Interesting experience at this hotel. The exterior looked good and the desk clerk was very nice. On the surface the room looked very nice too. However we discovered the pool was under construction and although open hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bathroom in our room was dirty — so much so that we didn't want to shower there. We also observed bugs pn the.

Booked room on Priceline prior to arriving last night. Room appeared to be remodeled, but rest of hotel was old and dated. Hall smelled of cigarettes and carpet very worn. First thing in room saw dead roach in bathroom and a live one climbing up wall. It scurried under the baseboard. My traveling companion wanted to leave but room was paid for and it was late. Decided to keep all luggage off the floor just in case. Last thing I want is to transport roaches home. Checked bed to make sure it was clean and went to sleep. Next morning went down to eat breakfast and saw roaches on the carpet in hallways. Another hotel guest stopped us and warned us of deplorable conditions when he saw us heading to breakfast area. He said that he had tried to get help from front desk clerk with no luck. He was on phone calling the hotel headquarters. We walked into breakfast room looked around and decided not to eat there due to what we had witnessed in our room and the hallway. While checking out I mentioned to the clerk that there were roaches in the room and hall and that it might be wise to call pest control. He did not even acknowledge my comment. Stay away from this property unless you like unwanted guests in your room.

Water kept dripping from the upstairs bathroom while you used the toilet, but management did nothing about it. Cobwebs all over the room. Hair on the floors. Place looked dirty. Entry access was broken. What else can I say. Pretty much covers the experience. Stay away. Stay far, far, away.

First impressions aren’t always correct. They have recently remodeled the rooms most of it is new and pretty however the halls, outside doors, main and common areas need major remodel. The 2 things I care about are: is the bed comfortable and is the room/BR clean. I can say yes to both. I got a great nights sleep, the room was clean and the a/c worked! Whatever you do, skip the Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel… awful and dirty!

Access to and from I-70 is fantastic. Room was well decorated, clean and met our needs. The check in was quick. The best thing I would recommend this hotel for would be their bed. Really comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Also the price we paid was quite reasonable.

The first impression I got was awesome due to the wonderful service provided by the front desk worker Merry. Friendliness and attentiveness she provided during our check-in She is a very sweet lady! For the property itself, this is a very clean, newer feeling hotel for a reasonable price. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. And the breakfast was good. Overall this is a very nice hotel for a family trip.

Pros: Huge pool Clean Modern Continental breakfast Right in the heart of Colby Kansas. Delicious Mexican restaurant. Cons: No lock on the outside door on the hotel, anybody could get in without a key. No hot tub. It took a long time for them to clean the pool and when it was finally done, there was still sand in the pool. Service was a little bit weird but not super bad. Anyways I'd rate this at 3 stars. It was amazing and it was horrible. I'd recommend it.

We stayed 4 nights with no issues what so ever. Staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Liked the easy access to I-70. Very quiet stay and we were on the ground floor. Would highly recommend.

Was very clean, quite. Had everything we needed. Location was easy to get to and fast food. Was a good value. No issues at all with the place and would recommended it to anyone. Check in and check out was very easy. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here last weekend and were very very upset! We had one of the maintenance workers decide to put his hands against the glass of our window (as we were an outside facing window) and decide to look in on my husband, daughter and I for a couple minutes. When my husband saw him, the guy left the window, my husband then proceeded to open up the door and ask the guy what he needed and why he was peeping in through our window and the guy walked faster away and never responded. We addressed this issue with the front desk and were informed that they really couldn't do much about it. So we also contacted corporate. So far we have gotten the run around from the hotel and corporate about how they really don't know what they're going to do. This happened last Sunday and here we are on Thursday and still nothing has been done. So please, unless you want a peeping tom peeking in our your window while you stay here, I wouldn't suggest staying here! If I had the option of putting no stars, I would. Very displeased with their customer service and the hotel in general.

This was our second time stopping here and it was still very clean and reasonably priced. Close to the highway without being noisy our Double Queen room was perfect for a quick nights rest. Breakfast was not quite as good as our last stay but more than adequate.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the quality inn Colby Kansas. The hotel is very nice and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast had a good amount of assortment and was very tasty. The staff was very nice, especially mike. We enjoyed our stay.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the towels were thick. Another plus for the hotel. Breakfast was very good. There was a nice variety of foods, Another plus. My overall experience at this hotel was very positive.

There are not enough words to describe the hospitality, we recd. The entire staff was so friendly and always asking if we needed anything. Our room was nice and clean, beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic! I rate this Hotel and Staff a 5 Star.

This was not an expensive hotel, but it really is just a place to sleep. The buildings are obviously old, but the rooms have been recently renovated. The beds were clean and reasonably comfortable. However, the breakfast options were extremely limited… stale bagels and bread, a couple cereal choices, but no milk… there were not even forks available! We were also disappointed by the pool. It is an indoor pool, but the room is poorly insulated, cold, and filled with an eery fog, and the water was frigid.

I did a review of this lovely hotel a few years ago but since then the hotel has been completely renovated and this was the first time we had stayed in it since the renovations had been completed. What a fabulous hotel it is now. fabulous beds, great staff and being so conveniently placed to I-70 It is truly our home away from home when in COLBY.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the quality inn Colby Kansas. The hotel is very nice and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast had a good amount of assortment and was very tasty. The staff was very nice, especially mike. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent room setup for our family of five, two adults and three kids including two teenage sons and a daughter. Flooring was perfect for our little dog. Kids loved the room. We will definitely overnight here again. We will recommend your hotel to others we know for traveling across Kansas to Missouri and then back to Colorado.

