Our stay was awesome! The restaurant next to the camp had amazing food! The scenery and night live music and s’mores and games were an additional plus! It was cold at night, recommended a propane heater or a fan if too hot. Stove didn’t heat tent as well as thought. Overall it was a wonderful stay our kids had a lot of fun!

The staff is super attentive and always on point. Loved the texting feature I new I could contact you guys if the need arrived. The activities all family friendly. Already made plans to come back next year with brother and kids. In fact I want to do an under canvas vacation and visit all of your locations. Needless to say the tent extremely comfortable and fun. Wish I had stayed more days.

So you love camping in the great outdoors but your spouse and kids think that they have to camp at the Hilton. Under Canvas is a mixture of the best of both worlds. You can stay in a large canvas tent that opens to the beautiful scenery of the great outdoors and views of the big sky of Montana. While your pampered spouse and kids can sleep on soft beds with an indoor bathroom in the full size tent. Keep warm in the cold of winter with the warmth of the wood burning stove. Your luxurious canvas tent hosts the comforts of home while offering the feel of the great outdoors. You have tho try it once.

It was exactly as advertised. Staff was friendly and facilities were stocked and clean. Our only real issues were the lack of in-room electrical outlets, and the life of the wood stoves. The battery packs they give for power weren't even enough to make my phone be 100% in the morning, and you need to put wood into the stove every two hours to stay warm overnight. I don't think I'd stay here again, but that doesn't mean that others shouldn't experience it; it's a really cool concept and the room/tent was nice.

Amazing place to stay. Comfortable and homey. Deluxe tents have own, private bath. Wood burning stove to keep you warm at night (it is August and is down in high 30s — low 40s at night. Breakfast is awesome. Great views. Campfire every night. Love this place.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews about this place as it was absolutely spectacular. The staff was very welcoming and courteous when we arrived. They showed us around and helped us take our bags to the tent. The tent was clean and more than we expected. The grounds were so beautiful and we got to spend some time in the hammock zone staring at the gorgeous river running through the property. There was live music at the main camp site and even a fire pit with s'mores supplies. The best part was sitting out front of the tent and staring at the stars. We even saw a few shooting stars! The bath houses were super clean and way nicer than anything that I've ever been to at a campground. I HIGHLY suggest staying here if you have the opportunity. Obviously, its camping and in the outdoors. You're NOT getting a hotel room, so don't expect it to be JUST like a hotel. If you're looking for something unique in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, then this is it!

We booked a tent last minute and were pleasantly surprised. It was a ways outside town but the restaurant made for a quick, easy, and delicious dinner. We enjoyed the evening campfire and being able to light a wood stove in our tent at night. The bed was just like a hotel room's. Our tent was at the end of the camp so it was private and had a great view but not all tents were like that. The river was nice but also brought bugs with it. You are definitely in the outdoors with swallows, field mice, cows, and even coyote howls at night but you have the comfort of a clean roomy tent. We appreciated being able to order a takeout lunch. The breakfast was mediocre, especially compared to dinner. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Amazing location with excellent amenities. Restaurant was better than any we tried in West Yellowstone (other than the breakfast, which is included, and the same you would find at any chain hotel), with the trout being especially good. Plenty of activities on site and near by, with an excellent stream for fly fishing. Service is excellent, and very professionally managed. We can't wait to go back!

If you are looking for a unique experience and aren't afraid of camping (you are out in the elements with bugs, animals and weather) this is the place for you! I would give this 10 stars if I could! We had an amazing experience here. From the extremely friendly staff to the luxury accommodations, hot showers and flush toilets, this place is a secluded oasis while still being convenient to West Yellowstone and the park entrance. Kelsey checked us in and even gave us a golf ca…rt ride in the "limo" to get our luggage to the tent. We are a family of 5 so we rented a Safari tent with adjacent tipi to fit all of us. She oriented us to the tent and double checked to make sure our batteries were charged and ready to go. The Safari tent was equipped with a king size bed, dressers, a stove for warmth, a cot, and a table and chairs. All tents are equipped with lanterns and battery packs so you can charge phones or anything with a usb port. There is no electricity in the tents but if you need to charge something you can do it in the main check in tent. In the teepee there were 2 cots and a light. There is a tarp on the ground in both tents so you are not on dirt. We dropped our stuff and walked down to the campfire where there were lawn games and s'mores a plenty. In the check in tent there is a seating area with a small fire pit (gas fire), coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and a help desk with someone available 24/7. They also have board games you can check out.

A very fun and unique experience. Our timing was a bit unfortunate as we experienced a huge wind storm in our only night there. The tent held up and the wood stove in the tent was a must. The fire at the registration tent was really cool and the staff was very kind any helpful. We took it dog with us and they have very strict, and appreciated, rules about dogs. He slept with us in the tent and was very happy about that situation. If the proprietors are seeing this, please consider adding a tie down to the zipper window side of the tent to prevent wind from moving or around so much.

Loved the “glamping”/ camping experience. Clean room with great wood stove type fireplace to keep warm. The property is beautiful. They have fun games for outdoors, also a big fire with everything provided for s’mores. Next to the river. They have bug repellent you can use for the evening time. Bathrooms were not too far away and very clean. Nice warm water for showers. It’s a great change from hotels and fun experience without actually camping but at least a sense of “camping”. Especially since we did not get to camp at all on our Yellowstone trip.

