Bad costumer service. Rude employee.

Nice kept up hotel. Only thing I complain about is the ac unit turns off when not in auto so if your like me and need noise to sleep make sure u have your own fan. I like the breakfast served my husband thought it could of been better but I thought it was great especially for the little money we spent on our stay. The biscuits were served warm and soft. As for the eggs sausage and gravy.

Average motel. Clean, good shower with plenty of pressure. Decent cable selections. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Dry crumbly eggs. Watery sausage gravy. The usual motel sausage discs. Edible but not great. Coffee was better than most.

I did not have an issue with the Priceline website and plan to continue to use it, but the hotel Stay Suites of America was VERY disappointing. We booked the hotel because it had good ratings and a pool. The pool and hot tub were GREEN. My hubby tried to step into the hot tub and you could see his footprints in the green slime on the bottom of the hot tub. I told him to get out and was very disgusted and we decided to go elsewhere. The associate at the front desk was very rude. I waited to speak to him until other guests checking in were gone (to not embarrass him or the hotel in front of others) regarding the dirty pool/hot tub and room. His response was there were 3 kids using the pool earlier and he cannot help that. When I explained to him the pool area is the main reason we booked the hotel and I would like a refund to go elsewhere he then acted as though he did not remember me even though I had checked in about 20 minutes earlier I thought. Apparently by the time we parked got to our room, changed into our swimwear, went to and were disgusted by the pool, to the to time I went to him to complain, it had been about 1 hour, which he pointed out. He then kept rudely accusing me ARE YOU SURE YOU DID NOT USE THE ROOM YOU WERE HERE AN HOUR over and over again making me feel like I did something wrong or criminal. After sustaining this treatment, I stated well I did go pee to which he responded OH YOU DID USE THE ROOM THEN.

This hotel covers all of the essentials, and covers them well. The staff were polite, the food was good enough, and my room was clean and orderly. My bathroom was in good repair, and I had good water pressure. Strong winds whistle through my window, and the air conditioner didn't seem to be as strong as it could have been, but these were both pretty minor. The Wi-Fi was strong and the internet was fast. Overall an excellent value.

The first few times here it wasn’t bad. The most recent time I stayed the staff member at the counter argued with us. There are more things that should make you not want to stay here. 1) The pool/hot tub never works. 2) Air conditioner doesn’t work. 3) Breakfast is horrible. do not stay here. If I could leave a review with 0 stars I would.

Have stayed here 3 times now. First time was great. Second time was ok and this time has been pretty bad. Room needed a little extra cleaning. (Roach in the bathroom, holes in the sheets) there was also a party happening with loud people. I have two small children and going on 1 am and can't sleep so we talked to the front desk and were basically blown off. I'll go elsewhere next visit.

Excellent stay! Enjoyed the breakfast and the staff was very nice. I accidentally dumped the luggage cart and a sweet lady doing the rooms came and helped me. Then the desk clerk helped me with my things into the car. Nice rates, clean rooms, snacks available for late arrivals. I will be back and hopefully for a whole week end in August.

Nice sized room, clean, and friendly staff. Way better than the last place I stayed in Dodge City. Bummed the pool isn't available during this stay. Maybe next time.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub was closed. Which was a bummer cause when I called to reserve room I even asked about the pool and hot tub and they said is was open. Then when we get there the guy asked if I had a gotten a message saying that it was closed. I was not very happy.

Very clean rooms! Staff is very friendly. The smoke detector in our room was chirping and they immediately came and changed the battery.

I stay here regularly on business trips and have never had a bad experience. Jessi at the front desk represents the staff well as she is always pleasant and helpful. You can tell the building is a little older but they keep it clean. The one suggestion I would have is to have some more to go options on the breakfast bar. I often have to work early and don’t have time to sit and eat a full meal.

Clean room and staff was very friendly. We had a pet and it was no big deal, just an extra charge for the night. Location was convenient to restaurants, both fast food and dine-in.

Worse service ever! I called and got a room saved over the phone under my name, they took my name down, my card number, and phone number. I went to check in, the manager said I couldn’t get the room because I wasn’t 21 years old, my husband who is 22 couldn’t get the room either because we are both from less then 200 mile radius! We came to see family, and manger said we could drive back home and was rude ran out side cussing my husband and calling me a f***ing b****, throwing his hands kicking his feet like he was going to kick our car. I would never go there! The manager is the worse!

Can I rate “0” stars? I would if I could, terrible service the manager is very rude, rooms are nasty I have been bitten by bed bugs twice in one month very unfriendly staff. I would find a different hotel!

I booked Stay America from just a online site and man we're we pleased and surprised. It was clean, very nice, and updated décor and the breakfast bar was very good. It looked a bit plain but we were so very happy with the nice room, comfortable beds, and the quiet pleasant stay we had… would definitely recommend travelers to stay here.

