Room was extremely hot. Shower faucet could not be adjusted. Hot all night. Breakfast area was hot, no air. No milk, no salt/pepper. We have stayed in a lot of Super 8 motels and this was by far the worst.

This Super 8 Motel is just exactly what you would expect. Interior corridors to your room for safety. Rooms that are comfortable and clean and stocked with a mini refrigerator and a microwave. Water pressure was good with a nice shower head to get a great start to your day. Breakfast is the typical carb heavy breakfast with hot waffles and coffee and juice. All for a reasonable price.

The rooms are neat and clean plus they allow your pets along with you that's the best and easy on the packet too. Staff is super friendly. And hot breakfast can't beat that. One of the best motel 8.

It was clean and I didn't have any complaints other than the breakfast the next day wasnt the best.

Definitely recommend. Comfortable beds & decent breakfast choices. Fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, gym & pool. Took 1 star off because you won't get your Wyndham rewards if you don't have your member card in hand because the staff cannot look you up in the computer.

A good spot to stop at before getting into Colorado. Shower could have been cleaner but overall okay. Breakfast will hold you over till you leave and find something else. The water quality could be improved. Great exercise room.

The room was nice, close to alot of restaurants, But if you didn't show up for breakfast when it began good luck getting them to replace anything very conservative on what the were willing to replace.

Decent, but stay somewhere else for 20 more bucks. Not worth the Wyndham points.

Pit stop on the way to Denver! The floors have washers and dryers and a pretty decent breakfast. Would definitely stop here again on the way back.

Super clean. Very helpful staff. I accidently reserved a smoking room online. The attendant was able to switch me to a non smoking room. Yet another great experience at a super 8 for me.

Just like any other Super 8; everything is just okay. The staff was mostly friendly. When we checked in our room was not cleaned, but they got us a clean room quickly. But don't you dare fill up the waffle machine with the whole cup of mix or else the manager will get upset with you and angerly clean the overflow up. The shower heads are very dirty and the beds stiff. Otherwise it's just a super 8 — — what do you expect? We got a place to sleep over night with a hot breakfast included in the morning. I imagine we'd stay again unless we could afford something nicer.

Excellent service and amenities, especially for the price! I stayed here when I was driving across the country and this was my favorite hotel I stayed at. They also gave me a discount for dinner at the restaurant down the street. Highly recommend to anybody! The area is quiet and safe with easy access to the freeway.

Very nice Hotel. I was a driver for Village Tours and travel at the time and I would stay there over night to do a casino run the next day for Boothill Casino in Dodge city KS. The manager was already prepared for me when I arrived to check in and was very professional. I left a belt in the hotel room after I left and I called after arriving at the casino. He told me he would look and he did. I picked up my forgotten item and thanked him very much for his help.

Rooms were visually pleasing and appeared to be quite clean. The beds were comfortable, a/c worked great, and internet speed was good. Breakfast was very standard, but tasty. The bathroom fan in one of our rooms was very noisy, and you cant turn the light and fan on separately. Great view of parking from the window in the room. Overall I was very pleased with the experience.

Clean quick and easy. Good price and location, not far from interstate 70 at all. Parking lots a little weird but everything else was good.

Fantastic staff! Came in late Sunday night and the gentleman took excellent care of me. Friendly staff. Definitely will stay again if I'm ever through Kansas again! My cat and I really enjoyed the Lazy Boy in the room!

Has parking for semi trucks nearby (bonus! ). Hotel is dated, but not bad for the money. Quiet unless some idiot (me) sets off the smoke detector with shower steam after midnight. Sorry about that. Had an issue with the first room, but the night mgr made it right. Top marks for hospitality. Beds aren't high end, but not terrible either. Through the wall a/c units cool really well, but are also loud (didn't notice any other noise over the AC though, so there is that). Cable TV, internet, fridge, microwave in room. Free breakfast.

We were very pleased with our stay at Super 8 in Colby. The room was clean and everything was in working order. We stayed in the queen suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was very firm, but do-able. The room had multiple outlets which was nice, but dim — as is the case with most hotel rooms. There was one full bathroom and a separate sink. The service was exceptional and breakfast was very good for a Super 8. Breakfast included waffles, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal, danishes, bananas, toast, coffee, milk, and juice. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again if we happen to be traveling through Colby again. Our only complaint was the temperature of the building. Our room was quite warm when we arrived and took a few hours to cool down. Even then it was not cool. The hallways we're also sultry.

We called this Super 8 about two hours prior to arrival and were able to get a room on a Friday night. The price was acceptable for two queen beds and the attendant at the counter was nice enough. The rooms, however, were really dated. It did have a flat screen TV with cable but be prepared for a strange trip back to the 80s. The air conditioner worked and we had hot water — nothing else is required for a nights stay. Breakfast was average at best and they had a strange rule about not taking food back to the room. Perhaps this is why the room was really clean but the owner/manager will treat you like a child in order to enforce this rule. I'm an adult with kids of my own — I don't need someone telling me how to push the trash in the trash can, how to pour my milk without spilling, or to pick up my napkin off the floor. Despite the negative experience at breakfast, we would probably stay here again and grab breakfast elsewhere (Colby has a Starbucks and a McDonalds).

Good place to stay overnight. Close to the interstate and clean room. The Wi-Fi was really slow and I could hear everything in the next room.