A serene experience. If you are a fan of the outdoors then this is definitely for you. They do a very good job of keeping everything super clean and the staff was great. We stayed at the Yellowstone location. A bit pricey for what it is because the general upkeep of the place is not crazy like a normal hotel in my opinion but it’s something different. I do recommend!

I have to say this is most unique "hotel" experience in my life. You gonna share a big tent with your friends, and you have a burner in your tent. That's amazing! And at the same time, the employees here are really helpful and friendly, their 24/7 service can make you safe and comfortable during the freezing night. Although we have to use a public bathroom with other tourists, it's extremely clean, just like living in a luxury hotel. The only problem is the price is a little bit higher.

Very interesting experience. The extremely nature side is nice if not the lack of electrical comfort. We were caught short and arrived with half of our electrical appliances almost empty. The recharge at the reception is convenient to fill this lack but can lead to a lack of comfort. The extra chimney is helpful and enjoyable. The sanitary, although not exceptional, is clean and well maintained. The team is very close to the guests and the evening around the fire very "local style" and friendly.

The best camping experience of our cross-country trip. We stopped here for only one night but are thrilled we did. It was incredibly expensive since it was the eclipse, but split 3 ways it was affordable — and honestly, worth it. We shared a 4 person tent which had 4 twin beds and a dresser, and it came with rechargeable battery operated lanterns to use at night. The main tent had free coffee and tea, and there is a large bonfire every night with free s'mores! The showers and bathrooms were incredibly clean, and luckily our tent was very close to them. The quiet was deafening and the sky was clear — it was exactly what we were looking for. If I didn't have a GPS I would be nervous at the distance it was from the main nearby town, but once we got settled and checked din, we relaxed for a whole day. We went to town, ate, did some shopping, wrote some post cards, then came home to just relax, lounge, see the stars and breathe in the fresh night sky. It was the perfect stop on our incredibly taxing 14 day journey. I cannot recommend this enough — it isa once in a lifetime type stay — definitely stay! If you can book one with a heater inside that would be best. We had super warm down comforters on our beds, but a warmer tent ant night would be extra nice.

Perfection. Great amenities, beautiful surroundings and LOVED OUR LODGING. Just two girls, our canvass tent and this breath taking location. Plus, there's a fabulous restaurant!

The place is very unique and I loved it. The bed is luxurious and just step outside the tent to experience the darkest of nights. Staff is friendly and very responsive. Towels were refilled within minutes of request. Only giving it 4 stars for the following reasons: 1. Not being able to eat inside the tent to keep the bugs down. Not quite a vacation if unable to eat where we stay. 2. Given just 3 fire starters for people who have barely ever touched match sticks. We definitely needed more than 3 fire starters and a few kindling. 3. Military shower is just not my thing.

It is very quiet and serene place. The tents were very clean and maintained nicely. Staff took good care of us, bathrooms were common for our tent but come attached with other tents. They were cleaned several times everyday. There were places for campfire although we didn't use it. Overall it is a wonderful place to camp under.

We really enjoyed our stay. What a great way to camp if traveling from afar. The staff was amazing! The view even more so. They have very nice full bathrooms and some tents have their own. Each tent has a wood burning stove to help you keep warm and the most incredible bed with enough blankets to keep you snuggly. Make sure to get up and out on a clear night and see the Milky way. Great reception tent with free hot chocolate, tea, and coffee. There are games to play, a bonfire area, horseshoes and corn hole. The Bar N Restaurant at the entrance is phenomenal with fantastic service. All of this within minutes of the West Entrance to Yellowstone Park. (Go to the park! ) I was sad our five night stay was over. I'm ready to go back.

We had a wonderful experience. I'm not a camper and this was the perfect midway point between camping and a hotel. We called it "GLAMPING". The service was great! You have to keep the wood burning fireplace stoked as it gets cold. But wood and starter stuff was all provided.

This is our first time staying at any under canvas and first time visiting Yellowstone. We have been here since Friday and have had the best experience! The staff here are absolutely phenomenal! Very Courteous, helpful and friendly! I highly recommend staying here, the best way to stay in Yellowstone! We will be back again!

The people who reviewed this place poorly clearly didn't understand the concept. This is glamping at it's finest! If you know how to properly bank a fire in your stove, you stay cozy all night. We actually woke up sweaty and it was 30 degrees. The blankets are thick and fluffy and it was a treat to wake up out in nature on a big, soft bed. I enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature. The staff was friendly and the dinner was amazing! I highly recommend this experience.

If I could give less than 1 star I would have. If you want to get sick after paying $230 this is perfect place. No room heater and it was chilling in the night. I dint understand deluxe tent has some heating mechanism. Does it mean people who paid less are not supposed to sleep? Then what is the use of tent? In website I purchased this room no where it's mentioned they don't have heaters and it's shared bath room. My suggestion to owner to keep extra chargable heaters, at least for the people wish to pay and sleep well. My next day trip was screwed up with no sleep. I don't recommend this to anyone.

Actually a super thing. The tents on the edge of the tent settlement with a clear view of nature are awesome-simply breathtaking. The tent equipment with Boxspring king beds and x layers of bed linen are great. No 5 stars since the price is actually a cheekiness. Service with students, friendly but not professional.
