We’ve been traveling for 7 days, and stayed predominantly in BWP motels. This location is clearly the best among them. The location, on the main drag in Dodge City, Kansas, is within walking distance of the very heart of this historic town. This was a repeat trip for me (to this location), and I’ll definitely be back.

After getting off the Amtrak at 5am in the morning. We made our way to hotel to be greeted by Sue, Who was so helpful. Our room is great shame we are only staying the one night as we have to get back on the Amtrak at 5am in the morning.

I checked in late and used a free night voucher. The lady that helped me was very accommodating Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. Great place with friendly staff!

Excellent facility with very attractive western décor. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom was the right size. Love having the A/C unit fan be able to stay "on" for a little "white noise. " A free breakfast is always an added bonus.

This Best Western in Dodge City appeared to be nice when we arrived and Andrea and Louis were very helpful with dinner suggestions. We liked it here so much we stayed another night, used the hot tub and salt water pool, toured the city and had a great relaxing time. Our chocolate lab felt right at home here. If you are in the area and have choices of towns to stay in, this is the one. Thank you Sue and everyone else I didn't mention for a lovely stay.

Good staff, busy hotel employees. Usually you cant go wrong w/ Best Western. Plenty of breakfast items, including warm food. Rooms were decent enough. No issues just not 5 star.

Helpful, friendly staff; Super clean, very attractive decor. Good variety of food for breakfast. Reasonable rates. I didn't have time to take advantage of the fitness center and pool, but it looked very inviting. I highly recommend staying there.

My Grandson and I were on a trip to the Grand Canyon witch included many stops and also going through the Rocky Mountains, and a stop over in Dodge City. This was an excellent hotel and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was the best we ever had in any of the hotels.

Very nice hotel with a suite-like room: sitting area separate from the bed area. Everyone was professional and pleasant. Breakfast offered eggs with FLAVOR (chopped peppers in the omelette as one option) and gluten-free options too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This Best Western Hotel in Dodge City was the best experience we have ever had at a Best Western. I had almost given up on this chain after the last two REALLY bad experiences but this has renewed my belief and I will reconsider Best Western. I would definitely go back to Dodge City!

This is a little bit older hotel, conveniently located in Dodge City. Super friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. Comfortable rooms, though lacking in outlets for plugging in phone and iPads. Bewarethe train whistle. Do not forget to use your ear plugs and definitely close then outside door if you have a veranda. The breakfast was better than average and well staffed. We’ll stay there again!

Very good place to spend the night.

The pool was inoperable due to construction. (Darla) The staff was very rude and inconsiderate. Booked the reservation for my wife and kids… she rushed me off the phone and said my wife would be fine to check-in without me. Then she gave my wife a hard time while checking in by herself, with 2 kids, 2 dogs, and after 10 hours of driving. My wife also said the breakfast was puss poor. Kids said it was alright. Would recommend once construction is complete and Darla changes her attitude or she's fired…

This place saved my weekend and gave us a great rate and a beautiful room. We had set a reservation with a different Motel but nothing worked the shower, hot tub and even the phone didn't work it was a complete mess So we left the old broken down La Quinta Inn and we went to the Best Western Plus in Dodge city I told the gentlemen at the front desk my story and they gave me a room that was so nice my daughter and I had such a wonderful time the pool and hot tub was so relaxing and the room was perfect so if your in need of a very nice motel you have got to try THE BEST WESTERN PLUS you will not regret it. This was our first stay in this hotel and we were more than pleased. The entire hotel was exceedingly clean and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Showers were hot and bathrooms clean and well supplied. We had one of the ground floor rooms exits to both the outside and inside which was very convenient. The room was much larger than expected with plenty of space for our two adults and three teenagers. Would definitely plan stay here again!

The staff was outstanding, Darla saw to our every need, very helpful with ideas and other information abut places to go and more in Dodge City. It is a fine hotel. Every detail is carefully looked after that you can image you might consider in finding a very fine great place to stay. We always stay at the Dodge City Best Western on Wyatt Earp Drive. It is a great place to rest and relax before we begin our trip again.

Stayed here for a wedding back in April. Amazing friendly staff. Very well kept hotel, pool area was great and inside indoors. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great hotel very clean and nice looking upkeep is great. Friendly helpful front desk staff. Gave great dinner locations. Van driver very helpful and friendly. Bar staff great stayed open a few minutes past closing to make me a drink. Travel quite a lot to the area staying a various best western locations and this hotel is by far the best one. This is a fantastic hotel. We had a ground floor room with two queens, a fold-out couch bed, both interior and exterior entry doors, and permission to keep our dog in the room for an extra fee. The rooms are 1/3 larger than a standard room in this price category. The breakfast was great, the staff were genuine, friendly, and helpful. Please take my money Best Western Plus! Everything I expect in a hotel plus more.