Very good The hotel I was a night and have very modern everything, clean, very friendly staff, pool inside, breakfast in the Mañanaincluido, a Mexican restaurant, cafe in the room, but what I liked a safe place even when it has no walls leave my stuff In my car and all morning, thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised with what a nice hotel this is. We got there late night on our way home from Colorado. Newly remodeled rooms, very modern. Coffee maker in the room. Good toiletries. They do allow dogs with a $10 fee. Awesome breakfast and coffee. Definitely worth it. You get what you pay for.

I have stayed there a couple times. And it was great! Very nice service. Respectful. But our last stay was HORRIBLE! Never going back! Very rude, and it has gone down hill since they have new management! The only good part about being there was the restaurant.

The most horrid hotel. Wanted to give 0 stars. Filthy, in disrepair, non/functioning air/heat unit. Breakfast items were cheap, no-name brands. No light over desk with which to work. Shower and tub were gross. Refrigerator moldy. Toilet seat too small for bowl so you end up sliding the seat while using the toilet. Ironing board cover full of holes and dirty.

This hotel was perfect for my 16 year old daughter and I to stay in while we visited family. All the staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Usually when I stay at any hotel, I wake up with back pain but the bed here was perfect and I had no pain when I woke up! Breakfast was delicious as well. Definitely will stay again!

The place wasn't even good enough to leave a star… My boyfriend works for a custom cutting crew and they are on a weekly rate so they change the rooms every week he left with me to do some laundry and when I brought him back all his stuff was GONE! The first time they person at the front desk told him that it wasnt there job that it was the room keepings job. The second time they told him they they didn't know where the lost in found is. And the tried time the guy called room keeping and said that there was never anything in the room when they went to clean it. The cops were even called and nothing came up… Soo heated.

Nice the motel is going through renovations. I find the room layout for the bathroom cumbersome. The sink and vanity is separate from the shower and toilet. The water pressure for the shower is very low. I have stayed in many Choice Hotels and I find this one very low in quality.

Quality Inn has decent service, with an average breakfast. We would stay again if given an option.

The rooms were recently remodeled and look nice but are tight on space. Our bathroom was dirty and the shower smelled gross upon arrival. The Wifi did not work and the breakfast was free but not good.

Don't be fooled by the outside. The room we had was nice. A good night's rest.

Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed. Great shower, plenty of hot water. Recently tastefully remodeled. Reasonable rate. What more can a weary traveler ask for?

Great setup for our family of five! Our family simply needed a place to sleep and we were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The floor plan was perfect for two adults, two teenage sons, and a daughter. There were two beds and a sleeper sofa, plus two large flat screen TV sets, too. We had our little dog with us who was welcome to stay for only $10. Will recommend to others and will return the next time we drive to Missouri.

Check in was normal, no issues. The room was completely updated and I don't see any construction or remodeling still going on like all the other posts. Only stayed 1 night, needed an affordable 1 night stay and this was it. Dog friendly with $10 fee. Room was updated from floor to ceiling and was really nice. King bed was 6/10 and A/C worked great.

This place is gross. I only saw the outside and lobby, upon walking in the front door literally feel off in my hand. The men at the front desk were rude, so I told them to cancel my reservation because I wouldn't stay there anyway. They appear to be renovating but neglecting to clean up throughout the process. There are rugs, pallets, debris and trash all over the outside of the building. The Quality Inn sign itself is falling off.

Surprisingly clean for the location and rate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was pretty terrible, and the rest lobby/amenities were needing a lot of work. But for the price, it was an alright place to stay one night.

Hated my stay. Dirty room. Failed to clean room after request for 2nd day of stay. Unable to retrieve item left behind.

We arrived late at night, around 11pm to the Colby, Kansas Quality Inn. We were in room 118 around the back of the facility. They were doing a lot of remodeling, I hope it was remodeling. Boxes, furniture, mirrors, tools, and crates were in the sidewalk and hotel hallway areas. It was not the safest environment for my little ones to walk freely. We get to the room and the floor had not been vacuumed, the furniture was run down and gross. It was not well maintained at all. Upside, the bed was very clean. Nice sheets and they were clean! The mattress was clean and well kept. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless it was cleaner.

We had the worst experience at this hotel. We woke up mice dropping on the bedding and toilet seat and could hear mice rustling in our room. When addressed with the general manager he was very rude with us and told us their was nothing he could/would do.

Moldy ceiling and wall in the bathroom, as well as dirty blankets. Housekeeping burst into my room even after telling them I would be spending most of that particular day in the room, and that I didn't need cleaning (I was not provided with a do not disturb sign). They actually refused to leave until they I gave them my trash bin. Fitness room was locked almost the entire duration of my stay, and staff were not helpful. Only reason to stay here is the price, but find somewhere else.

Been driving all day &I'm too exhausted to go elsewhere I would have paid $100+ to stay elsewhere just to have a clean bathroom and normal sized pillows… needless to say I'm sleeping in my clothes and will be out of here after a 4 or 5 hour nap. This place is old dingy and unsanitary don't waste your money you might catch something. The guy at the desk was super nice tho to bad he works here.
