.

This is a very clean, quiet hotel. From what I have seen and heard this is the best place to stay in Oakley for the price!. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The free breakfast is nothing extravagant but if you like biscuits and gravy, it will make you happy. Or you can always make a waffle or have cereal. The re-purposing of the "Rag" is very quaint and loved the sign. The bathrooms are very roomy and clean. The mattresses are ready to be replaced, but the bedding is clean! I would stay here again!

Nice and clean. Good service. Great price. We showed up late at night and left pretty early. They allowed our dog without any problem.

Deana the manager was awesome. And the rooms are really really good. I actually had another room in the area but it was so bad I couldn't stay. So I called the KI expanded my situation and they took care of me. I stay on the road 8 months out of the year and see a lot of rooms. The rooms here are clean bigish but for the price is amazing.

I have stay multiple time and loved the rooms I will come back every time I am in kansas.

Been here many times staff very friendly the rooms are clean they have fridge microwave nothing super fancy but its very good and will continue to come back.