Enjoyed the stayed at this hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful in giving directions to their exact location, and friendly to offer suggestions to nearby restaurants. Would stay there again if ever passing by again.

Had a great stay. It's in a great location, they also have a shuttle bus that will pretty much take you anywhere in town. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a very nice 2 night stay here. The room was clean, reasonably priced and we had plenty of room to move around. We especially enjoyed having a mini fridge and microwave.

Great stay. Had a leak in the bathroom and they took care of it right away. Good breakfast.

Friendly Staff and clean rooms. We've traveled to Dodge many times the last two years and have stayed at a few other hotels. Best Western is the the absolute BEST! Never disappointed.

Excellent hotel. Small mix up in check in but was handled very professionally — even walked me to my room! Shuttle service was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly driver I will recommend and definitely stay there again.

A terrific port in the storm during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Very helpful staff and super clean facilities. Thumbs up!

Rooms are good some singles even have a jacuzzi tub. When I had an issue that was reported as I was leaving in the morning. Before I came back around lunch the issue was dealt with to my satisfaction. All in all I am pleased with the service the breakfast in the morning where complimentary and tasty.

Very friendly staff and community. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs, buscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, hot coffee and all the other regular items (cereal, danish, toast, bagel). I would stay again! I did not find any USB ports to charge my phone and such.

I recommend this place to anyone. Very friendly people that works there. Very clean, comfortable bed, easy to get in and out to go see the attractions. Their breakfast bar was great food and very clean. My husband likes to be able to drive up to our door to our room to unload our luggage. Even though I had to go through the main lobby to get to my room the first time we still had a door from our room that opens to go out to our car. Overall I rate excellent place! A 5 star rating!

We were given a room with a broken air conditioner… the temp outside was over 90 degrees, even at 10pm. We could not switch rooms, because they were booked up (which is understandable). I feel the rooms should be checked before the guests arrival. The front desk woman came to the room to check it out, also. We were not offered a discount for the $147 room or offered a fan to make the night a little more bearable. Not a great experience…

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything that I used was well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff doesn't get done until late afternoon, which wouldn't matter except I returned to my room around the same time everyday. Not really an issue though. My only issue was my bill and being charged for the daily use of a safe. My bill was emailed to me so I didn't see it right away. After I seen the charge I called to have it corrected. The woman that answered said she would and email a new receipt. After a few hours of not receiving it I called again. The man that answered was apologetic and took care of the problem immediately while on the phone with him. He emailed the receipt and I received it while thanking him. The error was corrected and the difference refunded to my card. I work for the government and am tax exempt, he even corrected that by removing the sales tax. It was probably a human error and they took care of it without a hassle. Overall its a nice hotel with a good staff. My family and I have stayed here on several occasions over the last few years. Dodge City is a midway point for us between Nebraska and Texas. We've had family Christmas here a couple times and they've always accommodated our requests such as neighboring rooms and use of the dining area to gather.

We needed a place to stay and thought we would give the Dodge City Best Western a try. Pleasantly suprised. Out of the six hotels we stayed at during or trip, BW was by far our favorite. Room layout was great, it had the feeling of being in a two room suite. Breakfast was very nice. Would definitely stay there again.

I am amazed this hotel charges 220$ a night. I have no problem paying this price for a clean room. I have never, ever stayed in a room so filthy in all my years of travel. The spray they used to mask the pet smells was gagging. There was a sticky film on many surfaces, like the place was wiped down with a very dirty rag. And no matter how many times we brushed the black. Whatever it was from the bed, it was constantly falling on the bed. Absolutely gross. We told the gal at the front desk, but she just blew us off. We will never stay at ANY Best Westerns again.

Very nice hotel, room and lobby clean. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast being served at 6am on Saturday is a definite plus! We were there for a dance competition and we needed to be able to feed the dancers in time to be at the competition at 8am.

Above average Hotel, especially for the price. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would stay at this Hotel anytime I come to Dodge City in the future.

This place was super clean, comfortable and the staff was amazing. They made sure we had fresh hot coffee & warm cookies even when checked in late at night. The breakfast was tasty, fresh & the pancake machine was awesome. We will stay here again for sure!

My stay was just an overnight stay on a long road trip. Hotel was very clean, easy access to room and welcomed my dog. All the things I needed. Should I come through Dodge City again, I'll be back. Very friendly and courteous staff.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and seemed like they had recently been updated. The staff was kind and friendly. We will definitely stay there again the next time we're in town.