Great stay! Was able to get a room before regular check in time thanks to the gentleman working the front desk (Drew). Not only did he not charge me extra he gave me an upgraded room since it was ready to go when I arrived. Nice T. V. Microwave, mini fridge, cold A/C and comfy beds!

Upon arrival, the room had a smell to it that was somewhere between alcohol and being closed up for awhile. The room looked nice, we opened the windows to air out. The sheer was torn at the handle down. We went to the pool area, the hot tub was barely going and not very hot. The pool was a green color of which we were told it was the chemicals they use. The hot tub, also was a weird color and felt kinda slimy feel. We didn't attempt it again. Staff were friendly.

Initial impression upon arrival was promising. The lobby looked inviting, our room was spacious and looked conducive to both relaxing and getting work done. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, though, the hotel was smelly, in general, and our bathroom, although it looked pretty clean, smelled like a gym locker. We found mildew in the tub and also all around the inside of the window frame of our room window. Breakfast was also subpar. But, the big thing was the constant unpleasant smells.

ABSOLUTELY over priced for the accomodations. Dirty, smells and ALL of the towels provided had holes. The lock on the restroom door in the room was not functioning. Breakfast needs A LOT of improvement.

Very dated and bathroom was not very nice. Curtains were torn and not in good shape. The beds were comfortable but the a/c was loud and woke us up several times. Breakfast was okay, but not great. Probably won't be back.

The room was clean, the staff was nice, my stay was quiet. I would stay here again. I would have given 5 stars, but the ice machine on the second floor did not work and the breakfast was sub-par.

The room was ok, the staff was ok. There was old cigarette smell to the room despite it being a non-smoking room. The breakfast was odd (sausage gravy and biscuits) and it gave me and my husband both a stomach ache. The toilet in the public area was scary-gross.

It is quiet, that's about it watch out for the local meth heads that frequent the back parking lot I had an encounter with one @ 5 am one morning. Im certain he was intending to rob me. I convinced him that I wasn't the one he was looking for. I would suggest the front parking lot. But other than that it's a quiet clean well ran hotel. Staff is courteous and helpful.

I found a new, great place to stay: the StaySuites of America-Dodge City. The former Holiday Inn Express with bad reviews was taken over 4 months by Stay Suites and the staff does a superb job making guests feel welcomed. Checking in and checking out is fast and friendly. Jordan and the rest if the staff is awesome. Jordan personally helped me get my bags from my car onto the cart. The morning front desk clerk was nice enough to print me out a restaurant coupon per request as I was checking out. They will ask if you need something to eat if you miss the continental breakfast. My room was clean and nice. The room price was impressive and affordable. I wish I could have stolen (just joking) the wide, high flow shower head so I can replace my low flow shower head. The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours. My only complaints were the second floor ice machine wasn’t working and the thermostat to the pool was broken. I also recommend that to add a few things to make the hotel even better, like making the Wi-Fi secure, switching biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs on certain days, adding a makeup mirror to every room, and maybe adding a small water slide to appeal to the younger guests. If my Christmas is in Dodge City, then my new place to stay is at StaySuites of America-Dodge City.

Very warm and inviting staff that were helpful with everything we needed. Room was clean and comfortable just what we needed for our small family and very close to many food chains for a quick bite. I would definitely stay here in the future.

This is not a Holiday Inn Express. The Holiday Inn Express left a few months ago. The hotel that is there now is still using the same phone number. Our room had mold on the bathroom ceiling, the toilet hadn't been cleaned and there was a used wash cloth left hanging on the shower curtain. Find another option.

Someone was in our room and let our two dogs out. My husband got in the room thought I was there went straight in bathroom. But that person wasn't me. I was down the hall and around the corner at vending machines. The person must of left right after he went in bathroom and dogs must of followed the person. I caught the dogs moments later in hall way running away from me to back entrance. This place not safe. Beware.

In Miami, FL for $30 less than this hotel. In Dodge City. Breakfast gets a C-.

I stayed at the hotel, am a platinum holiday inn club member. I was supposed to have a refrigerator in my room. I stayed a week. I requested a fridge the 1st 3 nights and was told I'd get it the next day each time and never got it. I was pretty much told by the person at the desk that she couldn't do anything about it at all, since housekeeping had left. (I came in at 5 pm, this was a working trip) They were pretty professional about it but completely unapologetic about the whole thing. I finally told them not to worry about it because it was so stressful to have them pretty much tell me I wasn't worth their time by their not following through on their promises (It will definitely be in there tomorrow) again and again after a long work day. To be fair, the room was clean and the breakfast was average. But this is a holiday inn site that is coasting on being a good name in a tourist location, not work the $ they charge for the service they provide.

This side of town seems to be susceptible to power outages, as a small storm passed through and caused power to go out for about half an hour. Also, every truck going by caused the room to shake. If you want to stay here, make sure and get the side away from the road, it may be better. Nice pool and workout facility. Breakfast looks to be pretty good, but haven't had it yet. As I grade STRONGLY on sleep, quiet and comfort I can only give this a 2 star because of the truck vibrations.
