Pool was a little too cold for me. Hot tub temp was not good either. If adjusted it would be a nice space. Near a casey's gas station that offers pizza and sandwiches as well as delivery to you.

I am in Emporia for 2 or 3 days. I tried the America's best. Please don't follow my mistake. This days inn is 100, 000 times better than the America's best across the street. The rooms here are small. I personally like a smaller room myself. They are more comfortable and easier to heat and cool. I'm just picky like that though. The lobby has a very bad odor here. I think it's from the owners taste in body oils, lotions or whatever. Don't let that push you away. The rooms are nice, clean and odor free. (Mine was anyway). I will finish my 2 days here.

Nice rooms, but the TV didn’t work — couldn’t get one channel. Hot tub was warm like a bath. Other then that I guess it was nice.

Clean and comfortable heated floors were bonus gentleman at the front desk was really courteous and nice.

I love the owner. He is so beyond nice! I will defiantly stay here again. The price is really cheap! The rooms are clean. No bugs!

With the super cheap price I did not expect much but it really was a great little room and easily exceeded my expectations.

I would only give a one because we paid the extra so we could have the suite with the hot tub. Hot tub was great but many things didn't work right. Could only get one channel on the TV; the remote for the TV didn't work; the toilet seat had been broke off the toilet; the knob for the bath tub/shower came off in my husband's hand. The following morning, the desk called when we were getting dressed, wanting to know if maintenance guy could come to take care of toilet seat. When he came in, he didn't have the toilet seat replacement. Said he would have to go buy one. When went down to check out, lady at the desk said maintenance guy from Roadway Inn was bringing a replacement for the toilet seat. I would NOT recommend this motel to no one nor would I stay there again!

Quality experience, enjoyed staying there, only problem I had was with the beds, they only had one sheet on them, but there was a blanket in the closet.

It was nicer than I expected, given the other reviews. For the price it's a 4; compared to other hotels it's a 3. The room was clean, sheets were clean. The room was small but the bed was comfortable. The fridge and AC worked. I didn't try the TV nor did I look at the pool. Water in the shower was immediately hot, no waiting. Breakfast was pretty meager, I passed on that. The manager seemed nice. This was a big improvement over other Days Inns I have stayed at. The only reason I stayed here rather than something down the street was that I had friends who had reservations here. I'd stay here again. Edit: the Wi-Fi worked well, not the fastest but not bad.

There were bugs all over our room. Beatles all over. Both the beds were broke. Other then that no problem.

This Days Inn was easy to find. Very clean and decorated nicely — — — the owner/manager was quick to respond to needs with a smile and pleasant personality. He always checked to make sure everything was ok. I would recommend a stay.

I delivered pizza to the Days Inn and it was very nice. It looked very clean and tidy.

Rooms were clean and the price was great. Only thing we wish the hot tub would have been hot. The jets were pushing out cold water. Front desk gentleman very friendly! Would consider staying here again.

I stayed here for one night on my way to Ohio. Very nice man checked me in and also checked me out. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I would stay here again if given the opportunity.

I hated it. They were disrespectful. Talked to me like I was stupid and didn't speak English. Told me to stop talking when I was trying to explain myself about me and my daughter and me going to work. But she kept talking bad to me.

At first I thought it was nice I stayed sat night left Sunday morning come Monday today I noticed my card was charged for two nights. I called and asked nicely for my refund of the one night the man on the phone proceeded to call me a liar and hung up on me I'm sorry but my bank statements don't lie and now my account is negative I'm livid right now I just want my money back from Sunday since I wasn't there … 76$ is a lot and I need it back now plz I have the proof on my bank statements they took twice I'm just super upset and wish they wouldn't call me a liar and hang up one me to me that's not professional at all.

BED BUGS! BED BUGSS! Couldn't stay because they had bed bugs… room was nasty… bathroom was nasty… but the first thing I done was check the mattress and all I saw was bed bugs…

Great little hotel at a super reasonable price. Nothing fancy but nice clean.

For one. The management is horrible. Two it was not clean and the managers don't know how to give customer service. They sound like they don't give one if someone is not having a good time at their hotel. And most of all know when a room is occupied. Don't have other people go into someones room. Know your damn job.

Price was cheap, thin walls, could hear other TV's clearly, tub drain gurgled when other rooms flushed or showered. Tried for breakfast at 8 am, one piece of fruit left that was bruised, a couple baggles, cereal and waffles.

Room was a little small for furnishings, and hot tub under repair. Nice staff though. Definitely would recommend.

Room was clean but walls are thin and really I guess you get what you pay for. Great for overnight stay if you need a cheap room. If you can afford it, the more expensive hotels are definitely worth it.

Got to the hotel and realized the pool was under construction : (Our 2 girls were very disappointed! We were never notified even though we spoke on the phone with the front desk a couple of times. The man at the front desk was very kind though (other than omitting this important piece of information) …

Great Value! For $55 you can't ask for a better place to stop. Clean & very comfy beds. Pool & breakfast with a waffle maker. Is it outdated, sure. Could it use some updates, of course. But for $55 a night this was perfect for our family on a budget.

Cock Roaches galore! I woke up several times irritated where something has bit me several times. Went to the bathroom and turned on the lights. Yep Cock Roaches everywhere. I counted 12. Don't stay here people.

The guy at the counter was very friendly and let me check in super early. And they have the most comfortable beds with pillow toppers. Definitely will stay here again.

Military guy — Traveled the world for years — — I have to say, this place was one of the BEST values for the price I've seen — EVER. Large king bed — Nice sized room with great features, such as: Large desk with multiple outlets; bedside stand with lamp, phone and alarm clock; small fridge, microwave and coffee maker; excellent bathroom with arc shower curtain, shower massage and HEATED FLOOR; big flat-screen tv; nice a/c unit — Really just a VERY NICE and comfortable room. Super friendly gentleman at check-in gave me their military rate — $53! Not only will I stay here again — If I am ever traveling through here, I will even RE-ROUTE MY TRIP, just so I can stay in this excellent place. thanks very much!

Office was very welcoming. Gentlemen at desk was very polite and helpful. Room was very clean so was bathroom. Beds were so comfortable sheet were clean and fresh. We definitely would stay here again.

The room was tiny and clearly hadn't been updated in a long while, but the beds were very soft and everything was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and you can't beat the price. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stop for the night, I would definitely recommend.

I love this hotel! The staff is so nice they are always willing to go above and beyond to make us happy. When visiting Emporia we will always stay here. The beds pool side are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Our family agrees. The last time we came we drove all night and he even let us check in early without charging us extra.

The price was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. One day would have been fine, but I was there for 4 days. The breakfast was okay, not a lot of options, but you could make a waffle. The rooms were not cleaned everyday and the beds were never made. One day, they did drop off new towels, but the others days, I had to ask for new ones at the front desk.

Not to the normal Days Inn standard (which isn't very high). But cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. Recommend the hotels up road on I35.

I made a reservation online and called and cancelled prior to the date of the reservation. However. I was charged for the night anyway, plus a separate charge of $15. The owner/manager couldn't tell me why I was charged the $15 but said it was standard to charge for rooms even if they're cancelled. REALLY? I've NEVER been charged for a room I cancelled. He refused to refund the charges to my card.

DO not stay there Jeremy Hinkle is the worst general manager there! Should be fired stayed for a few days and was not helpful at all.