A++++++. We travel a lot and are well versed in accommodations. This is absolutely one of the cleanest places we have stayed at in years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and well designed. The breakfast was spot on. I am sitting in a Hilton in Denver right now the very next day and the Best western in Dodge City puts this place to shame. My wife and I highly recommend the Best Western in Dodge City. Thank y'all for doing your job well.

Clean comfortable room, fantastic breakfast in the morning. The staff was professional, friendly, and courteous.

There is a Cowboy theme theme through the hotel wich is pretty neat. The staff are fairly friendly and there is access to vending machine through the hotel. On the downside, if you are expecting to get work done online try again. The Internet only gets about 5MB/s max and the router constantly asks you log even after you've logged in. (Really annoying! )

Service was good. They've added a hotel bar which is handy. Shower heads are a bit low.

The staff was friendly. The dead bolt on my balcony door did not have a bolt in it so the door would not lock. The shower Handel pipes moved a lot in the wall not tight. It is nice they have a bar in the motel now which is nice.

It costs a bit more a night then the rest on "Wyatt Earp street" of Dodge City. It is more then worth the extra price. Perfect rooms. A little bar that is good for a nightcap on your way back (walking distance) from the tourist attractions of Dodge City.

Stayed there last weekend for a relaxing evening and it was a horrible experience. Went to get in the pool and jacuzzi and the pool was ice cold. My daughters didn't even want to get in. The jacuzzi was lukewarm. There weren't any towels and I had to call the front desk from my personal cell because the phone in the pool room didn't work. She stated she had placed a call to the manager because she didn't know how to turn up the heat. We waited a few hours and it wasn't any better. The next morning we tried again and the pool was still ice cold and the jacuzzi was dirty. When I called to rent the room I specifically asked about the pool and the jacuzzi. What a waste of money and I spent $160 for a room. I will never stay again and would not recommend this place!

I highly highly recommend to stay here if your ever in dodge city… not only are the staff amazing and caring but the rooms are excellent very comfortable bed rooms are very spacious… breakfast is good lots of choices very well kept… staff is very friendly… very well decorated… indoor pool is kept clean… best two week stay ever… All around great hotel.

I like the staff. Super easy to work with. Accommodating to my zany requests. I travel to Dodge City a lot for work, and this is the nicest, most convenient hotel for miles. I show up at odd hours and still get my rate. ($93 bucks is no joke! ) Cannot be beat in Dodge City. Hands down the cleanest and quietest you can get. Worth every penny.

Everything was wonderful, nice room and great towels, friendly staff, the Free breakfast is awesome, that I would have paid extra for… nice attention to details, newspaper on every table.

We had a great time in Dodge City at this beautiful Best Western Plus. The owner was there working and offered my husband help with the luggage! Wow! What work ethic, you don't see that very often these days. Looking forward to staying there again soon. The only thing I could not find was a recycle bin for my plastic water bottles. Really nice hotel if you willing to drop $150 for the night. The fan in the AC unit was crazy noisy but the bed was so comfy I hardly noticed. Breakfast was money. Western omelettes.

Well I called ahead to get a room. I stay in rooms 52 weeks out of the year and am a platinum member with BW. So I told the girl at the desk I might be there a few days didnt know. When I arrive see charged my Discover 550.00 dollars. I got all we have left is suites too but 135.00 a night this aint no Hilton. There is nothing in Dodge worth a 135.00 a night. So then the toilet does not work she says she will put a note in and get it done while im out running calls, well that never happened worst service I have had at a BW in the USA.

Very nice and clean. People were very friendly and hospitable. I even asked the front desk for a bottle opened and they didn't have one, but the gentleman, Brock, searched high and low to find me one so I didn't have to go buy one. How awesome! I would totally stay here again. Beds are comfy, but the pillows are the size of throw pillows so I was glad that I brought my own. The breakfast was very good. Having a fridge in my room was VERY nice. Overall very nice place to stay.

I arrived after 11 pm and was given a discounted rate on my suite since that's all that theyhad available. My room was very nice but I had trouble sleeping because the air did not work. At 2 am I called the desk clerk who told me to reset the air conditioning unit. I unplugged the unit twice since there was no reset but by morning the room remained in the mid to high 70s. The clerks were especially nice and the morning clerk discounted my bill for a total charge of $103.44.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable, with lots of nice western accents. Great breakfast. A little pricy, but worth it if you value a quiet and comfortable night's sleep in a hotel with great atmosphere. And don't know how they did it, but even on the main highway there was no noticeable road noise, at least on the side away from the road.