Room was big but misleading we paid basically to sleep was supoused to be family suite the third bed though was basically a very small bed almost as low as the floor. Nice flat screen, but it wouldn't turn on. Considering we paid 100 for a night at least we could have had a t. V. To watch.

There are two separate building and we stayed in the one detached from the lobby. Our room was pretty clean, plus it had a microwave and mini fridge. The beds were a little hard for my taste, but I slept ok. My cereal in the morning was stale, but they also offered biscuits and gravy, bananas, oatmeal and a waffle maker. This hotel was nothing special, but it was decent enough for a 1 nights stay.

Clean quiet room. Staff was friendly. We left something there and called to notify them. They held it for us until we picked it up, which was appreciated.

Pretty cheap hotel but at least the beds are usable. Toilets filled up to the brim every flush, bath & shower passable. Fairly expensive for what you get. Also, the hotels aren'ts locked from outside so pretty much anyone has access to the rooms.

Did not stay here. Called for rates got and I quote "you come down here we give you good rate". I asked again how much with a pet. I got again "you come down now and we give you a good rate". I was just up the road in the truck shop would have to walk down just to see how much… no you need to tell me how much. And again he said "you walk down here we give you good rate". They could be a great place to stay but the man with the middle eastern accent blew it for me. All he had to do is give me a room rate… what did he want to see if I was white, black, or maybe Jewish before he quoted it… no I don't do that crap! So I did not even go.

Arrived very late/early (4am-ish) after a long drive from Illinois. Had to call the location after ringing the service bell twice. The night clerk/manager (? ) gave me a disapproving glare as he noted "awful late for a checkin" (obviously was not our intention for the day but some detours were unavoidable) and must have been grumpy from having been awakened for my checkin. I had stayed at this hotel as a teenager, on a similar trip with my family, unexpectedly for three days during a Spring Break Blizzard (mid to late '90's) and was excited to share a part of a great childhood experience of mine with my kids. Instead, it appears nothing has been updated in the over two decades since my last stay and we were greeted at the breakfast with a suspecting, "what room? " in broken English from the morning clerk. Breakfast was decent: hot waffles-do NOT put chocolate chips in the waffle iron unless you want to be lectured, as my daughter did-limited cereal options with few Danishes and cinnamon rolls prepackaged and microwaved, additional obviously prepackaged and frozen "egg omelets" were available but reminded me of the old McDonald's eggs. Breakfast cannot be taken to your rooms, which was different from my previous stay, and the employees/family watch the area like a hawk, speaking only to each other in a language other than English.

My truck was in shop at Central Detroit and this was the one they suggested. Rooms are super clean and very modern. New big TV, recliner, endless hot water, and a mattress that I would have stolen if it would have fit in my sleeper. They use the beautyrest Trevor Recharge Plush. I know because I pulled the sheets off to look. The breakfast was fine, the staff was fine, everything was clean. Colby seems to suck, but if you must stay at least this place will make it somewhat more bearable.

Over all experience was below superb. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. On the other hand the room smelt musty, which was not appealing, and the staff was rude. But it's a Super 8 so you can't expect much.

Truck broken down across the street. Was here 3 nights. Hotel was better quality than most Super 8's. Loved the recliner as a seat, bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure was a little low. I had Do Not Disturb and not one person disturbed me. Pet fee was a little high, $40 for 3 nights. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Overall a nice motel. Definitely would recommend.

Paid for 2 nights only got to stay 1.5 because had other guest complain about my refer unit on my trailer was running. In stead of night management moving a late check in (11:00pm) to the other side he woke me up to till me to move my trk to another property. I don't expect a refund but I have never been so rudely treated I was parked there when they arrived and they should of been moved. I stay at super 8 often but never again unless or until I revive an apology.

Quiet, clean, roomy and very affordable. Management was courteous and seemed like they cared about my experience. Breakfast was decent and free is a good price. Will stay here again if I am nearby. Close to many things including food, movies and Walmart.

Got in late on our way to CO. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Shower was nice as well. Quite and the beds were ok. For the price it was well worth it. Breakfast wasn't too bad either.

This hotel was so gross. It reeked of smoke (half of the rooms are smoking) and felt dirty. The only time I took off my sandals was when I laid in bed and showered. And the breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had. I stuck with the pre-packaged oatmeal, to be safe. And the manager was so rude to my 5 year old daughter for just walking quietly around the 'breakfast' area. You could not pay me to stay here again. There are other hotels in the same area. Definitely go with a different place.

I am finishing a two day stay at Super 8 Colby Kansas. It was an amazing experience. Stuff is nice and very helpful, I got my shirts ironed for free and discounts for Montana Mikes restaurant during my stay. I highly recommend it to everybody.

I called prior to my trip and was quoted over the phone a room rate for one person and one dog of $59.99. When I got my credit card statement I found I was charged $80.76. I called to discuss he told me I was also being charged an additional $10.00 for my dog. I told him when I booked my room I told him I had a dog and he never mentioned an additional fee. I highly encourage anyone to get their room rate in writing and make sure you are present when he processes your credit card, DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN or this SUPER 8.

Great experience for a motel. Low rates (especially for a tourist stop like Colby, KS), free Wi-Fi, Netflix, good connectivity, friendly staff, good breakfast choices. We paid for two nights but forgot to place our "do not disturb" card on the doorknob to alert Housekeeping, but the front desk told them for us not to knock on the door, which was great. Everything was clean and tidy and the building itself (structural elements such as baseboards EXIST and are well built, yay! ) was in excellent condition. 10/10 would stay again.
